This is a business which the average Joe would most likely never come into contact with. Prize Steak is a family run business that delivers meat products to the customer's specifications: A restaurant needs 10 lbs of sliced pepperoni for the week, they order from PS. 50 lbs of sliced roast beef, this is the place. The way this business is run, it's a wonder that it is still functioning! There are anywhere from three to five employees cutting and packaging meats at any given time, trying to fill orders that easily require at least 10 people to do so. There are delivery drivers constantly standing around waiting for these orders to be filled so that they can be on their way in order to make their deliveries and be home by 5pm (no OTR here). The pay is low for the dangerous working conditions (blades and grinders) and they don't have the proper guards on the equipment on a consistent basis. They seem to look for desperate people needing a job, thus the low pay. Don't fall for it. I have a feeling that a fast food restaurant would be better! 81/2014/85
