Love the food! Jovanni was our waitress and she ROCKS! I suggest sitting in her section if you go! I had the pork chop and it was really really really GOOD!!

Updated to 5 stars, great place, pricey but worth it for big portions and great meals. I recommend the Louisiana chicken pasta.

We normally love TCF and as a person who once worked at one, I would expect the service to be better. It's the day after Valentine's Day and it is the brunch rush - I get that. So why doesn't management? Have more people to run tables. Our waitress forgot to punch in our appetizers and it was quite a long wait for our meals. We had our daughters with us and at least they got their meals in a somewhat timely manner. Parents, dining with kids is tough and we know their patience is minimal. So when we got our meals, our kids were already done with theirs. 2 stars because it's Cheesecake Factory. DINE ON SLOW DAYS. YOU'LL GET BETTER SERVICE.

Usually I like to keep a close watch on my waist line and my wallet, but on occasion I like to treat myself. I've been to this location several times over the years, and I can't say that I've ever had a negative experience. There are a lot of choices on the menu. This time around I ordered the chicken walnut salad sandwich, and it was quite good. It had a wonderful amount of flavor with toasted and buttered bread. To start though I got the cream of chicken soup that had plenty of white meat chicken and fresh vegetables. The salad was a smaller portion, and it was good as a side order. As usually is the case, the amount of food you receive could feed several people! I guess I have a tendency to order too much! I thought that the service here is great. Our waiter was friendly and speed of delivery was really quick!

Excellent service! Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. All 6 of us didn't even have to open the menu. She stayed focused and gave great service despite having worked 16 hrs straight! My Cajun jambalaya pasta came quick despite how busy it was. It was delicious, chicken was tender, shrimp was perfect. No complaints, just right. I ordered extra sauce like I always do cause I like my pasta extra saucy. The bacon burgers my buddies ordered were awesome too. They loved them. Someone else at my table ordered tacos and said they weren't as good as normal, but I'm not sure what his standard of normal was. The mixed drinks were excellent. Cheesecake Factory normally does a great job with these. Not a fan of their beer choices though. I'd like to see craft beer here one day, but this a chain so the gotta stick to their menu. Overall a great experience.

Classic! You can never go wrong with the Factory! Been coming to the Factory for years and I'm never disappointed! Their Green Tea is the best I've ever had! Happy Hours specials are awesome! Their chicken wings, buffalo blast (MUST TRY), steak, chicken, pasta, Salmon everything is well seasoned and prepared! One on my favs for about 10 years now!

Open on Easter? I was actually really surprised that they were open on Easter Sunday. I know that many restaurants are but didn't expect Cheesecake Factory to be one of them. The food here is good, we ordered the quesadillas as an app and I stuck with my go to meal, Thai Lettuce Wraps! Nom Nom Nom. We ordered some Margaritas and they were amazing! The waiter asked for them to add some Jose in there and boy did they had Jose! Haha... Yummmm! We got to sit outside which was nice but it was just a tad bit windy. It's a great place for outside seating over the next couple months. If you're ever at the mall, be sure to stop by here for a nice meal! Plan ahead though because you will have to wait for hours sometimes.

Hungry after a long day of shopping, saw Cheesecake Factory and figured, "Why not?" It's the Cheesecake Factory, so you pretty much know what to expect: a phonebook-thick menu full of mostly mediocre offerings, average to above-average service, and really good cheesecake. My general rule for chain restaurants with huge menus is to play it safe. Stick to the standards as these are the items that are ordered most often; the cooks have the most experience preparing them and the ingredients are likely to be fairly fresh as they have to be reordered regularly. Seafood (that isn't dipped in batter and fried) and pretty much anything healthy are always big no-nos in my book. My girlfriend followed the play-it-safe rule and ordered the chicken piccata. I, fresh off my shopping high, decided to throw caution to the wind and have the firecracker salmon with a side of sweet potato fries. Almost immediately after placing the order, I began to have second thoughts. (Why didn't I just get the fettuccini alfredo like always?) But when the meals arrived, my fears were allayed. My dish, salmon wrapped in spinach and fried in a crispy wonton, was pretty good. The sweet chile sauce that came with was a bit too saccharine for my blood, so I avoided it. Because it was an appetizer, I polished it off pretty quickly and spent the rest the time trying to put a dent in the humongous plate of fries that I received. The gf seemed happy with her meal. Of course the portion was huge, so she boxed up half to take home. The highlight of the meal would be put off for a few hours more. As always, I ordered a slice of strawberry cheesecake for the two of us to enjoy at home. (I rarely dine at CF anymore, but I stop in at least once a month to grab a slice of cheesecake. Strawberry is my go-to, but their more exotic flavors are pretty good as well. Even now, I'm looking forward to pumpkin coming back in the fall. But I digress...) I ordinarily find CF to be a 3-star establishment, and this probably would have been a 3-star meal if not for our server (I wish I had remembered her name). She was sweet, professional, and seemed to always be around without hovering. My gf drinks water like a camel, and at many places, servers give up trying to keep her glass full. Not the case here, as her glass never went empty and all of our other needs were attended to as soon as they arrived. It's amazing how much the upgrade from adequate server to excellent server impacts the restaurant experience. Thanks mainly to the service, this experience exceeded expectations.

First and last time eating at this restaurant! Waited a long time for our order, my order was wrong even the fries were bad... We got our meal free, but it made me realize I won't go back to try The Cheese Cake Factory.

The food is pretty good the service is ok. I feel that service takes a while to get. It's always a wait and once you get to the table I feel they take while. The time I wait doesn't really effect this review because they are a busy restaurant. I feel that every time that I have gone to this restaurant it has an overwhelming menu and the food is ok but not great. I have tried different menu items and have never been really impressed.

  • Joyce M.

Food is great but the service was very slow. I truly believe that our server forgot to input our order and simply states that they were very busy. They need to have some kind of system in place where they follow up on orders placed.

In my history with Cheesecake Factory, I have never been so insulted. After rushing over from Bonefish Grille (read previous review), we came in to enjoy the brunt end of HH for my birthday. We sat at the bar and a friend waved to the waiter to usher him over to take our orders. Our waiter (I can't remember his name, but he was talk and thin with a pony tail and a pale face). We all (5 of us) ordered drinks and since it was 6:30p, we ordered in twos. A couple if us, who didn't enjoys Bonefish's offerings, ordered food off the HH menu: corn cakes, southwestern rolls. A few times we looked for our waiter to to ask for things like: place settings (none if us had any) and to reorder. Once we had to stop another waiter to have him grab our waiter for us because we hadn't seen in 20 minutes prior. At some given point, that annoying "happy birthday" song was requested to be sung. Well, minutes ticked on. We were finished eating and drinking and heard happy birthday sung to two other parties. I walked over to the cheesecake bar and chose one (this ain't the first time I didn't get a cake, might as well get it for myself). Finally a friend called over our waiter, "Excuse me! Excuse me" the waiter stopped and took one look at her face and said and I quote, "Ooooooh Shoooooooooooooooooot!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And walked away. Five minutes later, he came back with he colleagues and a small round of whip cream and chocolate. Really. My friends were pressed to call for the manager, but I was over it and the waiter didn't come back after the happy birthday song" A friend of mine said, "I knew not to come to this cheesecake factory! The last time I was here I found a bolt in my nachos!" And there you have it. Note: this is not an exaggeration, but a true depiction of the event. 3 stars for the food and drinks.

Well, the sale ends at 10 tonight for the half priced piece of cake...but since yesterday was mom's birthday, I thought it would be nice for Granddaughter to pick up her a cake...so I call at 4:42 to order a whole cake, and was left on hold for 15 minutes. They said it would be ready by 6:30. At 6:35 I walked in the door, and the line was too long for someone who had worked all-day...and called ahead. There was NO walk up to pick up line, and once I got to the front, I had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Hey Cheesecake people, what's the point in calling in an order if you just going to treat me like everyone else. I'ma need you to do better! For that little stunt, you get 2 stars!

Come here often and get the same thing each time (don't judge lol). I get the chicken potstickers and the chicken Costelleta. Great meal. Occasionally I get a slice of red velvet cheesecake. Crowded on the weekends. The wait is pretty standard for most restaurants in this area. Staff are pleasant.

I have recently returned to Cheesecake since my previous experience I discussed on Yelp and I'm happy I gave them a second chance. Service had improved 150% since my first experience here. I've gotten to try a lot more menu options which have all been delicious. Everyone should try the fried mac and cheese.

The Cheesecake Factory closest to me recently moved so I was excited to get a chance to eat here after outlet shopping. As with all the CF's, the interior is pretty and the set up is pretty much the same. Also just like the other CF's there was a considerable wait. Luckily I got there a little early (maybe 6 pmish) and for a party of 2, it was 20 mins. The one thing I wish they would change is the table size. There just isn't enough room. Never. Esp if you have water glasses plus any beverage plus sugar, salt, pepper plus bread basket... and let's not go into the panic mode when an entree comes and you're not quite done with your appetizer. My go to meal is the pasta da Vinci or chicken marsala. I got the pasta and it was just as good. The house salad appetizer is so big that when I tried to order 2, the waitress actually recommended I get one and split it. And about the waitress - she was awesome. Huge portions for a fair price. And that darn small table..... But yes I love CF!

