Great service, nice location. The food was decent. I think we've had better tasting food here in the past, but today the entrees were kind of bland. The salsa and chips were good. And the Fried Ice Cream was great! We'll be back again because it worth having in the rotation.

Fast service and clean. We arrived during busy lunch hour.....we were seated in under 5 minutes and our drink order taken. Chips and salsa were served promptly. We witnessed a server with about 5 heaping plates stacked along both arms---pretty amazing. Cute little booths on both sides, the waitstaff, and festive music add to the atmosphere.

Why grab lousy fast food when you can stop at Casa Garcia's and eat good Mexican food at bargain prices? I ordered off the lunch menu and got a delicious chili relleno and beef taco with a side of refried beans and guacamole salad for about $5. Meal included a basket of fresh, hot chips and a caraf of salsa. Only wished they offered a homemade agua fresca instead of sodas.

Good Mexican spot. The food is better than most similar places and the seating outside along the river makes it a great place to hang out. Just had the chori pollo and it was great. Also pretty inexpensive.

Not great, but then again not bad. Quick service. Good portion size for the price. Less than $20 for two at dinner, including a large beer, is not bad! Just passing through town, but would probably go back. Nice that is right off the interstate!

Muy bueno amigo! Friends of ours suggested this stop. Located in a strip mall next to the krogers the weather was spring like so we sat on the patio overlooking the kanawha river I had the stuffed shrimp chimichanga which was surprisingly good and Baja like. the margaritas are gigantic and knocked me on my arse!!!! This place is consistent with their quality and speed. Great place to eat and the back deck overlooking the river is a great place for drinks and to be loud.

Good food with an even better atmosphere. Fajitas and Chori Pollo are my favorites here.

Mmmmm, the first thing I noticed was the many many items on the menu, I ordered the Two burrito combo. One chicken, and one beef, beans and rice. It was good, and very filling. The salsa was no better than you would find in a tostitos jar, but that was my only complaint. Decent Mexican, at a fair price. I recommend it, as Michael Y says "Muy bueno amigo's!

The first thing you will notice when you drive into Riverwalk Plaza, park the car, and walk into Casa is the smiling faces that great you with an "Hola. How many tonight?" The staff is wonderful, helpful, and very friendly. Ask them for a suggestion, you might be let in on an off the menu item. The 'ritas are powerful. The deck is great. I recommend the Chili Colorado!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
