We always stop in and dine when in Winchester. Once a bank, now nicely renovated eatery, has so much atmosphere. We've never been disappointed. Our all time favorite is the mushroom brie soup. Stop in and let your taste buds enjoy!!

Great food, excellent coffee, comfortable atmosphere; San Miguel has it all! The menu is small but has enough of a variety to satisfy. The daily specials add to the variety of the menu items and bring a bit of the exotic and unexpected. The food is meticulously prepared in the on site kitchen with fresh ingredients. Prices are more than reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful! The dining area is large and roomy. There is a nice comfortable area with couches and big soft chairs to relax in as well. Guaranteed to please!

This is one of my favorite places in Winchester. I really hope they keep getting business when/if Hammer's leaves the square. Last time I was in town, I went here three times in one week. The building is great, the people are super nice ( and not in that fake way) and the food is very good. I've had a lot on their menu. Coffee, tea, cheesecake, carrot cake, salads, and sandwiches. I'd LOVE it if I had a place like this in my neighborhood here on the West Coast. Portions are not over the top, but are satisfying. They also have a wireless connection. I enjoyed coming here to do my work instead of going to the library or Taco Bell. (the only places with free wifi)

We went here since Designer Cakes was closed when we got to the square. So glad we went in. They have the typical coffee house fare. What really amazed me was their location. It seemed like the shop just had so many nooks and places to sit on. They even converted a walk in freezer into a sitting area! Well, we had a cheese danish with their Dalmatian "frapuccino." The frozen drink was very good. It was a mix of dark and white chocolate. They also have free wi-fi for those who like to go and work on something while in the shop.

My wife is from Winchester and every time I go, I hope to get coffee from San Miguel. It has a great location on the square and the atmosphere is great. It is quite large with some great pastries. I'd recommend trying it out if you're in the area.
