Lively crowd on a Thursday night. It's located in an older part of town near the old rail yards. I had the burger with a side of Mac and cheese. Very tasty. Beer selection wasn't the greatest. Nice patio area out back for cool night time dining. Service was very friendly, but my friend had to wait about 15 minutes for his dessert to arrive.

We had a boys day out at Cheaha Brewing Company today to celebrate a birthday and I really enjoyed this place. The beers I had were great. The food was also very good. I would recommend this your to do list in Anniston. The staff was very friendly but way way understaffed this Sunday. I had the wee heavy High Gravity beer, very smooth! We also had the nachos, steak salads, and steak sandwiches; all of these were also very good.

Amazing beers! I had the sweet potato and my boyfriend had the vanilla porter both were flavorful, paired with what my boyfriend said were "the best nachos he had ever had in his life!" And I have to agree completely, this place is a 5star all the way. Awesome historic building, amazing proprietor, attentive wait staff, tasty brews and delicious food! It's a total win! What are you waiting for? Get your ass down there and see & taste for yourself!!! Yum!!

Tried this place tonight with two other couples. Food is absolutely delicious! Everybody got burgers- they use grass-fed beef and it's delicious. I had the pimiento cheeseburger, hubs had the cheeseburger, two friends had the mushroom and Swiss burger... No complaints at all. Waffle fries are seasoned perfectly. The beers were great- I loved my vanilla porter. I would definitely go back!!!

Stopped here for dinner on a hot Alabama day. This converted Railway Station is pretty cool inside. I started with the pimento cheese appetizer, which was really good but could have used some more peppers. But it was homemade, so I cut them some slack. My shrimp and grits was awesome, different from the norm in a good way. It had green beans and roasted cherry tomatoes in addition to the shrimp and Parmesan, plus a great broth on it. Definitely a good recommendation from my server, who was very attentive and always made sure I had a full drink without being intrusive. This is a really cool place a little off the beaten path in downtown Anniston. Definitely worth a visit!

I'm going to start off by saying I am a "Beer geek" so keep that in mind with this review. Lets start with the beer. The locally brewed beer here is average nothing really stands out at all. With a 90 gallon brewhouse you have the option to really make some incredible beers but they aren't utilizing that. Also brewing on such a small setup you could really get into brewing up some experimental "one off" batches to keep the local beer geeks interested but again they aren't doing that. I'm glad they have guest taps. The food is overpriced but pretty good. The steak was very disappointing @ $22 it was a 4-5 oz thin cut new york strip that left you hungry when leaving. The burgers are good but then again it's hard to drop $16-$18 dollars on a burger but that's just me. They are obviously doing something right because the place stays busy and that's good to see any local business do well. Maybe at some point they will branch out of that comfort zone and start to "tweak" those beer recipes or maybe do some experimental casks ale. Cheers !

My nachos took 30 minutes, the manager states " because they make everything to order. My question is how long does it take to get a steak? The band was great, and a beautiful place to hang.

Came here for lunch on a Monday while I was passing through town. I went with the special of the day which was a Salmon Salad Wrap. It was very light and the touch of mayo made it very tasty. The service was nice, but I really loved the space. The openness of the building and all the bare wood with the natural light makes it desirable to want to come back.

I can't speak to the wait to seat because I was running late along with co-worker I was riding with. Since we had called ahead and they seemed to be ready for our group I imagine there was no wait. Very light lunch crowd but maybe attributed to location and mid week. Atmosphere was a bug plus. Background music very good and not too loud and not too quiet. Waited a little longer than expected to order after the last of us arrived, especially considering light crowd overall. Reasonable amount of time to wait for food for party of 11. I had the blackened catfish Po Boy with a Caesar salad. Fish was seasoned well and tasted very good. It is a little off the beaten path but would definitely go back if in the area. Would especially like to see what it is like at night and on the weekend.

The best burger I have ever had. Service was even better than the burger!!!!!! Atmosphere was rustic and nice. I had an old fashioned, so reasonably priced. Others had beer. Said it was really tasty!!! What a great place!

Great atmosphere and vibe...it's located in an old refurbished train station. Very friendly staff. Owner circulates the crowd and likes to talk beer with the patrons. Live music on some nights. Food was great both times I ate there. Menu is mostly bar food, with some entrees. In addition to making their own beer, they smoke their own pork. Most of the beers are European types, so no west coast IPAs/Double IPAs. They did have one IPA, which was hoppy enough. The 80 Schilling brew had a great flavor, with a slight smokey taste. I didn't have a bad beer there. If I lived in Annistion this would be a regular haunt.

