Several colleagues and I stayed here during a professional hiring conference [Oshkosh Placement Exchange]. I don't think any one of us could put into words how incredible our stay has been with Brayton Bed and Breakfast. Nicole and Scott's hospitality, paired with a cozy place of serenity kept us feeling refreshed during a long, chaotic (and fun!) work weekend. Seriously. Staying here would be the best decision anyone could ever make under any circumstance at any time. :0)

My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 1st anniversary at Brayton's, which was our first B&B experience. Initially I was unsure if Oshkosh would be a fun location for our anniversary, but I can confidently say that this beautiful B&B completely changed my mind! We have nothing but positive things to say about this place. We stayed in the Brayton Suite. Our room had a large tub, fuzzy robes, wonderful soaps/bubble bath, a cozy bed and extremely soft sheets. The room was immaculate! While the rooms are updated and modern, Nicole and Scott have preserved much of the "older character" of the house as well which made it comforting and inviting. Upon arriving we were invited to join the other guests outside under the pergola for wine and cheese provided by Nicole and Scott. This was only the beginning of their excellent hospitality. They were both very helpful with checking out local attractions as well as providing suggestions for food venues. We were also able to rent their pontoon boat for cheaper than the places located in town. If all of that wasn't enough, Nicole also made excellent breakfasts each morning (homemade waffles, breakfast burritos, pancakes...just to name a few). We were able to meet the other couples staying there, socialize over breakfast, snag a few coupons for local attractions, and overall enjoy our time together. I highly recommend staying here; you won't be disappointed!

Brayton Bed and Breakfast is like heaven on Earth. A very enjoyable stay. Though I rarely stay in B&B's when I travel, this was just fantastic -- far exceeding my expectations! I highly recommend it!

I'm pretty certain that Nicole is an angel sent from the heavens to change lives through breakfast. Not only is this place beautiful and incredibly comfortable (the bathrobes!), but breakfast is just out of this world. For breakfast: we had banana walnut cinnamon rolls, garden fresh omelets, creme brûlée French toast, and baked oatmeal with yogurt and strawberry jam. If you have the chance to try the hot chocolate, don't pass it up. It's like drinking Hershey's chocolate. And Nicole makes various desserts for the afternoon, which was the most amazing thing to come home to: mint chocolate cupcakes, chocolate-covered amaretto pound cake bites, and chocolate chip cookies. I just... I didn't know food could make me feel this way.

I still stand by that my best decision of 2012 was staying here during my job search in February 2012. I stayed here with some colleagues and what was supposed to be a stressful weekend of interviews turned out to be the most relaxing stay that I've ever had. The Brayton B and B is run by Nicole and Scott, who put their heart and soul into making sure that you are comfortable in your stay. The day I got there, my name, along with the rest of the guests was on a board welcoming everyone. Nicole greeted me along with her dog Georgia and got me settled into my room. When you walk into the large 2 story house, one of the first things you'll notice is smell of the cedar wood fireplace. Nicole also bakes her own treats each day that will welcome you as you come home in the afternoon. Breakfast is planned out each day and options are available to those that may have allergies. One morning I needed to leave before Nicole was in to make breakfast. However, that didn't stop her from making sure that I had something available later in the day. Nicole put aside some food for me when I returned later that afternoon. In the evening, tea and coffee are available to those who wish to sit around the fireplace and converse with others staying in the home. If you're looking for privacy, you'll have that too. Each room has their own bathroom and sitting area so that you can enjoy time to yourself. This B and B is extremely accommodating and is perfect for anyone looking to get away for the weekend.