I am not a fan of the Cheesecake Factory and tonight's visit only served as reinforcement to that belief. I arrived at 5:30 pm to meet a friend and hoping that we were too early for the dinner rush but that was not the case. I elbowed my way to the hostess stand only to be told that the wait for a table would be at least 40 minutes. SMH... So I elbowed my way back through the crowd and over to the bar, which was also jammed packed with people. There was not a seat to be had nor hardly a place to stand. The only thing that kept me there was my promise to meet my friend. I sucked it up, took a deep breath and waited patiently to bell up to the bar hoping that a libation would take the edge off a smidge. All the while, the restaurant continued to fill with a hoard. At long last, after over 50 minutes of waiting (I was originally told 40) we were seated. Our server was pleasant and greeted us quickly. He was wonderful, very personable, attentive and quick to deliver. I perused the vast, vast menu with a multitude of items that are almost entirely overpriced. I ordered the loaded baked potato soup and crab bites. Both items were OK, but considering that I lost an hour of my life waiting for a table, not entirely worth it. We also had pumpkin and red velvet cheesecake and they were delicious but not good enough to warrant the wait. OK food for an hour wait? No thanks Cheesecake Factory, I'll try the independent guy down the street.

Sooooo good! I love The Cheesecake Factory!! Always great service here and we usually get served sooner than stated. Everything on the menu is delicious so it's hard to choose. If I could get their bread served to me all day I'd be good with that! I recently ordered the Georgia Peach drink and highly recommend you try it! All I can say is that you won't be disappointed.

I love the Chinese Chix Salad with the noodles on top. The salad is always dressed perfectly. I have gotten the salad with avocado replacing the chicken. Also excellent. YUM!!! Great place. Great food.

I'm always apprehensive of restaurants that have a 15-page menu. I've been three times and the food is very ordinary, but, yet the place is crowded. I don't get it.

Well I usually enjoy TCF, but this last time was not good. We decided to come here on a weekday afternoon. The place was practically empty and we thought it would be nice since it's usually so crowded. First off, the hostess was not welcoming; I thought that was their job? Anywho...on to our table and the server was pleasant enough but she rarely checked in on us. Our food took way too long for some fried shrimp and fried chicken fingers. On top of that, our food was fried extremely hard, which made it very dry. I'm not giving up on TCF, but the last time was not pleasant.

Always good service. Good food. I always order the factory combination and sometimes mix it up with the salmon, shrimp, steak and chicken. I love their bread as well.

This one is located outside the Potomac Mills Mall area. So at 3:30pm on a Sat it already had a 30 min wait. However, we didn't wait that long to get our table. Server was super friendly and stayed on top of whatever we needed. The menu is so huge. We tend to order the same things over and over b/c you couldn't ever really try it all without gaining 100 pounds. ' My kids got kid meals. And here, they are enough. The side mac and cheese ROCKS. We always get a side of it and fight over every bite. The Chicken 'little' plate....has 8-10 tenders plus mashed potatoes and succotash. The hubby and I split this and couldn't finish it. I think next time we will just get 1 of these for all of us lol. I will say, it's pricey but you get a lot of food. Even the lunch portions could be shared. Every person walking out had a bag of leftovers. And the cheesecakes. Our favorite is the Adam's peanut butter cup. However, the Dulce de Leche yesterday was really yummy. It's light compared to the Adam's flavor wise, but it was so tasty you wanted more and more. The Oreo is my son's favorite and of course he had leftovers....these slices are huge portions and should be shared. We ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough not knowing there were nuts on top. Ended up bringing it home and someone will eat it today ;) The bathrooms are small for the size of this place and the crowds it brings. As usual we had an excellent meal at this restaurant....they are very consistent in all locations we have visited.

My daughter and I just had lunch at the CF. The food was decent (I ordered the sausage/shrimp rigatoni pasta (sausage was burnt throughout dish), but I was very perturbed that I was given a menu for drinks without prices. I ordered a glass of sangria from the skinny menu, and the price was hardly skinny. I was charged $11 for a glass of mediocre sangria, if a restaurant is going to charge prices like that for one beverage, the price should be listed on all menus. My entree' was only $12.95, that surprise in bill will cause me not to return to CF anytime soon.

Okay, I know people hate on chains and definitely a lot of hate rains on The CF buuuuuut i caaaaaaan't helllllllllllp ittttt!!!! The Thai Lettuce Wraps are my fave...any time, any time. The Limocello Cake...no, i don't do the cheesecake...at Cheesecake...is the JAM. I don't even care that they don't make any of their cakes in-house, it's flipping amazing. I only dream of the day I could experience a fresh-out-the-oven version. Pair that with a cappuccino...makes my day. The wait time is always tricky at any location but I didn't have any issues at this this one. Server was great...I can't remember his name D: but he was charming, funny, fast, and gay. Loved him, left a big, fat tip ;)

What is Cheesecake Factory? Well let's see. First, it's a restaurant where you can come to when you don't know what you have a taste for OR you have a taste for everything.. Either way, you're in business. The biggest dilemma you'll have at any Cheesecake Factory is finally deciding on what you're going to eat. From all the restaurants I've had the pleasure to dine at, this by FAR has the most extensive menu. If you want to be trendy and do a "mezze" style meal, Cheesecake Factory has more than enough small plate offerings to accomplish this feat. If you want American, Mexican, Italian, seafood, meat and potatoes, Cheesecake Factory has you covered! Today I was trendy and decided to do several small plates so I had the crab and artichoke dip, the dynamite shrimp and the tuna tartare and avocado. I have always enjoyed Cheesecake Factory's food but for some reason I REALLY enjoyed it today.. Everything was great! I really wish Yelp would offer a .5 because this particular Cheesecake Factory would definitely get a 4.5 star. I know from my review you're wondering why didn't I give this place a flat out 5?? Funny you ask.. Lol Well our waiter, who was great, actually brought me crab dip instead of the crab cakes that I asked for but since we were grabbing a bite before a movie date and time was of the essence, I chose to keep the dip and scratch the cakes. I'm a big fan of the dip but my mouth did want the cakes.. Thus the 4! Ultimately, another fine dining experience at good ole Cheesecake Factory!

I have been here a few times (Fair Oaks and Potomac Mills) and when you come here, you come to eat. No BS about skinny food, this is about eating until you cannot eat anymore and then your punk ass keeps eating. Salad dodgers stay away. The pasta is good, the cheese cake is to die for and the service is decent. I suggest you get a booth, the tables that are next to each other are not very private, the bar area is okay but if you want some privacy, get a booth. Simply put, EVERYONE leaves here w/ a doggy bag. The servings are family size and if you finish it in one sitting you should consider counseling. I have had the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken with pasta. Its good food, you cannot go wrong. The calamari is crisp but not too greasy. The meatloaf is excellent. In the end, there is not a bad item o the menu. The portions are HUGE. Get the cheese cake or any of the deserts.

Ate there last night and the experience was average. Nothing really 'special' with their service and had several flaws on the food execution. First off, we ordered shrimp jambalaya and the rice was uncooked. The waiter also failed to ask how spicy my companions wanted their food, so they had to endure really spicy food last night. The complaints were addressed to the waiter and was resolved immediately. Secondly, we're veterans coming to Cheesecake Factory and the first thing they normally provide is their signature warm bread and butter. That wasn't offered at all, but provided once we asked during middle of our dining. Overall, I still like coming to any Cheesecake Factory because of their yummy cakes and their selection. I don't particularly fond of this chain restaurant but it's the only in the area.

If someone asked me to describe our dining experience in a word, it would be unimpressed. Put our name in and went to walk the mall. Although we don't expect to be seated at precisely the time they give us, I do expect within say, 15 minutes of what we're quoted. Twenty five minutes after the initial 40 minute wait, we wade through the people to be seated. The lobby and entry was packed. The food was adequate, nothing spectacular. Service was adequate, again, nothing spectacular. For the price you pay and what you get, we won't be back.

Typical Cheesecake Factory restaurant. I like the Dulce de Leche cheesecake or the Bananas Foster. Food and service is pretty good. Pretty long wait on the weekends and of course holidays.

I would have to say this time was really bad! Always had a great service from Tyson's Corner. Kids wanted Cheesecake after we went to Red robin for dinner. Service was slow. Finally get our dessert and they brought a piece that's been sittin out. Cheese cake was warm. When I ask the server to change for another piece he said no problem I will get u a fresh slice. Waited and waited!! Finally I walk up to the counter and ask the server and he said I'm sorry we are very busy and he is waiting...... I would give them 1 star for attitude the other server had. Cheese cake was good after it was fixed and I would have to say it was different from Tyson's Corners cheese cake factory! But I still have to say Red Velvet cheese cake is the best!!

