I love having pho at the bamboo bowl, they had really good service, the waiter was really patient and kind. They're pho is amazing, it's the best tasting I've had. They're really close by so I love to come here often. I always bring my friends to this one because I know they'll love it, good food good service.

Probably been here 15 times ever since I moved here in February, still a 5 star. It's so quiet and no one's in here and that's the part I love. Every weekend I wake up contemplating on getting a lunch at Safeway but why not go here and get Vietnamese food for basically the same price.

I have found my new Pho joint! They make their broth from scratch and they don't use MSG or bouillon cubes. It's tasty! The service was great. Family owned business. The son took my order... You could tell he was proud of mom's pho. I love that. Please go here!

Wanted to try a new Vietnamese restaurant close to our hood and decided on the Bamboo Bowl. The young man serving at the place seemed busy and didn't greet us while entering and advised upon noticing us that we could sit anywhere we liked. Shortly after we seated ourselves he took our order and we didn't have to wait very long until the food was served. Our order, shrimp pho, wonton noodle soup, pork and shrimp fresh spring rolls and banh mi chicken sandwich turned out to be a flavorful combination of delicious dishes which we spiced up a bit with some chili sauce and sriracha in a tray available at the tables. Found the portion sizes adequate. We loved the food and will be back for sure.

This is my stand by, and I try to get in weekly. They have a healthy spin on their food. On a hot day, eat a vermicelli bowl.

I phoned in an order for two large pho dac biets and went to pick it up. Being the loyal yelper that I am, I checked it using the mobile app. I saw they had an offer for an order of free spring rolls. The cashier was going to give it to me but the only guy eating in the restaurant said it was only good for dine in customers (owner maybe). There is no difference in price for dine in versus take out. I saved the coupon for the next visit, though I don't think I'll ever come back because I think that is very lame that they wouldn't kick down a couple of spring rolls. I gave the chick a $2 tip and was on my way. Since the purpose of the promotion is to acquire return business, and the restaurant reneged on the voucher, it is just a matter of principle that I do not return with my business. Way to go, Bamboo b~holes. The pho is not bad, but it is not exceedingly above the competition. I only went there to try something different and I found mediocre, unexciting pho. I live closer to Pho Mama's but I still think Than Bro's and Pasteur's has the best pho in my area. On a positive note, they were fast and my order was ready when got there, 5-10 minutes after calling in the order. If you want mediocre pho that is slightly overpriced, and don't care about principle, this is the place for you.

If I could give them a zero I would. We just moved to Snohomish. I love Pho and have had it for years. This place is the absolute worse both in food and customer service. We walked in and the place was empty. It was a quarter to noon. The lady was just cleaning up in the back. After a few minutes of ignoring us, she finally came to the counter and went "what do you want?" We took that as a language barrier but if you have a restaurant, maybe you should learn a thing or two about customer service. You don't ask your customer in a rude tone "what do you want!" I ordered a large veggie pho. She said 15 minutes. We stood there while she went to the back to prepare it. We could see everything from where we stood. She took some broth out of the fridge, poured it in a pot, warmed it up and poured it in a plastic container. I asked if there are veggies in the veggie pho as I didn't see any through the plastic container. She said bock choi and carrot. I asked if it comes with broccoli. She said in an annoyed voice: "NO broccoli." We came home to eat it. It tasted SO bad. Something was wrong with it. Not only it was pure salt, it tasted like chemicals basically. I would rate a box of instant noodles 100 times better than the gross thing I had in front of me. The tofu had melted away already. There was a few bock choi and shredded carrots. I thought I was being dramatic so I asked my husband to try it. Upon eating a spoon, he spat it out going "what the hell did you order?" What did I order? The same veggie pho I have ordered for over a decade at many different Vietnamese restaurants. The whole thing went down the drain. I would never put my foot in that restaurant again and wanted to share my experience to help others who may be new to town and would like a bowl of pho. I added the pic I took before pouring it down the sink. The tofu is mostly melted away, so it's noodles and shredded carrots and chemical tasting broth.

