We had an amazing experience at this wonderful bed and breakfast that was greatly enhanced by the personal touches provided by the inn-keeper and her lovely staff, Tami. My husband and I had a great time to reconnect in this historic and beautiful home. The personal touches to recreate the ambience of yesteryear are incredible. Would give five stars and highly recommend. By the way, the breakfast was fit for a "King" or royalty of the past era. Ralph and Margie

We loved loved loved staying at the Mansion. Our room, the Marian room, was so lovely. We had our own bathroom, and the commons rooms were gorgeous. We had a great time playing pool on the pool table. The yard, lawns, and gardens were beautiful. The manager, Christy, was lovely, and gave us a fantastic tour with lots of history and fun peeks at secret and hidden stuff in the cool old house. The price was great for such an lovely room in such a beautiful house! If we're ever in Spokane again, this is where we'll stay.

This place is everything I could ask for and more. The mansion is incredible! Such a beautiful house with lots of interesting history. The location is lovely. Many cafés and restaurants right around the corner . The browns addition area is historic and has many mansion that give that area of Spokane such a quaint and unique quality. Kristy and Mary were very sweet and helpful to us while checking in and checking out.

My entire family wanted to get together for Thanksgiving to be with my grandma. We were so lucky to find Robert's mansion and were able to book the entire building for several days over the holiday! The staff was very nice, accommodating, and respectful. We were able to enjoy our holidays in comfort. When everyone left on Saturday, I still needed to stay one more night, and they let me stay in one of the rooms with no extra charge. Thank you for being part of our special holiday!

Stunning, lovingly restored Victorian mansion with incredible attention to detail. The hosts were very accommodating, welcoming and warm. 7 dear friends gathered here and enjoyed the sitting rooms, gardens, and very comfy beds. The original giant cast iron bathtub is to die for! For the price of a boring chain hotel, you can instead stay in historic splendor--the choice is obvious!

I brought my wife to Spokane on a business trip here and we decided to make a romantic weekend out of it complete with the Bed and Breakfast. This was a wonderful choice. This beautifully restored Victorian Mansion was our best B&B experience yet. The room are tastefully decorated in Victorian antiques. Everything from the claw-footed tub in the bathroom to the ornate chandelier in the dining room made us feel like we had stepped back in time. We would love to come back for one of their Victorian high teas. Every course of the full service breakfast was delicious, especially the dutch babies. The staff was great. Heather, the daughter of the owner, is an excellent cook. She made us feel comfortable and welcome. Looking forward to staying here again.

Stayed at the E.J. Roberts Mansion on a Sunday night while staying in Spokane overnight before our flight back to DC. One of the most beautiful bed and breakfasts I've ever stayed at! Victorian furniture, stained glass, and an ornate dining room fit for kings. The owner, Mary, was a joy to talk to and made delicious iced tea for us to enjoy in the afternoon as we sat in the Mansion's "Secret Garden." The E.J. Roberts Suite was spacious and inviting (all red decor ... no frilly flowers you find in most B&Bs). The only downsides was that the bathroom was quite small (hard to find a big bathroom in most B&Bs anyway) with the sink outside of the room, and the king sized bed, while extremely comfortable, was really two smaller beds pushed together (we knew that beforehand from the website, and we thought we wouldn't notice, but we kept getting caught between the break). I look forward to trying out some of the other rooms on a future visit. Also, while I heard most visitors got a three or four course breakfast, we started with fruit, then had a breakfast burrito with a side of potatoes. A perfectly satisfying breakfast, but perhaps we should've stayed on a Friday or Saturday to get a full breakfast. But these were all very minor issues. Overall, the Mansion was a great place to stay and well worth the money. I can't wait to see what Mary does with the restaurant she's planning to open next door! Tip: Eat at the Elk Public House for lunch and dinner. Great neighborhood restaurant with outdoor seating. It's right around the corner from the Mansion (a 2 minute walk) and has great wine, beer, and sandwiches (I'm still thinking about how good the Santa Fe Chicken was).

We were here for one night and we had a great time. The mansion itself is gorgeous. It has an amazing garden and the house has been thoughtfully restored by its owner. Our room had all the old world charm with new conveniences. We had a small television in our room, hair dryer, etc but felt like we were back in time. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was delicious. It was four courses and seemed to just keep coming. One of the other guests had requested a special menu and they were able to provide it to her without any problems. I would definitely stay here again and give high props to the owner for her hospitality.

This is a marvelous getaway spot. We attended a local convention and chose to sstay here instead of the contract hotel.. The staff are wonderful. The mandion is magnificent and the breakfasts were delightful! Kudo to the owner, Maryann for saving this piece of history and sharing it with us. Tony & Sharon Sebbio
