If you want great coffee or specialty drinks and "more than just a coffee shop experience," Walnut is one the best in town (Red Twig and Walnut compete for the top spot, in my book). On a nice day, the garage door is up and the full spectrum of Edmonds peeps are enjoying some quality time at Walnut.

This is a good one. I am a fan of vivace coffee in Seattle so when i heard they served their beans I knew I would be a fan. I really think that walnut brews a better cup of vivace than vivace does. Oh and the Batista's are a lot more friendly at walnut than vivace. The pastries and light food is also quite good, all from local shops I believe. Overall a great experience every time I come in. Only suggestion for this place is more power outlets!

Nice looking place, casual comfy decor. Lot parking is limited but we were able to find a spot quickly. The food menu is limited and one thing that surprised me was that the food isn't made-to-order. The food is made earlier and I guess they warm it up. That was disappointing especially for such a limited menu. The pastries liked good and I had blueberry scone. It was tasty. The coffee was good and that's what helped give the the star. Since there are other places in the area I imagine that'll we more than likely wouldn't visit again any time soon. It wasn't a bad experience, it was an average experience.

Did not like the customer service at all. Quit a pricey place for the quality of coffee. I have definitely had better coffee before.

Very strong coffee. Great selection for breakfast. I had a blueberry scone, more like a muffin than a scone. Cute atmosphere but not big enough for how busy it is. Would go again to try something else.

Coffee here is mild yet robust. I love getting a cappuccino and whatever brioche pastry they have available on the case on any given day. The small cafe is packed on Saturday mornings with a line usually out the door. Highly recommend this local spot!

Best breakfast sandwich and chai tea lattes around! Definitely would recommend going here over the Starbucks down the street!

First of all I have had coffee here a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. Coffee is tasty too. I stopped in there today just to use the restroom. I am currently 6+ months pregnant. A lady working there (didn't catch her name) saw me walking out with my big belly and offered to give me a Walnut Street Coffee onesie. She said they had been on clearance but she was just putting them away and wanted to pass it on. It was such an incredibly kind gesture and made my day. I will be sure and come back for some yummy coffee later as well .

Great small coffee shop. It was crowded when we came in to grab a few cups of coffee, but the orders were served quick and hot. Prices are pretty decent and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Seems like a pretty relaxing place to read a morning newspaper or just hang out when you're in downtown Edmonds.

I'm giving this 3 stars because all other times I've been here everything has been wonderful. However, my last visit I was serviced by an apathetic barista who was on the tall side with black curly hair worn up. When I approached the register I was met with no hello, no friendly smile, I had to do all the formalities for her. I asked for a coffee and a pastry but she didn't ask me if I wanted them for here or to go, she just gave me everything to go--was she trying to shoo me out? She also did not ask me if I wanted my pastry warmed, once again are you trying to get me out of here? When I asked for it warmed she looked like I was inconveniencing her. When she gave me the pastry it wasn't even lukewarm so I had to ask another (friendlier) barista to warm it through for me. When I sat down to eat I observed her serving all the customers that came after me much more cordially and giving them everything in "for here" dishes. Whilst sitting, I notice I am the only person of color here and also probably not a regular. Perhaps I don't match the demographic of the Walnut Street Coffee clientele but I should not be treated any differently especially when I myself remained cordial and polite in spite of the whole experience. If I ever return I hope she is not there as she sullies my experience, it's true, no matter how good the food is, it takes away the taste when bad service is in the mix.

Absolutely the best cafe I've ever been to. The staff is so nice, the coffee perfect, and the baked goods, wow! If you are in Edmonds please visit Walnut, you will not regret it!

Amazing coffee. Great atmosphere. Open to the outside when nice out. Friendly professional staff. Always stop by when I'm in the area.

Love my coffee everytime, friendly staff, and Macrina bakery! Yum!!! Ben is fantastic and always remembers my name. My drinks are always prompt. And I always get a Nutella broche (sp?) muffin when they have them. Soo yummy. The owner does not skimp on quality, even the milk is all organic!

Upon my return from Japan last week, one of my first requests was to go to Walnut Street Cafe. I have a problem, guys. A chai problem. And it's all your fault, Walnut Street. Your chai is way too damn good. You've ruined me! Let me count the ways (I'm sorry you all have to read this): 1) I can't order anything other than chai. Ever. Except for the time that I ordered a cappuccino. And a chai. 2) I can't buy chai anywhere else because I know it won't be as good. 3) I am now have to plan my commute to work just so I can order chai every morning because being away for two and half years was awful, so I have to make up for it by getting one every morning. Congratulations, you've turned me into a chai snob. I hope you're happy. But seriously - if you want excellent service, a great cup of coffee, knowledgeable baristas, and damn good food, stop into Walnut Street Cafe. It's my favorite place in the world (plus if you have Foursquare, they have a coupon upon your first check-in there, good for your next cup of whatever you drink).

Tonya and I came here because of the Yelp reviews. Having owned our own cafe, bakery, and coffee place, we're a bit picky about what we get and have struggled to find anywhere that knows how to make a basic latte. Unfortunately, Walnut Street isn't an exception. The outside is very cute and inviting, once you walk in the door, it's not the delicious smell of coffee that hits you, it's an odd, old, musty smell. The floor is littered with crumbs, the two old chairs we sat in are stained with various splatters of... something. The condiment bar was covered in sugar and cinnamon and the cinder block walls under the window bar had coffee stains streaking down them. The barista making our drinks was dressed in a tank top ( a no-no for me) and went from working the machine to microwaving sandwiches to handling dirty dishes with no gloves or hand washing at any point. As we sat and observed, the one handling orders and cash went right over to the machine without washing her hands, steamed something and then drank it right there. She was also playing with her hair and rubbing her neck and went right back to the machine. WASH YOUR HANDS!!!!!! The service was friendly and quick and the espresso bar is well lit. The orange on white menu is a bit hard to read and thankfully, they do not stack their paper cups on top of their machine. The espresso bar also appears to be well maintained and for the most part, clean, as is their pastry case. On the product side, my latte was half of a disappointment. My shots were excellent, my milk, although it had a basic design, 1/4 inch below that was just plain warm milk. There was no body to it and it lacked the proper technique that brings out a natural sweetness to it. Tonya's (disgusting to me) white chocolate americano she says is the best she's had in a long time, which reflects of my previous comment about their shots. Extraction they have down, milk, no. With a few changes in hygiene practice, some work on milk and a good cleaning, this place could be very inviting for us. Until then, we likely won't be back anytime soon. *edit* after posting this review, we continued to observe the staff. The curly haired individual walked into the bathroom to catch a bee, she took it outside, came back in, started eating her food behind the bar, walked toward the register chewing and talking to other staff member, wiped her mouth with her hand, took a drink of water swishing then swallowing, took another bite of food, wiped her mouth with her hand again, and then prepared a drink for a customer! Again, WASH YOUR HANDS!

