If you enjoy waiting an hour and a half for your pizza to get to your house (which for us happens to be 3.8 miles away from the pizza place) then this most certainly is the place for you. Also if you enjoy rude people answering the phone it's a good chance you'll get what you're looking for here as well. We've ordered from here 4 times now, three times we've had rude people answer the phone and their delivery is ALWAYS slow. The pizza is okay, but not worth what we deal with. We won't be ordering from here again.

I ordered a thin crust but what I ended up with was a pan style. I also ordered half and half but it seemed like 1/6 veggies and 5/6 meat. I am a vegetarian and am now totally disappointed.

The pizza is greatly good and extra cheesy! They will accommodate and substitute non-dairy cheese if you bring your own in. The place is run down and old, but fairly kid friendly. Reminds me of the pizza parlors from childhood. The blond waitress is wonderful and funny! Been there forever, girl next door type. But the new gal! Ugh! Worst waitress ever!

We've always placed our order for delivery except one time we dined in. Whether we are in or at home, the customer service is great! Order taking is very quick and accurate. We've never had an order incorrect! The prices make my wallet smile considering the quantity and our food is always pipping hot when it arrives at our door! This is my go to Pizza joint!!

Until recently, this was our default pizza place for delivery. Lately though, the quality has dropped off. Delivery times have gotten longer (almost 2 hrs one time) and the toppings don't match the order. I've never had an issue with dine-in pizza. The place looks dated but the service is good and they don't mess it up. Dine-in but avoid the sketchy delivery.

We have eaten here twice and ordered out a few times. They actually have 18" pizzas not those crummy mediums other places try to pass of as a large. Pizza tastes good but our only complaint (and its the same complaint all the time) is that there just never seems to be enough sauce on the pizza. It's okay but always a tad dry. Service has been friendly and swift when we have dined in. Price is about what you'd expect to pay.

I think this is some of the best pizza in Anchorage and for sure the best on this side of town. My pizza's have always had a great amount of toppings, a ton of delicious cheese, and home-made crust. They have really reasonably priced pitchers and wine, but a slim selection. Delivery is free and the timing is reasonable, about 30ish minutes, with the exception of around 7pm when it's more like and hour, maybe more. I'm not a person who really cares about atmosphere, but for those who do: It was probably nice in the 70's... gold wallpaper and all, but now it's kinda funny. It's casual. OH! once they lost my order when I called for pick-up, so they upped the order to a large from a medium and threw in a beer. That's awesome.

We had no idea what to have for dinner after doing some shopping yesterday afternoon. My sweetheart turned into this little strip mall Ive never been to before & takes me into this pizza place on the corner & my first reaction is WOW! Very retro, nothing fancy & it has a very comfortable atmosphere and feel to it. The menu is simple with a couple of pasta dishes, a salad or 2 and pizza. We had the house pizza. It had canadian bacon, pepperoni, olives & onions. It was SO good. It was no fancy Moosestooth/Beartstooth pizza but it was still so delicious I cant wait to go back or even order takeout from there. Pitchers of beer are only $9.75, glasses of wine are $2.50 and $2.75, not a huge beer list or wine list. Very simple, great prices & great customer service. My boyfriend told me it is one of the oldest restaurants in the Muldoon area. I am curious to know exactly how old this establishment is etc. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

Wife had pizza, I had lasagna...both were good but not great! I had heard a lot of good things about this place over the years but somehow had never eaten there. Now I can say, "Been there, done that!" but wasn't blown away.

I was excited about this place when I came in, because it reminded me of the old school pizza joints in Florida I grew up with -- booths, napkin dispensers, old school menu that was pretty much just pizza, breadsticks, a token salad, and not much else. Cool. The waitress took a few minutes to take our order, but I figured no big deal. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. For 55 minutes. With my antsy, hungry toddler. We had ordered a single pizza. The restaurant was not full. When I finally tracked down our waitress to ask what was going on (she had disappeared), the pizza guy on the line said that he was just making our pizza right then. I told him not to bother. We walked out and got crappy but dependable pizza from Sicily's across the street. It was NOT what I wanted to eat that evening, but I just couldn't spend any more time waiting for the folks at Muldoon Pizza to get their acts together.