Ultimate fail once again. Burnt food, long wait for recook, tasteless replacement and topped off with a rude manager (Jermel). Had a very similar visit about a year ago and shame on me for trying to come back again. Won't happen again.

This has to be the smallest CF location on earth. But it is CF so the food is good. The menu is pretty extensive. Haven't ordered anything I didn't like. The portions are massive yet prices are reasonable. Save space for dessert. Their cakes are just as good as their cheesecakes.

Two stars for my cheese cake and glass of wine I ordered. I am not a fan of Cheesecake Factory but it was a convenient place to meet my friend at the time. She had soup and some sort of crab ball that appeared to be from a bag and very dry. She barely touched her potato soup that she ordered a cup of, but got a large bowl served to her instead. The place was crowded. They don't stop folks with strollers and people standing around the tables chatting while waiting to be seated. One lady was even leaning up against my seat. Our waiter was a cutie and very friendly, of course very rushed. He did his best with all he had to deal with. I won't be going back, due to the crowd, the overpriced and not very appealing food. The cheesecake was ok, but I have had great cheesecake at other places. Such as Costco or BJs Wholesale Club. :) Apologies to my friend, for this was my poor choice.

They shouldn't even call it the Cheesecake Factory. You never make it to the cheesecake! That's because you will stuff (yes, stuff) your face is every delicious entry on the menu. You honestly can't go wrong. The Grub: The Dark Bread (Free with Meal): A+ This honestly may be the best bread I've had. I literally ate a whole loaf on my own and had NO SHAME is requesting 4 more for the table. I ate so much bread I had no room for cheesecake. The Chipotle Chicken Pasta ($11.95 lunch special): A This is a heap of flavorful chicken cooked in delicious vegis and a beautiful cheese. I am having it as leftovers for dinner tonight. Huevos Rancheros ($11.95). D Nothing really special at all. When they say "spicy ranchero sauce" they mean "not spicy at all." Cheesecake Kahlua® Cocoa Coffee Cheesecake: ($8) B AMAZING Cheesecake (don't get me wrong) but is it worth $8? No. That means I have to go back and try more. My only complaint is the prices (expensive) though you get a load of food, and it's definitely worth the cost, so just know what you're getting yourself into.

We came a little after 1pm on a Tuesday, it wasn't too busy but where they sat us was horrible all I could hear was dishes crashing or breaking every few minutes. Food was okay, I think I like the Tyson's location better. As always the cheesecake was on point! If you like pineapple you should definitely try the pineapple upside down cheesecake it's sooooo good! I would go again just to pick up that cheesecake for take away.

Great way to celebrate a birthday dinner! Everyone was so polite and the food was delicious. The Chicken Bellagio is to die for! Beverages were a little pricey, but overall it was an excellent dinner. The Dulce de Leche milkshake will go down as a smooth dessert.

The wait is ridiculous, had to wait over an hour to get seated. As far as the price goes, it is as ridiculous as the wait. Don't mind investing money for the tummy only of the food is out of this world and the Cheesecake Factory definitely does not have the out-of-this-world experience for the taste buds. Orders: Herb Crusted Salmon: SUPER dry and bland Cashew Chicken: Ginormous chicken peices, 2 stars from the taste buds Spicy Chipotle Chicken pasta: lots of penne pasta with lots of asparagus and super sweet chicken. The name is as deceiving as the weather in Virginia. Cajun Jambalaya: Probably the only best dish on the menu. Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp: OH LORD! Thought it would be somewhat decent and spicy...the immense amount of coconut milk and sugar definitely leaves a bang in the mouth. I can probably substitute this particular dish with one of their cheesecakes. I give it a 10/10 on the sweet-o-meter.

There cheesecake are really good! I don't like there menu as much honestly. The only 2 things I have liked were the nachos and there jambalaya pasta. That pasta is delicious! It's a bit pricy but the place is nice and service is good. The wait can take a while depending on when you go.

This rating is based on the service we received here. My husband, son, and myself walked in dressed casually 11:45am on a weekday. The hostess just looked at us, didn't greet us at all. We stood there for a good solid 5 minutes before we realized she wasn't going to communicate with us at all. She kept staring at us but never said Welcome or if there was a wait. There were people eating in the restaurant, but it wasn't packed at all. 1 star rating for the major disappointment. The hostess was a female, light skin with dark hair, glasses, and that day was wearing a wine colored lipstick.

This is an A-ok restaurant. You cannot make a reservation and it is usually packed. The food is decent, but the cheesecake is the main attraction in my opinion. This is a great group style restaurant with good drinks.

Been to 3 or 4 different Cheesecake Factories and I have to say this is my least favorite one so far. Service was so-so and we had to wait forever for our food and also for our pre-made cheesecake to be plated and for our check. The taste of the food was good minus both my pasta & my sister-in-laws pasta being undercooked (and hers severely lacking sauce), but who would send it back after you had to wait 45 mins for it? Probably would go somewhere else for lunch next time were in the area.

  • Ryshelle L.

As always, there was a wait, but only for 2 of us. They said 15 minutes max, we waited for just 15 minutes- which i was not upset about. The wait was definitely worth it! The service was great! Our server was new & in training, but he was very attentive & his costumer service skills were excellent. He knew what was on the menu & had ideas on what to reccommend. My friend & I got both got steak, seperate meals. One included being smothered in onions & mushrooms & mine being just a plain ole steak. Unfortunately, our meals were mixed up & both of our steaks were cooked wrong. We were at least able to switch plates & be happy that way. On the plus side, everything was still super delicious so we didnt bother sending our food back. We both ate our entire meals, but the worst thing about eating out is when you order a steak & it's not cooked the way you like it. All in all, it was a great experience & again, the food was very tasty! Highly reccommend, we will definitely be visiting again.

After you get on the waiting list go straight to the bar area to see if there is a table open. There are six 4 person tables and 8 bar stools for a first come first seating. They tend to be quicker in serving your meal. Fantastic place to try different dishes. Music perfect for the ambiance, conversation level can get pretty loud. Sweet corn tamales cakes are fantastic. Hibachi steak has the right spices for an awesome main coarse. Any of the deserts will make you smile. Today would be a great evening to sit outside.

If you've ever been to a Cheesecake Factory, then you know it's always crowded. That problem is even worse at the Potomac Mills location because of its size. It is much smaller than most Cheesecake Factories which makes the wait times much longer. We never even attempt to sit in the dining area (and we probably never will). Instead, we go to the bar area so we can start our meal immediately. But even the bar area has had a wait every time we've been. People literally hover around people's tables/behind their seat at the bar, waiting for them to finish their meal and get up. I have been guilty of this as well, but it's still unpleasant. I give this location 3 stars just because Cheesecake Factory's menu is so expansive and varied. I love getting a few small plates to share and topping it off with one of their cheesecakes. But something has to change about these outrageous wait times and crowded waiting areas.

Came up here from the Fredburg on Sunday afternoon for some lunch and shopping with friends and family. First off let me just say that I am a sucker for cheesecake. It is by far my favorite dessert and if I cannot manage to eat a slice I did something wrong. On this occasion I did no wrong. First off we arrived around noon and expected a wait of over 30 minutes and to our surprise it was only 20. We had a party of 5 including 1 child. We were sat in a very spacious booth. I do not believe I have ever sat in a booth where I was not elbow to elbow with the person next to me. I already knew at this point I was going to enjoy this meal. The service was awesome. The waitress we had (I cant remember her name and I am really bad at this as you see in other posts) was on top of her game. Drinks were filled and food was quick. She was very personable and friendly. She definately worked for her tip. Now onto the fooooood. Appetizers - 2 fried mac and cheese balls orders and 1 buffalo blast. Meals- Some type of chicken and pasta for my friend, his wife had brunch with pancakes and eggs and bacon, my daughter kids quesadilla, my wife a cobb salad and myself a bacon bacon cheeseburger yes thats double bacon! And then there was the cheesecakes but thats later... The fried mac and cheese balls are our go to app. These are addicting and very delicious. The dish comes with 4 balls of mac and cheese on top of a sauce. Once you break a ball open and the mac and cheese pours out into the sauce game on. Each bite makes you want more and for the experience not to end. Highly recommend. The buffalo blast surpringly were really food. They were fried and in the middle was like a buffalo chicken dip. They came with buffalo sauce and blue cheese. They do come with a little extra fried exterior then our liking but I ate every bite I had. They had a nice kick to them. On to the meals. Chicken pasta was massive and friend couldnt finish said it was good but thats all I got out of it. His wife loved the brunch and kept prasing the pancakes. Kids quesadilla was huge! My daughter enjoyed it. My wifes lunch cobb salad was massive! I cant imagine what a dinner sized salad looks like. This salad could be split between 3 people. Now for my bacon bacon cheeseburger which the waitress recommended out of my choices. I got it medium rare which is my go to meat temp. It was so good and juicy. Im salavating right now thinking about it. The 2 different cuts of bacon make the burger. Once was cripsy the other was thick cut and so much flavor. It came with a special sauce which was the icing on the cake. I crushed the burger. O and I got a side salad instead of fries. Balsalmic Vinegarette is my go to and the salad wasnt your tradtional salad you get at most restaurants. Not bad but that burger and the bacon mmmmmmmm I havent even touched on the cheesecake yet. We ended up taking cheesecake to go since we were stuffed. My wife ordered the reeses peanut butter cup and I switch mine up everytime and went with the chocolate chip cookie dough. My wife loved hers and for me.....sigh I wish I didnt eat it so fast... It was soo good. Creamy cheesecake and cookiedough ramdomly placed throughout the slice. I love both. I dont think you can wrong with any of the cheesecakes. I think this is enough of the review. If you made it all the way to this paragraph congrats! I will continue coming back and will try another slice of the incredible cheesecake.

