I like that the drinks are pricy because it discourages people from getting drunk and encourages a classy ambiance. The staff make awesome drinks, too.

I'm biased because my family owns, but it's a great hangout. Good staff. Good Beer selection. A Charleston staple that should be checked out when you visit.

You really can't go wrong with the late night menu. The Korean Wings, the Tempura chicken nuggets, the spicy tuna roll, and the hella good 101 Roll. Some great if pricy draft beers complete the picture.

They changed. They made a casual bar into a dance club. I was accepted into Ichiban with no problems, but when I went into there for a birthday I was asked to change because of my Pirates Jersey. It is sad I can give that business $60 and then asked to leave when i walked 5 steps into a bar. Charleston needs a casual bar where I can talk to friends, not more clubs.

Overpriced and horrible staff. AVOID. Went for a couple beers before dinner at the adjoining sushi place next door, Ichiban. The bartender was rude and acted like we were bothering him by asking for drinks, so we took our beers to a table by the window. Then the waitress acted like we were bothering her. Had two draft Stella Artois and two draft Dead Guy Ales, it was $24. That's right, $24 dollars for four draft beers. Ugh. Never again.

We stopped in this place at happy hour and the clientele seemed like an after work business crowd. Nice atmosphere. We didn't eat, just had a couple of drinks. Higher prices even at happy hour but worth the money.

Drinks are expensive, but you get what you pay for. Good atmosphere and don't have to worry about the Charleston trash walking in.
