Was sad to see sitara go, but after having the lamb vindaloo and garlic naan I know I'll be just fine with these guys. Looks like they need more business, so go help out.

So glad we gave Naan N Curry a try last night! Most Indian restaurants are satisfactory, but this place was above and beyond! We ordered the lamb coconut korma--so rich and a little bit sweet. The restaurant owner also recommended his own favorite, a mango chicken tikka masala that wasn't actually on the menu. The chef whipped it up and it was divine!! A friend ordered another off-the-menu recommendation, a ginger mango tikka masala, and it was also fabulous! Delicious naan, too. The inside of the restaurant is a little small and plain, but don't let that put you off--the amazing food more than makes up for it. I'd tell anyone in the area to bag Bombay Bites and head for Naan N Curry!!!

Very good. Buffet is a nice touch during the week. Their Tikka and Coconut curries are both on point!

I had to get a quick bite of lunch while in Ogden for work and used Yelp to find Naan & Curry. The buffet was perfect. I have had Indian food all over the nation and this is in the top five. Some of the tastiest chicken Marsala I've had- stop by and check this place out! New owners are doing a great job. Service was great, very personable!

Food is okay. If you are good eating in a fast food environment and paying $50 for 2 curries, 2 naan, and water this is the right spot for you.

I was sad to find out Sitara had moved, but happy there is another Indian restaurant in its place. We came to Naan N Curry for a big family dinner and get together.. all of us with different dietary needs (Omnivore, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free). I ordered the Veg coconut kurma, baigan barta, and vegetable pakoras.. they were all really good! I am pretty sure I have been to all of the Indian restaurants in N. Utah, so comparing them to others comes naturally to me. The coconut kurma was very different than I am used to, but it had an excellent flavor and we all really liked it. The baigan barta was spot on- exactly the way I like it, smoky and creamy, and full of flavor. The vegetable pakoras were excellent as well. I love pakoras because they are one of the few battered and fried foods I can eat, since I can't eat wheat and they are chickpea batter. Also, we had 2 newbies to Indian food in our party, and they both loved it. The only reason they aren't getting 5 stars is because the service was pretty spotty. It took a long time to take our orders, get everyone water and drinks, and enough plates for our whole party, even after asking and reminding several times. They could use some crayons for the kids too. I think it is because they are new, and they're probably new to the restaurant biz completely. So, while it was a bit irritating, it wasn't too bad, and they put up with a large party, with my crazy kids, too. Hopefully they will work on this, and the next time we go it will be better. I don't think the previous poster's 1-star review is necessary just because they don't have kids menus. It would have been nice to have crayons and paper for the kids, but my kids eat Indian food when we go out for Indian food.. what would a kid menu for a place like this entail anyway? Yes, the prices were a little bit more than other places, but we ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer and that was more than enough to feed our family of 5. In summary, I say give it a chance. The food was excellent, and well worth it. *Edit: I bumped my review up from 4 stars to 5 stars. They really deserve better than what they have! So.. forgiving lack of stellar service for super excellent Indian food!

My husband and I love trying new restaurants, I am vegetarian and sometimes it could be very difficult to find something to eat besides salads. We have decided to try naan and curry for lunch we were very please to find so many different things and such an abundance, very tasty and very fresh, all this for only eight dollars. Aj the manager was very pleasant and very accommodating, the following week we decided to go over dinner and it's nice to see the consistency in the food and the service. Thank you we will definitely be back. M&M

With the new ownership the food was very mediocre. My lamb curry was tough and flavorless, it reminded me of beef stew. My wife's Chicken Korma was better but still lacked authentic flavor. The naan bread was very flat and dense and almost seemed like it was not cooked in a tandoor oven. The former Sitara was one of our favorite indian restaurants in Ogden. Sadly it's gone and the new chef and menu does not stack up.

Rating this restaurant strictly off the food. Don't get me wrong the service was good, but the food was excellent. My wife and I shared the chicken tikka masala and the chicken coconut korma with garlic naan. TRY THIS PLACE OUT!! I'll be coming here more often.

