The food took over an hour, our waiter didn't speak to us after taking out order and dropping off the check and the few times he did was extremely rude. And another waiter was continually cursing as he walked by. The food was absolutely inedible. My steak was impossible to cut and completely black. The cheese fries had been sitting in the window for 20 minutes and was hard and cold. When we did get our food it was only half our order. We waited longer for our other food. I wouldn't bother if you want your food to come that same day or have children. We will not be back.

I didn't know what to expect when we ate here, but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is exciting and it was the first time I've ever been to a place where you eat as much peanuts as you please and just throw the shells on the floor, LOL. The rolls with the cinnamon butter are amazing and the snake bites were delicious! Everything was going so well until I received my entree... I ordered half BBQ chicken and steak and they were just OK. They didn't explode my taste buds like everything else did. I think I was expecting more because how much I fell in love with the atmosphere, the rolls, and the appetizers. All in all I would eat there again, but probably just for the bread, strawberry cooler drink, and appetizers though! I look forward to the south location to open up soon.

I try this place roughly one month ago around Thanksgiving 2014. I had a mediocre ribeye steak, nothing spectacular or outstanding. My date had a pulled pork sandwich which she really enjoyed. I don't much care for the call ahead seating. I was not sure how it works. When I started the process I called early to make reservations and they said they didn't do reservations but she would put me on a list to remind herself to put me on a different list later and then I called before I left for dinner and they had no idea what I was talking about when I told them about the multiple lists.

Yeeeeehhhhawwwww! The free peanuts and hot delicious bread is what everyone goes there for! Just kidding. No seriously their bread is sooo good. I been here many time. Overall their customer service is excellent. Food is always on point. Well i stick to ordering the same items such as beef kabob and ribs. The atmosphere is great. Perfect for families and kids. Got to love the peanut shells all over the floor. Advice. Don't eat too much of the free bread or else you will be stuff once your food comes. It's so good though! Watch for the yeehaw dance they do.

Called in for getting on the waiting list to be seated. 30 mins later I was in. Took over an hour to get our food. I ordered the Road Kill (chopped steak). It was beyond salty! Had a sweet potato for a side and it was the smallest sweet potato EVER! Don't order the cheese fries! For $8.99, I would have expected more than half the size of my plate. SMH! I don't know if was the waitress that we had but service was horrible. Has to ask for rolls, straws, and refills on our drinks. Overall, I wasn't impressed with my first experience at the Texas Roadhouse.

So my husband and I have been twice. The first time was great, the ribs fell off the bone the strawberry margarita was delicious and our server was great! The second time the ribs were still good but my husband loves the sweet potatoes and they were out. Our server spent most of her time telling us how poor she was and she had to raise 3 boys. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hardened to the plight of the single mother trying to make ends meet but I felt a little cornered in my booth. My husband disagree on this matter, but I'm writing the review so here goes.... I do not enjoy the line dancing and the incessant birthday songs screamed across the restaurant... Perhaps there was a time and a place for this, but I'm pretty sure it's back in the 90's with servers wearing flair during the hay day of the casual family sit down restaurant. If you're going to go, get the ribs!

Prices wouldn't be so bad if the service wasn't so crappy... didn't have a good time the first time I was there may be ill give it another try in the future. My steak was messed up and had to wait for my whole order to be remade while the others at my party ate instead of them just taken the steak back that they completely overcooked I didn't even want it anymore :/ also they didn't have bread that day.... my drink was good though which is why I gave 2 stars.

I am from Texas and they have a Texas Roadhouse. I am visiting Alaska and I had nothing but irresponsible and very very poor customer service. They need proper training! Everytime I visit Alaska nothing but rudeness. The southern hospitality was a joke. My first time being there in this Texas Roadhouse makes me want to go home and eat there. The bread that I love so much with the butter was not served, when I asked for management I had to get them myself since we were waiting for 10 minutes! The 23 dollar steak we ordered was also over cooked and we still had to pay damn near full price for the steak we didn't even want anymore. And the server was rude. Not to mention being accused of having a fake ID. I am never going in there again. I will stick to my hometown service thank you!