Local suburb "Mel's Diner" feel (minus the food) with a dose of modern type "Starbucks" coffee shop. Gluten free pastries that are incredibly lovely! So full of flavor and definitely not flakey or crumbly, or to sweet, as many can be! Neighborhood"y" ;) and stones throw from the Main Street mom and pop shops filled with quintessential holiday gifts to satisfy any hearts desire from babies to real estate. Everyone there looks like a local. I love this place! Came at 10:30 left an hour later, the lines were very steady and full of conversations, dog petting, paper reading, kindle loving grandparents, families strolling and hand holding! Worth the drive to get out of your own neighborhood! LOVED IT and especially the views of mountains to the west! Picture perfect.

Great vibe, good coffee, delicious treats. The local cookies were deliciously gluten free and vegan and went well with my black coffee. The environment is cute and the staff is friendly.

This is a wonderful cafe down up 'ere in Edmonds... a charming place I've probably been to like twice ever. Their outdoor sign is passable as a Saved By The Bell or Fresh Prince of Bel Air prop. A glorious afternoon and there's a pleasant occupied vibe in there. I planned to be open-minded this time, not keeping my tunnel-vision on the chai as intended, and was feeling other items...annd nope, I just got a grande soy chai. The staff is super friendly, cool, wonderful and stuff. Nice, unique own charm all over inside and the outside. I'd asked what kind of chai and I believe she said it was Black Scottie. This rings a small bell where I think I've had that type somewhere in West Seattle; perhaps Metropolitan Market's coffee shop. While the inside was rather stuffy, as well, I stepped on outside to a small table seat, kicked up the side leg and stared at the slowly descending blue-hued sky.

You know the days when you need some pre-study fuel, so you cram your feet into 5-year-old Uggs, toss a windbreaker over your sweatpants, and run down the street without having indulged in a shower yet nor met with a comb? You hope you won't see anyone you know, and don't worry too much about needing to be out for long. Those are not the days to go to Walnut St. Cafe. First of all, you will see people you know. This place gets note for being the most consistently haunted coffee shop in Edmonds by actual Edmonds locals. If you have ever lived in the city, you will see someone you know if you go there. Students go there to work at the comfortable window bar bench, EWHS alums go there to reconnect at the small round tables, and grandparents go there to enjoy a routine cup of joe and the local paper, which is every day spread and well-read around the cafe's center table. Second, this is not a place you will want to just swing by. After all, it pulls excellent shots, employs friendly baristas, and offers freshly warmed baked goods that are perfectly enjoyable. It's the kind of place where you get a tea, pick one of the two sturdy arm chairs on the back wall, and strike up a conversation with whoever's sitting in the other one. The distinct Edmonds flavor and comfort deserve more than a cursory visit. I don't really care of you shower, compose an outfit, or coordinate your shoes. Just be prepared to say hello to old friends, and to stay awhile. If you want a quick, impersonal stop you can try the Starbucks at the fountain.

This place is awesome :) They have some unique teas, which are very yummy! I got mine iced. They also have some gluten-free items, the Flying Apron brand, and I got one of those to-die-for peanut butter bars. Tea in hand, splitting pbutter bar with my friend, and walking around downtown Edmonds and the beach = awesome Tuesday afternoon. I'll be back! Looks like a good place to relax and study, if you don't go at a peak time.

The coffee here is spectacular! Also- this was my first time having someone draw a tree in my Mocha, which was a very nice surprise and made me feel welcome in my new home here in Edmonds :) Thank you.

Great service, easy to get to location and great coffee!! And their cookies and burriots are amazing!!! Their ginger molasses cookie is so delicious, my coworker and I literally crave it! I also recently tried their black bean burrito for lunch. It was amazing! What a great little place! :)

Both Yelp and my friend who is a local recommended this place and it exceeded my expectations! I was greeted by a friendly barista who made me a delicious, hot americano with breve. It was perfect. I will be back again the next time I'm in the area!

The best coffee ever! I love Walnut's coffee, they are the best tasting coffee ever. The staffs are friendly, and the owner (cannot remember the name for now...) I have heard from him that he spent a lot of time studying the coffee and bariata. I also love the atmosphere of the cafe inside. From time to time they display the beautiful art works on the wall from various local artists. From paintings to photographs and etc. Of course the coffee is the best part in this cafe. I don't live in downtown Edmonds anymore but I still go visit the town just to have the coffee from Walnut.

If you can have a great product, or great service (but not both), which would you (as the business owner) need to have to be successful? It's the service. Unless your product is so incredible that people are willing to put up with anything (Soup Nazi) to get it. For months now, Walnut has been my Soup Nazi. There is one barista in particular who I literally dread seeing because she is so inhospitable. And I have no idea why she seems to hate me so much. But really, none of them are exceptionally friendly. That's fine I guess. I don't need to be friends. I was willing to forgo the service for the vegetarian, organic product. Then today, I discovered the betrayal. Despite the fact that my husband and I have gone there several times a week since March, they NEVER ONCE mentioned to us that they have a loyal customer rewards program of Buy 10 Get 1 Free for drinks. I even tipped you guys despite your crappy attitudes, hoping it would get better, but now I can see that you just have some beef with us for whatever reason. Don't worry, you won't be seeing me any more.

Walnut Street Coffee is one of those little neighborhood spots that you dont really seek out unless you're a local of the neighborhood, or you hapen to be doing something int he vicinity that would be made easier with coffee (coughcough like boarding a ferry without wanting to go on a homicidal tangentcoughcough). WSC also happens to be the closest coffee shop to the off leash park I most often bring the family mutt to, which makes dealing with overenthusiastic dog owners a bit easier to deal with. The ladies I've seen working always manage to get the line of drinks made quickly without sacrificing quality, and do so with smiles more often than frustration. Plus, the coffee is just as good as what I've had at Cafe Vita, Stumptown, and even Vivace, without the snark. There. I said it. A place with Vivace quality and with nicer staff. We can hug it out over biscotti if you want to.

