I love Boat net in Kingsville, it may look ghetto and not like the kind of place you want to eat from let alone eat fish but the food is amazing and a great place to get quick sea food at a reasonable price

Drive-through :The food taste pretty good just like how fried fish is supposed to taste. I usually just get the 2 shrimp, 2 fish and fries for lunch. The drive trough way is a bit slow around 12:30.

I like it here. Its a little run down but u cant beAt the price. If they up the price one more time this place is going down hill fast.

This was my favorite place to eat in Kingsville. You would expect that the plethora of Mexican restaurants would have earned my admiration, but this greasy, dirty little chicken/fish restaurant was "it" for me -- especially during college. Don't get me wrong: The place looks like it is a health hazard. My wife used to joke that the "secret ingredient" is dandruff. The PVC pipe drive-thru speaker (literally speaking through PVC with a cowbell attached to it) makes you wonder how many South Texas roaches have smelt the chicken and fish and decided to migrate inside via their own private PVC walkway. However, I have eaten here more times than I can count and I have never felt sick afterward. Still, you can eat very well for $5 or less. I once stood in line and listened to the guy in front of me explain how he traveled from the Valley just to eat there! Another person came from San Antonio and felt the need to visit his favorite old chicken shack. Don't let the building fool you: This is some great chicken!

I dubbed this place "The Whataburger Of Seafood', and it is true...cheap and great tasting seafood. If your looking for a Halibut filet topped with colassal shrimp, this is not your place. I've been eating Boat n Net for the last 16 years and its always been the same. Crispy Shrimp, Bread, Fries, and tartar sauce. If these high gas prices are taking some money out of your "eat out" budget, then this is your place!

This place is really great for being in a college town. It is pretty neat to order through a pvc pipe. The food is really cheap, but pretty dang good. Place looks kind of run down, and you can't dine in, but it is ok. If you are on a budget and looking for a good meal that is not a bland dollar burger or from one of the many Mexican restaurants in town, then this is the place to go.
