Not the best late night spot but a great happy hour hangout. Also a fine place to day drink. Great beer for $2 or $3. Shockingly good food as well.

Ugh, wish I could give zero stars!!! First things first, the owner is a stark raving racist. It's kind of amazing how blatant she is with the bs. I was in town visiting a few friends and they had suggested this place because the scene was supposedly cool and food was super cheap. We arrived and we're promptly seated and then nothing happened for seemingly forever. What do I mean by nothing happened? I mean no menus, no server, no water ... Nothing. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed so we let it go and chalked it up to the place being understaffed, though my friends said they had never experienced this before. 30 minutes into our "service", the owner is seen, or rather heard, going off on some African-American couple at the bar. I didn't know she was the owner and assumed she was some crazy drunk patron but then she started hurling all sorts of slurs and stated that n****** weren't welcome there. Ummmmmmm ... Alrighty then, that and the lack of service was enough for me so my friends and I bounced. I clearly can't comment on the food but service and, ahem, ambiance for lack of a better word were quite off putting and I would never consider going back. Consider yourself warned.

Everything's cheap, which is great. Solid selection of beers at very reasonable prices. If you land here at an off-peak time, you'll be just fine. Prime time, however? You'll be surrounded by throngs of the freshly 21.

We stumbled in here drunk-ish one night and I wasn't paying enough attention to be left with an impression. When coworkers suggested Two Bucks for lunch, I was confused. They have food? It's appropriate during daylight hours? Yes and yes. The food is cheap. I like cheap. But that usually means the quality is also cheap, which is gross. Good news fellow cheapskates! The food is pretty great. Choosing from a decent selection, my coworkers and I have been pleased on the three occasions (in two weeks) that we stopped in. The sliders are fun variety and give vegetarians lots of options, the wraps are sizable, the burgers don't fool around, and the fries get a solid B+. Service is always friendly, sometimes neglectful. The decor as Mike C said is nice as well. I feel comfortable here during the day, want to try all the menu items, and don't leave feeling guilty about blowing a bunch of money on eating out. Solid choice for lunch in my book.

Love this menu. Very simplistic. The beer menu is great and most beers are $2. If it's not $2, it's only $3! Pretty sweet deal! Servers and bartenders are nice. I have never had bad service here. Boneless wings are great! Tasty and of good size! Slider choices are boss. There's also a few breakfast menu items which I find very thoughtful of the chef! Honestly, the only things I have to complain about are: 1 noise level is always high 2 all the dips are soupy 3 pita chips come out too well done Keep up the good service and great menu! We'll be back!

Great selection of beer for $2 or $3! Beers that caught my attention O-Gii $3, Two Hearted Ale $3, Riverwest Stein $2, Outboard $2 Sliders were tasty. My main complaint was the onion rings. Disclaimer: I prefer crispy onion rings. The onion rings here are made with the local riverwest stein beer. Immediately grabbed my attention. When the waitress brought them out they resembled more of a donut than any onion ring I've ever seen. Very doughy with lots of batter. I would not recommend ordering them unless you are looking for an onion stuffed donut. As much as I disliked the onion rings I enjoyed the fresh fries. I managed to snag a few from the friend I was dining with. I will return but I won't make the onion ring/french fry mix up again.

We came here around 630 on a Sunday night. There were only a couple of customers there. A waitress stopped by our table and told us she would be right back with our orders but she did not come back. The manager came over like 15 min later saying there was a private party in the back that she was helping with and apologized. Then someone came to take our order shortly after. The manager came by to check on us quite often throughout our meal and even at the end he thanked us for coming which was nice of him! My hubby ordered the pumpkin lagger $2 (good but not the best he's had), spotted cow (good) $3, and for his meal he got a green and gold, cheesesteak, and Italian slider $7. He said they were good! I got cheese curds in spotted cow batter $5 (it was okay, there was not much cheese, mostly just fried batter) and a buffalo cheese flatbread $5 which I thought was really good. It was super thin, crispy, and the sauce was really flavorful. Our friend got the chicken tortilla soup and Caesar salad. He said the soup didn't have many tortilla chips and that it tasted more like a chili. He said his dish was alright. He enjoyed the curds and spotted cow though. This place was pretty good and if I visit again, I'd like to try more items on the menu!