My friends & I last night to celebrate a birthday where we had a rather large party of 13. We waited about an hour (typical) for the table. This location has a substantially smaller indoor dining area than the Fair Oaks or White Flint locations BUT they have an outdoor patio! The broiler caught on fire & we were told that the steak & burger wouldn't come. So the 2 people ordered something else but then the steak & burger still came out? When everyone else had been served, 3 more friends waited 30 minutes for their chicken dishes & a pasta dish! The shrimp pasta was eventually served cold & 2 others still waited on the chicken! We were seated at 7:45pm, my friends didn't get their food until almost 9! It was so late & upset that they barely touched their food. We complained to the manager, who only comped 2 meals & 2 cheesecakes. ??? There were 3 LATE meals! We were sympathetic to the waiter, who busted his tail, trying to keep us happy even though he already got his automatic 18% gratuity for the large party. Fortunately, I enjoyed my Bang Bang Chicken & Shrimp (not to confused with Bonefish Grill's Bang Bang Shrimp) but managed to only eat half of it. Hubby ate all of his Shrimp & Chicken Gumbo. I have visited 3 different CFs in the WDC area & they manage to screw up the dinner order every time! What's even more pathetic is that I keep going back because it's other people's preferences to go there. The wait is always long (opt to sit at the bar & you'll only wait 20 minutes), the food is overpriced, although portions are large. Stick to the bar & cheesecakes. Thought I would test my bartender's knowledge on cocktails so I ignored the fancy mojitos, margaritas & martinis and ordered a Negroni. The bartender didn't know what it was but she made it perfectly. I tipped her well for not effing it up. And is it me or did the cheesecake pieces get smaller?

Bar group is very friendly and nice. Excellent food. Decently priced not to bad. The food is of excellent quality and extremely delicious. The staff is very friendly and accomodating to your needs. They keep the drinks coming and the bread rolling. Deff would recommend it. Just be cognizant of the lines and times

STAY AWAY FROM THE BRUNCH MENU!!!! I've tried their brunch 4x and each time it gets worse. The first time I had the Belgium waffle and eggs Benedict. Awesome but pricey and took FOR-EV-ER ( the sandlot pronunciation). 2nd time I was treating friends from the UK who absolutely wanted to try it as they heard about it from "The Big Bang Theory". They were throughly disappointed so was I. The Belgium waffle was ok just room temperature. After the wait I ate it as I didn't have time to wait. My third trip was a phone in order in which I waited 20 minutes for. The manager brought it out to my car apologized and gave it to me free. When I got home I wish I would have gave it back. Ugh! Today I was craving that waffle. It came out lukewarm along with the poorly scrambled eggs, tough bacon and dry breakfast potatoes. Why did I set myself up again??? I may buy the waffle and go to Bob Evans for the rest. This is madness! I'd advise you come for the cheesecake it's supposed to be cold, they get that right everytime!

Went twice in two days, sat at bar one day and table the next - service was great, the chicken sliders are addictive! I didn't find the cheesecake to be that great, I prefer graham crust on my key lime cheesecake.

Wait to long to get serve.....over 20' only for the drinks. We spoke with the manager but took to long for everything, I hope my kids they don't ask again to go over this place. Recommendation: If they see empty table ask if someone serve...!!!! And get a better training....

No reservations and two hour wait to be seated, not a problem. Our server took our order, and we waited another 40 minutes for our food, we never got bread, or saw our server. Our entree came out before our appetizer, not a problem, our appetizer came out, and so did the manager. She was really nice and listened very well. When we ordered our desert for dine in, and our server brought it to us, to go, with the check. I am usually pretty laid back, but I will not be eating here again.

The waiter was cool, and the food was good, but the service was very slow. What also caught my attention was that I tried to order something on the menu, but the waiter said that it was only available during lunchtime, and the menu itself didn't say that. Therefore I had to change my order at the last minute.

We went to this Cheesecake Factory today. My friend called in advance and said were 9 people, can we make a reservation? They said they don't take reservations but they're not full anyways so no wait. We went there, 9 people and waited.... And waited.... The sister kept saying the table paid and should be leaving shortly. 1 full hour later he was negotiating putting us all in 1 booth, made for 6. We finally left and went to bahama breeze across the street. I will never go back to this branch again. He shouldn't said we can't accommodate 9 instead of making us wait for an hour.

Horrible service. Waited 20 minutes heifer our waitress even came to our table. Waited 10 to actually get our drinks. Never got bread till our food came. Just all around bad service.

5 stars because this is the best Cheesecake Factory I've been too! Both of our dishes had so much flavor. We were both pleasantly surprised. The portions are huge so you can easily make 2 meals out of it. It tasted great the next day as well. The menu is a bit huge so it's hard to narrow it down and the seats are a bit too close to each other but every Cheesecake Factory is like that. When want Cheesecake Factory it'll be this one!

  • Cathy C.

Definitely love the shepherd's pie, but make sure you order the lunch menu size, because portions are huge. Even the smaller size is ridiculously filling, but it's meat and potatoes, so if you're going to eat that, skip the appetizer. The only negative thing I can say about the place is that it can get crazy busy during peak lunch / dinner times, so try to get there when it first opens or be prepared to wait a little. Also, never skip on the cheesecakes!

Cheesecake Factories are great for two things: cheesecakes and a big menu. They have so many selections to choose from. Take it from me, their menu is about the size of a phone book (wait, what's that?) Never mind - I just dated myself. Anyways, there's so many selections it would be bordering on insane if you couldn't find something for everyone. This location suffers bad from size and location. The wait here is usually atrocious especially if you show up on the weekend. Day, or night it doesn't matter. You show up at this location, you are going to wait for a seat. The food there is pretty good, not one of a kind excellent - but perfect for finding a spot that is a cut above the ordinary, but substantially under super expensive. If you want to find a place that looks and feels "high end" and no one can decide what kind of food they want - this is a solution. Freshly baked bread in a basket is served with every meal and the service is above ordinary. Typical wait service for a higher end restaurant, the servers recite the specials of the day and offer suggestions according to customer input. Our waiter was very attentive and made several return trips to make sure we were ok. We started off sharing a mango Daiquiri. It was a delicious fruit-inspired quencher that was tangy yet sweet and had only a hint of the taste of spirits. I sampled the Famous Factory Meatloaf and found it done well, but not as good as I had hoped - certainly not good enough to be characterized as "famous". My wife had the Fettuccine w/ Chicken & Sun Dried Tomatoes. What came was a bowl full of wide egg noodles with a light glaze, chicken breast and a hint of dried tomato slices. Again, while the dish was good, it was nothing special...but at the same time I can't say that it was bad either. As the name suggests, the best thing they do is cheesecake. These delicious concoctions need no review so I will not even touch on them. Let's just say we ordered three slices of different varieties and it erased the bland dinner experience to the point that I almost forgot to review the sum of the entire visit.

I am a big fan of Cheesecake Factory. it is always great everywhere I visit. We were starving and needed something to take the hunger away before we went power shopping at the Potomac Mill mall. The menu had a lot of small plates and even offered a "skinny" menu. That was something that was new that I'd never seen before. Our waitress was really nice. We asked for the "brown" bread and she told us that it was still baking but that she would bring it out as soon as it was ready. She stayed true to her word because she brought it out to us 10 minutes later. She checked on us frequently and helped us to split the bill four ways. We really liked her. Seating was comfortable in their super sized booth seats. We enjoyed our visit here.

Food was good but service is definitely not on par. When we got there (I took my 2 friends out for one of their birthday) we got thai wraps, alfredo, and some other items and it was good. Down side is that our waitress really didn't pay attention to us as she went by several times. We got our apps AFTER the people who got seated after us got their meal. Drinks didn't get refilled and we sat around for a loooong time before our order was taken. I would expect better service from Cheesecake Factory so this was a bit of a disappointment. I know that it is in the mall area so there will be lots of people but c'mon, it has been open for a while now, there is no excuse as to why there was poor and lack of service.

