Helen is a fiesty old lady with lots of energy. She prepares good breakfasts, keeps the place clean and is a good hostess. if you were there on vacation it would probably be fine. I on the other hand was there to work at the Alaska State Fair which was long hours under rough weather conditions. If you want a quiet place I do not recomend it. She is loud, boisterous, and demanding with lots of rules. she loves to help, But you will pay for it. Although her prices were quite resonable, and she is a women with a big heart, she was unprofessional by charging us about $150 more then she quoted us by phone. I am a pretty patient person who deals with a lot, but after spending 13 nights there I blew a gasket as she does not let up and is a constant complainer. Personally I feel we deserve a partial refund for the headache she created. She will go way beyond and above, but you pay for it with either an additional charge or constant complaints. Next time I will pay more and have some peace of mind. It would have been perfect had she been gone or at least quiet once in awhile. I gave it 3 stars as she did do a lot to help and even cooked some dinners for us after we bought the food. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place go elsewhere. The place is nice and clean and in the country which is gorgeous. If you can put up with a nagging old lady then it might work
