The first time I went to Burrito Bar, the food and service was fantastic. On Memorial Day weekend, 2015, I had a really bad experience. Our server was extremely rude and incompetent. I think they were low on ingredients, because the burritos were about 1/4 the size they normally are. They actually brought us our check without ever bringing our food. Returned recently, and things had improved some, and luckily the rude server was not assigned to us. Basically, the music is always great, but the food and service seems to be hit or miss.

A Nice Change of Pace I've hit most of Fayetteville's post paddle dining options and I'm always up for something new. A friend of mine told me how she was dreaming of her Breeze Hill Burrito leftovers while finishing her 50 mile bike ride. Well if the burritos cause you to dream they must be good. We were seated outside in the direct sun. A little hot. I would appreciate some shade and there are shady options. We were served some freshly cooked tortilla chips with a homemade medium hot salsa. The star of the menu are the burritos , but they have appetizers and tacos, too. I ordered the Iron Ring. A BBQ pork stuffed burrito with rice, refried beans, jalapeños, cabbage, cheddar cheese, and crema. The burritos are grilled shut which helped mine stay in one piece. Flavor was great but the presentation was uneventful. I'm use to getting these California style burritos sliced on the bias with a small side and sauce. This adds to the appearance and value IMO. I enjoyed it and I think you will too. They have a bar and had Mothman IPA on special. If your timings right you might luck into some live music. So if you're pie'd out or sandwiched to death tuck into a Breeze Hill Burrito on the other side of the bridge.

Was camping out at New and Gauly Adventures, so I figured I would check this out. The patio is great with a nice view. The music was great and helped make the time pass. Ordered a sweet potato taco and a vegie taco. What I got were two very small tacos on soft corn tortillas. They both had the same toppings and sauce, with neither being very flavorful. Even worse they both fell apart about half way through. I was very disappointed especially for $6. Probably better if you pick something else on the menu, but I would stay away from the vegetarian items. Think about this as more of a place to hang out and have a drink and enjoy the music, probably better food options around.

I've been here twice now. The atmosphere is great, and the food is ok. During my first visit, end of summer/early fall 2013, we waited about 30 minutes for our burritos. No big deal, sure that is a little long, but we were in no hurry and we were relaxing after a day of rock climbing. The burritos were good, the view of the sunset colors was nice, and there was live music. My second visit, May 2014, was not as good. We arrived, got a table immediately, and our drink/food order was taken after about 15 minutes. Our server brought us chips and salsa, and then a refill of chips. We had some drink refills and proceeded to wait another hour until our server came back to the table for drink refills. We had to inquire about our food... Not even an appetizer had shown up yet. 20 more minutes and we had an appetizer. 20 more minutes and we had our food. The burritos were good but our sweet potato fries were cold and mushy. (1hour 40 min to get food) We got a little plate of cheese balls after our food arrived "for the wait", but by then the neglect and dissatisfaction had set in. We were told that the kitchen was backed up, but we couldn't see much of anything but beers being brought to the tables... Nothing was removed from the bill. We were not happy... They could have made this right afterward or better yet, been more attentive during the delay.

Gotta get the jalapeño melt downs! Shrimp tacos melted in my mouth, and the salsa is excellent. Highly suggest for dinner. Best place for sunset dinner and drinks!

Amazing! Excellent burritos in a beautiful setting. The burritos were genuinely very good--on an objective nationwide standard, not just measured against other burritos you might find in rural West Virgnia. Great outdoor seating, and it's within walking distance of the Chestnut Creek campground.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
