I don't know why people are always hating on this location. I have had nothing but great food and great service here. Staff is super nice, food comes quickly and as described, prices are reasonable and location is clean. I much prefer IHOP'S diverse menu over Dennys. Just wish they were open 24 hours. I heart IHOP.

Service was good but the food was nothing to write home about. Waffle was soggy and the steak we ordered tasted funny but I'll give it to the server who brought something different

Ugh. Disaster at ihop. It shouldn't take forever to cook a little breakfast. Constant upsell from wait staff totally annoying. No I don't want a $16 OJ just bring my damn coffee!!

This is a sad place to go for pancakes. For one, the chain serves only fake syrup. (or fake fruit-flavored toppings) Secondly, this local store has been sited before and I doubt has changed anything. I implore anyone who loves IHOP pancakes to try something from Snow City (if you can get in there). Or even try making pancakes from scratch at home (no Bisquick. Though even that can be better than IHOP) With real maple syrup; I predict it will change most who try.

I've come to Ihop three times in my life so I'm no expert. Staff seemed incompetent every time, but hey I'm here for the cakes. I think I'll pass on the next proposed outing. This place can get really busy.

A lil bit slow but the food was good like always. IHop pancakes are the best pancakes I ever had.

Typical ihop. Iheart their pancakes. However this place gets 4 stars because of the service. I have only gone here twice but I have had the same server. She is super sweet and nice, always double checks on the order and always has a smile. She also laughed at my friend when he was trying to put a spoon on my nose, I wish I could remember her name. I went there tonight and it was totally dead. Only suggestion is that when its dead it would be cool if they didn't stick all 4 tables dining in right back to back. It wasn't late enough in the day for them to close off alll of the sections for cleaning. Just like every other ihop but better service. Omnoms away!

Sunday brunch: of course it's going to be busy. But I really expected a little better. Our server did not like her job; that's fine, we all have days like that. But when you have to raise your voice to get her attention as she's whizzing by your table is not cool. We were seated at a decent time, but the food just seemed to take forever to get there. Drink orders were mixed up and took a long time to resolve. The worst part was the cashier who could not figure out how to split orders/or deal with customers in a timely fashion. It seriously must've taken almost a half hour from the time we got in line to pay to the time we went out the door. Not cool.

Kids wanted IHOP. Ok. Tried the IHOP near omalley, parking lot completely full. Ok. Not going to complain about that. Maybe it's a good spot. Kids had their heart set on it so off we go to the midtown location. Well from the one star you know the review is going to be bad so let's start with good stuff. Got seated right away. Server was very pleasant and nice. Free refills on everything to drink. That's great for juice. Then it goes down hill. 99% the kitchen. The best order was my son Ryu with the garden omelette with a side of fruit. Pretty tasty despite the fact I'm a carnivore. My daughter orders the Swedish crepes. She correctly says..these aren't crepes, they were super thin pancakes. I ask for a bit and just about choked. Due to the thinness, it tastes like cheap old short order oil. Uhhh...doused in the sauce it was edible but I would NOT recommend. Finally my order of jumbo smoked sausages and sunny side up eggs. A total disaster!! First I hate when the whites are still completely uncooked. A little bit is fine but not a quarter of it. Hash browns were old and anyone with dentures should avoid. It hurt me to chew it. Finally the sausages. I'm a sucker for good sausage. These were basically smoked hot dogs...yuck!!! To make matters worse, they were cold. As a general rule I NEVER send food back because who know how they can mess with it. I just don't ever go back. But what harm could there be in asking the sausage to be reheated. I asked for a small plate to put the sausage on so I could keep the rest of the meal. I said just microwave it for a few seconds. Well it comes back grilled...same piece. Think about that. Who knows what I did with it...dropped it on the floor, drooled on it, whatever. Sure the heat probably kills everything but yuck. Finally, the sausage comes back nasty blackened and burnt...on one side. Maybe this is reaching but it sure seemed like a middle finger salute for me complaining it was cold and not cooked. This is why I don't send things back. Scratch IHOP from our food circuit. For $37 for three breakfasts, I can do MUCH better!!!!!

IHOP is better than restaurants like Village Inn and Denny's in my opinion but it's still generally subpar. Their breakfast is better than their lunch/dinner options considering that's what they're obviously known for. Service is ok, flavors are average but I will give them props for having the widest variety of breakfast items compared to most all other restaurants. In short, isn't bad but isn't great.

The food was bad. The service was very poor. There is no consistency. Not willing to make things right. Don't waste your time. A five year old can make a better breakfast.

The bacon was gross and cold, sausage was shriveled up and cold, hash browns tasted like shoe leather and cold, the only thing they got right was the eggs and the coffee. Also I have to comment on the price of a glass of milk, $3.68. I can buy a gallon of milk at Carrs for $3.49. WTF!

Haven't been to a Ihop in quite sometime. Thought we would stop in on our last day in Alaska. The food was good but the service was excellent. Amanda was our waitresses name. She was very welcoming to our family. She was sincere in her smile and her eyes lit when she spoke. Needless to say it was an awesome surprise as we were all just whipped out tired. So thank you for the excellent service and brightening our days Amanda

Every time I go to this restaurant, it takes forever to be waited on. When we finally do get waited on, the waitress has no idea what comes on any of the sandwiches or what comes with certain breakfasts. Takes forever to get food and the restaurant is usually very dirty.

Worst experience ever. We just had to get up and leave. Everyone ignored us. We sat at the table for10 minutes w/ all the servers walking right by and complaining. When we left noone even seemed to care. Service reflects management. Was145 pm on 12/8/12 maybe 5 other tables.Ill never eat iHop again.

I totally agree with John's review below. The wait staff is very new and they appear to have a high turnover. That is not necessarily a bad thing, everybody needs a start somewhere. The food is your standard IHOP fair. I got the chicken fired steak last week and it was huge. I have a weakness for the "bad for you" comfort foods. Beware, this place can get very crowded on Sunday mornings.

It's a GREAT Place too Dine at, the only problem I have is that it's always Busy NO MATTER When you go. Unless it's the Week days, pretty much impossible too get into on the Weekend..But I do like the fact that I can have Breakfast anytime I want it..even at 3 in the afternoon...

Everybody knows I-Hop, and when one opened up here I thought I would try it since we don't see to many lower 48 restaurants up here. It has the usual fare of foods that are advertised on television, and for a breakfast it did not suck. It was not great, but it was okay. there were ALOT of waiters/waitress's all were new, and even though service was a little slow, (and it was busy) it was a complete crack-up to watch these kids work in their new surroundings. Lunch menu was okay, I did not try the dinners. You really can't go wrong if you are in the neighborhood and want a quick bite, BUT you may be better off driving to Northern Lights and hitting up the Hogg Brothers. But it will pass....

Long wait for over-priced, bad food and they always get my order wrong and then never check on you again until you're ready to leave. Easier, faster and better to just cook at home.