This place is pretty bad. When we showed up, we were told it would be 10-15 minutes for a table. It took half an hour to get seated. That's about how the entire meal went. It took forever to get appetizers, the drinks were equally as slow. The meals took awhile as well. When my meal showed up, it was barely warm. I ended up with overcooked, cold chicken, and decently cooked ribs that were... Cold... Tastewise, it's about what you would expect from a chain restaurant. Not terrible, but not exactly tasty. I don't believe I would give this place a second shot. We have far better options around Anchorage.

Went in at 8pm. 15 minute wait, had to wait outside because the music in the waiting area was on full blast. Quick summary; besides being out of pork, good getting out late, finding hair in the food, getting cold chili, and empty ketchup and stake sauce bottles at the table, this place is ok. Elaborate; I've been to Texas Roadhouse numerous times in multiple states, this one is worse by far. The server we got was actually good, he got the right orders, and stayed on top of making sure things were done right. We couldn't order pork because apparently they were out of it after only being open for two weeks. We ordered a blooming onion for an appetizer, which ended up not coming out until right before we got our food( 4 servings of bread later). There must have been something wrong with the kitchen because they kept sending overly friendly girls to our table to try to distract us with questions that didn't go anywhere because we weren't buying it. The manager had to come over and apologize and try to explain that the food doesn't normally take this long. They finally brought the food out, one order had an obviously long black hair in it, which was pointed out to one of the 3 supervisors that come to your table every 2 minutes. That got replaced 15 minutes later. All the chilis were room temp, as if straight from the can, into your plate(not worth fussing to the waiter because we were there for an hour and a half till we got our food). Both the chicken and the steaks were under cooked. Asked 3 different girl waiters that stopped by to chat, to get some stake sauce and ketchup, but they didn't bring it till we got the check. $25 a person minimum on our bill, total bill was over $150 for 5 people; not worth dealing with the overstaffed useless employes. They gave us 3 coupons for a free appetizer to split between 5 people. Big effing woop. Not worth it, don't waste your money coming here.

Staff was great, friendly enough (considering we were there for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary.) The bread and butter before the meal was actually amazing, and the drinks were good. The noise level was somewhat bothersome, but it's kind of to be expected in a restaurant like this. Ordering took a bit of time, considering the size of the party. The food took forever to come to our table, it wasn't even hot when it got there. It tasted good as we were eating it, but later everyone who had eaten at our table got horribly sick. I'm not sure if maybe it was an off day, or they had new people they were training and things weren't being looked after properly over what. But, honestly, I wouldn't imagine going back there after the issues we had with everything.

Bad a$$ bread rolls and frozen margaritas. I am a fan of their sirloin steak but I'm sure the steak expert would always say somewhere else is better. They couldn't convince me though. I have also had great service of the dozen times I have been there. I would ALWAYS recommend doing the call ahead seating before u go so you wait will b 5 mins instead of 1 hr.

From their beanless chili to the ketchup marinated steak "kabobs" We had great service but the food was atrocious. The only redeeming part about this is the cinnamon butter and "homemade" rolls. We will NEVER go back here. Save yourself from the headache and wasted money.

I'm a big fan of this place and I'm normally not of chains. Had the pulled pork sandwich which was delicious!!! Drink never went empty which says alot based on how jam packed it was the night I was there. Very friendly service... they make it seem like they're really happy you're eating there and you're not just another transaction for them. The only downfall is the lack of seating in the waiting area when it gets super busy. We waited about 45 minutes and with my rowdy toddler, having to hold him while standing made for a very impatient baby.

  • Nasha W.

Had a yummy steak kabbob.....but when I got it it didn't look like a kabbob but more of a bunch of kabbob pieces everywhere so I was a bit perplexed. Despite this our food was pretty good and the peach tea vodka was awesome!