Ordered takeout for Lunch & had a pho special medium. Tons of flavor, lots of tender meatballs & rare beef & a couple pieces of tripe & tendon...came back for takeout for dinner. Ordered 2 pho specials-1 medium 1 large and 2 kids meatball only pho. Disappointing. The broth was shades lighter than my previous visit (think watered down chicken broth) and flavorless. My husband & I each got 1 half of a meatball & only a couple pieces of beef, tons of tripe & tendon. The kids tried adding soy sauce, us adults added tons of siracha & hoisin and still there was barely any flavor in the broth and the meatballs tasted like rubber. Most of it ended up being dumped down the drain. I wish I could give it more stars because my family loves pho but we won't be back

Best phoa in Snohomish or even Washington. Service is great. Family owned and ran by the nicest people one could ask for to dine with. Off menu surprises are fun. Great place for those days you want something healthy but don't want to get dressed up to go or cook fur your self.

2 times ive gone and the service is slow and the waiter/server sometimes doesnt even talk just head nods. Almost like hes the son and hes not very happy about his job there or something? Either way there is no shortage of pho places (better ones) in the area.

I love the Vermicelli bowl, Pho, and Vietnamese Sandwiches! This is my new favorite spot, and apparently fairly popular in this area!

Absolutely love their VEGGIE BROTH based pho with shrimp!! It tasted superb and you can truly feel that the ingredients are clean and fresh :)

Best pho I've ever had! I LOVE pho, and have been to so many different places I can't even count. This place is amazing. They use all natural ingredients and NO MSG. Every other place I've been to all I can taste is the MSG. Service is outstanding, not sure of the young man's name who is always working, but he is so nice and always knows our order (we call in for take-out at least once a week). I definitely recommend! OH, and their chicken is always soft and tender compared to the dried out crap you get from other places. :D

  • Susan F.

This is the place where I first tried pho, and wow did it get me hooked, the customer service was amazing, they bring us water, took our order and not even 10 minutes and out pho was ready and brought to us. The bowl was huge and the price was cheap! It's was the best tasting I've had so far, i recommend it to all my friends and I come here whenever I'm craving. Which is often lol. Love them, totally worth the 5 star rating

I've been too many pho places all around town and never was completely satisfied. I moved near by bamboo and decided to try it out it was the most amazing pho I've ever had. Love there chicken, they use chicken Breast not the fat or dark meat. This is my regular pho spot now! Clean, friendly and delicious!

  • Grisel G.

The guy at front was super nice and let me order over the phone to pick up even though I mentioned I was going to be there after the closing time. Order 2 large pho and fresh spring rolls. The broth was really good very tasty and clear. I assumed its a vegetable broth. Witch it's a good thing for vegetarians. I was disappointed though to see how little portions of protein I got. I even though it was a mistake because was surprisingly small portion. The spring rolls where very good and those to my surprise had a thick slice of pork meet. No to much noodles and lots of lettuce. Very nice rolls. Almost a meal by itself. The peanut sauce was very tasty. Overall good place, to come back. I just wish they reconsider the size of protein portions for their pho.

  • Rachel H.

I really have to say that I'm not a big pho person but I'm actually really impressed with Bamboo Bowl's pho. It was really tasty and the meat was great. Also, I've been to a couple different pho places and this, BY FAR, is the cleanest. A couple places I've been, there were fruit flies everywhere and just was overall dirty. This place definitely exceeds my standards!

The lamest vermicelli chicken/egg roll ever. Not a happy camper. For what I paid for.!?! I expected a little more than this pile of crap! It's literally half a chicken breast and half an egg roll chopped up!?! I give this place 2 thumbs DOWN!

    (1)
  • Jasmine G.

Fantastic food and even better prices! I walked in and placed an order to go for spring rolls and a sandwich and I was not disappointed. Can't wait to go back for more!

  • Alisia T.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My mother and I used to get spring rolls here but over time the portion size has gotten smaller and smaller. Today it's a cold rainy day and my brother and I were craving phö so on the way home we picked some up. I ordered a small beef and he ordered a large with extra meat. When I got home I literally had 5 small pieces of meat. My brothers "extra meat" came with 8 small pieces of meat, and we had the same amount of noodles. My family and I have vowed to stop coming to this phö place. We continue to be disappointed by how the portions keep getting smaller and smaller. We also didn't get lime, what's phö without lime, come on. Well just make sure we continue to support "phö hung" on 4th and Evergreen Way.