Muldoon Pizza is old school pizza at its best. Even the restaurant itself brings you back to the days when your parents took you out to Shakey's for pizza, sodas and video games. Picture Shakey's minus the arcades... Muldoon Pizza is very good, INEXPENSIVE and has consistently friendly service. Favorites: Canadian Bacon & Pineapple Super Special - be hungry Antipasto Salad - feeds 2 or 3 adults easy

I can't remember if a person or newspaper recommended Muldoon Pizza. Had I the ability to recall who or what, I would beg for an explanation for the recommendation. Beg, I tell you. It doesn't take much for a pizza to impress me. Round? Check. Cheese on top? Check. That's it. After trekking from west to east at Friday rush-hour, I was good and hungry and looking forward to eating at this hidden gem. Plenty of parking. No line to get in. Plenty of seating. Appallingly appealing seventies brothel decor. Remember those goddess Diana lamps that heat up and drip "rain" around her immortal form? Check. Red wallpaper with velvet floral burnouts? Check. Garage sale quality oil paintings? Check. On to the pizza. My companion said it was California style pizza since it wasn't Chicago or New York style. I have never heard of California style pizza, but if such a category exists, I'm glad I left the Golden State. Wouldn't want to live in a financially and pizza strapped state, right? The crust was flavorless but of adequate structure to hold the toppings. The melted cheese was an unsual consistency, leading me to question its authenticity as a 100% dairy product. Another oddity was the sauce. Where was it? There may have been a thin veneer, but it was undetectible, even after peeling the cheese from the crust to get a better look. Feeling like I should give it a second taste, I took the leftovers home and gave it the morning after cold pizza test. Nope. Not remotely better than the night before. Much worse cold. Maybe Muldoon Pizza's food, like its decor, harkens back to the brothel days of yore, where one isn't there for the food, if you know what I mean. At least at a brothel you get what you pay for. But a good pizza at Muldoon Pizza? Refund, please.

After a long bike ride from Bird Pt to Girdwood, we wanted a cold beer and a good pizza. We called the Moose's tooth and were told it would be 1 1/2 hours before they could fill a take out order. And this was on a Thursday evening! Then we remembered how much we like the pepperoni and Olive pizza at Muldoon Pizza and we headed for this old favorite of ours. They were pretty busy (it was now 6:30 p.m.) when we seated ourselves at a booth and it seemed to take forever (10 minutes)for the waitress to get to us. After that, it was all good. Ice water was quickly followed by ice cold beer, and it seemed like an blink of an eye our pizza arrived. Heaven, just pure heaven! You won't find expensive micro brews here but they serve a good, honest pizza and draft beer will only set you back $2.50-$3.50 a glass. Our whole bill for a large pizza and four beers was less than $25. How can you beat that?

Want a tasty mouth watering pizza for a family on the East side of Anchorage? We love this place even after years. It is nothing to look at but the family atmosphere . and the friendly bargains for military people is wonderful. They also have take out . Their prices are reasonable and we always look forward to their food!

We learned of Muldoon Pizza through a friend a few years ago and it's been our "go to" pizza place ever since. We normally call in an order and pick it up ourselves so do not have much "delivery service" experience to share with you. We also make a point to pop in for sit down meal. Staff is efficient and thoughtful, always welcoming if you are there for a pickup or sit-down. My husband and I are accustomed to Chicago (please don't assume deep dish) pizza, we like Muldoon's not too sweet red pizza sauce and haven't met a meat topping there we didn't like. The place itself is older but always clean, I can do clean and old but never dirty no matter its age. Reminds us of the Shakey's Pizza of the 70's and 80's.
