This place a real piece of history. Ordering outside at the window and eating your food at the picnic table nearby really makes you wonder what it was like back in the day. All the people coming and going just as you did, enjoying simple foods with family and friends. The service and prices are really good. And the food is great. It's classic hotdogs, hamburgers, shakes, and malts!! If you're in the area or want to take a drive and want a taste of history, then you should stop here! Let the kids experience something different from the current corporate eating of today.

Good ice cream. Haven't tried the food yet, but it's always got a crowd there to get dessert. Warning, they only take cash. So come prepared.

Kreme Delite is perfect for an ice cream snack. From what I heard this place has been here for a long time still serving great ice cream. The prices are awesome and it seems like they kept them from past. From what I remember, the price for a small cone is $1.50. But a small is plenty of ice cream to eat. They also sell shakes, pretzels, burgers, hot dogs, and other yummy items. I really liked how they kept the building in it's old form. Definitely worth a stop.

Yankees over forty years old will remember places like this that disappeared when we got old enough to drive. Yep, frozen in time, a small swirl cone was a buck thirty-six. The place, location, and all is exactly how you remembered it. I'll be back for the upside down banana split if I'm sent here for work again. Danno

Extremely nice ladies! Their milkshake was good (very heavy on butterscotch). Their dipped ice cream cream was also good. Extra kudos for being a local own and forever old! :)

This place is a true southern icon dating back to the early 1950's. Even though this small, white building sits behind many newer and bigger ones, Kreme Delite is a well-known place that many people frequent. You can't beat the prices here and they have the most amazing classic milkshakes, chili dogs, upside down banana splits (in cups), soft serve ice cream and cherry cokes. If you are ever in Athens, AL near the square and the beautiful historic courthouse... I urge you to go a few blocks over and try the Kreme Delite at 401 W. Washington Street.
