Dinner, drinks, concerts, & movies- there is always something going on at the Blue Loon. Looks pretty rustic from the outside (I think it is an old airplane hanger) but the inside is cool pub atmosphere. The halibut sandwiches are really good, as are the sweet potato fries. A one screen theatre plays a new movie every week, some mainstream and some independent. On some weeknights you can get a beer, dinner, and movie ticket for $12, can't beat that! They also have DJ nights with various genres of music, and also serve as a venue for national touring acts, but I have yet to check any of those out.

Fun time, neat atmosphere but food took over an hour (simple nachos and quesadilla) and seating is difficult and servers are seriously hard to come by. We had a good time, though.

Definitely NOT wheelchair accessible!! First the good - great burger...a full pounder...great sweet potato fries...passable drinks, nothing to write home about. The Bad - Terrible access from parking lot, all but 5 or 6 tables are bistro with table tops at about my hair level and of the 5 or 6 regular tables all but one are on a 10 a 12 platform with no ramp. My friends sat in a booth eating at the table...I sat in my wheelchair eating from a plate on the booth seat that was still at eye level. The only thing keeping me from giving it 1 to 0 stars was the fact I could have a beer and watch an outstanding movie in the theater area at the back of the dining room. Definitely a niche establishment, but we won't be going back again.

The chicken nachos here are excellent. Good sized movie theater makes it someplace different to go watch a film. I plan to come back soon to check out the nightlife.

the food is decent, the staff is friendly. the music venue was REALLY hot and stuffy inside, but that is my only complaint. this is a really good place to catch a live concert for a national touring act - very unique!