Their food comes in small portions with low prices, great for sampling different flavors, you can order three sliders of all different flavors. I particular like their Italian bomber slider we had. Ample meter parking at the door and across the street.

$2 beers on tap that's not miller/coors? beer battered cheese curds? Yum! Downside...small batch of cheesecurds for $5. Although the tacos were $2 on Tuesday. They were not that great...

Okay, so here's the thing: like another Yelper, Erika B., said, if you like cheap drinks and pretty decent food, Two Bucks definitely fits the bill. Great selection of beer and passable food. What more do you want from a pub? Three stars for that - it's just regular. Nothing special. My experience at Two Bucks was terrible. Saturday night, one of the busiest nights of the week for bars/restaurants, and tonight was no exception; and Two Bucks made the asinine decision to schedule ONE WAITRESS. ONE WAITRESS to cover the indoor seating area AND the outdoor patio. ONE WAITRESS to serve food AND drinks to at least 50 people at once. THE ABSURDITY. My group waited a full hour to receive our orders, and other groups were experiencing the same wait times. This poor waitress, Caitlin, was running all over the place, trying to fill orders, put them in, serve people, bus tables... SHE'S JUST ONE PERSON. We complained to the manager that it took way too long to receive the type and quality of food we ordered; she comped one of our meals (the person who waited over an hour) and apologized, which is fine; but the part that really took me by surprised was when she replied, "I'm really sorry about that - the waitress is usually much better." WHAT!? Two Bucks - SUPPORT YOUR STAFF. Hire more than one person to work your busiest night of the week. Caitlin - you were an amazing server. You should find a restaurant to work at where they'll treat you like a person rather than an automaton.

I've only been once but I plan on going here regularly. First off, the beers for $2 is an amazing deal. Second, the menu variety is great and there are so many things to try. Love the fact that there's a few 'breakfast' options (flatbread, wrap, and sandwich). The sliders menu is extensive and you can mix and match which is super cool. The prices on all the food was great. Our server was the bartender since it was a weeknight and it wasn't busy, but it was great attentive and spot on service.

After the things I witnessed last night, I can no longer condone the patronage of this establishment. When the owners are too intoxicated to remember telling "NIGGERS" to leave the bar. Or when they say "You niggers aren't drinking fast enough".. I know its time to stop spending money there. Whats extremely sad is most of their staff is black!! I was happy to see EVERY race get up and walk out of that place Saturday Night!! What this world needs is more unity and less racism.

When this place originally opened I thought Two Bucks was a deer reference and it was a country bar or something like that. Ok nowwww I get it.. I stopped in here for football on a Sunday (not a Packers game). I was surprised how few patrons were there. We sat at the bar due to the fact that the high tables close to the bar only had stools and the bar had chairs with backs, reversed I guess. The bar is somewhat uncomfortable to sit at. They have the classic bar style with the area that droops out to lean your arms on. However if you're not a sloppy drunk leaning on this in-your-way piece of wood half passed out, then it's merely an inconvenience. The concept of two bucks, aka two dollars, two hundred pennies, two singles, twenty-six pesos, etc. is a great concept. They have a lot of good draft beers for only $2 including Riverwest Stein, Booyah, and Fixed Gear. For only an additional $1 (if you're not good at math we're now at 3 whole dollars) you can get amazing beers (bottled) such as Ambergeddon, Fat Squirrel, etc. I must say I was quite pleased with this deal. I doubt there's another bar in Milwaukee you could get craft beer on a Sunday for $3. So that was a huge plus for two bucks. The food menu is also tailored to the two buck theme but once you figure it out, the prices are pretty normal. There's one appetizer thats $2, the rest are $5. They have sliders that are $2 but that's per slider so they're $6. Wraps and other items are $5, but they don't come with a side (such as fries). There's a lot of fried food but there's a few items that wouldn't normally be on a menu - deep fried pickles / deep fried oreos / deep fried snickers. We ordered the garlic / seasoned fries and the deep fried pickles to start. The fries must have been seasoned before they were submurged in the frying oil because they didn't have much flavor. I've never had deep fried pickles before (primarily because I'm not Snookie) but they were "pretty good". For an "entree" I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It was ridiculously spicy. The bartender (as if she knew I wouldn't like it) offered to make me a different wrap and not charge me. She said they made the sauce too hot, and indeed it was. I took her up on her offer and had the turkey wrap which was pretty good. Bored with the game, I decided to then try the deep fried oreos. Must've missed this at the state fair. They were actually very tasty. They had almost a funnel-cake like batter and were cooked perfectly so the oreo was chewy but still in tact. In summary: The service was really good and the price was right. The crowd there was random and the seating was uncomfortable. The TVs are nice and big but way too high up. The $2 and $3 beer deals are incredible. The food is average. I feel bad giving this place 3 stars but don't think it's worthy of four. Maybe I'll come back for three dollar Ambergeddon. But probably not for a game or food. Also, there are no deer on the walls unfortunately ruling out the other Two Bucks theme.