This restaurant chain gives off a facade of upscale dining with a ridiculous menu that is over 10-pages covered with advertisements and the most unpleasant congregation of employees. Cheesecake Factory, please, reevaluate your criteria before sending your waiters/waitresses to work at your establishments. My friend and I ended up waiting well over the usual wait time for a table at Cheesecake because the host had us waiting for a party of 4. The server brought out 4 plates and 4 drinks even after we told the incompetent employees SEVERAL TIMES that it will just be the 2 of us. The girl who was our server seemed lazy and uninterested being there. She only stopped by our table two times; to order our food and to leave the check. When she left the check she just walked by and slid it on our table without a single word. We had to stop her as she was walking by because my friend ordered a chicken that she felt was a little under cook and the waitress took one of the four appetizer plates that was stacked up at the end of the table and BRUSHED OFF THE BREAD CRUMBS WITH HER HANDS and asks my friend to put the chicken on the plate. Her excuse was, "OH, IT'S RED LIKE THAT BECAUSE IT'S NEAR THE BONE." She never came back with the chicken, instead a kitchen boy brought it back BURNT AND FLAKY IN A TAKE OUT BOX after we were close to paying our bill. The second time was several days ago, for my friend's birthday. We just sat near the bar so we wouldn't have to wait for a table. It was going ok until we met our rather clumsy waitress. She brought our silverware, but no menu, asked if we wanted drinks and bread, but no bread plates. We ended up eating the bread with just our hands. Other guests who came in after us were getting their appetizers way before us. She never came back to refill our drinks, which seems like an on going trend at this place. We had to ask the two servers who brought out the appetizers for plates and refills. That's when our waitress decided to stop by and say thanks to her coworkers who helped and walked on as if we weren't even there. What really annoys me is that we saw about four other birthdays going on and our waitress says, "so.. are you still interested in something for your birthday? It's just a small cup of dessert that's only enough for two bites." We left disappointed and I will never come here again.

The best thing about CF is that you know what you're getting: consistently good food, a huge, varied menu, large portions, and great cheesecake. That said, you have to pick your time well. We just went on a Sunday morning, around 10:45am, and the place was practically empty. Score! Our server was efficient and friendly, but not overly so. Between the two of us, the fried shrimp appetizer and bread basket had us halfway to full. I was only able to eat a bit of my fried chicken salad and hubs barely touched his pasta. It's nice to have leftovers, but next time, we'd probably skip the apps to really enjoy our meal. My favorite cheesecake is usually the Banana, but this time, I was too stuffed to even consider it.

This is place is always busy out the door! The interior is nice and spacious. Parking can be a hassle since it's located right outside one of the entrances to Potomac Mills Mall. Even though the place is busy I have to stop by and grab dessert. The mango key lime cheesecake is so worth the wait! Delicious!

Because I spent $50 in gift cards at Christmas, I had two gift cards for myself for a slice of plain cheesecake. I came four different times to use them. Each time, the wait was over 2 hours though I tried odd times, 3pm, 8:30pm, etc. Today for dinner was my last shot because I thought they were good through the end of March. I should have looked more closely because the last day was March 29, not 31. The manager would rather let our entire party leave and eat dinner somewhere else than let us use these two measly cards. Like they aren't making enough money? To not accept a gift card expired by two days is like stealing imho. Gift cards are money already spent at the business, and we had all been planning on eating there tonight too. Well, not ever again.... It's just a chain, food's not that great. Worst wait times in Woodbridge, by far.

Where did CF hire all their staff, the local high school? Seriously, these kids acted like asking them a question was an imposition; could not even pay in a timely manner cause the girl was too busy twirling her hair and talking to her friend with her back to the cash register. And the waiter, i guess her couldn't bother to bend over to hear me, was I supposed to stand up to give him my order?? Given the current state of the economy, find a more mature staff who REALLY wants to be there!

I am rating this a 3 based mainly on the poor experience caused by a kitchen error last night. I want to say though that the staff response was excellent and that is why CF is still "A-OK" in my book. This is the email I sent to corporate this morning. "First, I would like to start out by saying that my husband and I go to cheesecake factory at least once every month or two and I go with my girlfriends monthly myself. Unfortunately, our meal experience was a disaster last night!!! My food came out more than 15 mins before my husband's food. I slowly ate my food, trying to wait until his came out. It was obviously cold by that time. We ended up missing our movie and having to pay for an extra hour of babysitting. - Disaster! THAT SAID! I am not writing to complain. I am writting to tell you that despite the kitchen error and the resultant set backs, we will still be returning to Cheesecake Factory in Woodbridge. Our Server - Andre, was friendly and compitent right from the start. The perfect mix of friendly, but not familiar. He made recommendations and gave the appropriate amount of time between check-ins and refills, etc. The problem came when the kitchen plated the wrong order. Andre explained this when he delivered my order. I would have liked the option to have both entrees delievered at the same time, but Im sure he didn't think it would take that long for the second. After several minutes he offered my husband a complimentary soup or salad while he waited, which he declined. After 15 mins, it was obvious that this was a real problem and Andre kindly addressed it and assured us the item would be removed from the bill. Shortly later the manager, Ozzie visited our table to extend his apologies and offered free cheesecake. We told him we were already running late and that was not necessary. He told us that they were open to 11 and that we were welcome to come back after the movie for our cheesecake. When we paid the bill, Ozzie had comped BOTH meals, which we told Andre was unnecessary. He was again gracious and apologetic and told us it was the least they could do. He was impressively polite and humble, explaining that though it was a kitchen mistake it represents him, and he represents CF and wanted to make sure our experience was enjoyable. At 1045 we returned, exhausted and running late for our babysitter. Ozzie met me at the bakery and though he had originally offered one free cheesecake, when I attempted to pay him for the second he declined, again apologizing for our experience. I have never been so impressed with a staff's handling of an inconvenience. They made my husband and I feel appreciated and respected and not like ungrateful, complaining customers. It is soley due to the response of your server and manager that my husband and I will return to this cheesecake factory. I hope you will commend them for thier good work, customer service, and pride in your business."

Been there four times (Woodbridge, VA Cheesecake Factory), and the food is great, however, very very slow service. All four times; took them at least ten minutes for the waiter/waitress to take our order just for drinks. Then it took another ten minutes just to bring them out. Food came out quicker than our drinks. I have no idea why it takes so long for the drinks, and I'm talking just regular soft drinks; nothing special. Additionally, they don't check back often to see if we are ok, need refills, napkins, etc. Finally, it takes forever to get our checks. All four times these things happened. Seemed like déjà vu. I almost think it's protocol. Food is good though. One more thing; floor is very slippery; be careful walking.

If you know Woodbridge, you know that it's TOO DAMN CROWDED! So, I expected that the opening of a new restaurant such as CF would cause lots of commotion and ridiculousness... and boy, I was right! I went in the week it opened and asked what the wait time was... 90 MINUTES!!! People were waiting to eat at a CHAIN restaurant for NINETY FREAKING MINUTES!!! Ridiculous! So then I had a day off. And I decided...hmmm... maybe the kids and I can make it in with a less ridiculous wait time. 30 minutes. Eh, it was 4 in the afternoon so I didn't mind waiting. Now, onto the service and the food... The service was EXCELLENT hence my four star rating even though CF is a chain restaurant. Drinks, bread & appetizers came out pretty quickly. There was a delay with my daughter's kobe burger, but the manager came over to explain that to me and then refilled our drinks and brought more bread. No big deal. The appetizers... I got both of the tuna appetizers and they were really good. I can't recall the names of them, but one was smaller with avocado and the other was like a carpaccio - you could just scrape it up with a spoon and eat it. Really yummy. I had the combination plate of shrimp scampi & steak dianne with mashed potatoes. I'm used to scampi being just as butter/garlic sauce... this one looks to have had some kind of cream added to it. It was different, but I liked it. My daughter liked her burger and my boys had the pizza... which they ravaged! LOL But hey, it's PIZZA and they are 10 and 5. Now, you simply cannot go to CHEESECAKE FACTORY and not try the cheesecake! Even though I was stuffed beyond belief, we got two pieces to share amongst the four of us. It was the Oreo Cookie thing-a-majig and the banana cream something or other. I really liked the banana one... it was so much better than the oreo one. Either way, both got devoured! Overall a good experience, but be mindful of when you decide to go!

mMm, a perfectly thin crispy chicken breast that's moist on the inside that still retains it's moisture. At least that's how I like my parmesan-crusted chicken. I just hate dry chicken. The wait is long but expected. I wish this place would allow you to at least call in advance and get seating. It was a 40 minute wait. Service was decent. The Louisiana chicken pasta (bow tie) replaced with spaghettini was good because the chicken was perfectly cooked crispy and thin and still soft and moist inside as stated above. Pasta was on the dry side with minimal flavors. I had to add salt to it (never really a good sign as I don't eat much salt) to make it more palatable. Others in my party substituted the pasta with rice. The Chargrilled Coulette Steak which is sirloin steak. It was decent but slightly dry. The best part of the meal was the FRESH BANANA CREAM CHEESECAKE! You can't go to Cheesecake Factory and not get cheesecake! That's like going to Macaroni Grill and not get the Macaroni...oh wait............ Anyway, The Fresh Banana Cream Cheesecake is amazing! It's not too heavy and rich like some of the other cheesecakes available and tasted light, simple and delicious. Try it!