I miss Sitara. I just ordered take out chicken curry + veggies from here and it has the consistency of chicken broth. Maybe they just threw curry into broth and called it good. Not to mention I paid $14!! Sitara was half the price and had three times the flavor.

Stopped in for dinner on a cool, rainy May evening. Husband and I ordered the lamb samosas (I forgot the name they used on the menu instead of lamb). They were delicious, especially with the sweet/spicy sauce and mint mixture that came on the side. I ordered the butter chicken and my husband got chicken curry. The butter chicken was amazing! It was bright red and dyed our lips and tongues slightly red... Oh well. Better than blue? The chicken curry was tasty, although we both agreed we've had better curry in our lives. We got regular naan and garlic naan and those did not disappoint either. The butter chicken was yummy over rice, but I liked it even better when eating it with naan. I'd be curious to try other items from the menu here, but if I went back I would simply have to order the butter chicken. It was just too delicious! The service was great too!

I lived in London for a few years so am extremely picky when it comes to Indian food. I am partial to curries and so far have experienced really good curry with the ones I have tried. The food is better here than most other Indian places in Utah.

Upon entering, I was a little nervous because this place is a total hole in the wall and was kinda dark and no one else was in there. We ordered the vegetarian samosas and they were delicious. I ordered the shrimp masala and my husband ordered the lamb vindaloo. I have not gotten that shrimp masala out of my mind. It was the best thing I have tasted in so long. They didn't skimp on the shrimp either, they were large and plenty of them. My husband's vindaloo was really good too, the lamb was super tender and the sauce was very tasty. The reason I deducted a star is that I think its kinda pricey, but I had a groupon so it was all good. I want to go back and try the lunch buffet.

Finally, really good Indian food in Ogden! This place is as good as Bombay House in Salt Lake City. The naan was perfect. We had Saag Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala. Both were really fine. Portions are plentiful. Service impeccable. ***We went back one week later and tried the buffet. Also highly recommended. We will go back!

I went in for the lunch buffet with my family and my mom. There were only a few people in the restaurant at the time and I expected the food to be slightly stale and old but it was anything but. Everything I tried was moist and juicy. I would reccomend the chicken curry.

This is my first experience with Indian food. I was escorting a client from India and we ate here.. He loved it and I did as well.. Within the same week I took dishes home for my family to enjoy.. Great food! Great service!! Definitely a must for everyone!!

I absolutely love the food here. Many vegan and vegetarian options as well. Their prices are very reasonable. We had the chana masala and aloo mutter. The Chana is amazing. The spices were perfect. The aloo mutter was perfect as well. The chef and owner are a great combination.

for only 8 bucks during lunch you can get all you can eat Indian food at their buffet! The food is actually quite good and although it is buffet quality (it sits under a heat lamp for hours) it is still a good eats.

We decided to try curry and naan since sitara moved to hill field rd. We were a little apprehensive about it after reading the first review, but I'm glad we gave it a shot. All the flavors of the chicken tikka masala, paneer tikka masala, saag paneer were right on point. The garlic and cheese naan were some of the best we have had. The restaurant was very clean, service was great, the prices were about the same as sitara and the update that was performed after sitara left is a very welcomed change. Great job to the new owners in still providing really good indian food in Ogden. The only thing I would say needs improvement is they need to add a little more heat as in spice to their dishes, but that is a personal preference. Definitely will return and will recommend to my friends. And to the first reviewer you can give them a try again, they now offer kids meals since that is what really drives people to an ethnic food restaurant.

Went to eat Indian food at Sitara of India and were surprised to find it under new owners and new name. Walked in and sat down and asked for kids menus. The new menu offered only half of what we were used to and the prices were almost double! We still thought we would give it a try. I reminded our waiter we needed kids menus. He looked at the guy standing in the host booth and asked if they had kids menus, we were told they didn't offer a kids menu. That was enough for us to walk out. It's not ANYTHING like the previous owners so beware!