Always a decent place to go. Gets 3 for last night because the chicken tender breaded part was kind of undercooked and I had some really gnarly pieces of chicken. The sides were good and the waitress was excellent. I never leave hungry or unhappy.

I love Texas Roadhouse as a chain. The only reason I'm giving it a star at all is that my group got their food. I called ahead and they hadn't prepared for our seating at all like they said they would. It took almost 20 minutes to get our drinks. Our food order came out but almost everything was wrong (I.e. Over cooked or wrong thing all together). Refills took longer than our first drinks. Getting a bill split was like raising the dead with voodoo magic. It took forever and hurt a lot trying. Worst experience I've ever had at my second favorite chain.

So I was reluctant to try this place with all of its bad reviews but decided id have to find out for myself, and have to tell you I'm glad I did! Steaks were cooked to perfection even asked us to check if they were cooked to our satisfaction before letting us enjoy. I started off with a freezing ice cold beer and a blooming onion that blew outbacks out of the water! When the main coarse came threw I was waiting to see how small my sweet potato was going to be after reading all the other reviews to see a giant that took half the plate! I am satisfied and will definitely return

My husband and I had been driving by this restaurant and finally decided to stop in. If you've never been in before, it's somewhat overwhelming and the waiting/seating situation seems confusing sometimes. However, this place has mastered the lost art of good customer service! The staff seems to actually care about the customers and tho I've only had the chicken Caesar salad, it's amazing! REAL grilled chicken and the dressing is delicious! The size of the salad is more than I can eat as well, just don't fill up on the awesome bread and sweet butter they bring out first.

We came here hoping that it would be really good food. My husband and I have both eaten at Texas Roadhouses before and enjoyed them. Neither of us were happy here though. The two drinks that I had were very good and our server, Craig, was really great. Now, for the bad, the salad was extremely over saturated in dressing. My pork was too dry, and the fries didn't have enough seasoning and were soggy almost. I got a brownie with ice cream and the brownie tasted like something you could pick up at walmart. Nothing worth 6 bucks, in my opinion. My husband said his ribs weren't good. He didn't like the barbecue sauce, he did like his rice though. I know the restaurant is normally loud, but we also didn't like that. The people and the music made me (who has a small voice) have to yell to just barely be heard. I won't be coming back here again.

Went yesterday with a friend. I called in to get ahead and where seated within 5-10 minutes from arriving. The waitress was super sweet and tentative. Food prices and food on General where enormous. We will be coming back

Wonderful!!!! Finally a great meal in Anchorage. I have had a hit or miss summer when eating out. From the rolls with honey butter to the fresh salad, hearty soda's, to the tremendous sirloin steak! Two thumbs up from me! I will be back, several times! I especially liked the honoring way that they portrayed the American Indian on the West wall. Thank you!

  • Janiece L.

The food and drinks were great and out server L.A. was awesome! The only reason for 3 stars was the employees who were obviously clocked out liked to hang around which isn't a problem other than them going behind the counter in their street clothes standing and hanging around the food that's supposed to be served. I was a little disgusted when I saw a girl take off her hat (not a uniform) and played with her hair around the food. I'm pretty sure that's unsanitary and again some policy. That's the only thing that should be fixed.

Easily the best steak in town at a reasonable price. It's quite noisy inside, so if you want a romantic, intimate dinner, find somewhere else. But, if you want a tasty steak and great ribs, definitely go!!!

  • Florence B.

Every time we've gone, the food has been on point. The only thing is, it's incredibly loud. I can barely hear my husband speak to me from across the table. And there seems to be far too much going on staff-wise. They're always screaming or yelling or dancing. I don't know. I come for the food, not the shenanigans.

Not sure what these other people are complaining about, I've been three times now and nothing but excellent service and good food. Sure, it's not a 5 Star Restaurant but for the type of Restaurant it is, it blows away TGIF, Lonestar, Cattle Company, Applebee's, Outback and every other place in this class of Restaurants. Try it for yourself. I've been waiting a long time for them to arrive in Alaska.

