Woohoo, most of the menu is back. In fact, the only things I can see missing are a couple of the sides. Also, the name has changed from Main Street Grill to Main Street Diner. This is once again the best restaurant for many miles. Thank you for bringing back what made you great. Had jalapeno snappers for appetizer. Just a frozen food jalapeno/cream cheese/breading but they were very good. I had a battered and fried haddock fillet. This thing was huge, hanging off the plate with a light perfect breading. My wife had a perfectly cooked medium ribeye steak. It was great! We loved it all. Welcome back!!!

Staff is very friendly. I think they changed cooks . I had one of the best steaks ever here but recently I received a $15 steak that was mostly grizzle and very small for the money. The salad was also wilted and brown :(. Hamburger steaks always a safe bet just specify how you'd like it cooked. Sweet to is very good and the place is immaculate. I haven't eaten here is a while so maybe things have gotten better in the kitchen.

BEST PLACE TO EAT for miles!!!! I've never had a bad experience here their food is great! One time they put the wrong toppings on my pizza but they caught it before it came out I said I didn't mind so they served me that pizza for free and sent me home with another one with the right toppings ALL FOR FREE and there pizza is fantastic! So even when they make mistakes I'm satisfied! Will eat here many times in the future! Great atmosphere! Service! & Food! A++++

This is as good as it gets in this part of WV. Tonight my wife & I had the 2 for $20 sirloin steak dinner which consisted of each of us getting a perfectly cooked 9 oz steak to order which had been previously prepared in a wonderful marinate...one side dish plus a garden salad and a dessert for each of us (in this case...cheese cake). Everything was wonderful. food quality was just below the finest steakhouses which I've eaten in...and that's not bad! They are much better than what you think of as a diner, yet their prices are very reasonable. Two quality steak dinners w/dessert for $20? Where are you going to find that?

Best. Food. Ever! The bread was delicious, served with real butter & the steak was the best we ever had. W can't say anything negative about this place, decor s nice, staff is helpful & the food rocks!

My family went last week for lunch during the week. My husband and I had burgers and our daughter had chicken fingers and mashed potatoes. Everything was homemade and very good. My daughter couldn't get enough of the potatoes! The burgers are a 1/2 pound 2 patties. The bun is perfect. Honestly the best burger I have ever had! Our only complaint was there was only one waitress and it took awhile for lunch. But she was so great it didn't matter!

The service here is good. The staff is so friendly and the food is good. It has a great family friendly atmosphere. The menu is mostly things like pizzas, subs, huge salads, and tasty steaks etc. it's not the healthiest food but it is delicious! It's a local favorite spot for my family and we highly recommend it. It gets packed easily so I recommend going early or making a reservation. It's a popular place :)

Thank God for the Main Street Grill in Slanesville, West Virginia. This is a very small farming community in rural Hampshire County. The Main Street Grill is the only restaurant in Slanesville, but thank God we have this one. The food is amazing. They have a wide variety of traditional American foods as well as comfort foods. The pizza is absolutely delicious. This is the only place I have ever been to where they let the customer inspect every pizza before it goes out the door. The pizza is made to order with fresh, homemade dough. My favorite burger is the "Main St Style", but they have many others to choose from. The burgers are all fresh angus beef. There is a wide variety of appetizers that range from simple fries to Philly Sliders to the Main Street Trio. They have an onion petal that is better than the ones at Outback. They also serve Italian dishes that are to die for. The staff at the Main Street Grill are professional and very friendly. You get a "hello" as soon as you walk in the door. On Saturday's and Sunday's you can see vehicles in the parking lot with license plates from all over the east coast. I would recommend the Main Street Grill to anyone that lives in the area, is passing through or looking for a good place to eat with that country hospitality. I am not an employee of this establishment, only a very satisfied customer.