Where to start.... Let's begin with wait time. We were told 30-40 minutes. As I looked around the restaurant I counted 4 tables cleaned and available. Still waited 30 minutes to be seated. Minus 1 star just there. Food: We knew exactly what we wanted to order. (Remember we had 30 minutes to look over the menu) So when our waitress arrived, we ordered right away. We ordered simple stuff, corn tamales and wings with a side salad. The side salad was good. We've had the corn tamales before at other locations. Oh boy, these were not fresh. I get it, they have a lot of stuff on their menu. Hard to keep everything available. But the corn tamales were old and tasted like such. They had hard tough pieces as if they had been reheated a few times. I was starving. I ate around the hard stuff. Plus the guac & sour cream masked it. Chicken wings are traditionally wet and messy, right!? Yeah - not these. They had clearly been sitting under a heating lamp for quite a while. Then when you bit into them, blood line. UMM. That is no bueno. So we pointed it out to our waitress, she took back the plate and said she'd have it recooked. (Hmm) Another sever arrived after 10 minutes with just the wings, no dipping sauce, celery, plate. Nada. Our waitress ended up bringing that after. The wings were wings, nothing special. At this point, they've lost 2 additional stars for food alone. Wait staff: the young lady was nice but over worked. She was waiting on quite a few tables. She was super nice but stretched thin. When she asked how out food was we were honest about the food; she told her manager. He quickly approached us about our problems and took off the wings off the check. Would I go back to this one? Probably not. Two stars - one for the cheesecake and one for comping us the wings.

I go here all the time (brunch, lunch, or dinner). It's one of my favorite restaurants to visit. It's a chain restaurant so you generally know what to expect when you go. I'm glad they're in Woodbridge now so I don't have to drive to Tyson's anymore when I need my fix. The food is always good. And the rare times that it's not management quickly resolves the problem. I also love their outside patio seating. I love outdoor dining in general and they do a good job of making it comfortable whether it's chilly or warm which really extends the time they can offer it in comparison to other area restaurants. Definitely recommend this location.

It's your typical CF except its much smaller yet I didnt have to wait for a table on a weekend (i prefer booths but we were hungry). Parking is always horrendous in this area! Food & drinks were on point but my heart & gas tank loves the Fair Oaks location.

This place has some of the best food around. This location is MUCH smaller than the Fair Oaks location. My Wife and I have been two or three times, with an average wait time of over one hour. The food is awesome after the wait, but we could drive to the other location, eat, and drive back in less time due to the long wait. This is why I gave it just average 3 star rating. I asked one of the staff why they built such a small

Came here for a late lunch early dinner around 2:30 yesterday (1/7/15) it was only my 2nd visit ever to a Cheesecake Factory and the 1st time was in Baltimore 7 years ago and it was awful...this experience was nothing short of amazing!! The food, the service, the atmosphere all were exceptional. Our waitress Tracy was one of the best I've had in years. Will definitely go see her again. I had the mushroom soup which was delicious and the turkey burger. Best I'd ever had. My boyfriend had the soup as well and the Monte Cristo I believe. We got our dessert to go because we were both too full. He had the pineapple upside down cheesecake and said it was fabulous. I got some sort of Lemoncello cake with mascarpone cheese and strawberries because I'm not a cheesecake fan. It was incredible as well. We got some sort of triple chocolate tower cake to take home to my daughter and she loved it. Everything was really good. My 4 stars is simply for the cost. It is very pricy. Especially if you get the dessert/cheesecake. They are all $8+ a piece. For our 2 lunches and the 3 desserts it was $61 plus $13 tip..pretty $$$$ but it was all excellent food and service.

I love the restaurant. Just be aware that thIs one is a bit small for the client base. There is often a wait of 30+ minutes. If you plan for that, you'll have a better experience.

Beware of being scammed at this place. They have no prices on the menu for mixed drinks. When I asked my waiter the price of a virgin frozen strawberry daiquiri the waiter said the price was $11.50. The actual price was $5.50 as the waiter found out supposedly when he checked at the bar. I'm sure had I not questioned the price I would have been charged $11.50 on my bill. Not sure who pockets the money but it comes out of your wallet. I ordered two bowls of clam chowder and asked for bread but said I wanted that AHEAD of my entree which for my wife was fish and chips and for me was steak diane. The waiter vanished and about 20 minutes later someone showed up with the entrees and he had no more than put the entrees on the table than here comes the waiter with the soup. We sent the soup away,. We never received any bread. I complained to the manager about the drinks and service. The waiter saw me complaining to the manager and THEN he offered to bring out the bread. The manager complimented the frozen daiquiris. The steak diane was really not that good, was not really steak diane. My wife loved her fish and chips. I don't know when I'll return after this and I'm really fed up on the trick with the drink prices.

I have been to this location several times and it has consistently had excellent food. I have had the Jambalaya Pasta, Meatloaf, burgers, and of course the cheesecake. All are excellent with large portions. Never have been disappointed with this place.

I am only giving our experience 1 star because the edamame appetizer was decent although slightly charred. The service was slow. The food was mediocre at best and we waited 40 minutes for the entrees to arrive. Save your money and eat at home! You are better off!

I am giving this restaurant a 2 because of the server who was absolutely awesome. I cannot say the same for the hostess who was rude unprofessional unwelcoming and clearly did not want to be at work today. The seating in this place is horrible there's barely any elbow room. When we were first seated we were basically touching the people like right next to us. We asked to be seated somewhere else where it was less busy and she took us to the other side of the restaurant and sat us in the same type of place. When we asked for a booth which was clearly open behind us, she said that it was reserved for larger parties. Five minutes later a party of two was seated right at the same booth that we had just asked for. The food as always was very good the prices were reasonable we didn't have to wait very long. The seating however really changed our experience in this restaurant and we will not go back only because there seems to be no privacy whatsoever if you want to have an actual conversation with the person you are having lunch or dinner with.

I like this location, its brand new. I've only been for brunch a couple of times and I've liked the food I've ordered. the Eggs Benedict is great, and so are the mimosa's.

Every time I'm in the area I have to come by sit at the bar and enjoy a nice lunch, the wait time can sometimes be unbearable but its worth the wait with the portion sizes so large and the quality of the food, the cheesecake and the ambiance its just a very nice restaurant.

First : NEVER had a disappointing meal here, EVER! Quality is always there for the main entree, the appetizers can be hit and miss. GOOD: Always have a doggie bag after ordering the entree; The Burrito Is HUGE!, Chicken Wings good Bang Bang Chicken is great! Service better than average BAD: Arrive early during meal times,,seating takes a while. Pricier than others a good meal/dessert with adult beverages for 2 about $60-80

Got food poisoning. Stomach cramps and vomiting within 30 minutes of eating. Completely disgusting. Don't eat at this chain. If you go to iwaspoisoned.com this restaurant chain comes up repeatedly!

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Only problem, the wait is usually super long, especially on the weekend. It doesn't help that this location is smaller than the Fairfax and Tyson's location, but there's nothing they can do about that now. Since they don't take reservations, I'd recommend to call ahead to at least ask approximately how long the wait will be (and see if you're up for the wait). I've gone there too many times on a hungry stomach and almost passed out waiting! lol If you've been to a Cheesecake Factory before, then you know what to expect. Food is always consistently good, portions are generous, and service is generally good. If you've never been, don't forget to try a piece of cheesecake! They have a large variety.

If there is one thing you can say consistently about the Cheesecake Factory is... if there is nothing on the menu you like, you simply are too difficult to please... AND the portions are consistently ENORMOUS. We recently had dinner at the new Potomac Mills store and it was an overall good experience. Server (Jorge) was attentive and personable and made us feel welcome and special. However he didn't know the difference between Black tea (strong, iced) and Raspberry Tea (weak, iced) OR someone mixed up the tea dispensers, not sure but we switched to water and soda - when the bill came he forgot to remove one of the $2.95 teas (a bit pricey!) so that created considerable confusion, but we got it worked out. The food we ordered was good. I had a mushroom burger (okay, but not really special) - I also opted for a salad, thinking it would a garden salad, it was however more of a spinach salad and I didn't care for it (that's just my taste) BUT the honey mustard dressing was great! My wife got the meatloaf sandwich and it was HUGE - way too much to eat after having a Nacho's appetizer so she took half of it home for lunch the next day. Great taste... Overall, Cheesecake Factory is typically a very good, fairly priced place to eat with quality food. You will not leave there hungry and if you do, it's your fault, not theirs. If you really want to experience the ultimate burger, get the Mac 'n Cheese burger and you will be able to say you have a unique experience - it is exceptional but probably about 2000+ calories!! Enjoy!

I wasn't thrilled about coming to Cheesecake Factory because it's always packed and I personally don't feel like it will be a good experience when you have servers running around, with a crowd of people waiting to be seated at the entrance. Well I was surprised that the wait was manageable, our server was very friendly, and brought our food out quickly. The cheesecakes were amazing. I just didn't care for the lady eyeing my Pineapple Upside Down Cheesecake the entire time I was eating it. Order one to go lady! The only knock was when another waitress brought our food and she asked us if we wanted shredded cheese with our pastas. We said yes and she disappeared. Our server came by and asked us if we needed it and we got our cheese. I'm guessing it was just a busy moment. But overall, great food, great cheesecake.

