Best Strawberry Margaritas! I was introduced to Dos Margaritas a few years ago from my friends and it's still one of my favorites! From the food to the margaritas, it's all excellente! Great authentic Mexican!

I have eaten at this local restaurants several times. This time I'm giving a mixed review. The food is delivered quickly. I ordered a chicken fajita quesadilla. I received a beef quesadilla. But, it was still yummy. I also ordered 2 margaritas. The first was great, pale green, flavorful, the second, not so much. That margarita was bright green with a little bug friend floating around. The server dashed away before I brought it to his attention. This is an average Mexican restaurant. Next time I will go to Ricardo's in hendersonville. It always pleases.

Love this place! Always fast friendly service and great prices!! It's one of my families favorite go to place for Mexican! We also get take out from here on a regular basis!! They only problem we have ever had was sitting at the bar. For some reason service is slower and the bartenders sometimes seen annoyed when people sit up there!!

I will be honest . I will never go here again . The minute I walked in , I had two female staff members giving me evil eye with attitude for some reason . Sat down outside , the people sitting next to us were obnoxious . Talking about their cocaine addictions and who they've slept with . In front of my three year old daughter ! The staff didn't feel the need to tell them to calm down . They clearly were drunk , loud and obnoxious . When I got my food ? I was sort of grossed out . It wasn't good at all ! Sloppy , chicken was watery and smelt like it was old . Staff was simply horrible . The females seem to either hate their jobs so bad that they skew like they want someone to rescue their souls lol . They cop attitude and stare at you the entire time . I will never go back . It was that bad .

2 Stars for being open late. Here's my beef: When you close at 11, do not proceed to tell people who are enjoying their fake margaritas that they need to leave. The only thing good about our meal was the seasoned shrimp appetizer. Chicken wings pretty bad. Service worse.

Do NOT leave anything at your table here...the staff will steal it.

I've only been once but hope to go again and try some more things out. I was surprised to see that they have more options on their menu than other typical Mexican restaurants (they all seem to have a standard menu, don't they?!). The salsa was unfortunate. Nothing special, just the standard red puree salsa that you find most other places. Same with the cheese dip- thin, white drippy sauce. I had the Popular Vegetarian Plate and my husband had the Sour Cream Enchiladas. The portions were large and the prices seemed to be cheaper than elsewhere. The veggie plate had a chile rellano, chalupa, cheese enchilada and rice and beans. Unfortunately they put the same sauce on everything even my husbands sour cream enchiladas. It was good, almost more of a gravy, but I would have liked a different sauce somewhere as it ended up making things taste the same. I also had a margarita which was fine. I liked it more once I found out that apparently I got it during happy hour and got a second one for free!

My husband and I love the food. We usually do carry out. The prices are very reasonable and the food consistently good. We agree that the salsa is just okay. White queso dip is yummy. Chips are always fresh. The restaurant always seems to be busy which is a good sign.

All through my high school days and even until very recently, this place was known as Loco Lupe's. Well, the name (and the ownership) has changed, and this place went from good to fantastic in a pretty short period of time. It's always been a solid restaurant with relatively inexpensive drinks and entrees, but they've apparently really stepped it up in recent months. I was out in Hendersonville last night and decided to have dinner with an old friend at our old high school haunt. I was a bit surprised to see the place had been remodeled and the sign now read "Dos Margaritas," but I quickly realized all the changes were for the better. They now have a very lovely patio that extends in front of the restaurant, and, because smoking is forbidden in restaurants in Tennessee nowadays, the patio serves as the de facto smoking section. The complimentary salsa is very tasty, and, while Dos Margaritas serves all the traditional Tex-Mex dishes you'd expect, they're cheaper and better than average. As with most Mexican joints, Dos Margaritas offers lots of lunch and dinner combos, and they're probably the best way to go. The margaritas are delicious (they would have to be, given the restaurant's name), and my meal was pretty cheap. I had two margaritas and a combo that included rice, two enchiladas and a taco all for just $13! This place is a winner. Too bad it's out in Hendersonville.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Hendersonville. They're open late and on warm evenings, they have a patio to sit out on while you dine. Prices and portion sizes are great and their wait staff is friendly and attentive.

My family and I LOVE this restaurant. This is not hi-end fine dining. It is a 'standard' Mexican (Tex-Mex) restaurant. The food has good flavor. The service is consistently above average to excellent. The prices can't be beat. Out of the multiple times we've eaten here (100?), we've had bad service twice. We let Nelson know and he made it right. If you want a good meal, in an atmosphere where you can enjoy your time with your family without breaking the bank, this is it.

This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! Starting with the chips and salsa: Amazing! Great flavor, super fresh, the spicy salsa was incredible. The queso dip was super smooth and creamy. Several in our party had the combo fajitas. They come with steak, chicken, shrimp and chorizo. It was spectacular! I had the steak Colorado. The flavor and spice were perfect for me. The Texanos Margaritas were delicious and the perfect accompaniment to our meal. All the staff was super friendly and responsive. Love Dos Margaritas!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
