Oh my! Oh my! I'm sure their pizza is better when they have some of the ingredients on hand that are listed on their menu. I got delivery last night after checking into my hotel. They were out of many ingredients on their menu so I could not get the pizza that I really wanted. After I placed my order they called me back and again explained that they were out of another ingredient. "Oh well", I said and I worked with what they did have on hand. What I ordered is not what I received. The pizza for sure did not look like the picture posted on Yelp! I open the box to eat my pizza, AND MY PIZZA WAS NOT EVEN SLICED! The cheese and topping to dough ratio was terrible, way to bread'y (same with the slice roll thing I ordered), where's the fricken cheese! They do have good pizza dough though, but there was way too much of it! The sauce didn't help any either, it tasted like it came out of a tomato paste can and they added some Italian seasoning to it... The delivery guy was prompt and courteous. I gave him a nice tip on top of their $2 delivery charge.

We were on our way to Graziano's and decided to give Slyce a try instead. The food was excellent! But... I gotta say, the cleanliness of this establishment was subpar. I am not a clean freak, but even I had trouble enjoying the awesome food surrounded in flies and the remnants of other diners funk stuck everywhere. Not to mention the bloody toilet paper I found in the mens sink after we finished... I decided to hold it until the movie.

I feel the need to write a review based on the poor customer service we received. Having spent the entire day in the car, we didn't feel like cooking or going out. We try to support local businesses and decided to call Slyce for delivery. I was craving plain cheese pizza, but my boyfriend taco pizza, so he ordered half and half and an antipasta salad. The lady on the phone said that we'd be charged for an entire specialty pizza. $31 for one pizza with half only cheese and one salad. That seemed unreasonable, so after several minutes on the phone, we finally managed to get them to change the pizza order to just cheese. My boyfriend wanted to pay cash, so he specifically asked for the total. Total, as in TOTAL AMOUNT DUE. When the driver showed up, the NEW total included a delivery fee which was not disclosed over the phone (and which curiously ended up being about $31). We didn't have enough cash to tip the poor guy. Extremely poor customer service, and the pizza was just okay.

Ordered a sandwich and wings at midnight and was told it would take an hour. At 1 15 am I called, and was told that it was out for delivery. At 1:45 I called back, and was told the same thing. When I asked "what if the food is cold?", Tyler told me that the delivery bags were heated. The food finally arrived at 2:10, and I asked the delivery guy what the hold up was. He told me he wasn't even supposed to be working that night, and that if I refused the food, he would have to pay for it. Truly unacceptable customer service. I wasn't even fishing for a coupon or free food... Just some honesty and an apology.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
