I give it only 3 stars because they sent my order of spring rolls to the wrong table and messed up my order. I ordered the padsee eew. Got some sort of rice dish. My daughter ordered the sweet and sour chicken. Very good. When my order came out, it was excellent. I would recommend thai town.

By far the worst service and Thai food I have ever experienced . Got our order wrong (which we talked with our server about explicitly due to allergies) and were given spring rolls with shrimp in them. The spring rolls took 45 minutes to get to us, and it was over an hour for the rest of the food. The pad Thai, fried rice and garlic chicken were lifeless, tasteless and even looked unappetizing. We literally took a few bites of each, paid and left. It was horrible. We have eaten at Thai restaurants all over the US and this is definitely the worst. They should be embarrassed to serve the food they do. I make better Thai food. Their pad Thai tasted like the first time I ever tried to make it...with peanut butter, ick!! I still can't believe how bad this place is. They need a new chef who knows how to make authentic Thai dishes. What a disappointment. Note that in an area with so few restaurants to choose from, this one is so bad we won't even go when we are too tired to cook. We would rather eat a frozen pizza:(

We came the other night for dinner, and I am sure we will be back. The food was good, pretty spicy, so order accordingly. We had the Tofu Pad Thai, and the curry vegetables.

I'm from Southern California and have had quite a bit of experience eating Thai food--and I can tell you with confidence that Thai Town is legit! Tonight I ordered dinner to go: Spring Rolls, Tom Yum Gai, Shrimp Pad Thai. Spring rolls were fresh and tasty, with good peanut sauce for dipping. Tom Yum Gai had authentic spices: lemon grass, *real* Thai ginger and Thai basil, making for a tart, spicy and delicious soup. Pad Thai continued the trend--flavorful shrimp, perfectly cooked noodles, great sauce. This chef knows what he's doing.

Great buffet for $11.00 during the week but no buffet on the weekends. My favorite is the spicy yellow curry and the tofu pad thai. Family owned and operated and very friendly. I eat lunch there whenever I'm in Kenai.

My wife remarked "this is the first clean place we've been to in Kenai." My daughter excitedly added "with clean toilets!" I concur. Friendly staff, nice decor. And that's where it all went to heck. 10 minutes to make a thai iced tea? I asked for medium spicy and my masman beef was so bland all i could think was 'dinty moore' as i plopped each lifeless flap in my mouth. I'm pretty sure the potatoes were rotten. My wife's medium spicy beef salad was so hot we started laughing as tears streamed down her face! And on and on... Oh well, High hopes.