Have lived in Woodbridge for 4 years and so glad to see all the new restaurants opening up. So far this one is doing the best job. As expected its new and waits are 60-90 mins, so we went on a Sat fro lunch at 1130 we they first opened up. Food was great as always and service was excellent.

We were greeted warmly by a young male bartender, he was quick to answer our questions and was very friendly. After about 30 minutes of waiting for two medium-rare burgers, the bartender mentioned he was going to check on our food. He came back a while later with supplies to stock the bar and didn't say a word about the status of our meals. Our burgers arrived about 40 minutes later, one with the wrong side item. We were so hungry at this point it wasn't a big deal, however, what was a big deal was the fact that we were never checked on afterwards--bartender was no where to be found. We had to flag down a very apathetic manager to voice our complaints whose only resolution was to offer free cheesecake. We declined as we were from out of town. All we wanted was some sincerity from someone. Luckily we had cash to pay our bill as the bartender was still absent by the time we were more than ready to leave. We weren't even thanked by a single employee as we left. $60 was a large price to pay for such a disappointment.

good food, but service is a little slow, and the place isn't nearly big enough for the number of people who are in and out of this place on a daily basis. Cheesecake Factory should have considered a better design so that when you eat people aren't standing on top of you waiting for a table. Also the hostesses were far from nice, I understand it can be frustrating to work around tons of people all day everyday but a pleasant attitude and a smile never killed anyone.

My friend and I came in to catch up, split some appetizers, and get some good dessert. We split the chicken quesadilla, the potstickers, the cajun chicken littles, with a side of mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. everything tasted fresh and delicious. i proceeded to try the carrot cake cheesecake, which was incredible. the main reason i'm writing this review, however, was the outstanding service. our waitress, melissa, knew so much about the food and really helped steer us in the right direction when ordering our appetizers. we could tell she was busy but when we had questions or needed help deciding, she treated us like we were her only table. as a server myself, i know this is hard to do, but she pulled it off like a champ. in a place as overwhelming as the cheesecake factory, i would HIGHLY recommend you ask for melissa next time you come to this location. she was one of the best servers i have had in a very long time.

They're not bad. They didn't clean the shrimp in my friend's New Orleans shrimp and rice dish, but they cleaned the shrimp in my shrimp/bacon club sandwich (however, they were very overcooked). My boyfriend's burger was also well-done although he ordered it med-rare. Service was pretty good. Overall, it's an okay restaurant, but maybe not my first choice when dining in Woodbridge. I also am disappointed that they don't take reservations or do call-ahead seating so you'll probably want to avoid this place completely during peak-hours (like Fri/Sat nights).

I usually love the CFactory - however, last night we went and my husband's chicken entree was raw! Fortunately he saw this before eating it. We alerted the waitress who said she would re-heat it for us. Expecting a new plate of food, she brings back the same plate 10 minutes later, disguised in more sauce and extra cheese. He goes to cut into it and realizes its already cut (where he had cut it) it was just pushed back together! We then spoke to the manager who offered him another fresh plate (at this point we had been there an hour and I was already finished eating my meal), She ended up taking it off the bill, because it was never eaten, and gave us a free cheesecake. Alittle stingy in my mind to someone you served RAW chicken to (it was clear on the inside!). Meanwhile I go home and get hit with a bout of food poisoning. Needless to say we wont be back for a long time!

It has been a year or so since I've been to a Cheesecake Factory so I was surprised that one slice of strawberry cheesecake that used to cost $6 now costs $8.45! Yes...for ONE slice of cheesecake. (The service was great. I only stopped in to get a slice. Possibly for the last time in a long time.)

I would say we go to the Cheesecake Factory often. & their food is delicious & we've only experienced one bad waitress there. After complaining about her they even tried giving us free stuff. My complaint is for the wait time. I live about 20minutes away from the Cheesecake Factory so when I get there, Though this is rarely the case. We went there on 10/13/13 & we took our family that was visiting. It came to 9 people. My husband is also in a wheelchair and so I understand this will make it even more difficult to sit us. However, first we get there & we are told that they have to talk to their manager first before they can give us a wait time. This took about 10-15minutes. Then they say it's going to be 55-70minutes. I thought this was ridiculous, however it was my son's birthday & he likes eating there so we wait. However there were many people that went ahead of us. & I wonder if instead of leaving seats open so we could be seated quicker they figured to put people there hoping they eat quick. Like I said, I enjoy the food and service but they need to fix the wait time. Especially for a big group. That's a lot of money right there.

We went as a party of 6 soon after they opened, and we did have to wait an hour, which we expected. The service was quite good, especially considering they were newly opened. Food, as always, was incredible! Can't wait to go back! :)

We all were so excited to finally get a CCF in Woodbridge. I have been a few times. On Saturday July 12, 2014 my friend and I went to lunch after the movies. We were sat immediately which is rare. Our server did not acknowledge us for at least ten minutes. Needless to say when he finally came we were ready to order. We ordered. Our drinks took another ten minutes, no bread. We asked about the bread, no bread, still no bread. He comes and says there is some coming out of the oven in a few minutes. Still no bread. Our order comes out which was brought by someone else, and there is no salad dressing for my friends salad. Now, we see are waiter, Daniel talking to a couple in the bar area, he doesn't come by to check on us or anything--still no bread. We flag someone down for the dressing. Finally Daniel comes by, and I tell him the service is so poor and he responds, "you can't please everyone." Wow, you can think it, but say it out loud, I was shocked. I said, "I want to speak to the manager, he says, "okay" I then respond, "wow I can't believe the attitude." The manager was very nice, sorry I cannot remember his name. He gave us another server, Jorge--who was awesome. The manager gave us free dessert as well.

Large portions that tastes good at a reasonable price. The service was slow and the server was forgetful, consistently had to remind them for simple things (fork, water) hard to eat your food with a butter knife.

Some of best surprises are the unexpected ones; and this was our experience while waiting in the bar for our table to open up. I asked the bartender, Amber, if she could mix the perfect Dirty Martini - she just smiled and served me the absolute perfect drink. Definitely competitive with NYC, San Francisco -- all the major cities where I've compared this enigma of a cocktail. Amber truly has the gift of mixology, which Prince William county has been lacking until now. Our county has some very good wine lists, but we've run short on the true cocktail experience. Since then, I've ordered catering services, and their manager Sean walked me through pricing options and he customized my order. He was extremely accommodating and the food was exceptional. Ask for Amber at the bar to recommend and mix your drink, you will not be disappointed. Regardless of what time you visit you will be greeted by Sean the manager - I suspect that he never leaves.

This restaurant just opened in Nov 2012 and I've already been here four times. My first visit wasn't so spectacular as the server struggled and took too long to take orders/deliver drinks and she lacked good communication skills. I haven't seen her there on my subsequent visits so I'm either missing her or she is no longer serving there. I've written that experience off as grand opening pains as the service since then has been perfect. Matt is AMAZING. If you're planning to visit this place ask to sit in his section and you'll receive the best service you could hope for. The food is always fresh (never frozen except for the cheesecakes), staff is attentive, and oh those oversized servings delievered to your table in a beautifully decorated and rich environment. It's among the best chain restaurants out there and it's great to have one minutes from home. The prices are very good for the amount of food and atmosphere provided (12-30 range per entry) Tip, it's always crowded so I go an hour early to put a name on the list and then shop at the mall while waiting. It's much more enjoyable this was than waiting in the overcrowded lobby which isn't large enough to accomodate so many people at once.

Sadly, there was no No bang or bang in my bang bang chicken and shrimp:( It was more like leftover chicken and left over shrimp with bang bang sauce poured over it. I've eatten here before and my food was good, and my friend, her food was fine. I just dont recommend the bang bang chicken.

Simple Review: Meals: Decent...same as every other Cheesecake location. Drinks: Roughly $10 a piece. Dessert: Yes...they make good cheesecake...many flavors. End of story. Staff: Not so great here. They messed up my seating twice in the same night resulting in a longer wait. Location: At the mall...expected foot traffic. Small location. Long wait (2 hours on a Friday night at 8pm). Very Loud. Overall: Eh...I guess if you're craving cheesecake.

My friend and I went today for lunch. Our server had nice hair pulled back in a pony tail but service was not nice. I asked him to bring my appetizer as a meal when my friends meal came. That did not happen. He never once came over to see if we needed anything, which we did. Another server came and checked on us three times. She even cleared our table. He came over with the check and walked away. I am always a generous tipper. But no tip for him. Many of my friends would rather drive to Tysons although we live in Woodbridge. Tysons servers are worth the drive.

