The worst buffet I ever attempted to eat. $7.95 for lunch, but a dollars worth was all I could stand. I took a picture but it wasn't any good either.

They actually have some decent food for a cheap buffett. I wrote reviews on some fancy asain places in Las Vegas that were gross compared to Nam King. Can be better on some days than others.

Simply, tasty food at an affordable price. While the Chinese food is good, I would recommend staying away from any of the "American" items that they offer (aside from the fried shrimp). The Lunch Buffet is less expensive, but still offers plenty of choices. Some days the food is better than others, so this place is best for those who are not very picky eaters. Some days certain foods taste great, others they taste like leftovers from the night before. One constant on my plate is the peppersteak with onions/peppers. It is also worth noting that while it costs an extra couple bucks, the dinner buffet has different items than the lunch buffet such as peel em' and eat em' shrimp, mussels, and more fake crab than you can shake a stick at On a good day, any plate should include the following: - pile of lo mein - peppersteak w/onions - chicken on a stick - pile of fried shrimp - dumplings* - crab rangoons* - egg roll * * = try a small amount first, sometimes they are great! other times not so much. plate 2 should look like a variation of the first, based on what tasted good... except this time make sure to get some of the delicious fried rolls with sugar on them. plate 3 ( if you dare... then i'm sure you know what to do) make sure to try some ice cream! Great place for the kids as well -------------------------------------------- The bottom line is this: Cheap, fast, tasty (almost always), family friendly, avoid the "american food" and hopefully you'll think it's A-OK like I do. - Jake

I was not impressed with the food here. Most of it tasted like it came from out of a jar they bought at the dollar store. The rice was, weird. I attempted to get some pepper and so much gunk filled the lid, nothing was ever gonna make it through. They could use a serious makeover, I mean seriously, they have picnic table tablecloths. We were definitely unsure of what something resembling pineapple was. The food was edible and somewhat fresh though, and staff was friendly.

I've been going here for years. Unfortunately the quality of the food has dropped terribly. I won't be coming back. I kept coming back this year hoping it would get better again but it hasn't. The facility and decor is needing to be renovated badly. Five years ago I would've gave this place four stars.

This restaurant is close to my house. I love Chinese food, but I will pass this place to go somewhere else. Just like all Black people can't cook Soul food, all Chinese can't cook Chinese food. This place is dirty, the people are rude and the food is barely eatable. You know the place is nasty when your feet sticks to the carpet. Everything I ate was fried, in fear that if I didn't the germs wouldn't be killed if I ate anything else. Sweew, I got out alive w/o food poison.... Thank you... Thank you ver much

one of my favorite local chinese buffets - certainly a tired old stereotype of a decor, begging for a makeover... do not let that scare you off... the food is awesome, always properly prepared - this is my goto place for chinese buffet - i have always enjoyed the food and this place has been there forever.

This place has been around for a long time, and though it is a far cry from fine dining, it's good for what is is: Chinese food, buffet style. The food is your very typical, traditional Chinese-American, with items like Fried Rice, Won ton Soup, Hot and Sour Soup, Egg Rolls, Lo Mein, Sweet and Sour Chicken and Pork, Kung Pao Chicken and Cashew Chicken, along with many others. One this is for sure here. You won't leave hungry.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