The best & most consistent coffee in Edmonds. Hands down. Maybe the most consistent coffee in the greater Seattle area. I worked for three years as a barista, and have been called a "coffee snob" by my family and friends. I have been coming here often for 7 years now, and haven't had a bad cup. Ever. A must stop coffee shop if you are around downtown edmonds.

The prices are a little out of control. $11.50 for a quinoa breakfast burrito and an espresso drink, and you bus your own table. While the burrito and coffee is good, and the staff friendly, eating here is not a good value. Maybe once a month.

I needed a quiet spot for breakfast and to hang out prior to my deposition. This is a great spot. The staff is friendly. The coffee is good, but a bit more bitter than I like. However, add a bit of milk and it has wonderful flavor. A quinoa burrito and a bran muffin help make up for yesterday's burger for lunch. The burrito had nice flavor and the apple pecan bran muffin was tasty and moist. Just right to start the day. Nice service and good wifi makes a good start to the day.

It's a fact, folks: I need my coffee every morning. My new and awesome employer is a tea drinker, which is fine during the midday, but in order for me to be functional and fun-loving, coffee is my drink of choice. So imagine my sadness when I learned there was not coffee at the office. No worries... I'll grab some on the way to work. There's a coffee shop across the street from my office, which will remain anonymous, and they're OK in a pinch. One morning, I took an early detour and practically got rear-ended slamming my brakes when I noticed Walnut Street Coffee. The outside looked so retro and charming... I wonder what the coffee tastes like? Eh.. I'm running late... maybe next time. My delayed apologies to the driver behind me that had to effectively slam on his brakes too. Next time, on my way to work, I did stop in and ordered an Americano - no cream or sugar/sweetener. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I. Am. A. Fan. I've seen some reviews that are based on the customer service (good or bad) and I can't comment on that (maybe I needed my coffee). I'm planning another trip to Walnut Street Cafe where I can spend more time. Maybe I'll order a pastry or sammie next time. In summation, I really like their coffee and am very interested in making my visits more frequent.

Came here as part of a MeetUp group to chat in Edmonds. I couldn't resist adding another coffee shop to my quest, so I went along. The place is very trendy and has a nice, chill atmosphere which you get from pretty much all of Edmonds. I came here on a Sunday, so it appeared that this was the place to meet up locally in the morning to shoot the breeze and have a bite to eat. I order my hazelnut latte and it was good. It was just the right temperature for me to casually sip while listening to my MeetUp group converse amongst themselves. I think if it were a little hotter, it would have lasted a little longer... :) Would come back again, as it just seems like a nice spot to chat.

Downtown Edmonds is the cutest little town in the whole wide world, I'm convinced. I'd like to retire here some day. But then again I never want to get old, so I don't like to think about that. But, I digress.. This is a neighborhood coffee shop. People know each other and are genuinely nice. Lively chatter and natural light fill the space. The coffee is very good and the drinks well crafted. There's a little bit more acidity and bitterness than I normally like in my coffee, but better than Starbucks. I love the bottle of honey they have here, I think it's from a local company. Once, I dropped by to get a cup of afternoon coffee and the barista told me that it was already paid for. Apparently a regular here decided to pick up the tab for EVERYONE's coffee that day (thank you stranger! I'll pay it forward).

Cute little place in downtown Edmonds. Found out about this place through my sister and I'm pretty happy with her recommendation. The exterior is simple painted brick and inside is pretty cozy. I visited on a rainy Saturday. Upon entering, I was met with families chatting, young children having breakfast, and small pairs of locals. The staff is friendly and remember repeat customers. Not only that, but the drinks were amazing. Ordered a latte for myself and I was pleasantly surprised how well the espresso was drawn. Great job Walnut Street Coffee, I'll see you in the future!

If you are looking for the best coffee in Edmonds...look no further. Every cup is deliciously made by awesome baristas! Everyone is friendly & they always have a great selection of goodies! My only complaint is that they are busy, good for them it's obvious why!

Cozy little coffee shop that is perfect to warm up after exploring nearby beaches. They always make us feel welcome and pay extra attention to my daughter (we tend to dislike places that speak to us rather than her when she is trying to order). It can be crowded sometimes and difficult to find a seat, but the round center table is great for sharing. Great coffee...They actually understand how to make my drink 'tepid' and get my husband's at 'extra hot' without burning the milk!!

  • Katherine F.

Let me start by saying that I didn't try the coffee here. I only had the hot chocolate, which is a mix of syrup and natural dark chocolate. I requested it to not be too sweet and it was made really well. The guy behind the counter was probably one of the friendliest "baristas" that I have encountered at all the caffes during my stay here in Edmonds/Seattle. Even though the place is quite small, there was still a lot of seating and people don't mind sharing a table with one another. Definitely a neighborhood spot. My husband and I were able to hang out here for 3 hours studying and no one working here complained. They were very kind. Free street parking and a parking lot. Free wifi too. Definitely good service pays off!

Adorable little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Edmonds. I popped in during a busy Saturday morning and was warmly greeted. I didn't have a whole lot of time before meeting up with friends, so I only ordered a hot chocolate. Their menu included typical coffee and tea type beverages, but there were also some sandwich items and lots of delightful-looking pastries. The hot chocolate was smooth with a sweet, milky chocolate taste, which is my favorite kind. Small space with wonderful photographs on display by a local photographer. Friends sitting together and chatting. Others curled up in a corner with a book or lap top. It felt really comfortable. I would love to go back sometime and sit around doing some drawing for a while.

My father in-law loves this place. He goes often enough to have personal conversations with the staff who all know him by name. They make delicious chai, and I love their pastries. They usually have a low fat option. Their cakes are moist and their cookies chewy. I haven't really had anything here I didn't like.

  • Carl B.

The best latte in town. Use the large wide brim mug, either non- fat or regular, great taste, foam on top. In the summer the garage door is open. Each morning a group of people meet in the big round table. Included in this group is an Edmonds motorcycle policeman, and the most exotic looking woman with dark hair, beautiful face, and exquisite eyes, that you have ever seen.

Walnut Street Coffee is my fave coffee shop in all the land! And since I live in the greater Seattle area with shops galore, this says a lot. First, the prices are great for the quality of product that you get. The coffee is perfect. I got a mocha last time and it was just the right amount of chocolate. Not overly sweet, and the chocolate brought out the great espresso flavor. I've ordered other things there and have never been disappointed. Second, the service is awesome. The baristas have always been really helpful with helping me decide what to get, which can be almost impossible for me at times! Third, the decor is adorable. It's really warm and inviting and bright, like you're in some cool person's house. I want to sleep there. I highly recommend you patron this place. It is totally worth it!

