My wife and I used to go to Fuji's all the time. One day when we went there, I had a baby roach in my drink and there was also a full grown one in the wall. At first, the management gave me a discount (20%). Then, after seeing the errors of their ways, they did not charge me. I thought that maybe this was an isolated incident, but after I spoke to several other people who used to go there, I found out this was not the case. Who knows, they may have cleaned things up by now, but I am one customer who will not be going back.

Yeah, we enjoyed Fuji Steak House. We got there early, so the table wasn't full. And we were entertained by the chef who put on a great show while preparing our dinner. The steak and scallops were very good. If there was a downside, it was the sauce. They only have one sauce, and I didn't much care for it.

First visit tonight and will be the last. The place is filthy. From the greasy fingerprints all over the doors to the sticky, dirty floors, to the grease filled vents above the tables to the dusty, broken shades in the windows. And the food at the hibachi tables was no better. Regardless of what you ordered everything was drowned with this sickeningly sweet sauce. It was bad, just bad. The whole teppan table thing is done so much better at so many other places.

I am a fan of Fuji's hibachi seating and their yum-yum sauce. The prices are good and chefs are great. I have never liked sushi so I can't speak for it. I carry the family there quite often.

wow.. disappointing... I sat at the bar not the sushi bar cuz the sushi bar is very small. No big deal I thought I would eat my sushi while watching the game. But NOOO. this place is over ran with chitlins. way too many loud kids. If that wasn't enough... I order a Fuji mt and a spicy salmon roll. I was unable to tell which was which. They were covered in "orange gravy" Wost sushi ever. I had no idea what i was eating because of this damn gravy of sorts. I'll pass ... yea the pricing isn't bad but what good is it if it is no worthy of eating.

This is your typical Japanese Steakhouse. I wouldn't say there is anything superb about it, but the food is decent and the prices are the same. Pros: -The spicy rice has great flavor, and I haven't been to another hibachi place that offers the same thing. (Its not very spicy, but very flavorful) -Their sushi menu is decent. If you appreciate top-grade sushi, go elsewhere. If you like spicy mayo and rolls with cream cheese, this is the place. -They have all sorts of hibachi meal combos, including mahi-mahi, crab (imitation), salmon. -Their drinks are cheap. Cons: -They put teriyaki sauce on EVERYTHING. BEWARE! I'd ask for NO teriyaki when they cook and get the sauce on the side. Some chefs (the woman) use more than others, but definitely beware of this if you aren't a teriyaki fan. To me, hibachi is much better without. -They serve the veggies close to last. -Service is average to slow. -I've had better ginger dressing.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants! I'm not a huge fan of Asian cuisine, but this is a major exception! They prepare the food right in front of you in the hibachi grilling section of the restaurant, and the chefs have fun and add an entrainment aspect to it, too, great for families! If you're on a time schedule or prefer a more private meal, do the dining area option as opposed to the hibachi grill. You can order the same stuff, but it's a little quicker and quieter.

Wanted to give 2 1/2 stars. This is NOT a traditional Japanese steakhouse. You will NOT sit around a grill while the chef prepares your food. There didn't appear to be a single Japanese person in the building. That being said... The food was good. The pricing was good. The atmosphere was meh. We started with the shaggy dog maki roll which was delicious and an order of calamari which was just ok. Their sauces were very good. Yum yum, teriyaki and spicy sauces were fantastic, they should jar the stuff and sell it. Steak, veggi, and shrimp dinners were all good, but I have had better. The only really bad point was when the waitress stuck her thumb and fingers in our glasses when she picked them up to refill them. And NO we didn't get fresh glasses, or finish our drinks If you need a place to eat right off of I65 this is an adequate place.

Was there a few weeks ago for a birthday. Food was great, and like the environment. The prices were very reasonable and will return.

This is not a sushi place and has gone down hill. The ripped booths are in desperate need of new cushions. When this place opened the sushi was fresh and it was beautiful! Now the warm sushi has a strong odor. Not cool, the rice is gooey and stale. I have sent the sushi back several times. I will not be having sushi there again Fulins is a much better choice on same street. The hibachi is typical and service excellent. I will return for that. Advice: remodel and use only fresh ingredients regardless of cost.

This is my absolute favorite Sushi place. We started going to the Rivergate location and loved it. We had a great waiter (Charlie) while we were there and when Hendersonville opened, he went to that location (and so did we). The Hendersonville location is by far the biggest and most modern of the the three (soon to be 4) locations. Charlie is the best! (he isnt really a waiter, but helps to run the place) We went in on Friday night and its been months since we had been there. He remembered what we wanted to drink and the app that we get (crab eggroll) and put it in as soon as we were seated. I always get the TN roll and the Hard Rock and Roll roll. My husband likes to try the Trust Me roll, which makes me nervous because the Sushi Chef makes something based on the other rolls you order. We have never been disappointed with this roll. We sometimes sit at the Hibachi Grill and love the entertainment, the chefs are always funny and the food is ALWAYS great! oh and the YUM YUM roll lives up to its name.

Either Hibachi or sushi you can't go wrong. The food is good and I do have my favorites here. The staff can be a bit overwhelmed at times and not food item is great but for the most part, one of my favorite spots in Hendersonville.

The food is very good and the hibachi chefs are great. But be warned that if you have a party of 6 or more the waitress is guaranteed their tip and do not seem to care. The waitress we had recently never came back until it was time to give us our bill. We had to ask repeatedly for drink refills, to-go boxes and extra napkins.
