After navigating a poorly designed parking lot I went into Quizno's and got in line for my first -ever visit to this store. The Older, blonde lady (who didn't have a name tag on) who was taking orders and prepping the bread was loud, rude and obnoxious. The gentleman that was placing his order at the time had a speech impediment and seemed to be having a bit of a challenge ordering his sandwiches. The older blonde lady got louder and ruder while making him explain his order repeatedly, then took advantage of the opportunity to loudly educate him on how he needed to place his order so she knew what he meant. The next gentleman placed his order and the older blonde lady loudly prompted him for information then explained how he should be ordering. The gentleman explained that he wasn't sure what she meant and he was ordering for someone else then quietly moved aside. OBL forgot to ask him if he wanted tomato on his sandwich so she yelled at him to inquire. Next a cute young lady ordered a flatbread and a salad and received no interrogation and moved appropriately to the side. Next, I ordered a large chicken carbonara sandwich. The older blonde lady said, "You're losing weight today, huh?", creating a terribly awkward and insulting situation. I walked out without lunch. The place is also not as clean as I'd expected. The parking and the staff are very hard to deal with and certainly not worth my time in the future.

Went here yesterday and I was in heaven! I ordered their limited time "Lobster Roll". Oh man...folks, this is so dang good. I chose the 'chipotle-something' bread which had a reddish hue to it. It was a great choice to pair with the light, refreshing lobster salad. It was just perfect chunks of lobster (pretty big chunks, I thought!) with a light citrusy dressing. It smelled really fresh, I even tried sniffing one of the lobster pieces. Lol. They put the right amount of shredded iceberg lettuce on it too (A LOT)..plus asked if I wanted tomatoes...Yes, get it on this sandwich. And onions too, the fresh ones. This sandwich was like something you'd get in Maryland or something. Try this before it's gone, I'm so glad I did. They were generous with the lobster too, I liked that. All the employees there were friendly too and the cashier made sure to welcome you and say goodbye as well. Also don't forget their lip puckering raspberry lemonade, it's good! Double Cheese Prime Rib sandwich is really good too, I usually get this - with Au Jus to dip in. Just ask them for it, they have it. :)

Living in Kenai, Quiznos is always a stop on my travels to Anchorage. I became a fan while in college at UAA preferring to go off campus and get a toasted sub than deal with the on campus Subway (fresh and Subway only go together on their ads). Anyway, this one is close to my grandfather's house and I've eaten here a few times now. Most recently on Labor Day. It was quiet for the lunch hour and we were served right away with two very helpful and seemingly happy employees. Food was out and ready before we were done paying. There were a few dirty tables, but overall the place was clean and in good order. I like the convenience and service and will gladly stop in on my next visit to the "big city."

Quiznos is my favorite sandwich shop here in Alaska. I've been going there for many years now and have always been satisfied with my experiences there. I would have rated them 5/5, however, the last time I went there I wasn't very pleased with the service. It started out with waiting in line behind someone getting orders done for his coworkers back at his work. The guy making the sandwiches started to put cheese on one of the many sandwiches this man was ordering, but the man stopped him saying he didn't need cheese on that sandwich. I watched as the guy peeled the cheese slices off of the sandwich after it had been on the sandwich for several seconds. He proceeded to put the cheese back in the tray for use on another sandwich instead of throwing it away (as instructed by another woman employee). When it was my turn to order I had to order a different sandwich because I did not want that cheese to be placed on my sandwich. I can't tell you which employee did this because they've stopped wearing name tags at this Quiznos. Kind of disgusting that they couldn't just throw away the 4 pieces of cheese so that cross-contamination wouldn't occur with people who have allergies with certain foods (like myself). People expect fresh food when you advertise having fresh food.

I prefer Quiznos over Subway any day. I won't leave smelling like crap like you do at Subway. I've been here multiple times but this was prob the worst visits of them all. The cleanliness of the place wasn't that great, I was sitting on crumbs and what looked like smear marks from grease? The tables needed to be wiped down too. It wasn't busy there at all, the employees just didn't want to do anything, you could tell but they were friendly. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Blue sandwich this time. It was good but I prefer more flavor, bold or spicy, the bread seemed to have more flavor than the sandwich itself. I also love coming here cause they always have broccoli cheese soup (my favorite soup) but this visit it tasted like watered down cheese with hints of broccoli. I ate it anyway cause like I said it's my favorite and I was hungry and cold. Just like all fast food restaurants, it's hit or miss.

I'll eat here 50% of the time I walk in. That's because it's only clean 50% of the time.