Love the look of the place. Sweet bartenders and waitresses. The food ranges between $2-$10. Food wasn't that great though. Was disappointed in the garlic mushrooms. It literally tasted like mushrooms wrapped in a funnel cake. The burgers weren't phenomenal nor were they bad. They were ok. Also, if you're not a fan of onions, be careful when you get the pub poutine appetizer and the Italian bomber because the menu doesn't tell you onions are in there. My bf didn't have fun picking out the onions. Overall, this place was alright. You get what you pay for.

Terrible place for service, but the food and drink itself is pretty great. For the price, you can put up with the attitude from the waitresses.

Staff are really nice and welcoming this evening I had a choice of Mets v Brewers, and Utah st. v Wisconsin the bar area has 2 big screens. The restaurant side had 4 tvs. Earlier they had a good selection of music from a fancy digital jukebox. I happened to be the lucky customer to sit near the sticks of drafts they have 5 choices of LFB. For 2 bucks a pint! Not too many places can boast a beer selection of drafts and bottles for such a great price and wafts of food being prepped on the SW corner. They have outdoor seating that was clean. The large glass windows were clean too. Restrooms were very clean and bright. The bar was glossy and a little sticky honey or BBQ. No biggie they had napkins and bar rags. Btw..Badgers won and Brewers lost. This place is a good place to start or end up.

Whoo Hoo! My first outing to Two Bucks and I am smitten! I tried the new Lakefront Extended Play based on the bartender's recommendation. He was very knowledgable and helpful. I believe it was a $3.00 beer (they are all $2 or $3!). For dinner I had a full size burger basket. The fries were extremely good. The burger came on a good quality toasted bun with fresh lettuce and tomato. I added cheese for 50 cents. The burger was seasoned and a little too salty for my taste, but good nonetheless. My bill for 2 draft Lakefront beers and the burger basket was $11.00. This will be a regular haunt of mine!

Love the concept of this place. It'd be awesome if everything was two bucks....but obviously that isn't the case, and they'd never make money. I stopped in and got 3 mix and match sliders ($7) and an the Fried Pickle Duo ($2) I was REALLY impressed with the fried pickles, as they were hand battered and absolutely delicious. I was very happy with 2 of the 3 sliders. The classic slider and bbq cheddar slider were great, the pulled pork wasn't as good. I was really happy with the quality of meat on the burgers, and they were seasoned just right. If they sold a full size burger, I'd have no problem paying $10 for it. Service was average, but food was above average.

