Oh, Brooklyn Grill...why can I not like you more? I've been here twice, months apart, and neither visit was super memorable. The mobster schtick is cute for about a minute, and I just think about those poor servers dressing like that every night. I have never been here when it was busy -- there's always just a couple of tables and slightly too many wait staff standing around awkwardly. They're friendly, but it's a little much when the service station is right there, along with your server, practically watching you eat... Which brings me to the food. It sounds better on the menu (with cutesy mob names) than it really is. It's pretty standard fare like nachos, burgers, salads, and wraps, and when I asked for a side of veggies with my burger, I got what was clearly a mix out of a can. Not really food that's worth going out for, in my opinion. Overall, it's just not a place that I have warm, fuzzy, "Let's go there!" feelings about. I get the impression that the south side of the river is not a happening spot, which might be why there's never anyone at Brooklyn, but the food is not exactly helping their cause.

I've been here once. The service was good, the food wasn't bad but the space felt very narrow and crowded.

Visiting for the weekend and just driving around sight seeing, decided to search for a place to eat. Was going to try pizza but the place was closed. Next choice, Brooklyn Grill. So glad we went!!!! We're greeted warmly at the door. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff. I had the Brooklyn tiger burger & husband had Italian chicken sandwich, both were great!!!! The homemade chips, amazing!! We were pleased with everything and will definitely be back when in the area again.

Onion rings quite tasty. Fries tasty. Tommy gun check on. Tasty. Food quite good. The bar tending is a bit inexperienced. But don't Let that hold you back. You'll be pleased With the food.

During the annual pilgrammage to the EAA Oshkosh show, we ventured as far from the grounds as we have made it yet (the token up-side of having a rental car). We followed the local Yelpers' reviews and ended up happily planted on the patio here. Good drinks, good food (bacon wrapped shrimp with butter sauce... wins every time!), and the locals didn't even so much as scowl at us looking like obvious tourists. Any time we're meandering toward downtown Oshkosh, this one stays on the list.

Going in for a late lunch, I was pleased with the sedate atmosphere, fair prices, and comfy seats. The food is a little bit on the expensive side (~$8.50 to $10 for lunch), but the serving sizes are very reasonable, and all of the food is delicious. I had the small (lunch-sized) portion of their Jambalaya, and my boyfriend had a chicken strips wrap, both of which were very flavorful and satisfying! Having heard good things, we also ventured a dish of the tiramisu, which was very good (though a little heavy on the whipped cream for my tastes). My only complaint is the service... there were people walking by our table throughout our entire visit, and very little attention was paid to us outside of ordering or delivering of food. There was only three other parties I could count (including those on the very private outdoor 'balcony' section), so I can't see any reason why it should have been such a big deal to get a refill on my soda. They weren't snotty - in fact, very hospitable when they were paying attention to us - just lacked something in the attentiveness department. Still, if you don't mind pacing your drinking, it's a great little spot for a great meal.

They didn't have my first two choices of beverages, both very popular shots. The bartenders seemed more interested in restocking bar napkins than keeping an eye on our group of 8 women out to party. When we did get the attention from the bartender, she wouldn't even work her way through our entire group to see if we were ready for another beverage, poor interaction, and loss of revenue. We probably spent $120 there, if we had had a bartender who did her job by interacting with the clientele, we would have dropped another $100 there. Food was average, at best. I won't choose to go back.

Nice small place. The chicken ceasar was tasty. The only downside of this place was its size.

I was surprised by this place. I suppose I'm just used to going to most restaurants in Wisconsin that are either supper clubs filled with geriatrics or fish frys in bars with 70's decor. You know, ones with those weird olive-colored bar stools -- ick! Not true of this place. It has a theme (mafia and Brooklyn, NY, go figure) and thus isn't the usual affair for restaurants in the area. At least as far as ambiance. And good for the restaurant, the ambiance was poignant and not kitsch, which can result when trying to create a theme. Thank God they didn't plaster the walls with too much crap like an Applebee's! As for the food, it was good overall. Mostly sandwiches on the menu. The rest of my family's sandwiches were good but mine was disappointing mostly because the bread came soggy from a marinade the meat was in I presume. No biggie, and I forgot all about it once I had the Tiramisu -- it was huge, delicious and probably a weeks worth of calories. Just great!

Great little find! This place has a covered patio and offers great casual fare. The gangster-theme is cute and the menu varies from burgers to great fish baskets. Pricing is moderate to inexpensive. Well worth a stop-over.

Brooklyn's could also be known as a Martini Bar...

Owners Dave and Tina hit it on the head with this little charmer! Great food, drinks, prices, ambiance!! We eat here weekly and always delicious and creative. Specials and soups are the bomb! Come here for a business meeting, lunch with friends, groups etc... You won't be let down!

Everything was good. We had four people in our party and the burger, fish, chicken and vegetable wrap were all excellent. We just moved to Oshkosh and we will be back... often. Service was very fast.

Had dinner here this evening. Our waitress was super friendly and the service was stellar! Also, the white chicken chili was delicious! We will be back for sure.
