Okay...if you're debating trying this place just go. I don't even know where to begin. The food is all homemade. All of it. We ordered the rack of spare ribs...it came with 4 sides. Get the plantains side and the rice and beans, they are literally to die for. All the food was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Service was great. If you're ordering a meat dish, they cook it to order so plan on waiting about 15-20 minutes for your entree. Ordered the cheese flan just to try it. Delicious. It is also homemade. We left with two full containers of leftovers. This meal would easily feed 4 people I can't say enough good about this place. It's family friendly, great food, great service and the total bill with tip was around 55.00. You can't beat it.

It's right up the road from me and after a friend talked well of it I decided to try it. Well worth it. I had the Pechuga Rellena (plantain and sausage stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon) with a side of Mofongo (mashed fried plantain) and beans and rice. All of it was great in large proprtions. Half went home for later. I'll be back.

I really wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars. Upon stepping inside I immediately felt like I was in Miami again with the salsa playing. The restaurant los like a mix between bar and grill meets Texas roadhouse, sort of. The food itself was delicious and the closest I could get to Hispanic food and this is coming from the Dominican's mouth. I was so excited to find they had churrasco, mofongo, Arroz con habichuelas and Puerto Rican rice. We ordered the Churrasco with Arroz con Habichuelas, a side of Tostones (fried plantain) and a side of Mofongo (every Dominican's vice). Our friends had similar plates but with Puerto Rican rice. From what I gathered the food was delicious! The Chimichurri complemented the Churrasco so well and made me feel like I was at home, without having to do the cooking. The Tostones were a bit dry but still enjoyable. You might wonder why the three stars if the food was so delicious. Well service was extremely slow. How can there only be one waittress in a full house? It does not make sense to me. So our delicious food took forever and there was no way she could keep up with refilling our drinks, she was on her own! When our food finally arrived I became so aggravated with the knife situation. I had a butter knife and getting the waitress attention for a proper steak knife was near impossible. When I finally got a "steak knife", it just couldn't get the job done for the Churrasco. It was frustrating to say the least. Also all this time they forgot about the Mofongo and it arrived as we were finishing our dinner. I'll definitely return to try other menu items but I sure hope their service improves. I would love to give this establishment 5 stars.

We ordered the Crazy Pinchos (sp?) and fried turnovers made with chicken. The turnovers were delicious and served with this fancy ketchup mayo concoction. The grilled meats were quite flavorful and SAUCY. Fries were limp and weighed down by the grease but I do not think it mattered much next to the heaping side of mofongo. Definitely a place to go with at least one other person if possible. I saw families there with racks of meat and foil trays full of food. It all looked great. The inside has a great homey feel to it (at least it did on Sunday for dinner) lots of conversations to be heard. We will definitely be returning.

I'll start with my usual disclaimer about most non-US foods: I haven't been to Puerto Rico. I don't know what Puerto Rican food is "supposed" to taste like. I don't know if this is "authentic". (nor do I care) What I do know: it is damn good! Muldoon seems to be EXPLODING lately with tasty, unique restaurants and Crazy Cow is no exception. I came here alone and got a steak dish (sorry, I cannot remember what it is called! I went to look it up but CC does not have a website, apparently) that came with two huge sides. I asked for the steak rare and it was...gasp...actually RARE! It was probably the rarest rare steak I have ever gotten at a restaurant. This is a compliment. They must be crazy confident in their cow. My waiter was extremely friendly and the service was prompt. Only giving them 4 stars because the prices are a bit high. However, most meals seem to be intended for sharing with friends. This is definitely how I'll dine upon my return!

My friend and I have been waiting to give this place a try for a while but timing was always off until last night. Once entered into the restaurant, the area was airy and spacious. We didn't wait long to be seated. There was only one waiter but the night was not too busy, 3 families and a table of 2 and then us. Since this was our first time at the restaurant we asked the waiter what were popular on the menu. I got the Mofongo de camarones (fried plantains in shrimp creole sauce). I forgot the name of the food my friend got (couldn't find menu online) but it was stuffed chicken with bacon wrapped around the chicken and two side orders to choose from. I have to say the food was delicious and the portion was generous for the price stated ($20 for my entrée). It was a lot of food that I could only eat half and saved the other half for another meal. I've had mofongo before (Puerto Rican trip in the past) and this was as good as the ones I've tasted. My friend said she liked her entrée a lot too. There were a few other food we would like to try for sure. I know I'll definitely be coming back. Food, service and price were all good.

Let me start off by saying,"THANK YOU " to the owners! If you are a Foodie, this is one of the joints you need to hit! The food is excellent and the amount you get for the price is UNREAL! My recommendation is the Beef Madness. There were five us, not shy about eating may I proudly add, and still had plenty of food to take home! What a meal $$$$$$$$ The service was phenomenal, very friendly ,cordial, and made you feel welcomed. It was "Money" as Guy Fieri would say! $$$$$$

Excellent food. The portions are ginormous with very generous sides. The staff is very attentive. But the most important part: That food. Very delicious. Prepare your appetite and don't be afraid to try plantain centric dishes, everything aw've had there has been great!

We ate here today and the food was fantastic. We had the pork dinner for three since there were three of us. We still had a ton of leftovers, which I'm not complaining. Everything was fresh and delicious. The pork dinner came with two pounds of pork and a half rack of ribs with four sides for $50. Well worth it as the food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely come back!

This restaurant was highly recommended and honestly, I was disappointed. We ordered the octopus salad and it lacked flavor. I ordered the shrimp mofongo and it lacked seasoning. My boyfriend ordered the churrasco (skirt steak) and it was amazing. My recommendation is to order the grilled meats and stay away from the traditional Puerto Rican dishes.

We checked out this new restaurant. It clearly is a family owned business which I love. You smell the aroma of BBQ before you get to the place. The decor is simple with big tables. We ordered the combo ribs pork chicken sausage. Also the three pounds of fried snapper. They come with four sides you choose. Mashed taters potato fries reg fries rice and beans also a fried plantain side. The order comes out on a huge platter! The meats were hung on a skewer. The fish to our friends dismay was two whole fish eyeball and all. But the taste! Out of this world! The meats were flavored quite well if not a bit salty. The sides were pretty tasty I liked the rice and beans a bit greasy but couldn't stop eating. Warning have extra napkins and a huge huge appetite. One order could easily feed six people. I feel this lil gem will become a popular destination soon!

This place was OK! It wasn't great. It wasn't bad. We went on a Saturday evening. There was only one server, waitress, hostess. She was doing everything and trying to get drinks and buss and take orders. They should have someone else helping her on a Saturday night. The decor and lay out is nice. We ordered the beef madness $68.... It's a combo of half a chicken, sausage, pork, steak. There wasn't much flavor. Sausage and chicken was good. pork was a tad dry and no flavor but mixed with the home barbecue sauce was good. The steak wasn't very good, rubbery and seems to be just smoked and not actually cooked. The Puerto Rican rice wasn't mixed well and we kept getting pockets of salt and that goes for our fries. Fries had sea salt which was over powering. I probably wouldn't order the Beef Madness again. The concept was cool but the meat got cold real fast. Over all it was a lot of food. The waitress tried her best and the effort was there. We probably won't be going back though. It's pricey and the food wasn't great.
