Diabetics at Village Inn

Village Inn is a tough place for diabetics, and you must be extra cautious while ordering food at the Village Inn, especially if you're a diabetic. The food items low in sodium are high in sugar or cholesterol at Village Inn which makes it difficult for diabetics to choose the right food at the diner.

Foods to Avoid at Village Inn for Diabetics

Village Inn offers very few items edible for diabetics without any threat. You can avoid sandwiches and burgers at Village Inn and try the light breakfast items on the menu. You must also skip the shakes as well as other juices from the beverage menu. Almost all the dinner items on the menu are high in sodium except Grilled Tilapia and 6 oz. Top Sirloin & Toast. Avoid Soup bowls and opt for cups instead at Village Inn.

When you want breakfast for dinner, Village Inn is the place. Show up there at dinner time and get seated right away. The dining room is clean and comfortable and for the most part, service is excellent. Try the VIB. You pick from multiple items, all at a fixed price. You get exactly the breakfast you want. It's all about the substitutions. Think custom breakfast for diner type food. Everything on the menu tastes good and seems to be fresh. If you want to take advantage of the ultimate value, go there on a Wednesday. Free slice of pie with any purchase on Wednesday. You can have a cup of coffee and that qualifies for free slice of pie. Great deal! Have an appetite for breakfast this evening? Go to Village in... Salute!

My dining partner and I, being very tired of hotel breakfasts, came to Village Inn. We were very pleased with our service and our food. Our server even gave me a to-go cup for my coffee. I got an omelet and it was fantastic. I ordered it with a side of tomatoes and while they were edible, they weren't very fresh. The tomatoes were probably hours or a day away from having to be thrown away.

I thought third time would be the charm. Bryan nicely ordered our togo and double checked with us. Till we went home and took a bite into the harsh brown, there was a curly hair in there........... Waiting....

This particular Village Inn has been a popular dining location for many dinners in the past due to the location convenience and late hours past midnight. I-15 access is just right outside within less than a minute distance. They got that standard American diner layout found in many nationwide chains. Food was never great in any of my visits, but with countless choices, everyone can find something they can endure any events goes on here. Breakfast items were generally safer, but they poached an egg correctly though. Aside from the news about a guy getting drive-by murdered outside of this restaurant few years ago, I do not believe you got much to worry here.

Great service really fast and friendly. The blueberry pancakes were amazing with the blackberry limeaid. If go there try and get Lindsey she's way nice so is the manager. The only thing was my friend said her biscuits and gravy were a little dry.

Don't do it unless you're dying of starvation. The pancakes came out only half cooked. The skillet sounded good, but looked like SARS on a plate. The servers were very friendly and nice, but for the quality of food, the prices are slightly redonkulous.

The food reminded me of any other breakfast chain.. (IHop, Denny's.. Etc.) The food tasted exactly like any other breakfast chain..... so all in all.. I give it a MEH. Staff was super attentive and very sweet. Def a plus in an otherwise forgettable dinning experience.

Awful is not even the best word to describe their customer service. When we sat down to our table, there were four tables in our section that hadn't been cleaned & a tray full of dirty dishes was blocking the aisle. While there were four other employees around, nothing was cleaned until the end of our meal. When I received my grown-up grilled cheese without tomato, our waiter said he would inform the manager. When he did, we saw her laugh about it. Our water also wasn't refilled until the end of our meal. By the end of it all when we went to pay, the Assistant Manager Arianna (who laughed at us before,) asked how everything was. We said, "it was alright." Her response was, "Great!" Bottom line, I will never eat there again and I am thoroughly disgusted. This establishment is a disgrace.

This is a pretty good standard burger place. Not being one to turn down blue cheese, I had a burger with blue cheese and onion straws. The burger came with some pink, and seemed like pretty decent ground beef. Unfortunately, very limp pickle. No Vlassic here. They were also open really late, which was a plus when pulling an all-weekend shift. So this goes on my list of harmless places to use when in need of late night food...and also...when in Sandy, UT.
