I have to do an update to respond to all the "too much salt" reviews I am reading. I am one of the most salt sensitive people in the world, I think. I cannot stand most chips because of the salt, cannot stand many restaurants because of the salt. I do not eat mayo because I find it so disgusting. I have never liked chicken salad or egg salad, etc. Chicken Salad Chick chicken salad is not at all salty, the mayo amount is so low that it does not bother me and the chicken is so fresh that is does not have a "chicken" taste. Now, if you get chicken salad here that has bacon, cheese, dressing or pickles in it, then you can expect some salt, naturally. Get the Classic Carol and you will not find it overly salted. Briefly, this is the best chicken salad I have had. It is mainly white meat chicken. And, yes, the base is the same for all the chicken salads with ingredients added to all but the Classic Carol. The others will have the taste of the ingredients you ask them to add by right of ordering whatever of the 15 varieties you order. So, do not be surprised if the salty ingredients make it salty.

So a particular chicken salad is called Fruity Fran..when it is nothing but shredded chicken? Ordered a scoop of that and got one tiny bite size Apple sliver in this scoop.. that is it. Ordered the trio ..with crackers.. all the crackers were broken and in pieces . The chicken salad doesn't taste near as good as the Auburn location and I won't be back to this location. My 5th visit and haven't been impressed at all.

Finally made it to Chicken Salad Chick! I love chicken salad, but not loving this Chix salad. Great anticipation turned to despair is all I can say. Tried the trio, why not sample as many choices as I can, right? Three different scoops on the plate for sure. Three different chicken salads, not so sure. All three taste exactly the same. Shredded chicken, and I mean mush, with gobs of mayo and salt, tons and tons of salt. Chunks of chicken, not a one. Chunks of chicken grizzle, yes mam. Guess I am leaving the Chix hungry because this mush is not going any further than in the trash. Only thing that makes this decision to eat here worse is the fact I paid 9 bucks. Skip the Chick when you are in the mood for chicken salad.

Note that I'm ONLY giving 3* because I think they just need to work out a few kinks. For instance - SALT level! WOW - seems high. Lack of options for bread. Smaller togo portions. Also, sub for the cookie. Fresh jalapeno's versus jar. Some positives, very warm and welcoming vibe when you enter the store. Friendly staff, options to taste the numerous chicken salads. (wish I had done that before I bought the jalapeno one today). They seem fresh and I'll go again to see how it improves. Nice having more choices of places out this way on 280. Keep up the good training on friendly staff - that goes a long way.

This has so much potential! Employees are friendly and decor is adorable, chicken salad is very good and nice selection. The problem? Aside from a basic scoop of chicken salad, there is no freaking salad in the place! I don't know about you, but I love a good fresh greens & veggie salad topped with chicken salad...maybe I'm delusional but that's what I expected to find here. Instead it's plopped on a piece of overtired leaf lettuce with a pack of crackers in plastic wrap. Blah. Right now I would seriously love some of their chicken salad trio, but you know what? I'm going next door to Panera because I can get a good crisp salad and more variety to satisfy the rest of my family. This has been the case every time after my initial two visits, and I bet I'm not the only one. Chicken salad chick, please give us some SALAD to go with the good stuff!

The chicken salad had a distinct chemical taste. I am not sure if was the taste of preservatives or what. It was way too salty. (I had the plain chicken salad). really was disappointed because I read some good reviews about this place. Everything tasted processed. The soup was fairly tasty. Also, the portions were small. I was still hungry after eating.
