Love Tazino lunch buffet and a cozy river view on a summer day. All natural ingredients and lots of choice. If you don't see one there--they will make it for you! If you not into soda, they always have a daily infused water as an alternative. Sign up for the email, specials/discounts every week. Enjoy!

A pizza buffet, you might think? Yes. BUT, many pizzas, creative pizzas, and a large, well-endowed salad bar to boot. Edamame, tofu, chickpeas, green peas, boring lettuce, leafy lettuce, spinach, sprouts, pasta salads, broccoli salads, asian slaws, little calzony things, southwest salads, onions, banana peppers, soups, dessert items... And even flavored waters for those of you who don't want the calories or expense of buying a drink with your buffet. PLUS, you can sit by the window and gawk at the river while you eat lunch and contemplate why all these other people are riding around on party boats and kayaks and you get to go back to your desk.

Today was my first visit to Tazinos despite the fact that it's in the lobby of my building. I'm not a buffet person, but I was assured by co- workers that they had a "great" salad bar and that you can get it to go. Regardless of whether you eat there or take away, it's about $8.50 which includes a drink and tax. There appeared to be a half dozen pizza varieties, a few basic pastas, a soup or two and the salad bar. I'll give Tazinos credit for keeping the serving dishes small so things get replenished quickly. The salad bar was "pretty good" - the veggies were definitely fresh and appealing, and a good amount of options. The protein part was pretty grim, though - small cubes of ham, one type of shredded cheese, the bacon bits that aren't actually bacon and the rubberiest eggs I've ever encountered. It was like the employees accidentally cut up Super Balls instead of eggs. Blech.. I guess most people are going to Tazinos to scarf down as much pizza as they can handle to they get their $8 worth. It's not really my jam, but it is in my building and I can get lazy, so I may give them another go. Who am I kidding? My co workers love mediocre places so I'll probably be here all the time.

Went with a friend, not quite as good as the Oak Creek or Menomonee Falls locations. They are closed on Sundays which stinks if you want to load up before a football game or something like that. The food was fresh as we went right when it opened, but it did take a while to get out there. The buffet was not stocked and we had to request each item we wanted. I do like the flavored waters though, that's probably my favorite part of the place!

Comprehensive salad and pizza bar. Got all that and a drink for 10 dollars. Will return!

The extra nice staff brought us a bunch of food to try and welcomed us to Milwaukee. Great salad bar and delicious pizza with all the teeny bopper music you could dream of. It's a hit.

When I was a kid, I loved going to the Pizza Hut lunch buffet. And then, over time, Pizza Hut buffets seemed to become more and more scarce, until they became mostly a nostalgia-inducing memory. Enter Tazinos. For $7.49, Tazinos has a pretty great lunch buffet, complete with salad, hot and cold pastas, various pizzas, and desserts. The pizzas were fairly creative (Hawaiian BBQ, Chicken Parmesan, Burrito, Santa Fe, etc.) and cut in small enough slices that you could sample without feeling too gluttonous. For taste and quality, I'd say it was A-OK; the staff earns it an extra star because they seemed super friendly and awesome. The river view was another perk. Good stuff, Tazinos.

First time visit over lunch today to Tazino's, and I was very underwhelmed. When I read their advertisements and other Yelp reviews, I was anticipating a large variety of pizzas, salads, soups and desserts. What I encountered was nothing even close to that. The salad bar was average - the veggies were fresh, but there were no real proteins to be found. To the left of the veggies are all of the fattiest dressings (ranch, Catalina, etc.) and one bucket of shredded cheese. The pasta salads were bland and boring. The "two homemade soups" that were advertised was really only one, as the Chicken Tortilla was completely gone (with no refill in sight) at 12:30 pm. I had to settle for the Tomato Bisque, which tasted like ketchup stirred in to some hot water. The oyster crackers I added to my bowl turned out to be completely stale. One bite, and my bowl got pushed to the side. The pizza was bland and drenched in grease. The "large array" of pizzas was really about 3 different, boring types - pepperoni, sausage and garden. If you picked up a piece of pepperoni, there was so much nasty grease you could watch it drip off in a steady stream. The sausage was just plain nasty - instead of sausage, it looked like the chopped up, brown meat you get on a Subway philly sandwich. It tasted like it had been left uncovered in the fridge. One bite, and I spit it into my napkin. I thought a side of marinara sauce might help the situation, so I got a side cup. Apparently, Tazino's believes you should keep the marinara at 250 degrees. Maybe they want you to burn your mouth so you can't tell how awful the pizza is? Finally, what's with the "3 dessert selections"? All they had was a plate of brownies that tasted more like brownie batter mashed into a square, rather than a real brownie. One word for this place: blech. I won't be back.

Wow, this place really rocks!!! They have an excellent variety of custom, healthy, NY style thin crust pizzas that have true flavor. They have a variety of great salads, including their own potato salad along with caesar, cucumber/tomato, pasta, and other very flavorful salads. Everyday, one can choose between 2 homemade soups. I would highly recommend the place, as your buffet meal includes a drink and choice of 3 deserts. Great place to go. The line moves, and the ambiance is nice with sports-dedicated televisions installed all over the place.

I was in town visiting from LA and came across this place while walking the river. Very tasty food. It's a buffet, but fresh and healthy! Nice and friendly staff and mgmt. Good price for the high quality - good value. I wish we had one in LA.

I ate lunch here yesterday. I found the salad bar to be okay, but a couple of the toppings should have been refreshed given the fact it was noon (lunch rush). It appeared you could only chose romaine or iceberg lettuce. It would have been nice to have spinach too. The buffet also had cold and hot pasta available. The pizza was good, I have no complaints. Plenty of room to seat large or small parties. The restaurant is situated on the river walk, so I am sure it's awesome to eat outside. I am definitely going back soon. Make sure you bring hand sanitizer/wipes! I hate touching community tongs!

This place is all you can eat Salad bar and Pizza. Cheese sticks are good. Lunch buffet comes under $10 with a drink.

It's pizza. It's salad. It's a buffet. What's not to like? You want more salad, get more salad. You want more pizza, get more pizza. Pasta dishes and soup, too. Less than $10, includes the drink. Pizzas are decent and they restock them often. Thin crust, usually, with toppings like buffalo chicken and meat lovers and veggies, or simply plain. The flavor's there and the crust is crunchy. Just after 12:00, there were 6 or 7 pies on the line. Probably not the healthiest of lunch choices, but if you're looking to "carb out", then you'll do well here. If you're a germaphobe, this is not the place for you. You'll be handling the serving tongs with the same hands that you're using to eat your pizza. This might be an "ick" for some.

This place was pretty good when it opened, but then the manager moved to another store, and it seems they haven't been able to find a new manager with any attention to detail. Whether it's long lines because nobody is manning the cashier station, or cold soup because nobody thought to turn on the hot table (at 12:30PM), or mislabeled food because someone apparently just put the labels up without bothering to check if they were the RIGHT labels... there's some basic thing wrong, every single time I visit. I've emailed Tazino's a few times to make them aware of the problem, but never even got so much as an automated reply. The food is okay, at best. I work in the building, and this used to be my go-to if the weather was bad or I was in a hurry, but I won't be back. It's just such a bland disappointment every time. I hope this place fails pretty soon, and a new restaurant, with decent food and service, moves into their spot.