Made from scratch! I'm not a fan of over seasoned broths and theirs is excellent. Light, but delicious. Hard to do. Banh Mi is fresh and tasty too. The bread is very crusty...perfect. When the weather turns cold, I'll be living at this restaurant part-time...eating. Good thing I live just down the road! :)

I love this place! I'm a transplant from Southern California and used to live near Little Saigon in Garden Grove. I have been eating Vietnamese food for 30 years! The place is clean, friendly staff, fresh food and it's pretty much a "scratch kitchen". You could tell that it's homemade. I normally get the beef pho & spring rolls. Recently I tried the beef sandwich & it was delicious! No processed meat! I'm thinking the customers that gave it poor reviews are used to Pho with MSG. I'm highly allergic to MSG and the fact that I don't get sick there is a plus. I've tried other places in the vicinity & got sick because they lie about putting MSG in their food. Thanks Bamboo Bowl for caring enough to make your food without preservatives !

I've been looking for a good Pho place and The Bamboo Bowl doesn't disappoint. The Chicken Pho was absolutely incredible. The service is friendly and quick. The staff preparing food actually cares about what they are providing. What a refreshing change from the typical "whatever" attitude that you can taste in so many meals. You deserve a great experience in terms of service and food - go visit the Bamboo Bowl.

The restaurant in tucked away in a nice new business center. The owner was serving food and it was awesome. I had med beef pho. The soup was very good, when I inquired about the method in which she made it, she replied from scratch. It tasted and looked like it. I ordered a sandwich to go, I'm sure that's going to be yummy also.

I ate there today and ordered the Pho. The broth was delicious, it really didn't need any additional seasoning or add ins to be great. I will certainly return in the future. Fast service also.

Love this place. Their Bahn Mi is the best. I always get the chicken with a side of broth. Thats what I call comfort food. The bowls of Pho are gigantic so you really get more bang for your buck.

This was my first visit to Bamboo bowl. I ordered chicken pho and the egg rolls. Both items were delicious. Very fresh tasting and a ton of food for the money. I will be eating pho for the next 3 days! The chicken was tender and it was white meat. You get tons of topping too. The gentleman who helped me was nice and friendly. Will definitely return!

Excellent fresh rolls, Pho noodle soup and Vietnamese Ban Mi sandwiches... the pork is the best! No mgs, cheap... a great little place!

The funny thing about pho is how fast it always comes out. You order it as an entree, and you do all the table prep work and eat a few bites, and *then* your appetizer shows up. But that's alright. You can eat food this good in any order, and it'll still be delicious. Bamboo Bowl is in a freshly minted strip mall, and everything inside looks brand-new. There are two-tops, four-tops, a big round table, and so on, with a medium-sized flat screen on the wall in back. It's clean and bright, with floor to ceiling windows on two sides. It's a well-turned-out neighborhood, and there's a small school right next door. You don't get a feeling of long history and tradition here, but it's certainly a pleasant setting. The staff is friendly and cheerful, easily managing the rush from empty to more than half full that hit right when I walked in yesterday. This place is clearly popular with all types of folks from the neighborhood, attracting families and couples and groups of friends. There's a moderately ambitious menu with vermicelli bowls and apps and a few other entrees besides the half page of phos. The beef pho came out quickly (as mentioned), and even the smallest bowl was good size. The broth was fairly ordinary, just a mild beef broth with a little salty tang. The noodles were great, and the beef was good eats. The basil was explosively aromatic and the other condiments were just fine. They bring the condiments out in a bowl, which makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Wonder why nobody else does that. The green onion pancake is a little on the heavy side, a little dense and chewy, but still flavorful, with a nice dipping sauce. Overall, if I didn't have to drive past other good pho places to get here, I'd be back fairly regularly. It's a solid spot.

  • R. S.

