Heading to Dance Nationals in Panama City, FL. we stopped at Krystals. Typical burger place. But, I loved the burgers! Onions mixed in with the burgers gave me a flashback to my Little Tavern days in Maryland. I still miss Little Tavern in College Park, MD. Nothing like a LT burger at 2 in the morning! Nice burger at Krystals.

The service was just okay, left much to be desired. I selected the wing options, found the food very affordable and not bad.

Their burger sliders here are super tiny but super cute. Their chili items are the selling point. The chili cheese burger and it tasted exactly how you think it would taste--hot, tasty, and just the right size. Don't order anything from their breakfast menu especially their grits. It's the equivalent of tasteless water broth.

Since I ripped this one in another view for not being open, I will review this one from the perspective that when they are open, they have got the goods. Of course this is all a matter of perspective. Krystal isn't necessarily a go-to place if you are hungry for something to eat - you have to be in the mood for Krystal and if you are then it hits the spot. I love how you have to order so many Krystals to satiate your appetite. For whatever reason, eating those tiny bugers is fun - perhaps this was the genesis of the whole slider renaissance? Who knows, either way, those who have been know (or those who have watched Harold & Kumar - or those who enjoy the same things Harold & Kumar enjoy)...