I went to Two Bucks at about 7:45 p.m. last night (Sunday, September 2, 2012) with a friend of mine. When we arrived, we were immediately helped by a bartender named Jason. We asked if we could eat outside. He said absolutely and that he would send a server. After about 10 minutes, we had no server; however, I went inside and asked. Jason was more than helpful and took our order, even though he was super busy behind the bar. The rest of our time there, he was really helpful and definitely made our experience a great one. He really made sure to take care of it, which was great, especially because it seemed that the other people working with him weren't carrying their weight. The food itself was really good as well, especially the calamari. Also, any place that has Lakefront taps for $2 wins with me. Overall, good food and a great experience. Thank you, Jason!

Been there a few times. Really reasonably priced for pretty good food. Laid back scene that makes it a good place to grab a cheap drink and catch up with friends.

This place is awesome. The owners and their staff are extremely friendly. My husband and I went there not expecting too much for 2 bucks. We were amazed. My husband is from Virginia and is a huge crab cake fan but is somewhat critical. He was blown away. Their sliders and salads are great. Took a group from my 87-yr-old Mom to our 30-something kids the second time. Everyone raved about what a fun time we had. Great place for families, anyone cool enough to live on the East Side, to my fun 87-yr-old Mom.

I was visiting from Maryland and we went into Two Bucks last night, and Jason was the bartender who took care of us. We were sitting outside and noone had come to take care of us, so when we went inside to order from the bar, he dropped what he was doing to serve us. He was extremely apologetic for everything, and it was really refreshing to actually have someone who genuinely cared. The fact that he took the time out for us, when he was obviously busy doing his own workload, is extremely commendable. As a former bartender, I can relate to things getting so crazy, so for him to take the time to make sure everything was good with us, when he shouldn't of had to, was amazing. Definitely looking forward to coming back and seeing him again! Props Jason! :)

I doubted my decision to eat here when the first thing I noticed after I walked in was the "floor behind the bar" odor only I wasn't behind the bar. When I entered the dining room, the smell was much less noticeable, so I sat down and reviewed the menu. Most of the menu consisted of sliders and flatbread pizzas. I started with the 2 beef 2 bean chili, which was only $3. It was made with black beans. kidney beans, ground beef and beef brisket then topped with cheddar cheese and green onion. I thought it was delicious and had good texture. Next up was the mushroom and swiss sliders on pretzel buns and the Two Buck Fries. The beef patties were well-seasoned and the pretzel rolls were soft and delicious. The fries are fresh cut potatoes tossed with sage and garlic. They had great flavor but most of them were over-cooked and had that unattractive brown color to them as a result, but overall not bad. One other thing I want to point out is that all of my food was served hot, not warm, hot. I really appreciate when my food is served hot and fresh, and after heating here I realize I don't get served food this hot as often as I should. This was a surprisingly good visit and I would be willing to visit again.

I can't believe Two Bucks doesn't have more reviews. I know a ton of people who consider this a regular stop. You can't beat $2 Lakefront or Milwaukee Brewing Company beer! I have had some stellar shots from a bartender who sadly doesn't work there anymore. Regardless, they have a full bar if you're into mixed drinks. Their bartenders are attentive, even to the ladies. The bar area can get crowded on the weekend, but there are also tables to sit at and a patio when the weather is nice. When it is crowded, they stop letting people in (more of an issue after 10 pm on weekends). The food is ok. Black and bleu sliders are my favorite. Food prices are decent too.

I headed over to Two Bucks after an early shift a few days ago. Yay day drinking! I was totally digging the vibe of the place...cute interior..nice bartender...cheap drinks! I was able to buy myself a few drinks and a round for the 3 people I was with and still go home with change from a $20. Awesome. When we were there (2-6 PM) the bar was pretty quite. Just a few people here and there. It seemed like it might have been picking up as we were leaving. It's a decently big place and I can see it getting busier in the evening.

If you like cheap drinks and cool eats, then Two Bucks fits da bill! They have $2 and up "adult beverages" beers and mixed drinks , great fried finger food like burgers, wings chicken tenders, fries and ...even salads ...... That night I had Caprese Flat bread, drizzled in a Balsamic Vinegarette, that left me licking my fingers! ( I was kinda hungry !) but yea, if your out with your crew, it's a cool place to stop!

