Funny thing is I don't eat steak, however if you want good hand breaded chicken tenders. This is where it's at. The dressings are all really great, especially the ranch. Hidden valley can't hold a candle. They give you bread to start, and it's just the thing to tide you over until your entrees come out. Service is almost always excellent, but occasionally we do get the slow or inattentive waiter. The atmosphere is casual, and they serve a wide selection of foods. Sure winner for a Friday night out.

Very poor network coverage from T-Mobile in this part of Charleston, so I looked around the mall and chose the best of the options available. There's nothing wrong with Longhorn at all. As with most chains, it's a known quantity with glossy menus and reasonably priced entrees. So I popped in, was shown to a seat, and ordered a steak and a beer. A loaf of bread with an icy center arrived a few minutes later. I let the waitress know and she apologized. A new loaf was delivered with some improvement. At the same time, my caesar salad was delivered. Freezing cold plate in this place, for some reason. Just as I finished my salad, the steak arrived. Covered in blue cheese crumbles (as ordered for an extra $1), with the side of brussels sprouts. The steak was cooked perfectly as requested (medium rare) and there was a reasonable portion of the blue cheese. The sprouts were top notch and I would recommend them strongly. Tender and al dente with bits of bacon and bunches of melted cheese. Delish. My waitress was very friendly and dis a great job. Other than the cold bread, my only complaint would be that they had no wifi signal in this restaurant. Get on it, Longhorn!

Amazing service last night. The portion size of the Wild West shrimp app was beyond a bargain. That, and, believe me or not, we got the most perfect rare prime 12oz prime rib. It was a thing of beauty.

Had a good meal and service at Longhorn. Jennifer was an excellent waitress. My feta spinach chicken and french onoin soup was good. The wife had the beefsteak tomato salad was good also.

We & my husband went there last night, good service, good food, atmosphere good except for they always play country music. I got a filet with mushrooms/sauce which was cooked perfectly, the only problem is that it had SO much garlic & seasoning that you really couldn't taste the steak or the mushrooms. I'm not big on a lot of garlic anyway & I think if they are gonna use that much, they should call it a garlic sauce to pre-warn people.

Very friendly staff. Steaks are pretty much cooked exactly to your liking. Endless bread and very cold beer. Definitely would go back.

Food has always been top notch. The ribeye was delicious, and the chicken mushroom dish is amazing. A little more expensive than others. I would categorize it as $$$ rather than $$. You pay for what you get though.

Longhorn Steakhouse review 3.12.12 Please note: I suggest you read up on my Morgantown review for this establishment to further understand the chain and the variation from one location to the other. Morgantown is my base location. Thus, all comparisons will be made based on that location, as I have 85% satisfaction rating for that location with 4 total visits. Thank you. Intro: we had to wait 5-7 minutes to be seated even though there were plenty of tables. One thing though. It allowed us to get more hungry. After that we were taken care of promptly. They were having us wait so a waitress can be assigned to our table for operations. I shall skip to the order quality: Order 1 (mine): Flo's filet. Stuffed version. Price: 19USD very good. Not as good as the Morgantown location, however it was still good. 70% consistency match. Meat was cooked to demands so far as how well done it was. Did not need A1 at all. Toppings weren't as plenty as the Morgantown location. However, they were still good! Steak was easy to eat. Sides: Loaded baked potato was great. Not much to report. Same with salad... Order 2: (Sisters): same as above only different sides. Steak tasted a bit charred but was still quite good. Sides: mashed potatoes were excellent. Mild and creamy, yet somehow flavorful. They did not need any gravy and had delightful presence. Service: waitress was very prompt and pleasant. She had good vibes and was laid back. We did not need to interact with management at this location. That's a good sign. Overall I would rate this visit at 4.5 stars for me and 4 stars for my sister.

We went there on a Friday evening. Called ahead for seating and only waited ten minutes. Appetizer and salads came out before the meals. Steaks were cooked to order and very good. Longhorn satisfies us again. That's why we keep coming back.

We went in, told a table would take 20 minutes so we decided to have our full meal at the bar, which was wide open and no one sitting there. After 5 minutes of sitting at a dirty bar without being greeted, or nary a bartender in sight, we left. Not going to go back, which is a shame, because they do generally have very good cuts of steak.

Okay, look. I know no one cares about a review for a chain restaurant located in Charleston, WV, which might as well be on another planet as far as most people are concerned. I just want to know, what happened to my Southern Fried Chicken Salad? I come home to visit the family, and it's gone from the menu. Why God, why? Where am I supposed to get my sweet cornbread croutons? Don't tell me the grocery store, I've tried those, and they aren't the same. Okay seriously, I could live without this salad if someone could point me in the direction of gigantic, sweet croutons that are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Those croutons are what make the salad.

I go in occasionally for the prickly pear maragaritas (outstanding), but less often than I'd like because of the prices. I just don't see paying that much for a steak, I'm sorry.
