A coworker recommended this place so I figured I'd check it out since it was right around the corner from the office I was training in. From the outside, this place does not look very nice at all and it doesn't get much better once you walk in...which is fine as I'm used to the ghetto looking taco shops in San Diego that end up being amazing. Unfortunately being from San Diego I've had the opportunity to have some very good Mexican food and although this was good, it could never compare with the tacos from back home. Their service was amazing!

I think this might have moved from a nearby location, but I'm not sure. This is a traditional mexican place, not tex-mex. It is extremely good, the guac is well worth ordering, as are any of the tacos. They do tortas, and they are ok, but I think the tacos are better. The only exception is the Cuban torta, it's excellent!

Saw the ratings and work near by. Wow. Everyone was right. Authentic Mex for sure. The guacamole is to die for. Mixed up the tacos and really liked the chorizo. If your in the MEM airport area, give this place a try.

A coworker took us here one day for lunch, saying she'd gone there for lunch at her last job. Pulling up, this place looks like any other little strip mall restaurant in the country. Once you walk in it has a very Subway-ish feel to it. However, the dining experience is totally different though. First of all, it's a sit-down restaurant. That's a nice touch. Second, the food is AMAZING. You MUST try the guacamole. Go ahead and order two servings. The two of the people who were with us didn't like guacamole until they tried it here. I think the reason is that it tastes like they made it when you ordered it, and it's not that nasty pureed stuff you get at other places. Nice, fresh chunks of avocado and tomato with lime is what you get. Truly an incredible experience. The tacos are amazing also. You order them a la carte so you can make your meal whatever you want, big or small. I love this place. I think they evern make their orn tortillas. The best thing about this place is the price. You could eat a huge meal for about $6. Everything at this place is so fresh and good, I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. My only complaint is that it's not closer to my home.

Good street tacos at a great price. The guacamole is the best in town. Two tacos will fill you up. Service is fast and freindly. This is certainly on our lunch rotation

This place is fantastic. It has a simple menu and everything is delicious. I tried the tacos first and thought they were really good, just meat onions corn tortilla and lime. The tortas are awesome. They are basically Mexican subs. It comes with avocado, beans, grilled onions, tomato and your choice of meat. The burritos are in a class of their own. They have meat, onions, peppers topped with cheese stuffed in a flour tortilla, serve with pico and sour cream on the side. Their quesadilla's are just as delicious as everything else. It is a flour tortilla stuffed with meat and cheese, served with sour cream and pico on the side. This place is great for lunch. You can call in ahead of time and everything is always ready and waiting when you get there. The guacamole is definitely worth trying and they also serve horchata.

Quick, fresh, and cheap. You can grab a good meal for $5. They started to not give free chips unless you order guacamole or cheese dip. Service is good, not always fast though due to cooking to order. Great place for lunch, I've never eaten dinner.

We read the good reviews and came straight away. We walked into the mexican sauna I guess because it was only like 100 outside and 110 inside, don't worry they had a fan going so it was like a convection oven and by the time we left we were perfectly cooked!! The food was pretty good, seriously it was hard to enjoy because all I wanted to do was eat it like a seagull eats food so I could get out of the steam room. From what I remember before heat stroke kicked in was that the tacos were good enough that after eating 2 and seeing 1 on the plate I ordered one more Al Pastor because they had REAL pineapple and you are stupid not to eat at least 4 and I'm highly intelligent so 4 it had to be. Go in cooler times and you might enjoy the food even more but as I said i do remember the tacos being tasty.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