We havent had a bad experience here. The food is always hot & tasty. The steaks are cooked exactly how you like and there's no issue or tension if you send it back. (A friend of mine did it) and the portions are huge. But the steak prices can be a bit shocking. Im not a drinker, but I've heard good things about their mixed drinks. I recommend the chicken fried steak with brown gravy on the side. However; the service is lacking and their hours suck. I can only imagine its because the place is so busy.

It's a Texas Roadhouse. It's a decent chain, and it's the first place I've eaten at in a long time that gave me an actual rare steak. I always order rare, and will only send the steak back if it's medium or worse. I usually get medium rare, but like restaurant medium rare that is almost medium. So my expectation has become a slightly overcooked medium rare. When I ate at Roadhouse for me and my wife's 13th anniversary and I actually got a rare steak, it was a very pleasant surprise.

My family and I have been to this place many, many times since it opened. The food is good, especially for the prices. (For comparable food you'll pay much more at other places around town.) I love the Caesar Salad and order it every time, either as a side or as the entree. My sister in law loves the steak tips and my brother in law loves the pulled pork. They have the BEST complimentary bread and cinnamon butter. The servers are normally polite and wait times are usually quick if you take advantage of their awesome call ahead seating. Only ever had one bad experience with a terrible hostess and a very frazzled waitress, we ended up waiting an excessive amount of time to be talked to or to place our orders, and we had to request our food to go. We didn't plan on complaining to the manager or anything, but the owner heard we seemed upset, he came out and talked to us, apologized, and he took care of our entire party's bill. (Not a small bill, either, we had 6 people there.) I thought that was really nice. Tips: It's very loud, especially when they have a birthday in the house (which is basically every time we've gone) so if you're sensitive to noise it might not be the best fit. And obviously don't go here if you have a peanut allergy. Overall, it's a great place and I would recommend it to everyone.

I love to find 'special' restaurants for my favorite foodie desires. Texas Roadhouse on Muldoon has been a staple for my family when shopping in Anchorage since it opened, but no more. Our last three visits have produced sub-par food and minimal service. Yesterday's visit was the worst. Even the ribs were below Texas Roadhouse standards! I like a good BBQ. I like great grilled steaks, chicken, and ribs and I'll pay $20-30 to get them. My 'BBQ' chicken yesterday had been microwaved - no grill marks or crusted outer layer - just spongy chicken with room temperature BBQ sauce slathered over the top. The 'replacement' chicken breast arrived after I completed my sides and extra peanuts! I'm on a new hunt for a credible grilled meat establishment in Anchorage. Texas Roadhouse, yesterday was your last chance with my family.

I stopped in to the Takatnu location with my sister. I wasn't hungry so I just ordered a Vodka Cranberry and the drink was so freaking tiny. Hilarious Then they brought my sister her chicken wings and the dip looked all watery. It turns out they gave her horseradish instead of blue Cheese. We didn't see the waitress again but someone else changed it out.

I've watched the reviews about this place since they opened, and I was concerned since the highs and lows look like my last EKG. I was a little apprehensive, but decided to give it a fair shot. Peanuts on the table. Very Billy Bob cliche', but the kind of corniness I enjoy. My server Carlie, was super nice, friendly, and helpful. Lots to choose from, but she steered me in the right direction. I ordered the 10 oz. prime rib. Turns out that's her dad's favorite! A little leery that my meat would be a precooked slice that was just reheated, I asked her if it was cut to order. To my surprise, it was! What a pleasant surprise at noon. Another challenge...rare, and another..."do you have soy sauce?" Jus is too wimpy for me, and soy sauce brings out the umami in the beef. She shows up with a dish of shoyu. Win! My cow arrives perfectly cooked. I would put it up against any high end steak joint in town. What a great experience!

Snake bites!!!! Omg!!! They are amazing. Honestly I wasn't expecting much from this place but it was great. The pulled pork is also amazeballs!