Nice atmosphere. A cute, quaint little cafe in downtown Edmonds. Has a really cozy vibe. As for the product- espresso is yummy and the Italian sodas are delicious. Haven't tried much else yet but the pricing is reasonable and I love that cups, etc. are Eco friendly. Will be going back much more~~~

My hubby and I moved to the Edmonds Bowl a year and a half ago. We love the quiet small town vibe that is especially prevalent during the non summer months. The best part about where we live is how close we are to Walnut. Being a couple of coffee snobs (myself having working in the coffee industry for 5+ years) it was thrilling for us to discover Walnut St. Coffee on Day 1. We love the staff. They are quick, friendly and always deliver a tasty beverage. Most of the food is pretty tasty as well. I'm a sucker for the oatmeal & apricot cookies and the ginger molasses (not the vegan one, which they also carry and is not the same). The soups are all really good. The food, especially considering it's mostly vegan, is quite good. Try the black bean burrito. It is filling and tasty! Walnut is a total local meet up. On any given day, you'll see the same group of retirees chatting it up at the large round table, while the hipster sipping his cappuccino has his nose buried in his macbook, and the stroller brigade of moms meeting up just after the latest baby popped onto the scene. It's one of my favorite places to visit on a regular basis...In fact... p.s. they do free pour the syrups, so if you like your coffee to taste like coffee, I'd ask for light syrup. Just f.y.i.

Super cute coffee shop but sometimes can be hard to find a seat. I Love the espresso, love the chai. I usually order an americano or a macchiato (not the sugary kind) I come here on most of my days off. I work at starbucks. Need I say more?

I went to Walnut Street Coffee for the first time this morning. Murphy's Law that I happen to drive to downtown Edmonds while 5th Avenue S was being paved. However, I was rewarded with 3 hour street parking and a short walk to WSC. Wow - despite the early hour and not with a lot of immediate pedestrian traffic, this place was packed during a near 90 minute timeframe. I loved how it was a lively nice mix of lingering professionals with laptops, parents with toddlers, folks meeting up to read or carry a conversation. Very pleasant staff and one heck of a barista - that was a fine mocha made with Vivace coffee! I noticed that the pastry case was chockfull of Macrina pastries, as well as, other posted menu offerings. Usually I've gone to Waterfront Coffee because I usually hop the Edmonds/Kingston ferry, but it's great to also become acquainted with Walnut Street Coffee. What a great find!

I recently started working remotely a lot, and discovered Walnut Coffee when my boyfriend picked up a new client in the area. I LOVE THIS COFFEE SHOP! The people are friendly, they have wifi, they make delicious mochas, they have some gluten-free goodies if you want them, and they have vegetarian sausage for their delicious breakfast sandwich! I try to limit my meat consumption but like the texture of sausage for breakfast sandwiches and Eggs Benedict, so it means a lot to me when places hace a veggie patty. Also helps that it's delicious and filling. Way better breakfast than a cookie or a sweet croissant! It gets crazy busy here sometimes so it's not ALWAYS the best spot to work, but I've had a few very good experiences.

I heard about Walnut Street being one of the few local businesses open during the great snopocalypse, so when I could make it off my street, to Walnut Street I went! I was greeted cheerfully by the gal behind the counter, smiling and attentive, and ordered a sugar free almond latte, for here, and a slice of the Harvest Squash Bread. I was thoroughly pleased with my big, bold beautiful latte in a turquoise blue cup with pretty finish art in the milk on top. It tasted as delicious as it was pretty to look at. I found a comfy lil corner to settle in and did a bit of journaling and making jewelry for fun and noticed how friendly pretty much everyone was, employees, customers, regulars... Walnut Street is a great find! It's simply a happy and inviting place that serves a dang good cup of coffee (one day when the water was temporarily shut off, whlie I waited for my latte, I was given a free cup of brewed coffee and it too was deliciously bold and smooth) and delicious baked goods (I think from Macrina Bakery) and local treats (Flying Apron's gluten free goods, Theo chocolate, etc.).

I drink decaf lattes and they are really good here. They use Espresso Vivace beans which are excellent. I also tried the quinoa breakfast burrito...egg, quinoa, veggies, whole wheat tortilla, microwaved to heat it up. It was ok, but it's not my fave. I've been back many times for the not-to-be-missed lattes!

Always good coffee and an alternative to Starbucks. Several times I wanted to sit and talk but was too small, full and noisy, so got my coffee to go and went for a walk around town. There are plenty of other choices for coffee that are less trendy and more relaxed. Hipsters will be disappointed I did not give more stars but I don't see the point of great coffee that I can't sit and enjoy.

Ahhhhhh to find a coffee shop you absolutely love that is super close to work and home. There truly is nothing greater in the world. Thank The Lord for this five star small business that is so close to me! This is definitely edmonds best. The friendliest staff who make spectacular drinks. I'm someone who loves a good latte and this place most definitely meets my expectations. They make your drink super fast; I've never waited long even when it's super busy. Also they sell day old bakery items for a dollar, doesn't get better than that!! Superb place- I'll definitely be back, probably tomorrow.

There's something charming about downtown Edmonds. If you're driving in from Seattle, you'll get this beautiful look of the Sound as you head into town on Edmonds Way. Then you'll encounter a bunch of local shops, like Arista Wine Cellars, Rick Steves' Travel Shop, and this place. Walnut Street Coffee perfectly fits the charm of downtown Edmonds. It has colorful and inviting decor with a large communal table in the center. Their baristas are also super friendly and down-to-earth. Their drinks are also very well made, from simple drip to lattes. The prices are cheaper on average than most places in Seattle. The only thing I would change about this place is where they source their beans. They use Vivace, which is fine. I think Vivace beans produce smooth and rich coffee and espresso, but they don't have the complexity of the Latin American and African beans from places like Stumptown. But it's a personal preference, and I still think Vivace is very good for espresso-based drinks. Ultimately, it's five stars for Walnut Street Coffee. If they start using Stumptown beans, I'll be moving to Edmonds.