Tried lunch for first time- the CBC Angel Falls ale beer was good- my veggie sandwich was good but the service was quite slow- there were only 2 waitresses on site during lunch but fortunately I wasn't in a rush. Definitely will go back and try out one of the dinner entrees.

This place is really cool. We had great service and the food was good. I really liked the Pinhoti pale ale but you should try all the beer they make. The place was really clean and id recommend it to anyone who likes beer and good food.

If you'd asked me a week ago, I would've given the brewing company an outstanding recommendation; however, after my experiences last night, I'm afraid I can't. Two of the three strongest aspects (beer, hamburgers, and ketchup being the three) have fallen terribly short and one has simply vanished altogether only to be replaced by cheap, store bought, junk. I speak of their hamburgers and ketchup as being the two offenders. Previously, their hamburgers were large, thick patties, the best of which I'd ever eaten! Now, they seem to have been shrunken down, their diameter smaller than that of the bun they sit upon. (Never mind the after affects of eating said food, suffice to say I was locked in a certain small room of my house for quite some time after!) Their ketchup, while originally a unique, thick, delicious, lovingly hand crafted and home made affair has now been replaced by cheap Hunt's ketchup. I was told this change was made by popular demand, but why anyone in their right mind would demand Hunt's ketchup, of all brands, is beyond me. I can get an equal experience for cheaper, now, at any of the dozens of chain restaurants. If these trends toward cheapening continue, I can't imagine I'll be going back much more often.

Vintage with class! Bringing the new to the old! Maybe their new opening has you a little timid, but the burgers, beer, and appetizers are life changing! Give your local brewery the support. Once in a lifetime experience for me, but will make a two hour trek to return. Beers: ales to stouts. Food: burger to mahi mahi. Entertainment: big tvs and live music. Clean bathrooms and outside smoking areas. Don't let the location scare you, it's the best place in town!!! Bartender has the best around btw... Per bartender :P

Absolutely one of my favorite spots in town. Great local brew with fresh foods. The look of this place speaks for itself and they have a great outdoor area. This is a must visit! Be sure to check out their daily specials.

Great beer; great live music! Awesome outdoor seating area, too. My only complaint is the inside is too bright. They need to dim the lights..

Wow! Who expected such a treasure tucked away in a beautiful little southern town. Tastefully decorated. Friendly, outgoing & knowledgeable staff. Our server Elise was so helpful. The beer menu is full off so many delicious choices I could not decide, so she skillfully talked me through choosing 5 for "The Filght", nice size sample glasses. Upon delivering it to the table she went through explaining each beer, left to right so I could pick a favorite. The menu has something for everyone! Moderately priced upscale pub cuisine. Live entertainment, friendly knowledgeable staff, great food, amazing beer, full bar, great wine list....a must visit for locals or tourists! I will definetely be a regular!

Beer is ok. Food is good. Music is good, but way too loud. TURN THE MUSIC DOWN! I can't have a conversation with the group I am with.

Where to start.. Ohh where to start! Was in town for a educational event.. Waited 60min to place a drink order and another 60min (120min total) just to place my dinner order. Then the bill took another 60min to arrive! Seriously? I heard of slow tows but thus place needs serious reaturant help from one if those TV shows!! The menu is extremely basic... Simpler than bar food... Terrible!!

I love this place! Stay away from the macaroni and cheese! I threw up the rest of the day!! The rest of the food is really good.

I was in Anniston for a week for CDP traning. A group of us went to multiple restaurants in Anniston and the surrounding areas and this was hands down everyone's favorite. I'm a beer snob, and I live in a city known for lots of local beer. I was excited to try some local brews I'd never heard of, and the staff was great about answering my (obnoxiously) detailed questions. They were also good at steering people who like Bud Light to beers they enjoyed. The food was delicious. The menu isn't huge but there's enough of a variety to satisfy a large group. The beer cheese dip is a must. The burgers were all moist without being greasy. The BLT and chicken salad also got high marks for fresh ingredients. The best part was that the staff was not annoyed by our large group. Several local businesses weren't thrilled when 15 people showed up at once (I know, it's a lot) but the staff of Cheaha was happy to see us.

Great beer and great service. Was visiting Anniston from Florida and my husband and I love to visit micro brews and this one did not disappoint! They have their own beers on tap as well as other local brews.

My family and I had dinner here tonight to celebrate my sisters birthday. I could not be more pleased. The staff is friendly and attentive. The burgers were to die for! I had the blue cheese all I can say is WOW! It was awesome. The beer cheese and pretzels hit the spot. Next thing that is perfect is it is child friendly 100% they offer live music, corn hole, and huge deck to enjoy. This restaurant is one to put on your list and visit often.
