Terrible experience tonight. I wanted a cookie dough blast, saw it on TV looked yummy. I went through the drive-thru. The girl asks what I want and I told her the cookie dough blast, she immediately goes "Well were all out of cookie dough so... yeah". Okay no big deal, I asked for a caramel brownie blast. She obviously did not turn of the mic and yelled for some guy to come over and take care of me because 'I was a rude and pushy customer that was not listening'. So he asked if he could help, I told him I wanted the carmel brownie blast. He rudely snapped back that I have already been told that the ice cream machine was broken. I wasn't, so I left and will never go back. Lost another customer. I don't understand how they are still in business.

I attempted to go once but the line was like 10 cars deep. no thanks. So I ended up going once during my brief stay in Utah. In fact, I went with my mom late at night for our midnight snack (midnight East Coast time). Service was quick since it was quiet that night. The food was super hot and fresh. Limeaid as addicting as ever. I just wish they skated like they do in MA.

What I like about sonic is the variety of choices. The drinks are fantastic and the happy hour from 2-4 can't be beat. The food is okay. I've had hot dogs, burgers, fries, and breakfast burritos and sandwiches and it's all just o.k. Nothing I've ever eaten there has been that memorable!

I've always like the food here, especially the drinks, but too many damning experiences with their horrible staff has kept me away for about 3 years straight now. I've never blackballed a place like I've blackballed Sonic and that just shows how terrible it was. Always forgetting parts of my order and telling me I should check before driving away. For shame Sonic. I miss your food and drinks, but I will never get food from you again. The most you can expect from me is to use your bathrooms without buying any food.

This was the first "Sonic" I've ever been to! It was a cold day - so they weren't out skating around taking orders. Do they do that? I don't know. You drive up and order your food via a drive-in thing, then you go park your car and they bring your food out to you. You eat in your car. Cute concept. I guess. I see commercials for this place allllll the time, but I'm from Boston, and there aren't any of them around! So when I was in the area - I jumped at the chance to go. I went twice, actually. The food is really good. Good fast food. Tasty stuff. I don't get this kind of thing awesome as I am watching my girlish figure, but it was really good. How can ya hate a place that serves tater tots? TATER TOTS!!!!!!!

Every single time I come to this location I hope for a better experience, but every time I'm let down. I usually go through the drive thru and when I get to the window they ask me if I had such and such order, which isn't what ordered. Most recently I was the only car in the drive thru; I ordered and pulled forward and as I was doing so another car pulled up to the screen and ordered. Even then they thought I had the order from the car behind me! I ended up having to wait in line 20 minutes for a burger and some tots. Unless you have a lot of extra time on your hands, don't plan on getting in and out of this location very quickly.

Slow and rude employees. I ordered drinks, and when they handed me the drinks, they didn't say which was which, and when I asked he answered with tude attitude.

This place is pretty gross. I went there at 11 at night and was pretty disgusted with many of the things I saw. The most repulsive thing was when I saw the cashier turn his head and spit on the floor. Yikes!!! On top of that, I was the only person there and it took 5 minutes to get my order.

On March 14th 2015 at 8:40am, the store was left unattended, door unlocked, lights on, switches going off as customers try to order. I waited around for about 15 mins before leaving, but not before I watched about 10 customers come and go. Someone deserves to be fired, right now anyone can just walk in the store and rob it blind.

Literally just drove away after ordering without paying and sitting at the window for 5+ minutes with not a single person coming over to even take my card to pay. I watched 4 teenagers stand around chatting and sticking pieces of their Halloween costume back onto themselves the whole time. I wouldn't trust pieces to not be in the food today.

I don't like their burgers. Too greasy. But I love the chili cheese tots. Their hot dogs are good but cold too often. The grilled cheese is a guilty pleasure - oil/butter soaked white bread browned up with cheese slice cheese. The few shake I have had were good - We prefer the strawberry real fruit slushed. Dirty diet cokes are the best.

Go for the drinks but that's about it. The Orem Sonic should not be considered fast food with how slow their service consistently is. Check your hot dog buns as I have seen mold before. i57.tinypic.com/1572534.… - Always fun finding this while eating lunch...

OMG. Filthy floors in the place. I ordered at drive thru (thankfully so I could see inside the place) then drove away without food after seeing how dirty the place was inside. Floor looks like it hadn't been mopped in a week. Junk and food all over the floor. Cups in sleeves but end dragging onto the floor. Eauuu. I remember Tom Peters saying, if an airline doesn't care enough to wipe the trays then the wings will fall off the plane too. So I kept thinking if they don't care enough to mop the floor once in a while, why would they care about my food? After waiting for a few minutes when no one came to the window, I dashed. If I had to guess, you put about 10 minimum wage youngsters in a place like that unsupervised by a whip cracker and you get that place. Sorry Sonic Orem. Clean the firkin place please and hire a real manager.

I'm finally writing about my adventures to Salt Lake City Utah. My company had purchased a company out there and they were transferring the information back to California. I was a chosen Engineering Team member to bring the machine & software processes back. Sonic Drive-In was on the way to a vendor. I was with a co-worker and he recommended it. I have never been to a Sonic and we did the walk up vs the drive through. The thought of a drive through in a rental car. Yippee! I ordered a burger with tater tots, yes tater tots. Both were good, I like the tater tots better. Plus they have Diet Dr. Pepper. New adventures in Utah.