This place has excellent coffee and great service. We tried the latte, coffee and espresso, and all were very good. The people working there were really nice and welcoming. Also, the place has really great atmosphere with local art and regular customers. However, the food was definitely underwhelming. Bottom line: this is an awesome spot to hang out and drink some coffee, but not necessarily to eat breakfast (which may not be what they're going for anyway).

This is the best coffee in the Puget Sound area. I love everything about this place. The first time I was here was Aug 2012. I got a latte and sat outside... it was perfect with the atmosphere and coffee. I couldn't think of a better place to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Oh the coffee... In a world where the slutty mermaid with the long hair rules ever corner, one wonders what ever happened to the smaller coffee shop. Here is, right on Walnut St in Edmonds. A little background first, I have always preferred the smaller coffee shops to the corporate giants. I go Starbucks when smaller coffee shops are nowhere nearby. The coffee here is always perfectly brewed, and the baristas behind the counter really know what they are doing. The atmosphere is great as well, while the shop itself is a wee bit on the smaller side (pretty much a garage) the vibe of the atmosphere feels very comfortable and is the perfect spot to have 15-20 minutes to yourself enjoying a cup of coffee. It reminds me of a coffee shop where you can hang out with your friends and just shoot the shit, it's like Edmonds has its own little "Central Perk." If you find yourself in the Edmonds area, do yourself a favor and skip the naked mermaid and the other one (Starbucks and Tully's respectively) and give the Walnut a try, you won't be let down.

This place is great. Yea, the coffee is just really good coffee, what makes this place special is the really friendly staff and the talkative patrons. A great community place in Edmonds. In fact, it is the most community oriented place in Edmonds. I can't recommend it highly enough. Go, say hello, and get to know more friends in Edmonds. And stop next door at Giardi's sometime for the great appetizers at great prices.

This is THE locals coffee joint in Edmonds and it has quite a following. Whenever I show up in town this is my first stop. I remember when Edmonds pretty much had no coffee joint except Waterfront Coffee. Then came Tully's and much to my consternation Starbucks finally showed up right in the center of town. I like the Walnut Street Cafe. They make a nice latte, perfectly foamed, and decoratively poured. How many coffee joints do that? Starbucks is an assembly line. Walnut Street is unhurriedly artisan. Come on you locals, skip Starbucks, that's for the touristas.

We stopped in here to start our day spent in Edmonds and I'm so glad we did. I had an americano which was awesome and my boyfriend had a white chocolate mocha. I stole a sip (well.... It wasn't really stealing since he offered... the first one at least) and it was the best white chocolate mocha I've ever had. Not too sweet and just the right balance of milk and coffee. We shared a vegetarian breakfast sandwich and I wish I had ordered my own. It was BY FAR the best breakfast sandwich ever. DELICIOUS!!! With pesto and a veggie patty and yummy goodness all around. I would go back just for that. The staff was friendly and efficient. They were slammed but took care of everyone in a timely manner. I also loved that it had the feel of a local hang out. Lots of groups meeting up for a Saturday morning coffee. I would definitely put this on my list of recommended spots in Edmonds.

New stools, yay! The service was great during my last visit. I think the owner had her daughter helping out that day (I think it was the owner). Very sweet. :) Also, our drinks were delicious as usual! Great foam.

I am finally writing a review of my FAVORITE Coffee Shop. Walnut is THE place to get a great cup of Coffee in an authentic "Coffee Shop" atmosphere. When I first moved to the "PNW" one of things I loved the most was going to different Coffee Shops and enjoying the unique feel each offered. Als, those days are almost gone. Walnut still has that feel as well as the Barista's creating a REAL Latte. I love that they put the cup on the counter so you can watch them create the Leaf with the steamed milk. Becoming a bit of a lost art I'm afraid. I love their Goodies! The place is always busy. Great Art on the walls, open to the street during nicer weatherand warm and welcoming in the crappy weather. The only thing that bugs me is that even though I am in here at the very least, weekly and in nicer weather sometimes daily, The Baristas treat me like I am just another Customer. It would be nice, given the Friendly, Coffee Shop atmosphere if they would at least acknowledge that just saw me yesterday. Dont get me wrong, they are nice and do great work but a "how are you today?" would be a nice touch. my Ssister in Law makes this her first stop as soon as she hits town from the East Coast and comes in every morning and afternoon while she is here. To sum up; Great Coffee. Great service. Cool ambiance. An Edmonds kind of place!

A cozy welcoming escape from the alternative. the story: I was in Edmonds just for the day, and needed an "office". I originally ended up at the Westgate Starbuckses (yeah, both of them). The Starbucks' were cold, crowded, and the wifi crappy. It was the worst. So I left looking for greener pastures. When I walked into Walnut Street I just sighed a sigh of relief and smiled. It is welcoming, cozy, calm, clean, comfortable, and quaint. The baristas are friendly and the layout/seats/arrangement is nice. And the WiFi works! Oh and the music is good! Fleet Foxes was playing when I walked in. This is my kind of place.

The espresso was prepared very well. The atmosphere is slightly cold and filled with fake hospitality unless you happen to be a housewife. The noise level was louder than most coffee shops I have been to. My cinnamon roll was really good. The parking is very limited. If you are looking for a vintage coffee shop, there are better and there are much worse.

Heard about it through Yelp, so I thought I'd give it a try. Swung in shortly after the opened at 6, first impressions were very good and lived up to expectations. Very clean and well organized. I was one of only two customers at that time and after the gentleman in front of me had finished ordering I was politely greeted by the barista. The coffee itself was quite good, and was prepared quite promptly I might add. It's served with no lid or straw which the customer can get for themselves just to the left of where they retrieve their beverage. I was fond of this idea despite my own personal difficulties putting my straw in (stupid ice). The baristas were not very excited/awake which is understandable due to the fact that it was early, but personally I enjoy energetic baristas which help wake me up. All in all, I enjoyed my experience and will most likely be returning.

Since moving to Edmonds about 8 months ago, I've probably been at the 'nut 1-2 times per week, and I've got nothing bad to say. Why? Because they brew a fantastic cup of drip coffee, have great pastries (particularly the gruyere/dill scone and cornmeal biscotti), delicious chai, super friendly staff with awesome music taste, and free wi-fi. Seating can be a little tough on busy weekends, and if, like me, you work on your laptop a lot, there are few outlets. Overall, a stellar indie coffee shop.

