We've been to Rumors many times on Sunday for Breakfast. It's very good and you get a ton of food for the price. Our friends love the make your own bloody bar but my husband and I like their brandy old fashions. The place has always been clean and everything has been friendly. Service isn't lighting fast but all and all it's a good place

Stopped in at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday night. There were two cars in the lot so I was actually concerned they weren't opened. Not much ambiance though we didn't expect it for a corner sports bar. The restaurant section was pretty much a big square room with basic tables and several large TVs on the wall. It was curious that in my field of view, the same game was on the two side-by-side TVs. When I turned my head, I noticed a different game was on the two side-by-side TVs. I wasn't there to watch TV so I didn't say anything but it was bit strange. Our server was very pleasant. Promptly served drinks, made recommendations, and took our orders. Rueben rolls were great as an appetizer. Three moderately sized rolls. Great taste. Dinner came at a reasonable time after the rolls and was quite tasty. I ordered the Rumors burger medium. It was a bit under done for medium. The lower bun was soaking up a lot of red juice. Tasted great though! I order it again. My wife enjoyed the prime rib sandwich. At this point, I was thinking Rumors was in the 4.5 range but service started to really slow down. It still wasn't busy, perhaps six or seven tables at 6:45 p.m. but our server was rarely nearby. Our drinks and water were empty and food finished. My wife and I both visited the restrooms at different times. I was thinking, now we're in the 3.5 to 4.0 range. About this time, the owner arrived. He said hi to several regulars and adjusted the shades on the west side of the building. The sun had been down for quite some time. Finally, our server asked if we wanted more drinks, we were clearly ready to go. I asked for the check. She gave it to us pretty quickly. I asked if I paid her or at the door. She said her. She walked away and glanced at the bill and pulled out my credit card...and waited. After probably another 10 minutes, my wife said, "now I'm getting angry." I stood up from our table and started putting on my jacket to get the server's attention. She had been standing at the hostess station. She came over and took our payment. I must say, I was really disappointed since we often go to church in the area on Saturday nights and I thought this could be a place to catch dinner after church. Perhaps once they take down the "help wanted sign." Summary, food was good, our server was pleasant but as the only server for the place, timeliness was unacceptable.

Came here once when visiting from out of state. We were disappointed because we were essentially turned away because of our out of state IDs. We finally called our family, who are regulars, and they came. They know all the employees and vouched for us, so they let us stay. It was just a really bad experience. From now on we'll stick to tailgaters and the inn.

Went here on Saturday night and was thoroughly disappointed. The bartender became very rude at 1:45. She demanded last call and was nasty about it. There were 18 people in the bar and all were paying customers. She kicked us out by 2am. 30 mins shy of bar close. I will NEVER spend my money here again. Go to Tailgators, the staff is awesome and you can stay until 2:30am.
