Looking for something other than fast food while passing through and we were pleasantly surprised. Country cooking at its finest. I'd take this over Cracker Barrel any day.

A little roadside dive. Most items are frozen, however seasoned and cooked well. Has a small 4 table patio with a fountain that's nice. Inside is small, but accommodating. Food is served cafeteria style. All food in the bins is covered so they have to remove each lid for you to see it. Fine dining it isn't...but friendly and just okay country cooking. I would say, avoid fish on Friday's. Its frozen with a crust. The crust stays on the fish but it's really hard to put a fork through. You have to use a knife or pick it up and bite through it. The flavor was ok, but just too difficult to eat and makes you miss a light cornmeal batter and flakey catfish. Fried chicken looked good in the bins, but all I saw was breasts (bone-in)...and I don't eat those because a breast to me is too dry. Chicken & dumplings looked good though...and I do think those were homemade. I had mac n cheese too...it was tastey but very dry. Mash potatoes weren't homemade, but tasted good. Fried okra...frozen, yeast rolls that you buy in freezer section at Wal-Mart. Crowder peas flash frozen, but seasoned well. Hush puppies seemed to be homemade and were really good, as was the tartar sauce! I'll take a plate of those over anything else! Country fried steak was a processed frozen patty and was edible. Country gravy on top of patty was a package mix. I have nothing against package gravy because I use it sometimes, but I always add a little bacon or sausage grease....yeah not healthy, but in the South we know how to make a good roux for gravy and use a little grease off one or the other when using a package mix. Nothing to write home about, but for a quick fix...I reckon it's okay. Countryish cooking is better than no cooking at all. LOL.

Great homestyle food and nice people. Southern cooking with blue plate specials each day.

I grew up eating good southern food and the Two Sisters Cafe is the closest you'll find to homemade. The food is cooked correctly and seasoned well. The portions are ample and if you get there early enough to get desert (peach cobbler served until it runs out) you'll be hooked. The environment is cozy and welcoming and you always get service with a smile. I really can't do them justice enough, if you're in the area you have to give them a try. If you're not in the area I guarantee it's worth the trip.