There's a lot of not so good pho out there. Often the broth is like dishwater. Just tried Bamboo Bowl for the first time. The base broth for the pho is very good. Jazz it up with a little fish sauce, hot peppers, basil and lime, and it's just plain delicious! My husband had the banh mi sandwich, that he really enjoyed. Staff is nice and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Great little spot for those that live further north from Seattle. The only downside I would say is that they don't give you any free creampuffs.

The hunt for good Viet food locally doesn't end for me. When this place opened near by, I gave it a shot during the grand opening and was ridiculously disappointed. The menu was really small, food on it wasn't available, and the food I did get, was just plain bad. Well, I gave it a try again, now that they're more established, thinking ok, they must be better with all of these reviews and they haven't shut down right?? incorrect! I have no idea why people hype this place up. The menu and flavors are far from authentic. The pho has a weird taste and the sandwich was so far from tasting like a legit Viet sandwich that I'm surprise they call it one. The only good part to it was the fried egg. If you want great viet food locally, go to: 1) Pho Asia Noodle House for Pho or rice dishes 2) Pho VK for rice and bun - the pho sucks here haha I definitely will not be back...won't fool be a 3rd time...

My least favorite place for pho in snohomish county (and ive tried a good bakers dozen of places). Veggie pho only comes with baby bok choy, a few carrots, onions, and effortless soft tofu. The broth is nothing special at all. Ill drive past this place everytime

  • Mike I.

I would normally rate this place with 5 stars as we love the Pho chicken soup. But, recently it seems they are cutting back on their portion sizes. They used to be more generous. I believe they do not use MSG in their food. Great!

For about a year, my wife and I were able to carpool to work, and this place was on our way home. Naturally, we became regulars, but since we both switched jobs we haven't been back, unfortunately. It's in a strip-mall area on Seattle Hill, and not easy to spot from the street, but what a hidden gem this place is! Family-run, and service is quite friendly. Broth is exceptional and the cuts of meat are always very high quality. I would typically get a large Pho bowl with extra noodles, and unlike most places, they would put the extra noodles directly into the bowl for me. I'm messy and uncoordinated, so when I have to put them in the bowl myself, I always jack up the whole side of the table with broth and stuff! Green onion pancakes appetizer was always our go-to starter, and consistently delicious! I feel like a traitor since we haven't been there in over six months now. Definitely the best local Pho if you live in Snohomish, IMO. Everett has a couple great places, too.

  • Malee L.

I love Bamboo Bowl!! They have great service, are very clean, and of course serves delicious food. I always have to get an order of the fresh spring rolls with whatever I order (so i'm not sure what one of the reviews was saying when they said they didn't offer spring rolls...it's the 1st thing on the menu and my 1st choice). I typically order the pho special which has great authentic Vietnamese flavor. I recommend Bamboo Bowl to everyone i know and everyone agrees that it is absolutely DELICIOUS! The hype is real and worth coming in for a try.

I have absolutely no idea how this place got 4 stars. Stopped in today to grab something for lunch to go, and it was probably one of the most unpleasant experiences I've had at a place that actually supposedly wants customers. When I walked in there was an older lady behind the counter writing something. She glanced up as I approached and then quickly looked back down at her writing and totally ignored me. I stood there quietly at the counter, about three feet from her, while she continued to ignore me for almost five minutes. If you don't think that's a long time to stand there while someone ignores you without a word, try it. She finally finished whatever she was writing and looked at me over her glasses and grunted, "TO GO?" She then jotted down my order with a sour look on her face and walked away. I waited at the counter for my order, which was ready pretty quickly. Crabby Lady then turned to me after packing my bag and grunted a price at me with a scowl. I had to ask her to repeat it because she had mumbled just a number at me, and this irritated her highly. I then gave her my cash, and she literally threw my change at me so part of it fell on the counter. Seriously. My thought in such a scenario is always, if you hate people so much, why the f**k are you working in a restaurant?!??!! The pork and shrimp rolls I got were not good. Kind of bland with a strange off taste. After several bites I realized the off taste was due to the nasty, dried up slices of what I think was pork inside the roll. I tried to pull out the pork but it was so dry it crumbled like dust when I pulled on it. Um, yuck. The peanut dipping sauce was oddly thin, and also had an off taste, like it was on its way to spoiled. I never even finished the rolls because after ripping out the crumbly, ancient pork slices and trying to use the nasty dipping sauce, I didn't want to finish them. I've eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants over many years, and have never encountered one as bad as this one. The complete rudeness of the person working there would have almost been tolerable if the food tasted good, but it did not. I definitely won't be returning for the very rude service and bad-tasting, nasty, half-spoiled food. There are too many other better places to go. Just skip it if you want to save yourself a bad experience and possible food poisoning.

