Please do not believe the pictures on the website. The food looks nothing like the food in the pictures. The food is processed. One of the dishes I had was a tossed salad. They advertise the salad as "hand-cut". It was clearly a bagged salad that smelled and tasted stale. The side items were not very tasty and my baked potato was small. All of the salad bits were tiny. The little cheese shavings, the red lettuce, even the croutons were strangely very small. They could not possibly have been hand cut. The bacon bits were from a bag. The salad was not very good at all. On the plus side, the ranch dressing had a good taste; But it was too runny and not particularly cold. While on the subject of temperature, the food became cold fairly rapidly. I question if any of the food was freshly made. The steak even cooled rapidly. Was it pre-cooked? Was it frozen? It had a strange, slightly chemical taste. Other than that, the steak was fairly ok. (Better than the rest of the food). The spinach dip also tasted frozen and pre-cooked. I would think with these prices, the food would be of a higher quality. With the exception of the steak (which I thought was a fair and decent portion) everything looked small and puny. Strangely enough, the restaurant was crowded. Maybe because it was a Friday night. The service was good and efficient. It was all very puzzling and I don't understand some of these positive reviews. The food was underwhelming and some of the dishes were not tasty at all. My advice if you're craving a steak is to cook your own steaks at home. Or, if you're not in the mood to cook your own steak, bypass this restaurant for one with a better quality food. I wish I could have read my own review before our family spent money here. Bottom Line: The food tasted pre-cooked, pre-packaged and frozen. Not very tasty at all. Service was good, however. I wish the service had carried over into the taste of the food.

Service is friendly and the food is good, but a little slow coming out. Bar also seems to be masking a bottle of Jim Beam with a Red Stag label. Easily accessible off the interstate.

Just like with any restaurant's there are good locations and there are not so good. Alabaster's location is very good, and Professional.

We met some friends for lunch after church this past Sunday. After a 15-20 minute wait we were seated. The staff was friendly. The server was slow but likely new and friendly enough...My "premium" prime rib topped burger was over cooked... It ended up well past well done / I ordered medium. There was a single minuscule slice of what they called prime rib on top... The burger I got was not what was pictured at 13.99. My wife's ribeye was undercooked / raw in part ordered medium rare. As a rule we generally don't send food back to the kitchen for whatever treatment the staff deems necessary for the audacity of patrons expecting a quality product we choose not to return. I understand an undercooked steak isn't a big deal to some. I however expect that a restaurant that calls itself a steak house be able to cook a steak and a burger to order. Call me crazy. I did not get what I paid for! I paid over $60.00 for lunch for 4 and was extremely disappointed with what I received. I know why it has been so long since we had been to Longhorn. It does not appear there is a quality standard for the food coming out of the kitchen.

Well, yet again, I fell for the hype. Once again, the restaurant's performance falls flat. My steak was room temperature, and looked like it was processed meat, not a freshly grilled steak. My wife's salad was not freshly cut, it was straight out of a bag. To be fair, however, the staff was professional, upbeat and courteous.

Had a fantastic cut of steak here! I went with the cowboy ribeye while the misses went to the bacon wrapped filet. Both were excellent and a great value! The service was great as well!! Do yourself a favor and never order your steak over medium at a real steak house; the flavor is fantastic when cooked properly!

My wife and I are regulars. Never have had a bad experience here, service or food. Employees always cheerful and welcoming. Meals usually are ready within a reasonable time, a little bit longer on Fri/Sat nights when it's very busy, which is to be expected. Deserts are very good, and a very generous amount. Owner Tim usually makes the rounds of tables. We had a minor comment once and he gave us coupons for a future visit. Plus he's a Packer fan! :)

I was super impressed. We went on a Tuesday night and the service was great. The meal was great all around... good bread, salad, sides and STEAK. The bone-in ribeye was incredible.
