Steak was good and had more than enough for portions. Enjoyed the delmonico and my wife had the NY strip. Good local place that is very casual.

Good service. Steak tasted good. We ordered Delmonico steaks and were told they were like ribeye. Our steak really was more of a sirloin. It tasted really good though. Was tender and well seasoned. No Wifi. Ordered "medium" and was barely pink. Next time I would order medium rare.

We are in visiting from Washington D.C. And the hotel recommended the place. We shared the sirloin dinner for two and it was absolutely delicious and filling. The steak was cooked to perfection and really fresh. The staff was wonderful, and most of the clientele seemed to know each other. What a great place.

Not a great dinner for anyone in our party. The wedge salad was ample, but completely smothered in dressing. I ordered wings as a meal and they were hit to the touch on the outside, but the bone was ice cold. Others in my party that ordered the Delmonica steak were very disappointed from what was supposed to be a steak house. I was told by a waitress at another restaurant that the specialty at Dukes was their filet mignon, so maybe that's what we should have ordered. I won't be going back unfortunately.

I'm not gonna say the food is phenominal. But, it is good.

This was a post ski trip tradition growing up. Steak sandwich and onion rings. Hadn't been here in 20 years. Heck in those 20 years they moved 3 times so I didn't recognize anything. What I will say is this place is still solid. I love the peppers on the sandwich, actually had been craving them for sometime. They were still the same. All I can say is if in Elkins try Dukes. I doubt there is anything else to try.

Brought my family here last night because we heard the steaks are so good but was very disappointed in our meals. We had the ribeye or as they call it "delmonico" 10oz for $16 and not only did my wallet hurt but so did my teeth from trying to chew up my steak! :( it was basically the thin sliced steaks that you buy for $5 at the grocery store. My son had the chopped steak which was a hamburger patty with burnt steak fries and my daughter had corn dogs with burnt French fries that wasn't edible. This place is your average joe diner with five star restaurant quality prices. Shame on you Dukes for trying to be something your not!

Dukes is t-shirt casual. Not long on atmosphere. But we both had fantastic perfectly cooked filets with good baked potato. Came with salad and canned green beans, which i just don't get...how hard would it be to serve a fresh veggie? Service was good enough. Deserts were very good, try the molten carrot cake. Yummy. $55 for 2 with desert and 2 drinks. For Elkins, this is 4 star. Anywhere else, less, but if you find yourself in Elkins, this is the best food I had all week.

Dukes has been in business for decades. It is really known for its steaks and steak sandwiches. Dukes has been in several locations through its history and recently moved again. My wife and I gave Dukes a try while visiting family. First visit in 5 years or so. The food has the same consistency it had 5, 10 and 15 years ago. The food was very good and the portion was generous. The service was a tad slow, but it was a packed house. The decor isn't too fancy, but if you are looking for pretty good food, give Dukes a try.

I found dukes to be fine. A decent piece of fish with a baked sweet potato and salad. Was told the steak was good and garlic bread was delish Nice family restaurant under the Days Inn. NOTE: this is no longer under the Days Inn. I think it's on Rt. 33 near the Walmart now.