When I saw the reviews for this place I was hopeful that it would be delicious. I was wrong. I went there on a cold Sunday evening because I needed a fix of Vietnamese food and this was the only place open in the area I was in. I knew just looking at the menu that it was going to just be okay but it was far less than just okay. I ordered the vermicelli noodles with chicken and an egg roll, a Banh Mi and Pho. So I had my fair share of what was on their menu. I was disappointed that they didn't serve pork with their vermicelli bowls. The chicken came out dry and the egg rolls just tasted like onions. Their Banh Mi was far from authentic, seriously we have never put lettuce in a Banh Mi before lets not start now. The Pho was super bland and lacked any flavor. That was my first and last time there. Definitely not even okay Vietnamese food. I wouldn't even characterize this place as Vietnamese because it is not authentic at all.

Awesome first experience with Vietnamese food. I went in and ordered several items so a few of us could have a sample of many things. It was all delicious. The girl taking orders was great. I ordered takeout and it came out quickly. Loved the bahn mi - and what a value! will definitely be back for lunch another day.

I always get the beef Pho and love it! I eat Pho pretty often and this place is in my back yard and I am so glad that it is actually good Pho. I always am particular about what is in my Pho but they always listen and give what I want.

    (5)
  • Amanda R.

Hmm, maybe it was an off day? We both ordered veggie pho and the broth was so so salty, it was not even palatable. We ate the few veggies, (some carrot shavings and bok choy) and the noodles and pretty much left the rest. The fresh spring rolls were very good, however. I'm not sure they were good enough to warrant a second visit. It's too bad, I had high hopes.

My daughter and I frequent this place when husband is working. We love it here. Close to home, clean and yummy pho. Those that have mentioned it's watered down, never took a look at their sign. It says "NO MSG." To me this is a huge plus. We don't eat stuff that has MSG in it and this is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Keep it up and you'll see us more often! Wherever else you go I'm positive their broth is loaded with MSG. How easy it is to make pho with that. It's cheap, nasty, and horrible for your health. Yuck!

    (5)
  • Naomi D.

Super delicious! The pho broth is flavorful and perfectly seasoned- one of the best bowls of pho I've had. The fresh rolls are yummy and a great start to a meal. I will be back for many more bowls of pho!

I love it here. They're very lucky to have no Vietnamese restaurant competition for miles, they're reasonably priced, and they're very open to any substitutions you would like to make to your order. Very delicious food and a friendly, fast, and efficient staff!

Hands down the best vietnamese food in Snohomish County. The pho is delicious with very flavorful broth. The vermacelli bowl is the best I've EVER had, especially if you get it with chicken and spring roll. The chicken doesn't look very good, but it's delicious. My hubby like the vietnamese sandwhich and they have a great lunch special with the sandwich and a drink for $4.50 (I think). YUM

  • Alida L.

I LOVE bamboo bowl! I think the service and ambiance is wonderful and the way they cook their pho is unreal. I love that there's no MSG. I dream about their pho and when I lived in Washington I lived far but always made the drive and now that I live in Utah I will fly there (literally, I work for an airline) to eat the pho because nothing compares. Everyone should try it! Prices are reasonable as well!

Been there only twice used to drive 9 miles to another pho restaurant but after the second time going to bamboo bowl it will be my place for pho the noodles are excellent. The freash spring roll is the shiznit. Chilled mello place to have a quiet lunch or brunch....

My wife and I have eaten or gotten takeout from Bamboo Bowl many times. The staff is always really nice, and the food is much better than most of the pho places that we've tried. Their sandwiches are especially good.