My first time coming here and compared to the service you get at other restaurants, this place had THE nicest hostess seating us and our waitress was very friendly and totally on top of our refills (which rates big in my book). The food was pretty good. I thought my husbands salad was really good. I can't wait to come back and bring the kids next time. It is loud in there, and this might be the only place I can comfortably bring my overly loud 5 year old who has no volume control.

  • Jamie O.

My boyfriend and I went here with our young son one night for dinner. The wait wasn't long which made me happy, but the place is so loud I practically had to yell my order to the server. When we were seated at our table I actually had to ask the server to remove someone the extra crap on the table( drink menus, dessert menu, spice rack, bucket of peanuts) so that we had a comfortable amount of room on the table. The food was delectable but I couldn't enjoy a conversation with my food because again I could hardly hear. I think I would return but maybe on a slow night.

When the best thing about your visit are the rolls you get for free, there's a problem. Though, the rolls are really good. The service and food quality, though, were seriously lacking. That was a little surprising since there was a rather long wait and the place is always crowded (though it's prime location right outside the Muldoon gate on JBER is definitely a contributing factor). I went because I miss Sweet Tea. I won't be back.

I decided to come to the second and final Texas Roadhouse in Alaska... Because the other one was THE bomb dot com. Also the first Texas Roadhouse I went to, in Union City, CA, was just as awesome. This one was... A little different. Went here with my sister who had never been to Texas Roadhouse, and it was a sunny and hot day (by Alaska standards... It was 62), so we decided to sit in the outdoor section. Only Alaskans would sit outside at a restaurant in the low 60s with a breeze. The inside was a complete madhouse, so we hiked our way through the maze of tables and booths to the patio. We managed to make it through the cacophony of screaming children and roaring laughter of gigantic 'Murican dining folk gorging themselves on copious amounts of the traditional food of the United State of Texas. Everything they served was awesome, they just forgot some stuff, and it seemed like there was only one waitress working the entire outside section and she was in complete disarray the entire time we were there. They forgot the bread and the appetizer took 5ever to get there, so there's the one star taken off. I would take off half a star but Yelp is dumb as a box of rocks and doesn't do a fraction based rating system. SO HERE. 9/10 (or 4.5 out of 5) just for the forgetfulness. Been to three Texas Roadhouses, and the overall score when combined is 29/30. That, my friends, is pretty damn good. You always walk away from Texas Roadhouse with enough food for a meal the next day, so you really get two meals for the price of one. Side note: bleu cheese is literally the second worst food in the world, sitting closely behind cilantro. I thought I'd give bleu cheese another try at this Texas Roadhouse and, well, let's just say 2/10 would not bang. Never again. Pls no.

Great customer service. Food was pretty good, could have been warmer. Steak a little under seasoned and their steak kabobs a little over-marinated in vinegar but other than that, pretty good.

  • Tammy G.

Super Salty. But according to my Texan friends, that's how they do things in Texas?? The ribs were really good. My hubby said the burgers were good too. Went back and brought the kids. Still salty as all get out, but the ribs were meaty. Had the mashed potatoes with white gravy! Yum. And those cactus bites are quite good as well. Prices aren't bad. Loud and fun.

  • Brennen L.

After trying TRH again this time at the south side location, I have to give it a lower rating. Food is generic, mashed potatoes are luke warm and it made me a little sick. I'm not going to go back again considering most everything there can be made better at home or other restaurants already have the same items but better. I'm never a bitter reviewer or a picky eater at all but the food is not worth it. The service/waiting was good if thats the only positive I had.

  • Jesse H.

This place was pretty cool! Good rolls and they really cook to your liking unlike other places that ask then cook the steak all the way through! I was good surprised by the ending price too, about $50.00 for two.

I have been to several Texas road house in Texas, Nebraska, Maryland, and this one in Anchorage. This restaurant is new in the area and management is probably get the kinks worked out, but the food and service was mediocre. The smokehouse burger was too salty and greasy. Steak was cold when I got it and the cactus blossom was really oily. The service was just ok, I guess I have been accustomed to attentive and friendly servers from other Texas roadhouse I've visited.