Nice spot since I live down the street. Cheap beer, decent food, service was a little slow and our appetizers came with our food instead of before... But for 30$ we got cheese curds, a great chicken quesadilla, and a pulled pork sandwich. It's convenient and they had plenty of televisions to watch the game. Not bad, well be back.

Have never tried the food but you can't beat this place for beer. Great selection and what other bar can you get beer for $2 or $3? Most nights the crowd is decently low key, not a huge party crowd, but I have also seen this place get trashy. Always a random night too so can't really plan around it. My one complaint is they need more bartenders on the weekend. It gets frustrating waiting forever to get served, watching people who arrived after you get served first.

Two bucks is a godsend on the east side were you are overcharged for food and drinks. I stopped in on a weekend during a badgers game. Upon entering it was smaller then what i expected? It also reminded me of Mo's Irish Pub as far as the decor goes. You have to give 2 bucks point for having a Breathalyzer machine in the lobby area. I thought to myself who would equip this in their establishment.......... perhaps, a sign to come?........ 2 dollar drinks, you'll buy enough until your a little saucy on east north ave! The food was good and it was actually true to the price. No gimmick like buy 3 get the 4th.... or 2 bucks only from 6am to.....Nope the prices are true to the menu at any time of the day or not. I ordered a gang of apps to test them out, why not they were in between 2 to 7 bucks. The fries, chicken, onion rings, and cheese curds are what i ordered. They were all delectable. I'm not a fan of beer batter on every thing, i would have like my food to be breaded or floured. This was my only gripe. Besides this the food was on the spot. I don't drink beer....sorry so no review on that but i do drink Jack and Red Bull and a tall glass was guess what.... it was 5 bucks. It would be 10 bucks easily some were else. I ended the night with 2 dollar tequila shots......yes 2 bucks! Stop in at 2 bucks, take some friends and splurge...not really but I'm sure you can buy a lot of things seeing that the fare is not that expensive!

Food is okay, and the prices are great. The problem is the bartenders are total garbage. I've been here 3 times, and every time it took forever for a bartender take my order. The first time, the bartenders were literally just chatting with some of their friends. The second and third times, the bartenders just seem to ignore people waving at them. So, good luck getting a drink if it's even a little busy.

Went to Milwaukee on a quick road trip. This was our last stop. The owner and the staff were so friendly it was unreal. The food was delicious and presented perfectly. Super cheap and if I ever visit again this will be a definite stop. Thanks guys nice place to end the trip. Love you Milwaukee people you're great!! Danielle. Detroit.

When a place is named "Two Bucks" and is not that far from a couple of college campuses, you might think you know what it'll be like before you even walk in the door. I figured I'd be leaving the place yelling, "I've been thrown out of more disgusting dumps than this!" However, Two Bucks is a pretty nice place. It borrowed heavily from the nice interior that it inherited from the prior businesses (most recently Dog Bullocks) and the service -- especially from Morgan the bartender -- was good as you'll find at any other pub and grill in town. I went with a friend on a Friday night a few weeks ago. After whetting our whistles at the nearby Von Trier's, I suggested we go and try out the new place. We were both pretty amazed at the atmosphere, selection of beers at $2 or $3, and the inexpensive menu. Being a bit of a beer snob, I went for the $3 variety beers and I was quite pleased. Honestly, I can't remember all that were available at that price, but I do recall having a Fat Tire and Lakefront Brewing Wisconsinite. Maybe the glasses are a tad smaller, too, but at 3 bones, I felt they were still a pretty solid bargain. On to the food. We ordered a mix of sliders. Like the beers, they weren't giant (remember, they are sliders), but they were made with fresh, tasty ingredients and took the edge off of our hunger. After a few beers and a number of sliders we left satiated, happy, and we both barely put $10 on the table. This is a good place. I will return!

Two Bucks is inventive, tasty food at an excellent value. The staff are friendly, the decor is cheerful and the service is great. We love coming down for Saturday or Sunday lunch as we're not big crowd fans. We were in on a busy Saturday night and the crowd was big, but had a very friendly buzz to it.

