One of my favorite coffee shops in bham, just wish they had longer hours in the evening! It's a great place to study and get your caffeine fix. Love their sweets, especially the cookies.

I've only been here a handful of times, and I usually enjoy it. It gets really crowded when there are events there though, and I've tried to pop in for a cup of coffee after work before and they sent me away because they were about to close. I'll be back for sure, but not my top coffee shop in town.

First trip to Birmingham ever. Saw this while driving down the street and my buddy thought it was a different cafe. We parked and walked in and realized it wasn't what we thought but stayed in anyway. From what I was told this area was currently gentrified and it used to be quite sketchy. Basically, an investor or someone decided to spruce up the building and expose the charm of this old building (probably 1920's if not older). This cafe has charm for days and is just crazy comfy. My only drawback, I don't recall any music playing over house speakers and what's a coffee shop without music? They make a variety of hot and cold beverages and they roast their own coffee! Everyone there was genuinely friendly and their beverages were tasty. They also serve a variety of sandwiches and baked goodness. I want to say we sat in there 30-60 minutes drinking our cold coffee beverages and geeking out on our cell phones. Thanks Red Cat for being there and being rad. Birmingham, go here NOW!

Phenomenal! I am really enjoying the coffeehouse scene in Birmingham, and keep discovering new shops to try out. The Red Cat was recommended to me while out at Church Street, so I made a point to pay a visit the following morning. The dark roast brew was tasty, as was the festively decorated hot chocolate. Ambiance was warm and inviting, and the cat theme for the specialty lattes was a nice creative detail. Looks like there's a lively music scene here I'll have to check out on a later date.

I think I said before O'henrys is my favorite coffee shop in Birmingham. After trying a pumpkin spiced latte here, this is my new favorite. I think there was a real slice of pumpkin pie in it. How did they do that? And they also decorated it with cute pumpkin-shaped sprinkles. Doesn't get better than that.