Its a typical chain restaurant. Food is average and nothing spectacular. Waiting service is hit or miss depending on the day or server.

  • Jack S.

Very good prime rib!!! Worth every penny I have also had the filet here and it was awesome too. The bread they provide just as you are seated with cinnamon butter is wonderful. This is a chain so there are some issues. Frozen vegetables served with the meal and too often the salad is overpriced with ehhh lettuce. Fresh lettuce is a pet peeve of mine. Prices aren't too bad for the good service and good food. Someone had a birthday next to us and that was fun to watch. The servers line dance once in a while and I ALMOST FORGOT. PEANUTS!!!!! You can crunch peanuts from the moment you walk in and are waiting to be seated all through dinner as you get a bucket of them at your table. I have been 3 or 4 times and look forward to going back!!!

This place knows how to have fun AND they care about your food experience. I've always been treated like a valued customer here. They make perfect steaks and kids just love the dancing and Tv's. If you have even a small complaint about your food, the management here really wants to make it right. I know some people are always going to complain when a new place opens, but give them a break! It takes a little while to work out the kinks. This place gives nice servings for the money and you will enjoy your dinner!

I've always been a fan of Texas Roadhouse. This location always has friendly bartenders and hostesses. The food is delicious (tried not to get too many things deep fried). I recommend the Roadie if you're looking for a superb Margarita. The steaks are juicy and the music is Texas Country! A very underrepresented genre- not just any old country. Oh and of course you have to throw your peanut shells on the ground or else why come here at all?! #TexasForevet

For the most part I only go here if it's the only thing I'm feeling or if I tired of everything else. The staff is mostly friendly, the food has its moments, and cleanliness is hit and miss. Almost always busy useless you get there RIGHT after they open. After being open for as long as they have now I have to say they have only improved a small amount.

  • Manny W.

Chain restaurant in all its glory. No beef ribs on the menu and they have the nerve to put Texas in the name. Salty pork ribs and steak. Service was goid but slow. Not worth the wait. Go to Cattle Company instead.

  • Caleb J.

I've visited 4 times since they opened. Overall, very good experiences. Good food, great prime rib. My only gripe is with the call ahead seating. I have done call ahead seating 3 times, arrived on time for these every time, and every time had to wait at least 15 minutes. Somebody needs to get a better clock. Other than that, I like this place.

  • Travis-Tiyah S.

I must start with the rolls!!! Man, the rolls! They are DELISH! Last time I had the Portobello Mushroom Chicken with veggies and mashed potatoes. Wife had Smothered Chicken with gravy on the side with a salad and baked potato. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!!! Did I mention the rolls?!?!?

  • Susie G.

Ok... Just opened... Had a good time. Best ribs in Anchorage! Wait staff efficient. Prices good. Food was good. Beer was good. Party of 9 and we all had fun. Did I mention they dance every 30-45 minutes. Wait was short....

  • Fre W.

Ate here two times already and they have the best conplimentary breads, even better than Cattle Company. The first time we visited, we had an alright experience. We waited an hour for our food because they were very short staffed in the kitchen with only one person who was backed up with orders. Waiter made up for it by keepin us updated and entertained. Second time around was much better. Made sure to call ahead to see if there was a waiting time and get an estimate of how busy they were. This time service was much faster and had an overall great experience. I would really recommend eating here and reasonable prices.

This place is nasty. Check your food there is probably hair! We ordered $75 worth of food and two of us had HAIR IN OUR FOOD. They didn't even do anything no discount, no coupon, no care. My father in laws steak was NOT 16 ounces, the 10 ounce in the fridge was bigger. This place is overrated. We have eaten all around the world, never had something like that happen! Gross. So let's just say they lost five customers. Were local to Alaska and we'll stick to someplace else.

  • ELIZABETH C.

The only thing this place has going for them, is the buttered corn. A serious disappointment since the line was out the door! The McRib from McDonald's taste better than this place. Lucky for me I was able to wash the food down with a sangria. If you want steak you're better off grilling at home.

