Halibut and Chips are excellent. We received two large pieces probably could of shared. We left stuffed. Staff were super friendly. Our first seafood in Homer we arrived late yesterday.

I had high hopes for this establishment. The staff is super friendly. The reviews were good. The view deserves a 6 star. But my first bite of the oyster was dry. The first bite of my halibut was dry and tasteless. The clams and shrimp were below par. The fries were good. It was as if the food was purchased at SAMs and put in a frier and then overlooked. It is terrible to pay money to go out to eat and then wish you'd have stayed home.

Not much of a fish person, but when in homer. Had the halibut wrap spicy $12 and it was very good. The halibut Fish and chips $21 were good as well the fish is panko breaded and more patty shaped than large pieces. fries were shoestring and slaw was good but overly mayoed. they have indoor and outdoor seating.

We just had amazing fresh halibut (fish and chips, wrap and burger). Cole slaw fresh as well. The halibut was exceptionally tasty and light. Breaded perfect and FRESH! Great locale and service. Good place for lunch with family.

everyone raves about the burgers, but honestly, i don't get it. Maybe a decent burger is hard to come by in Alaska, but in Illinois they are easy to find and there are tons of chains with better burgers, Somy wife and I stopped in and to be fair, it was like 2:00 and we were hungry. I had chowder and a glacier burger and she had the glacier burger as well. Don't get me wrong, it was a good burger, but just a burger, not larger than normal, not better beef, just average, and the standard toppings. My wife was more impressed, I think it was just because she was starving. The chowder was watery, I had at least two other chowders while in Alaska that were much better, but then this is a burger place, right? So if you are in homer and you want a burger for lunch, stop on in, but don't expect to be blown away

A Homer Spit tradition! People in Homer actually wait to see when this place opens and THEN ... it's summer for real! The burgers are fab, the drinks icy and the staff are like family. You just cannot go wrong with a big hot cheeseburger with a load of salty fries from the Glacier. Best burger on the Spit, and some say .. best burger in Homer! I'm giving it five stars for its long history, the great burgers, delish shakes and friendly staff ... and because I always run into friends every single time I go out there to grab a burger!