I heard of the place but never stopped in until last night. A few of us stopped here to have some drinks and say our last goodbyes to a friend that was moving out of state. I agree with eveyone else here, $2 for Lakefront is about as good as it gets and not to mention some shots were $2 as well. And the food? Reasonable and delish! The sage garlic fries is a must!

I had been wanting to try this place since it opened and last night was my first chance. Not bad. Not bad at all. The drinks are super cheap. Most beers are $2. Some are $3, but only a few. There are a bunch of Lakefront Brewery beers on tap for $2. Sweet. It's like happy hour, but all the time. Most apps are also $2. $2 deep fried pickles? Yep. They got 'em, and they're pretty good. Most entrees are around $5. The flatbread pizza I got wasn't too shabby. I got the American one with bacon, sausage, and other stuff. It was slightly crispy, slightly chewy. The flatbread is tasty. There were a lot of toppings in ample supply. It was a good deal for $5. We also tried 3 of their $2 sliders. The Philly Cheesesteak one was the best of the three, very tasty. The Sesame Chicken was only OK. I think it would have been better if there was some sort of breading on the chicken and maybe more sauce. The bacon cheeseburger slider was OK, but it could have been better though I'm not exactly sure how. The service was good, friendly, and prompt. I'll be back.

If you are in the Shorewood area, this is a great place to grab a bite to eat or have a quick drink with friends before a movie. $2 select brewski's and a variety of sliders to fill your tummy. The highlight of their menu is their cheese curds fried in a Spotted Cow batter. These are some of the best fried curds in Milwaukee. I would definitely come here again solely for these alone.

So the star rating has to actually go like this: Food - 5 stars Seating outside - 5 stars Service - 1 star This weekend is the Harley 110th on North Avenue, so you would think a bar would be prepared with enough staff that things would or rather, should go smoothly. This is my biggest gripe, it seemed that the servers were completely slammed and simply could not get to everyone. I watched a variety of people get up and leave because they waited and waited to get a simple drink order in. On a number of occasions we had to go into the bar to order other food, get more drinks, grab napkins, and get silverware. Unacceptable. And probably unfair to the servers too. You could tell the girl working our table was completely flustered and overwhelmed. Ok, so the food is the highlight of my night. Yes, its standard bar food. But flavorful and well prepared. We ordered cheese curds, sliders, and boneless wings. The cheese curds were awesome. Although deep fried they aren't wet with residual grease. A nice perk is that you can order a variety of sliders and sample a bunch of their interesting combinations. The buffalo chicken was by far my favorite. Hot sauce, some other sauce, and slices of celery! The combo was awesome. The boneless chicken wings were also really tasty. Crispy, juicy, and tossed with a pretty good bbq sauce. Finally, the other perk was sitting outside in Milwaukee's first "parklet" (aka, outside dining space built out into the street). We could watch all the 'happenings' going on from the comfort of our table! I definitely will go back, but I hope that service isn't as scattered the next time around.

I've been here a few times and it's decent. Most of the beers are exactly what is advertized, they are $2. It's a good selection of macros and local brews at the $2 price point. Imports will run you 3$. I've only eaten the sliders and fries. At $2 a slider, it's a great deal. The Buffalo Chicken slider is quite tasty, crispy fried, moist, flavored just so. The stuffed mushroom slider is also incredibly tasty. After a certain time, however, the place becomes college center and that can be highly annoying.

Great cheese curds and $2 beers. What's not to like? I've been here several time and the service has been consistently cheery, beers (obviously) affordable, and the snacks way better than average bar fare. Delightful. Ambiance could use a bit of work.