  • Jeannie N.

I don't see the hype. I tried this place when it opened and definitely it was subpar. I'm Vietnamese and this place served nothing close to VN food. What a joke. There was one server and she wore the grumpy face the entire time. It took 34 minutes before the food arrived after an 11 minutes wait before our orders were even taken. I ordered bun thit nuong cha gio (vermicelli and grilled short-ribs with egg rolls and grilled prawns. The fish sauce was bleh and there were prepacked lettuce in there. Took 2 bites and left. What a joke.

Review Update: I'm already a fan of the PHOnomenal Pho Tai, Wonton Soup, Vermicelli Bowl, and Spring Rolls so I decided to try something new and tonight chose the Chicken Noodle Bowl- Um YUM!! Perfect for those cold and rainy summer (WTF??!!??) nights! I opted to go with the noodles from the wonton soup (rather than rice noodles). New fave. New fave.

I don't really get why people like this place so much. Maybe it's because there aren't many pho places around the area? Other than their quick service, their broth is so plain!! I mean, just because you don't use MSG doesn't mean the broth needs to be plain.. very disappointed in the pho here.

    (2)
  • Julie H.

My favorite Pho place. Clean, friendly, easy parking, family owned, and best Pho around. The fresh shrimp and pork rolls are the best with four pieces plus peanut sauce for under $4. Nice ambiance with lots of windows. My only suggestion would be to switch from plastic 'to-go' containers for take out as the hot Pho takes like plastic once you get home, so I choose to eat there.

  • Chelsie S.

The broth at bamboo bowl is unique. It uses less salt and tastes... healthy. It's still flavorful, but there's less fat than you would find in other pho broths. I have always ordered the combination pho. It's evenly proportioned with the rare beef, meatballs, tendon, and tripe. The summer rolls are filled with noodles and shrimp and comes with a delicious peanut sauce to dip your rolls in! Bamboo Bowl is conveniently located across the street from Bartell's on Seattle Hill Road. You can eat here for dinner or lunch, and their menu is not limited to pho only. They have other types of noodles, rolls, and chicken dishes to choose from. If you don't feel like noodles, they also have a few Vietnamese sandwiches you can try as well! Definitely give Bamboo Bowl a chance!

This is the first pho place I have been to where the vegetarian pho is actually *gasp* vegetarian. All the other pho places use beef or chicken stock in VEGGIE pho, but not at Bamboo Bowl. The veg broth was light and not oily, but still flavorful (no MSG either). There was a ton of baby bok choy, carrots, and soft tofu. The soft tofu is another bonus for me because most pho places will use deep-fried tofu. The best part is that it only cost $4.75 for a medium. I couldn't even finish the whole thing, but it was a good deal and good quality. I'll definitely be back if I happen to visit Snohomish again!

Really good broth. One of my favorites so far. And I love pho and have eaten it in many places around here. Good price too

I was really disappointed with this place. I came here because I saw that they gave away free spring rolls with a Yelp checkin, but that's really one of the only things the place had going for it. The spring rolls themselves were well made, but the peanut sauce was not very good at all. It had this odd chalky quality to it that I found to be quite repulsive. But hey, it was free. For the price, you get a massive bowl of soup. The ingredients seemed to be pretty good but it was just completely lacking in flavor. The broth was very watery and uninspiring, so I had to drown it in hoisin sauce and sriracha. Overall, 2 stars solely for the price:portion ratio. I probably won't be back, though.

Hidden gem!!! Well, given that I don't go out to eat in Snohomish often, this place was a hidden gem to me. Many pho places don't make chicken or veggie broth. Or, if they do the broth is unimpressive. Bamboo Bowl not only makes delish flavorful both, but the best part was how fresh all the veggies (sprouts, basil, lime and jalepenos) were. It grosses me out to imagine pho restaurants re-using the unused (but rarely untouched) sprouts left over by previous guests - so I just don't think about it. But at Bamboo Bowl, you can tell they take care in using only fresh ingredients. Next time I'm hungover in Snohomish, you'll most likely find me here.

