Good, fresh Mediterranean style food served with a smile and lots of jokes from Bill and Linda, the owners. It is one of my favorite places to eat lunch downtown. Located in Nashville's historic Arcade, not only is the food fast and delicious but the people-watching is outstanding! The spanakopita (spinach pie) is my favorite...husband like the combo platter of chicken and gyro. You have your choice of new potatoes or rice and the salad is fresh and cold with an oil/vinegar/feta cheese dressing. Try their baklava...Linda orders it from a bakery in Florida and it is the best I've had in Nashville....outstandingly moist, flavorful and drenched in honey. Seating is sparce as this is a small place but you can always eat outside at tables in the Arcade, if weather permits. They will gladly box it up for you to go, as well. Wednesday is "pork chop" day. Bill simmers and steams them for 3 hours. The meat falls off the bones, it is so tender! Call ahead to reserve them in case they run out!

First time stopping in the arcade. I heard people talking about gyros but there are a few to decide from in the area. Which one is "the one"?? Well the owner made it clear to me Greek Touch was "the one". The gyro sandwich with potato was incredible. Meat was greek with some sweet. Bread was delicious. The owner challenged me to try every dish and find one i didn't like. This is one challenge i am going to enjoy.

Not fresh. Canned potatoes. Not good at all. Leftovers.

This is my FAVORITE go to lunch spot, one of the most authentic GREEK restaurants. I love the gyro plate and the Athenian salad. The dressing is simple and perfectly complements the salad. It's almost like my grandma's homemade dressing. Yes they are a quick service place, but if I'm not mistaken, they cook their food the night before or early morning and then reheat it. It's not a bad thing at all, to me it still tastes fresh. Their pies will hit the spot if you have a craving. They usually have baklava, pecan, key lime, chocolate, and chocolate pecan and they cook all their food themselves. The service is awesome the owners are the cook and the cashier and they are always so nice! I've tried the other Greek places around the area, but none are as all around wonderful as this one. I guess it's all a matter of taste, so try it at least once!

Nothing special. I went expecting authentic Greek food and was highly disappointed. No tobouli was served! And they served the salad with iceberg lettuce instead of romaine. It left me craving the Greek spot by my house at the corner of bell road and nolensville rd next to the papa johns in Antioch. I work downtown and i will def be looking for a better Greek restaurant in the downtown area. To be fair the chicken tasted better than the one in Antioch and the Baka bar was pretty good.

Standing on 4th, facing two neighboring Greek spots, I found myself crippled with indecision. Which is the ONE? the most authentic? The freshest? Though my stomach rumbled, I could not decide. I finally panicked and ran across the street to the Arcade, home to the 3rd anchor in 4th Avenue's Greek-food trinity. Greek Touch, next door to Manny's amazing House of Pizza, is by no means an authentic Mediterranean restaurant. Instead, it serves up Downtown Nashville's best Southern-American Greek. Why Southern-American Greek? Subtle things. The sweetness of their salad dressing, the mildness of their "feta" cheese, the way the woman behind the counter pronounces Tzatziki, ta-see-key. Cute. It's also fast, maybe the fastest to-go lunch in the Arcade. You'll be back at the office eating your "Gyro and two" in minutes. Avoid the veggie wrap, served with optional Cheez-whiz, and get the yummy Spanakopita plate. Would I notice if they served it with a biscuit instead of pita bread? Probably not. Is it mighty tasty, none the less? You know it, y'all!

My absolute favorite Greek restaurant downtown!! Their cucumber dressing is the best. I typically get the Athenian salad but have had just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed!

A pretty decent lunch place in the arcade downtown. It is definitely a no frills fast service place. They probably have sacrificed freshness a bit for speed. Not necessarily a bad thing if you only have a short time to get your food and eat when the boss man is waiting for you back at the office. Just adjust expectations accordingly. The good: The service is fast and efficient, the food is affordable and decent, and the atmosphere does not feel like you are in Nashville. The not so good: There are better, more authentic (albeit pricier) places not too far away. The food is only decent, not great, and there is not really seating inside unless you like sitting next to the order line. Overall if you are in the arcade and looking for a quick and easy lunch then the Greek Touch is a solid choice and a good value.

The Arcade is one of the many places to eat a very cheap, ordinary lunch in downtown Nashville, but the Greek Touch is an exception because they actually make good food! They always have a line out the door during the noon rush, but they move everyone through pretty quickly. If you head over there before or after the rush, you won't have any wait and get the same great food. You can order spinach spanakopita, or a gyro platter with salad or whole seasoned red potatoes. The salad has real Feta cheese, whole black olives, tomatoes and oil and red vinegar dressing. They give you an enormous amount of food, it is so filling, and its all around $6-$7. They always have a special of the day too, which you can get for usually $1 less. If for some reason you are not completely stuffed after eating your gyro platter you can order yourself a piece of pie! They have a couple different classic southern choices, chess pie or cherry pie, and they have Baklava. The seating is pretty minimal and not very private, since the line for food is directly next to your nose. I would recommend getting your lunch to go ,and sitting at the nearby Legislative plaza on 4th street. They have outdoor tables, and free wifi!

First of all, if you don't work downtown or have never been to the Arcade, you need to check it out. It's a historic piece of Nashville, and it's a great people-watching spot during lunch hour. The Greek Touch is one of my favorite restaurants in the Arcade. The owner is usually cooking and his wife is there ringing you up. There's also someone else taking your order, so make up your mind ahead of time. I would usually get the gyro plate/combo which had both your gyro meat and grilled chicken. It came with rice as well as a Greek salad with lots of feta and olives. My only complaint is I would usually have to order some extra yogurt sauce since I go through the whole container that comes with the combo. And what would a Greek place be without baklava for dessert? Yum. There are only a few tables inside the crowded dining area (you'll have people waiting in line right next to you), so you can always get it to go and sit in the Arcade or take it outside on a nice day. The Greek Touch is also a bargain.
