Lovely home, lovely hosts and lovely breakfast. Pictures online really don't do the place justice. The home is warm, comfortable, quiet and inviting. The price is also very reasonable for the comfort and personal touch. So much better than the overpriced generic hotels in downtown Anchorage. Our family of 4 stayed very comfortably in the Woodlands suite. Our kids are 12 and 14. The home is quiet and restful as I said earlier, so for families with very young children it may not be the best. The suite has two full/queen size beds in a split level room with dividing curtains. The bathroom even had a walk in dry sauna that we unfortunately never had a chance to use because we were so exhausted from all the beautiful sightseeing we did. My parents stayed in another room and were very comfortable as well. They even have a chair lift for the stairs which made it very helpful for my mother that is handicapped. Breakfast was beautifully set and tasty. A momma and baby moose decided to stroll through the yard and and nibble in the grass right as we sat for breakfast. So perfectly timed we thought maybe they kept them in hiding in the back and released just for effect! We will definitely stay here next time we travel in Alaska!