A very good bowl of pho. Wonton soup is excellent as well. Bright, clean, friendly restaurant. Their broth really is good and pure. My wife loves it because they don't add much to the broth. She's allergic to all kinds of fish. They have the fish sauce at the table, so she can leave it out. Might not be the most authentic place around, but for my wife this is a plus. I love good pho, and they definitely have it at the Bamboo Bowl. Edit: A note for people who might find the soup mild or "watered down": You've got to flavor it up yourself. This, in my opinion, is part of the fun of pho. Add a few drops of fish sauce, a dollop of hoisin sauce, enough saracha to satisfy your taste, a squeeze of lime, and then shove in a branch of basil. Practice makes perfect to find the flavor you like because this is a matter of personal taste.

Good service, but they have a lot of work to do on the operations side of things. Seemed a bit disorganized. Employees were on break and eating in the main dining area. Everyone needs a break, but it's often best to keep employees in a separate area. The pho was good and they didn't mind our kids making a mess. I'd try it again.

I loved their fresh spring rolls, probably the best I've had but since this is a pho place... I can only offer 3 stars. Portions were generous and they have very good quality meats but the broth, which is the part I love best, reminded me more of chicken than of beef/pork. It lacked the rich savoriness I crave. Slightly disappointed by the fried spring rolls that were more veggie than meat, tasting like Chinese instead of traditional Vietnamese. And I'm pretty sure their Vietnamese coffee was made with powder. I know it's the trend nowadays and it's not a bad substitute but there's something comforting about seeing the drip =)

Bamboo Bowl is my absolute favorite place for pho. They also have really good egg rolls and their vermicelli bowls aren't bad! The food is delicious and the service is great and the employees are so nice! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I can't believe it has taken me so long to write about Bamboo Bowl. I've probably eaten at Bamboo Bowl more times in the last year than anywhere else, and for a good reason. The food there is amazing. First off, the food. The beef and chicken pho are undoubtedly some of the best pho I've had in the NW. Every time I go out and eat pho, I compare it to Bamboo Bowl. The veggies are always fresh. I have never been given a dark sprout or a salty bowl of broth in the hundred times I've been there. The chicken is tender and the beef is meaty and lean. Secondly, the people. I have never had a bad experience with the staff of Bamboo Bowl. We go in so often that they practically know us on a first name basis. Being a family-run business, they are friendly, prompt, and always serve your food with a legitimate smile. Take it from someone who has tried the rest. When you go to Bamboo Bowl, you get the best.

Not only is the food here amazing, the Chef (Owner) made me a special dish because we told her how picky I am....their customer service is amazing! This is the 1st Pho place I've been in that has been actually clean and their bathrooms you could probably eat off their floors! Very, very yummy food, clean atmosphere and kind people! Thank you Bamboo Bowl!

My family and I are frequent flyers here and we don't go out to eat too often so this is a special treat my whole family loves. The vietnamese food is the best I have had yet, nothing compares. Oh and they are family owned and operated. Homemade peanut sauce rocks too! ;-)

Pho was simply okay, both appetizers were not very good and the pork wontons were so burnt that we couldn't even eat them. I was also shocked to see that they didn't have any fresh rolls on the menu.

I've hit most of the pho places in the area, in search of good vegetarian Vietnamese. Most places have been about the same, honestly. This place, on the other hand, surprised me. I signed up on Yelp, just to give it a review. The place looks plain, yes, but the chef (owner?) makes the best bowl of soup I have had outside my own kitchen. It would get 5 stars from me if it was a couple of dollars more each serving. This place is amazing.

The restaurant is nice, clean, not too much decor, just simply plain refill of some hot broth brewed for 6 to 8 hours, according to the menu. However, according my taste buds, it's more like 4 hours, with a little bit more water than usual. I would to hate to say that it's watered down, but it was somewhat un-tasty, which made me say such a horrible comment about the broth. It's a good fix for a hangover, just like one of the owners said, but it wasn't quite the fix for a pho craving.

I'm so glad there is finally a Vietnamese restaurant not far from home. I've had the beef pho, and it is really tasty! Will be trying their Vietnamese sandwich today, and I'm sure it will be just as good. A nice little casual place that won't break your budget to pop in and have a great meal. I highly recommend it.