I absolutely love love love this place! They make the best soy latte with the most impressive foam. AND they carry baked goods from Macrina bakery and Mighty O donuts which are a big plus. Love the space too. Very bright, clean and welcoming.

awesome coffee shop. I think the coffee here stands head and shoulders above anything else in downtown Edmonds. There is plenty of seating, and in the summertime they open up the garage doors which is sweet! If your looking for a good place to meet, some great coffee, or an alternative to the mega coffee shops this is the place to go. as a random side note Its very entertaining to come in on a Saturday or Sunday and watch the old people congregate around the center table. They sometimes get very animated and start yelling.

I popped into Walnut, wet and soggy, after braving a trip to the OLAE with my black lab. Great coffee, typical prices, pastries that look "to die for" (and off my diet). For the second time in as many visits, I was underwhelmed with the friendliness of the employees. Little in the way of smiles, eye-contact or thank-yous. I like the "communal" feel of this converted garage, but found myself unable to read my Barron's due to the loud music, which only exacerbates the din from the usual weekend crowds. Love WSC for meeting or celebrating with coffee; for quiet reflection and or validation, not so much.

The perfect vibe! I have my own business and love to mix it up and work at coffee shops. I love working from the Walnut! The staff is so friendly and they make absolutely delicious drinks! There is are a lot of regulars there, which adds to the great feel of the place. After going a couple of times, the baristas new my name and my drink. They are always really upbeat and chatty. I live all the way across town, but try to make it to the Walnut as often as I can. It's a great place to meet with friends too! Just make sure you com early or late morning on the weekends because it gets packed! And in the summer they open the garage style door in front so you can enjoy the sun! Hopefully that warm weather is coming soon! I'm anxiously awaiting sunny days at the Walnut!

Edmonds finally has an eclectic, intimate, NONCORPORATE coffee house! Although I do not wish I could travel back in time 15 years to when I was a teenager living in Edmonds, I do wish a place like this would have existed. The ambiance is great - private nooks to sit and read a book and a larger communal table perfect for doing the Sunday Times crossword with your friends or playing a game of chess. The art is cute and affordable and fitting for the space. And the coffee? Vivace! - the hands-down best roaster in Seattle that I happen to frequent almost daily as a grown up now living on Capitol Hill. The baristas at Walnuts are knowledgeable and friendly and pour a perfect shot - they have been trained and it shows in the presentation and taste of the espresso. Go Edmonds!

  • Jason W.

Good food choices and coffee. Atmosphere is quaint but great for a cup of joe. Only worthy of 2 stars because the baristas have never been very friendly. Been coming here off and on for the last 3 years and thre is large gap in service here vs most other cafes. On a side note, prices are steep too. 2 stars

I never write reviews. But when I saw a user complaining that they double cup CMON! I used to go to Starbucks everyday. But now I have made the switch to Walnut Street Coffee. - Here the coffee is always hot. (hence the double cup and I have no problem with the lid) and by the way its one of the only places that uses an ECO Cup. - They create such a great foam on the americano it leaves me wanting another (Sbucks doesn't even come close to the tase of this) - The service is great, they are serious about making coffee here and it shows, they are friendly and do a great job. - Its a warm clean comfortable environment to work and drink coffee I have very few con's, Free drip coffee refills would be nice. Maybe a few more plugs on the far side for laptops.

Better than Starbucks, worse than Lighthouse: pretty good. It looked like a diaspora of the young in an aged Edmonds with its new fangled hues- full of old people tho. As I entered this former gas station, I was pleased to smell the aroma of actual (non- Starbucks fake coffee-alike) coffee being brewed. Good pastry and cookie selection. Comfortable chairs. Good job on the little leafy thing that the Barista crafted in my Latte foam. I may go back. Closest competitor is Edmonds Bakery 5 blocks away. Worth a try. You have to kiss some serious a$$ to get a 5 from me!

So I've been here three times now. Great coffee & other drinks...Love the bakery items - they seem very fresh. The seating is limited given that they are usually busy but it seems like people are willing to move around a bit & share chairs if needed - so this is nice. Women working behind the counter: OK. Their attitudes and patience could be improved a little. Maybe they need a break? Love the BIG windows on the sidewalk because people usually have dogs outside & they let in a lot of light...

This really is, hands down some of the very best coffee in the Seattle area. As a former barista, I am a total coffee snob. There was no way I would have expected that my new office would be a block from coffee heaven. The milk is perfectly steamed, the shots are perfectly pulled and on a cold winter day the place just makes your heart sing! They also have amazing baked goods and burritos and sandwiches from Dancing Women. The place has a nice, modern vibe and the service is great. Outstanding !

  • Peter T.

I love this place and am a regular. They know my drink and the staff enjoys their jobs. The coffee is artfully poured and is consistent no matter who makes it. Walnut may be 2 blocks from a Tully's and 4 blocks from a Sbux but it's miles apart from those two in every meaningful way.

Walnut Street Coffee is without a doubt the best coffee I have had in over 20 years in many, many Seattle coffee shops. The quality of the lattes and the service are always excellent. I am a regular, and the baristas greet me with a smile when I come in. There is a big, round table in the middle of the shop where locals sit and chat, and it is often full. Newspapers are left out on this table for reading, and there is free wi-fi for working/browsing. The owner recently added bright chairs and little tables in an outdoor spot which was perfect for catching those recent bright, sunny days. There is also a coffee card with free coffees after a number of purchases - something not many places offer any more. All in all, a wonderfully satisfying experience. I constantly bring friends and family here. Well done, Walnut Street Coffee!

Though I am a starbucks addict I have been to this coffee shop twice and it is such a treat! Visually it's decorated with vibrant blues and greens. When it's warm there's people sitting outside on the side of the building with their dogs and the garage door is opened up. There's some couches and tables along the walls. In the center there is a big round table. Yep there's free wifi so there's lots of people with lappys. While ordering my coffee I couldn't help but ogle the baked goodies by the counter. If I had more of an appetite I would've totally tried something. I wandered around while I waited. It looks like there is a spigot by the area with lids and sugars where you can rinse out your to-go cup. And, I enjoyed perusing the bulletin board by the bathrooms. See what's going on in town. My flavored soy latte was made and it is visually stunning and tastes even better. Espresso is nutty and bold and the latte was perfectly foamy. Mmmmm... If I lived in the neighborhood I would probably be there right now. Yelping on my lappy.