We (my boyfriend and I) went here when they first opened and thought the food & service was excellent. There was a large list of beers for $2.00 and then some for $4.00...slider burgers/sandwiches for $2.00 a piece, fries for $2.00, etc. We went this past Wednesday (3/20/2013) and there were 6 of us. We had 2 friends from out of state and one had just flew in that day. We all got food and drinks and we're the only table dining when we first got there. It took our server a while to get to our table and much longer to get us refills on our beers. I had to go to the bar to get someone to get us new drinks. We were all drinking tap or bottled beer so you would think it would be relatively easy. We got our food and it was OK - I enjoyed what I had (1 black and bleu slider & 1 buffalo chicken slider - the buffalo chicken slider was kind of tough though) but everyone else wasn't very impressed. Our server never came back to check on how we were doing (there was only 1 other table dining at this point). It took about 15 minutes to get our check and another 10 to get change/credit slips back. Their service has gone severely downhill and there is no way they'll stay in business if they treat all of their customers that way. I normally tip very well and can forgive small mistakes but there really isn't any way to make up for poor customer service or non-existent service.

We arrived for lunch! The place was pretty empty, and that was fine with us. I love the decor, and the menu isn't huge, but the food is actually very good, especially considering the prices. My friend and I split an order of cheese curds, and we got two sliders each. (Mine were the club sandwich slider and the Asian chicken slider) I opted for a $2 Red Stripe as my beverage of choice, and it made for a wonderful meal. Our server was great! Just the right amount of attentiveness, and she even offered to split our check! I love it when restaurants do that without a fuss!

Not a fan of their food at all. Sliders are super greasy. The only thing I'll get here is their fries - those are good! Can't ever turn down the chance to pay $2 or $3 for a beer though. And their beer selection is good craft beer! Another good thing: they'll occasionally let you bring in a burrito from Mr Señors, depending on when and who you ask.

Walked in on a Thursday night for drinks and the Packer Game. Had Kettle One Citron and Tonic, it cost 2 bucks, ordered the Blue Cheese Sliders, Fantastic, it cost 2 bucks. Good neighborhood bar, good prices, great bartenders. Left them a tip, 2 bucks..... well I bet it was more than that I just don't remember. Will I go back? If it's my turn to buy a round and we are in the area I'd be in.

What's not to like about this place? So it gets crowded...why wouldn't it if beers and shots are 2 bucks? So service can be spotty at times. So it can attract a younger crowd. All a result of the $2 offerings. I went on a Sat. night around 11:00, got a table with a large group, had a wonderful waitress and had a great time.

I have had lunch with my girlfriend here a few times. Great location. Friendly and prompt service. Appetizing menu options. I definitely enjoyed mix'n'match sliders. I did not enjoy their salads however. I ordered a chicken caesar salad which was mostly yellow and oxidized. If this had been my only item ordered I would have been peeved. If you intend on going here during the evening for drinks I would suggest arriving early to beat the crowd and the horrifically loud music. I find this is a solid option for lunch or dinner just off north avenue that won't break the bank.

Drinks are great, food is great but the crew at Two Bucks are truly fantastic!

All beers, two dolla. Except if they're labeled "even more," then three dolla. Whatever, cheap options are cheap. And legit, not watered down. They have about five outdoor tables and, not being on a busy street, it's nice sitting out there. The patrons are decent, neither sausagefest nor chick coop. The bartenders are friendly and as attentive as they can be when busy. The decor is neat and awesome to observe. I hope to come back sometime and remember my whole night...

I really like two bucks. All lakefront taps (plus others) are two bucks, which is hard to beat. You can also get mixed drinks for two bucks. Food also is available in the two buck range also, with more pricey foods available. Additionally, this is a clean place, that is nicely decorated. I will definitely be going back!

Two Bucks is solid. Vast array of $2 taps and some very tasty appetizers. I was in attendance with a VERY large group of Badger Football fans watching the game on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was top notch!! I sampled some cheese curds and some of the french fries and if my belt had any more notches left I would have had plenty more. It's very relaxed and affordable. Affordable enough to say "It's only two bucks. Sure! I'll have another!!" Go for a visit.

Came here for a casual dinner and left full and satisfied. By far the best value here is Lakefront beer for $2. The food was good, my favorite thing were the Buffalo Chicken sliders as they were pretty spicy with tender, crispy chicken. The garlic fries and cheese curds were good too but the curds were on the greasy side. Pass on the wedge salad, it's a pain to eat and the toppings weren't that great. Overall I felt like got my money's worth.