Excellent Pho' and Vietnemese sandwiches. The Restaurant is always clean and very simple. Pros: Great Sandwiches, Friendly service, Good Price Cons: A little hard to find, in the back corner of the mini mall..

I want to give it four stars just because it is close to my house, when I want Pho it is usually because the weather sucks or I feel like crap. Thus the basis of its appeal. I don't want to drive 15 minutes to get some Pho. The broth was tasty enough, I ordered my meat rare and it really wasn't by the time my meal was on the table (in the restaurant, not to go). But it was still tasty.

This place is not good at all. I had the pork bowl with vermacelli. The pork was pre-cooked and just heated up so it was overdone. The noodles were not vermacelli and it really had no flavor, even with peanut sauce. Avoid this place if you can.

This is a favorite restaurant of ours! My kiddos love their pho & fresh rolls... I love and crave their bun/vermicilli rice noodles. The family that runs it is very kind and I love supporting them. The mom and daughter are especially in tune with my family's allergies/dietary restrictions and remind my husband of what we can't have if I'm not there =) This is without a doubt my youngest's favorite place to eat. He always used to say "Can we pweese have Me-a-ma-mese today????"

My co-workers and I usually get take out here for lunch and the food is great. Located off a nice plaza, parking is ample and the service is quick and friendly. The family that runs this place are very nice people! Compared to other pho restaurants that are small and cramp, this place is HUGE and quite clean. We're talking spacious, airy, high ceilings with an almost industrial feel, and you don't feel claustrophobic when dripping in sweat from eating steaming hot noodles. And I must say, the spring rolls here are the best (I've tried them everywhere) as well as the egg rolls.

First let me say I am not a Pho expert. I've only had it a few times and I've found it irritating to be given tasteless broth that I had to "fix" myself. At Bamboo Bowl the beef broth was flavorful without any add-ins. I got an order to go and the beef, onion, clantro, and noodles were all in a separate container from the broth, which allowed me to assemble it back at the office and not have overdone, soggy meat. They also provided another bag full of the add ins, including bean sprouts, red sauce and hoisin. The medium was $5.75 and honestly could feed three people. Super tasty, super cheap, I will return.

Like the last reviewer, i cant believe its taken me this long to write the review, but i guess I've been too busy enjoying their delicious soup! Ive been coming to bamboo bowl for over a year and a half, and was so impressed and excited that there was finally a pho restaurant in my neck of the woods that i brought by whole family. we know the owners by name now and this is the first restaurant i'd consider myself a "regular" of. This was where I brought my girlfriend for our first date, and it has a lot of personal meaning to me on top of being an excellent place to eat. They always have football on if theres a game, and if not, then theres usually like Americas next top model or something like that. This place is super clean, the staff is one of the most friendly out of any restaurant Ive ever been to, and as Ive mentioned previously, their food is excellent. oh, did I mention that their large bowl is easily twice as large as most other places? and costs roughly the same, and in some cases, as a medium at other restaurants? This place is wonderful and I will be going here for as long as I eat food! Try the Pho Chin Nam, the Egg Rolls, and the Bahn Mi! You wont be disappointed!

Hands down Bamboo Bowl has the best Pho, Banh Mi sandwich and summer rolls. I had not ordered the Wonton Chicken Noodle but it looks amazing. We have been to many Vietnamese restaurants in Snohomish County and by far this is my favorite. Check it out!

Great pho and great service! Nice to have a place like this close by. Better pho then in Seattle. A healthy choice in the neighborhood and the rice and pork rolls are fresh and delicious...nice with a bowl of Pho. No MSG! This is our new 'regular' place.

Food is vey good, sandwiches at lunch time are reasonable, and delicious(pate!) the people are always very friendly. I appreciate the lack of MSG since my wife is allergic to it. One of my favorite eateries.

This is a pho review only. Worthy effort for a neighborhood place but not to go too far out of the way for. Claims to make their own broth but is very mild and moderately flavorful. One Basil stalk and light on veggies. Meat ok. Fresh rolls mostly greens with flavorless peanut sauce. If you are a pho-natic, there is better.
