I've been to this location about a dozen times, aside from the occasional wait (before I knew about call ahead), everything has always been very good. The host staff is friendly and get you seated quickly, every server we've ever had was nice and hustled. It gets loud and fun, which is not a bad thing - unless you are looking for quiet. Every meal I have ever had there - from the broiled chicken to the fried chicken has been amazing. They use quality meats and their Caesar salad is on of the best. Not to mention the rolls.......Great place with great prices. I just wish there was one close to me in Chicagoland.

There was absolutely nothing spectacular about this place. It's just like all other Texas Roadhouses. Food was fine. Service was fine. Prices were fine. The wait was very, very short so that was nice. Meh.

It's TR so the food is generally good but how do you mess up a steak? I ordered a medium rare sirloin but it was medium well. There was next to no pink and it was chewy (I had to soak it in steak sauce). At first I thought it was a simple mistake; over cooking a steak happens even at a steakhouse so I sucked it up and ate it. Unfortunately everyone at my table had the same unfortunate experience. As always the rolls, salad, and sides were fantastic. The service was very good as well. We went when there was no line so wait times weren't bad.

I only come to the States once per year, and tend to really look forward to my Texas Roadhouse trips. I pretty much order the same thing every time - a medium New York strip with a loaded baked potato and some sort of veg. I'm always pleased with my steak, they're like butter and just so good. However this time there were a couple of issues with my groups order. One of our steaks were over cooked, although the staff offered a new one but ended up giving us a five dollar discount as we were short on time. Also my potato wasn't great this time around, it was just a little hard. But my steak was perfect as far as I'm concerned. Already looking forward to next years visit!

I love Texas Roadhouse, this location is one of the very few in ILL or Wisconsin so whenever I'm near there I make sure I visit. Food is awesome and servers are friendly.

Love those honeybutter buns! Best steaks in town! Service is great too! But for all that good, if you hit at a peak time, you may have a wait. Try to get there early and you have it made.

The staff is friendly and the food is ready quickly and tastes great. I would recommend trying the lunch menu because it's a deal for what you end up getting.

A bustling place with super friendly and attentive service. We called ahead and only had to wait about 5 minutes once we arrived. When they learned it was our first visit, a manager stopped by with a couple of (delicious) ribs for us to sample, a nice touch. We tried a steak, fish fry and country fried chicken breast and were pleased with all the food. I'm glad to discover this place.

Good food with good service at great prices if you show up at the right time. My only advice is be prepared to be asked "have you been here before?" each time you show up.

Typical chain restaurant. While they have a good variety of steak they are tasteless. The sides are very unhealthy and mushy. They should consider more healthy options.last but not least the name is misleading because food in Texas does not resemble what is served at this place.

First time here. We called ahead and was told the wait would be 5-10 minutes. We got there and still waited 20minutes more. the overflow seating was full so I had to stand. The place was trashed with peanut shells and paper. The table was sticky from the previous customers We were a table of 5. They brought out 4 dinner rolls 2 sets of silverware and no plates. We ordered our drinks. 10 minutes they brought them. We were ready to order. It only took 20 minutes to get our food. I ordered a pork sandwich. It was hot but dry. As we were leaving they were sweeping the floor, something they should do more frequently. The place was loud and trashy. A little too much redneck for me.

Regardless of where you are, you know the Texas Roadhouse is going to provide the high quality taste of steak you crave with all the fixins attached! I have eaten maybe a dozen times at Texas Roadhouse in Janesville and many other places. And look forward to my next dozen trips.

Love the Critter salad and the Prime Rib. Great cut at a great price.

first, the environment takes a little getting used to. very loud country music blasting as soon as you walk in, makes it feel more like some bar in Kentucky than a restaurant, but oh well, maybe that's the "roadhouse" part. it's ok, because if you have kids you don't have to worry about them making too much noise. it's annoying, because the waitress has to yell at you just so you can hear her. but, whatever, it's always kind of fun to listen to country music and get a laugh at the lyrics and wonder who in their right mind would choose to listen to it! anyway, the service was quite good, very friendly, relatively quick, nothing "above and beyond" but nothing to complain about. now, the food....my bbq roasted chicken was decent; juicy, pretty good flavor. the mashed potatoes were a nice surprise, lumpy with bits of skin mixed in there (potato skin, not human skin. well, I'm assuming it was potato skin anyway, I'm trying not to over-think it). the salad was average, ruined by below average dressing. how can you make blue cheese dressing that is completely void of flavor? somehow, they found a way. 2 of my dining companions ordered the pulled pork. one serving was incredibly dry, the other was much more moist and "saucy." both were rather bland. my wife, getting the dry one, barely touched it. my friend had the better of the two and still said he wished he would've gotten the chicken. the good: service, large portions (we got rolls and butter, 2 side dishes and of course a bucket of peanuts) and fair prices for the amount of food you get. the bad: the food, which ranged from decent to bland. now, I will say this in their defense: bland is not as bad as.....terrible, spit it out and run away screaming. however, as usual, I decided on 2 stars for this reason: there is NOTHING about this place that makes me ever want to go back. I can get bland food for less money at other places, and much better food for the same money at other places.

I like Texas Roadhouse. The food is good and there is even some trivia on the table to keep you entertained while you wait for your food to arrive. The portion sizes are generous. This particular Texas Roadhouse location is just like all the other locations - very standard. If you've been to one, you've been to them all. My only complaint is that I wish it were a Longhorn instead. I also prefer Lone Star over Texas Roadhouse.

This place was just okay. Occasionally, we stop here with a group of friends on our way home from a camping trip. In general, this type of place is not my cup of tea since I'm not much of a steak eater. From what I understand, a couple favorite items are the sweet potatoes (with marshmallows) and the biscuits with sweet butter. There wasn't much on the menu that I cared for so I ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad. My original rating was going to be 1 star since I will never choose to go to this restaurant. However, since we had good service and there was something decent to order, I will give it 2 stars.

Idk. Its good for what it is, but its more of a place that feeds you when yo'ure hungry than a great place to go.

Love Texas Roadhouse. Best of any of the chains IMO. Just make sure to call ahead if you're there for the weekend or be prepared for an hour wait.

Got takeout, they gave me 2 sides of gravy instead of 1 side of gravy and a bowl of chili. My mashed potatoes have paper in them. Not very happy. Why is it so fricken hard to pay attention to detail?