Stopped in with my husband. We both went for sliders, and we shared cheese curds and pickles. The food was very good, service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I'm sure we will be back, especially for the great beer prices!

This place is the perfect bar, especially when compared to the surrounding competitors. So far I've been here three times. Once, right when it opened on an early evening over the weekend. Most of their selection really only costs $2, while a few beers are $3 and some mixed drinks are $4. Because of their incredibly inexpensive drinks... you can kind of say it's always Happy Hour. The second time I came was a weekday afternoon, where I had a few Coors Lights and Lakefront IPAs (both of which were only two bucks!). By far the most impressive part of this establishment is their max capacity. At only 99 people, the bouncer (who is a pretty nice guy) has you patiently wait outside. Because of this, the place never gets obnoxiously crowded. There's almost always a place to sit and enough room at the bar to get your drink and move about the place. The crowd is a solid mixture of post-college kids. If you don't like drinking out of plastic cups, this place isn't for you. But that being said, don't let it discourage you from stopping in.

I went on a Tuesday night around 7, great $2 beers on tap and $2 shots of Jameson. The food is also good (and cheap). I will admit that I was hesitant to come here because I thought everything was going to be kind of crappy.... BUT I was totally wrong. The bartender/ waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about menu items and we took him up on his suggestions and he was spot on. I have heard that Friday/Saturday nights here can be very rough and FULL of college kids. Meh, I will just avoid aforementioned times. I will return and encourage you to give it a try if you haven't.

Yeah it's a college bar/restaurant and yes, it's a chain. BUT it's not on water street so it definitely doesn't have the d-bagness of places that rhyme with Mothers. This place could definitely be a solid 4 star destination if they tweak a couple menu items and most importantly, improve the service issues (more on that in a sec). I was actually surprised how many beers they have for $2/each. I was expecting the usual domestics, but was happy to see that a bunch of Lakefront styles and Red Stripe were also on the list. We had the cheese curds & onion rings appetizers. They were decent. The marinara that came with the cheese curds was no bueno; had a weird flavor. However, the Riverwest Stein batter on the o-rings and the cilantro ranch that came with them were both really good. The serving sizes seemed a little on the small side for the price. I ordered 3 sliders. I loved that they had different types of break depending on what you got & wasn't a "one size must fit all" tiny hamburger bun. The buffalo chicken slider was my favorite of the ones I got. The only thing I would change would be to swap a blue cheese sauce for the ranch. The stuffed mushroom was a button mushroom that had some lentils & cheese in it, then put on a bun. It was a bit awkward and boring, definitely needed some spices. The fish fry slider was a standard little piece of fried cod w/some slaw on top. Maybe a tiny piece of american cheese or some tartar sauce would amp this up. Overall, it was a fun and affordable meal. Ok, now the service. The first time I went to Two Bucks, we actually left before we could order food because it took 40 minutes for us to get the beers we ordered. Granted a HUGE party came in right before us so that's why we went back. This time, there seemed to be plenty of servers, but our beer places were empty a lot of the time. Maybe they can keep the beer prices so cheap b/c it takes so long to get them. Also, if you're a beer bar, you should never run out of pint glasses & have to resort to serving in plastic cups. It just looks bad.

You get what you pay for. Packed on weekend nights. I don't recommend ordering food on a busy night...too busy to fully cook/fry their food. Good for a cheap beer. You may not get it too quickly though.

$2 Lakefront beers and amazing sliders. They have enough slider options that I'lll keep going back. Cheese curds with the spotted cow batter is a must have.

went here for a packer's game and it was like partying at friend-with-cool-parents house in high school. and by that i mean literally everyone in the place was 20-30. except for the aforementioned parents/owners. who served your food. everything WAS cheap, food was surprisingly tasty (curds curds curds). but let's be honest, it reminded me of a local buffalo wild wings.
