I sat at the bar, had great service... There was a more sit down area across the hall, but it was pretty full and looked hectic. The bar had limited beers on tap, think 4, but had a few bombers for a great price and opted for one of them. I had the reindeer meatloaf, with veggies and mashed... It was great!

Friendly service, but food was cold. I had crab legs (not the best I have had, but the most expensive) and spouse had prime rib, which was over cooked. The atmosphere is like a Denny's. The only really good thing about this place, besides the convenient location after a long day of travel, was the mashed potatoes and the bread.

There are two buffet options at breakfast. The Continental is $9 and the full buffet is $15. The full buffet included: oatmeal, grits, biscuits and gravy, french toast casserole, eggs Benedict, ham, bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit, cereal & breads. The price wasn't awful but the quality was surprisingly bad. I had no idea you could screw up oatmeal. Dry eggs, dry ham, greasy French toast but the eggs Benedict took the award for gross. They were swimming in grease. I scooped one out and could not bit through the muffin. I couldn't even cut it with a knife. The menu is not available until after 10am. The server was ok. All I wanted was water refills but it took awhile. The place was pretty warm to, as in uncomfortably so. Save $15 and grab a bannana in the gift shop.

One of the most overpriced breakfast buffets with so so food. Once was enough.

We had the buffet breakfast and it was OK. A varied menu with nearly everything you might want. Of coarse like every food item in Alaska, it was rather pricey. That's to be expected for being this north, I suppose.

Ordered off the menu for breakfast. Was a little slow but food was good. Had omelette, cottage cheese, and toast. Took a little while for staff to notice me sitting there, but once they did he did a very nice job.

Northern Latitudes is one of two restaurants at the Westmark Hotel, sharing menu and staff. The menu is small and the wine list limited. We were there for dinner on a Sunday. The place was half empty. The fish was dry and the steak scorched. The ice cream was good. The service was slow and the server not very knowledgeable. The two stars are strictly in comparison to the other places in town.