Recently went here for coffee and breakfast-type items b/4 a small road trip. While we love the cheese and bacon biscuit things here, the service for coffee is abyssmal. I don't know why they insist on double-cupping your coffee because when you try to put a lid on - they don't fit. On our visit, of course, this happened. So I politely asked the girl behind the bar area if she could please just give me one cup. I had already pulled apart one of my drinks and then gave her the other. She had as much trouble as I did and then very sharply and abruptly poured the coffee into the extra cup I had just left there. Problem? The coffee went all over the counter and there was not a word from this chick, i.e., "sorry," "I'll get you a fresh cup," nothing. Again, local businesses want you to shop local - which we are happy to do. But, seriously, please provide some friendly and decent customer service. Sadly - this was not and we won't be going here for a while.

My local coffee shop. They use Vivace Vita blend, I get beans for my home machine here, they get beans twice a week so I always know they're freshly roasted. The afternoon crew are all friendly, talented barrista's. A couple are passionate about coffee and have toured as many local espresso shops as I have. The best coffee shop in Edmonds. Haven't tried red twig in awhile, the blend there is too acidic for espresso. Nothing else is worth mentioning.

Cute little coffee shop on Walnut Avenue in Edmonds. Went there this morning with my Mom and her girlfriends after a long walk through Edmonds. I enjoyed a cup of Chai Tea and a Breakfast Sandwich. Both were delicious. I also tried a bite of my Mom's multi-grain scone which was also really good. I love the quaintness of this little gem!

I really enjoy the espresso here. Great people behind the bar, too! Update 2/5/11: Love the new pastries from Macrina. I'm now a full blown biased regular.

I am not a real fan of the drip coffee, a little watery, but the espresso is good and I like the pastries. It is a great place and on a hot, well if it's above 50 it's hot, they open the bay doors and gives it a real cafe feel to it. The ladies behind the counter are always to in a good mood and brighten up the place. It is a good place to hang out socialize. Check it out.

Charming little coffee shop with consistently great lattes and mochas. More flavorful than boring old coffee chain coffee, and a friendly gathering place for locals. The baristas finish each pour with a little fern design in the foam- lovely. I've tried their cookies, pastries and breakfast sandwiches (all good) and a nice compliment to their coffee. This is a sweet, cozy shop that invites you to sit down, slow down and enjoy your drink. If you're a tourist or just cruising through Edmonds, I highly recommend this cafe for a true taste of life, leisure and lattes in the Pacific Northwest.

Been a while since my last review, but the owner tried to reconcile a previous mishap on service so I appreciated the gesture. Have been back several times in the last year or two and the coffee continues to be excellent and the service/friendliness has improved noticeably. I'm hoping they can keep prices low or even lower them a bit since I find the latte and mocha prices on the higher end of the spectrum. Quality is indeed a notch above the average so I guess you get what you pay for. One other thing is the hours which could be extended a bit longer for us evening coffee folks - but I understand business is business and you can't appeal to a small portion of the population to keep costs reasonable. In any case, keep up the good work Walnut Street!

Yummy, chill, clean, modernly quaint, and friendly! That's Walnut Street Coffee shop. I usually get a hot cider or iced chai tea latte... both of which may just be the best I have EV-er had. The cider must be fresh, like they just melted an apple into a cup and threw a bunch of cinnamon spice into it, serious. Their cup sizes are a bit funky. A "Tall" at Walnut would be more like a "Short" at Starbucks and their "Grande" is like a "Tall" at Starbucks. I hate to compare Walnut to Starbucks, since they're totally better, but it threw me off when I ordered a Tall and got a dinky lil' cup. But it's always a dinky lil' cup of pure deliciousness! I have had two of their pastries: Chocolate Coconut Macaroon and Parmesan Rosemary Ham Biscuit. Oh my goodness... Both of these items are out-freaking-standing. They're made by Macrina Bakery which is local. I adore Walnut Street Coffee so much that I compromise with my dog by walking her 3 miles, one way, to Walnut Coffee Shop, just so I can treat myself too!

Great little independent coffee shop. Neat location in a former gas station, with the tables located in the old repair bays. In the summer months open up those large garage doors and enjoy the cool breezes of the Edmonds water front. Oh, the coffee? The coffee is excellent, prepared by a great staff. Free wifi, local art, and a nice location very close to the core of the Edmonds downtown. Shoot, they even have parking!

I recently moved back to the Seattle area after living in California for three years. I've been in the hunt for a while to find a good coffee shop since I'm a grad student and I spend a lot of time reading and drinking coffee. Well, my search is over. Usually I'm a large drip coffee guy and the fact I could count on a good cup every time here is great. I asked the barista what beans they use and he said they get there stuff from Espresso Vivace. I'm just realizing I didn't ask what roast, but it tastes like a medium house roast, flavorful but pretty mild. Today's the first time I've ordered an espresso drink and it's a fantastic hazelnut latte. They definitely know their stuff. Perfect amount of tasty foam. Great flavor. Atmosphere is great too. As people have said it's kind of a modern decor but the seats and benches are all pretty comfortable. I'd highly, highly recommend to anyone looking for great coffee on the north end!

The most consistent coffee around. A lot of places are hit and miss with the coffee brewed that day, not here. I am a tall drip, no room ($1.52) and have to say I am never let down. Consistent and Delicious every time. Free WiFi, ample seating, good supporter of the community, and friendly staff. They offer fresh pastries and cookies, if you are interested left overs from day before are only $1.

You ever walk into a place and just feel at home? This is the essence of Walnut Street Coffee. The heartbeat of Edmonds with tons of locals just enjoying catching up with each other. I love the ham & cheese croissants. I love the big, round table. Nice, friendly people. Not stuffy at all :) I'll take this over Starbucks any day! And I don't even drink coffee.

New to the area, in search of breakfast that is budget friendly... At the Walnut, two can get a light breakfast for under $20...that's what we like. Breakfast sandwiches are tasty and healthy. Drip coffee, hot tea and espresso drinks are quite good. Nice variety of pastries. Friendly staff, who smile easily. Lovely neighborhood gathering spot. Open early, on weekends also. "garage" type door opens up half of the cafe for nice weather. Comfy seating and WiFi make it complete.

This place goes a little overboard on the ultra-modern motif, but it's still pretty cute and clean. I discovered it one random day while looking for coffee in the area. When I wandered in, the place was enormously busy with a huge, huge line. They handled it nicely, though, and before long they filled my cup up with my usual triple 16oz vanilla latte. I figured it'd be tasty due to the traffic the place was getting, but it really wasn't. Maybe I owe them a second chance, but I can't bring myself to do it. Maybe it was just because it was so busy, or somebody was having a bad day, but as it stands I think their coffee is pretty yucky. Sorry dudes.