This Cheesecake Factory is very good. Location is ideal for a day for shopping at Potomac Mills and there is more than enough parking around the restaurant. A 3.5 star rating would be appropriate, but the service we experience was absolutely fabulous and they deserve a solid rating. Outside seating is available and quite ample, it's just you could feel as if all those looking for parking spots for the mall are watching you eat. Some may not enjoy that fact. We had three children with us and the children portions are very, very big for kids. One adult ordered the regular menu pasta and it was in the exact same plate as the kids! This was a pleasure to see as normally kids portions are borderline snacks. Will go back to this establishment.

I had dinner with my 12-year old son after his appointment at the allergist - he had to get skin tested so I promised him yummy delicousness after being so good at the appointment. We showed up around 5 PM on a Tuesday and it wasn't packed; because it was gorgeous out, we sat outside on the patio to eat. He had the pepperoni pizza, I ordered the chicken madeira (my absolute favorite thing there). I have eaten at many different cheesecake factories and they have always been good - this one, though, was a little off. My chicken was undercooked and tasted weird. I ended up taking all of it home, but then I tossed it the next day because I was still a little queasy from eating it the night before. My son's pizza was very good - he was impressed by it. He got some sort of oreo cookie monstrosity of cheese cake for dessert and he really liked it. I was pretty disappointed in the quality of my food, so that's the reason for the markdown. It's definitely a nice addition to Potomac Mills, though, and I would probably consider eating there again should I be in that area.

The menu is as thick as a schoolbook! Everything is good so you'll spend the next five years sampling everything on the menu! We're addicted to this place! My only disappointment is that they did away with the corn fritters ;-(

The food was OK, nothing special, but OK. The service on the other hand was a joke. Nobody working there was older then 21 and they all treated their jobs like a joke. I have no idea where the manager was, but he or she has already lost total control of their staff. My server was never around and all the other staff was just laughing and joking all loud and ghetto like. It really seemed that they were still in high school, not at their place of business. I had a feeling that with Woodbridge opening so many high end restaurants at one time that it was going to be hard to staff them all with capable people. It looks like CF did the worst job of all as far as hiring competent employees. It seems like they just got all their friends a job there and now they think they don't have to work and they can just hang out and act a fool in the middle of the Cheesecake Factory.

Its cheesecake factory, you know what you're getting into when you go there. If you are coming in for just a slice of cheesecake and some drinks sit at the bar. You will get faster and possibly more experienced service.

This restaurant is great in my book. They brought out bananas and bread for my 1 year old and didn't mind making room for his stroller. The servers i have had their are great and I have made 4 different trips back with friends. I always get bang bang chicken and shrimp. I have tried tiramsu, godiva and pineapple upside down cheesecake all are wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant

This Cheesecake Factory opened up right before we left and I was grateful not to have to drive all the way up to Tyson's Corner to get my cheesecake fix! Restaurant is very clean, great service, and great food. There does tend to be a really long wait in weekends, probably because it's one of the only decent sit-down restaurants in the area.

Met a couple of girl friends for a quick bite and drinks before we went to the movies.had to move to the bar area to get the happy hour prices. Then we had to order immediately because happy hour was ending in 7 ,minutes. we ordered a cosmo each and them changed to two each to get the happy hour price of $5.00 instead of the $11.95 per drink. One of my friends was on her way, so I called her and asked what she wanted from the happy hour price list. she order 2 pinot vines. all was good. we ordered an appetizer. we received 1 each of the cosmos. Had to track down the waitress to get the second drink. finally got it. But apparently she forgot she already had charged us for the second drink.then we asked for the bill. we got the bill and then we decided to not go to the movie but stay and visit with each. we ordered another drink each. so that is 3 drinks each.but we had been charged for 4 drinks each at this time but .we didnt receive our drinks so i went to the bar and asked the bartender where was our drinks. she said she was about to make them.the bartender again charged us for the same drink. we ordered cheese cake each and the waitress put the wrong cake on the wrong billing and also served us the wrong cake ( we didn't realize we ate the wrong cake til it was gone ( too good to question it). when we decided it was time to go, we got our bill and I caught that they over charged me 2 cosmos at $11.95 each and my friend also got charged 2x $11.95. i asked that the bill be corrected. the waitress said she would correct it. came back with new bill- no change. asked for the manager and he came and said that we consumed the 11 cosmos and he wouldn't change the bill. i explained that we didn't order 11 cosmos. he said I had been there since 4:30pm and we did order them. I explained that i didnt get there until 5:45pm and could prove it because I called my friend to ask what she wanted from the happy hour price list. he didnt care, he claimed we ordered the drinks and if I didnt pay it, he would elevate the problem to the police!!!! what the Heck!! no customer service- no consideration of the fact that the server didnt take care of it-I had to even go the bartender to get our drinks and she again charged us.he did take off the price of the cheese cake but the drinks were $50.00 not $7.95 that the cake cost.several times he threatened to "elevate" ( call the police) the problem if I didnt pay the bill I asked for his business card and he came back with another managers card. I again asked for his card he finally gave me another card but I have no idea if it was his or not. i paid the bill but left no tip. I want my bill adjusted. I want my $50.00 back for drinks I didnt order or drink. I will not be back to any Cheese cake Factory ever again. Worst experience I have ever had. DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY for anything. The manager said I could come in tomorrow and have the manager on staff look at the video of our table to prove to them that we only received 7 of the 11 cosmos.REALLY... STUPID... really STUPID.

I actually really enjoyed our dinner here. Very filling and had at least two days worth of leftovers. Very quiet and mostly empty (we went around 2 pm) but then they sat another group at the table right next to us. I felt that Anne Hathaway in the awkward dinner scene in Valentine's Day.

I haven't been to a CF in years, and when my husband mentioned giving this one a shot, I figured why not? I looked at their menu online before our visit, and they have a TON of veggie-friendly food! There was so much to choose from! We arrived on a Sat. at 6pm, so of course the wait was long. They told me it would be 30-45 min., and it was 45 min. Our server arrived promptly and was pleasant and quick. Another server brought our stuff for our kids to nibble on (sliced up bread and banana slices). Our food arrived VERY quickly. I think we ordered too much! We got one order of the kids mac and cheese for our kids, in case they didn't like what we ordered (we ordered a bunch of small plates to share). We ordered: stuffed mushrooms, parmesan polenta fries, fried zucchini, grilled artichoke, and fried eggrolls. My husband also ordered a Greek salad. I have to say, it was ALL good! Those avocado eggrolls...where have they been all my life??! If I had to pick one thing that wasn't as good as the rest, it would be the fried zucchini (but it was still good). We made the mistake of ordering 2 mixed drinks from the Skinny menu (I got the skinny sangria and hubby got the skinny mojito). They were good, but we were shocked when we got the bill- $10.50 each! Kablam! We were too stuffed for cheesecake, so we got two pieces to go to eat in the privacy of our home. We will go back to the CF, we just need to find a time when there isn't a wait!

This is a great restaurant. My wife and I have been here a couple of times and we have gotten some very good service. They are very efficient when it comes to handling the timing of your meals from the bread/appetizers all the way to dessert. That is important because you never want to feel rush while eating, which would be somewhat understandable considering the popularity of this location. Look I get it, this is the Cheesecake Factory and a lot of people love their food, but I honestly wonder if this location couldn't have benefited from a larger site. The location is certainly great being in front of Potomac Mills but this place is always packed and I just believe one of the only downsides to this place is not anticipating how large of an area they are serving. For those who live off 95 in Prince William and Stafford Counties, this is close and one of the only locations accessible to those areas, so the amount of people coming to this place is insane. In spite of that, they do a very good job controlling things. The food has always been on point, great service and cleanliness. I highly recommend this restaurant but I caution you, that you will likely have to wait to be served.

This is my first time at Cheescake in Woodbridge, I have been to the Fair Oaks location and this was a better experience. This review is between a 3 and 4 would have given 3.5 if that was an option. First the appetizers are good and generous servings more than enough for sharing to 3-4 people with entrees. I over indulged in the apps and could not finish my entree. Guac, good, got mild because of my sister who is not into spicy at all. She thinks tomatoes are spicy, medium would have been better, very fresh, tasty, and large. The crab wontons also good but not quite there, worthy trying but not amazing, standard and small, although you get about 10. I had the Baja Fish Tacos , fish was cod and very blah, served on soft tortilla with cabbage, cream and one small (tiny) slice of avacodo. Could have used pico or something, the tempura was strange and I opted for grilled, possibly should have gone for fried. Cheesecake is very good, took some to come for the rest of my brood, but $8 a slice is excessive. Total meal for four with two sodas, one pina colada, one beer, two apps, one filet, fish tacos, fish and chips, omelete, and two pieces of cheesecake totaled $137.00, not bad. I will come back and luckily did not experience a wait as we went early around 4pm on a Saturday but would not wait more than 20 mins.

This was one of the worst dining experiences ever. After waiting 45 mins for a table, we were finally seated. The waitress was nice and placed the children's orders first. 20 mins later all the kids were served except my daughter. When I questioned the waitress she came back and said that her "food had disappeared" another 30 mins and that's when the order came out. Still waiting for the manager to come out and offer his apologies. I ordered a steak and it was over cooked. Other than grabbing a slice of cheesecake from the take out counter I will not be back!