Day 2 of opening! It will only get better if you are from Texas and notice something's aren't the way it is as in Texas. So, I offered some advice for future patrons. For example; the sweet potato, it doesn't come prepped with the cinnamon sugar on top. So I asked for brown sugar and cinnamon, and mixed it around then poured it on. I showed the waiter/waitress how to do it just in case if they run into that situation in the future. Other than that, the food is great, the ambience is great, TVs everywhere! DONT BE AFRAID to toss peanuts on the floor! It's tradition! Lastly, if you are from Alaska, as looking for Alaskan beers, sorry. No Alaskan beers. I will be coming back...

It's probably obvious to everyone that this is a "meat" place! Still, my vegetarian spouse is always a good sport and can almost always find something on the menu. The Texas Roadhouse has a "County Veg Plate" on the menu. After discussing the options with our server and finding that nearly everything including the baked potato is cooked in bacon grease, the only option was this "Country Veg Plate" that consists of 4 side dishes. But there are only 3 sides that are vegetarian - corn, vegetables, and salad. With this entre you can have only one salad! Everything about this dish was poor! Vegetables were cooked carrots & broccoli, all of which were mostly raw. I had a great meal - smokehouse burger with fries. Bottom line - leave your vegetarian friends at home!

Came here around 6:30 on a Thursday night. Called ahead and waited about 20 min to get a table. I was quite happy with the experience. There were peanuts everywhere, which kept my daughter busy. Our server was super nice. The rolls with cinnamon butter were delish, even my daughter ate them. Fried pickles for the appetizer were meh. For dinner i ordered sirloin steak cooked medium with a side salad and a baked potato- they were out of sweet potatoes at the time :( the steak was great! Better than cattle company and the other steak house chains. My husband got catfish- he didn't like them that much- but liked the fries. He said he would get steak next time. All in all service was great, food was good, we will come back for sure!

Outstanding food as well as great service. Melissa gave us the best service that we've had since coming to Alaska. Steak was done exactly as I asked for it and my wife's chicken was juicy and just falling off the bone. The rolls are the best anywhere.

Great steaks and burgers. Friendly, attentive service. We sit at the bar to avoid the wait for a table. Tons of big screens, would be a good spot to catch a game. The atmosphere may not be for everyone ... it's busy, a bit noisy, and they really work on an upbeat, "fun" experience... they lead sections in cheers for birthdays and anniversaries, and the wait staff stops what they're doing for a quick line dance a few times an hour. I like it. You'll get a more refined atmosphere at Jens, Sullivans, Club Paris, etc, but not a better steak. So snobs beware, everyone else, give it a shot!

It's a chain. Nothing special. The food is mediocre at best. 5 visits and I've only walked away content once. Never got sick, but it isn't phenomenal.

We stopped in last Saturday for the first time. We tried the chicken, ribs, and double pork chop, with mashed potatoes and salad and corn. The ribs and the pork chops were totally outstanding, among the best we have had. The mashed potatoes and salad were great. The corn was mushy. All three stages of service were outstanding. We are definitely going back, and are looking forward to it.

We tried the call ahead service, it was loud on their end and hard to hear the girl, put me on hold for 5 mins and had to listen to crappy advertisement for the roadhouse and was given a number to check in with. When we arrived at the restaurant and gave the number we were not on the list. The girl gave us someone else's number thinking they put it under my first name instead of last. Then while waiting they called us over the intercom and the pager didn't vibrate. The number on the ticket they had was something completely different. We got seated the guy took our drink order and said he would be back. He came back and took our food order. Our appetizer came out before we even got our drinks. The chicken wings were cold and dry like they had been sitting under a heat lamp, same with potato skins. Steak was ok. Nothing really special. Cream gravy for chicken friend chicken tasted funny. Rolls were too sweet. Took the server forever to come back. Had to sit without drink for 15 mins before he came back. Both the wife and I ended up with upset stomachs afterward. And a little pricey. Probably won't be going back.