I just came back from 2 weeks in Italy still having the taste for what a real cappuccino suppose to taste like not the crap you get at your local Starbucks. (One gallon of milk and a shot of burnt espresso, nice real nice) Thank God someone in the coffee capital knows how to make a wet cappuccino accompanied by a croissant that wasn't stale, wow what a concept (Starbucks take note). (they have dark chocolate filled croissants..yum) I plan on making my weekly visit to this small and friendly location in the quite town of Edmonds and I would suggest going their before Starbucks buys them out. PS I did not find any Starbucks in Italy.....I am sure you can figure out why.. Native Seattle Diner

This local coffee shop serves amazing drinks and the service is personal and professional. I absolutely love the decor and it is as comfortable as it is stylish! The owners, Pam and Steve, are wonderful people who make it their business to get to know their customer base, which is refreshing in an age of corporate coffee shops on every block.

This place knows how to make espresso. The drinks are prepared with care and taste full and fresh. They don't have that assembly line feel you get at starbucks. This is a great independent coffee shop and the best coffee for miles.

Such a nice, local place for coffee. The lattes are artfully prepared with a lovely fern pattern in the foam. The decor is modern yet warm, the walls adorned with the latest local artists' work. My family loves the ham and cheese croissants, the cookies and the black bean burritos, not to miss. The clientele is from all age groups, local retirees, tourists off the ferry, local families, local business people. The owner is always warm and friendly and knows her regular customers by name. And she knows her coffee.

Possibly one of the best bone dry cappuccinos I have ever had. So many places give you a half gallon of milk in your cappuccino even if you ask for it bone dry. Foam and Espresso for me please. I also had their Quinoa burrito, which was excellent.

My new favorite coffee shop north of Seattle. Definitely worth a couple block detour on your way to the Kingston ferry or if visiting Edmonds (heck just down the hill a bit from Costco). Vivace coffee served with a smile. Fair prices, nice pastries, free Wi-Fi if you have some time. Cool atmosphere and just a great indie change of pace from the usual suspects in the 'burbs. My only suggestion would be to please stay open in the early evening at least.

I am the type of person who gets upset just from looking at a Starbucks line. I have, in the past, trudged 9 blocks in downtown Seattle to find REAL espresso, passing every Tully's and Starbucks in my path! To me if you don't grind, dose, tamp, and pull the shots manually then you are NOT a real Barista. Yes, I am a Seattle Coffee Snob..... After working as a Barista for some of the best roasters around it can be quite a task to find a cafe capable of preparing drinks to the caliber I expect. One day while on our way to the park we stumbled across this hidden gem and to my delight the Baristas were foaming milk to velvety perfection, grinding fresh beans, pulling shots with rich crema, and embellishing each drink with a lovely rosetta!!! To top it all off they offer organic milk and a selection of vegan, gluten free, and natural pastries and snacks. In fact just writing about it is making me want to drive down there for a double short soy latte and one of their peanut butter oat bars. Mmmmmm........

I would consider myself somewhat of a coffee snob, I typically only drink coffee (mochas) from a select few local shops (Vivace being the main shop). I would add this shop to the list if I lived in Edmonds. Well above average coffee.

I remember watching them go in and thinking "just what the area needs, another coffee shop". With a Tully's nearby, plus a few indies in the area (and soon to be a Starbucks), I figured the area had saturation. Walnut Street Coffee, though, manages to be unique. Besides the Ikea-esque furnishings and bright, cheery, light-filled space, the layout is good (I never felt terribly crowded-take note Starbucks). The Vivace drip coffee was fine, and the pastries were tempting. I'll be back.

The Vivace coffee served at Walnut is delicious, with great latte art. We love to hang out here, read the paper, use the free wifi, and spend an Edmonds kind of day here (whether sunny or rainy). Pam is a warm and friendly owner, and her staff follow suit. The artwork is usually fun and whimsical, and the decor is hip yet comfortable. Even though it is only a few years old, Walnut has quickly become an Edmonds landmark.

This is hands down my favorite coffee house. What's not to love. The staff is super friendly. I love the decor. Free wifi. BEST coffee around. The coffee is from Vivace and the barista's know what they're doing. I'm so spoiled having this in town that I've turned into a coffee snob. If I don't buy my latte here, I use the beans I buy here to make my coffee at home. They sell the whole beans too and I won't use any other. The only downside is that is can get very crowded on the weekend.

i am only rating their chai. oh my god, it is so amazing that i am denouncing all other chais. There was a lovely layer of pillow-soft foam on top that left me gassy but happy. BUT WHAT THE EFF IS UP WITH CLOSING AT 6 PM?! One less star for you! *joy

Charming little coffee shop in Edmonds! Went here for the first time last weekend and the customer service was great, atmosphere was nice for studying, and the coffee was excellent! I was especially pleased to see Macrina Bakery pastries and organic milk options. I wish it was a little closer. I'd definitely go back if I am in the area again.

Might be a little biased since they do sell OSMOSIS Mint Water... but the coffee is truly outstanding, Pam the owner is wonderful and it has all the hometown goodness of Edmonds inside.

Ok. If we're just talking about the coffee, then I would give them 5 stars... but sometimes delicious coffee doesn't make up for attitude. I've gone there about 3 times now, at different times of day. I noticed SOME of the baristas are very friendly and attentive. That's not always the case. I went in the other day with my parents and sister who just moved here and I wanted to take them for coffee at a nice cozy place. We walked in and the girl barely made eye contact an seemed really distracted (even though it was quiet in there). As we tried to order, she walked away to start our drinks before we had finished ordering! Yes, we were ordering 4 drinks instead of 1, sorry. Then she acted like we were annoying her because we had to add to our order. If she had simply listened and let us finish, things would've gone a lot smoother. She had an "I'm way cooler than you and I don't care" kind of attitude. Grrr.... I felt bad for my parents and embarrassed for picking that place.

This is such a gem in 'downtown' edmonds. absolutely the best coffee anywhere! Pam has created a warm and welcoming spot for all, and pays such close attention to the pastries and snacks she sells. WSC is definitely worth a stop...better yet, make it a regular stop!

Love this place - one of the few hip places in Edmonds to hang out. The coffee is excellente and I love the blueberry scones (the little zest of lemon in the icing - yum) as does my 3 year old!
