After today it is safe to say I will never be back to Wild Wing Café. They do have good wings but their not anything over the top. Today I tried for 20 minutes to call in an order for take out and the phone was constantly busy. So I drove up there and thought since it was football Saturday they must have been slammed. I pull in the parking lot and hardly anyone is at the restaurant. I go inside and tell the two hostesses I wanted to place an order for "take out". Then told them I've been trying to call them and their phone wasn't working. Well turns out the phone at the hostess stand was off the hook!!! So I ordered 10 wings which they told me would be 15 minutes which I was fine with. Sat down at the bar and watched some football, then 15 minutes passed. Then noticed people who sat down at the bar AFTER me were getting their food and they had wings too. After 25 minutes I was furious, I left and will never return. Maybe this is the reason why on football Saturday nobody was in there! Because your service sucks!!! Get some hostesses that care about the customers and not looking pretty in their dresses and boots in a sports restaurant!!

Best wings in the area. The meat is bigger and better than Buffalo Wild Wings and they have numerous sauces or rubs. I highly recommend the flaming Parmesan or Tennessee fireball. Also if I ever go on Wednesdays I get a half off salad. The wild chef is amazing ! Great service too! I know all the managers and they're all very friendly. Also, come out at 6pm on Tuesdays for the run club. One free beer, half off apps, trivia, and BOGO wings !

Wow. I'll just get to the point and say this place is kinda sucky. There is a lunch buffet for wings and I wanted a quick lunch so I chose to sit at the bar and order the buffet. The wings were greasy and bland - even the so-called "hot" wings. The only sides were some under cooked tots and some too-oily pasta salad. If that wasn't depressing enough, the bartender was unattentive and not friendly. The first clue should have been that it's lunch on Friday in Cool Springs and the place wasn't busy. Now I know why.

I tried Wild Wing Cafe with my family after purchasing a Sharing Spree. The environment was very friendly for kids because it is pretty loud. It has lots of tvs so my hubby was happy too. :) The amount of sauces to try with wings was also really fun for us. However, they could use a couple more (kid friendly) side options besides celery. Overall great quality to the boneless wings. We will be back!

So this place opened up about a month ago and my fiancé have been interested in trying it since we noticed they were open and looked at the menu online. In all honesty, when she first read off the menu to me, she had me hungry and drooling in no time. But that left the question, would the food be as delicious as it was described. Well, having tried some of their competition, this is one of the best Chicken wing joints in town! And the know how to do cheese right! We ordered an appetizer of chips and queso and while the chips were a little dry, the queso was amazing. So good in fact I dare say it was better than what I have had at many a tex-mex restaurant. While we waited for the food, they were nice enough to put on the London Olympic Opening Ceremonies on the TV. They had some speakers wired up to a projector in the back of the restaurant, but you could barely hear it. The need more speakers around the place for special events like the Olympics, March Madness, Super Bowl, World Series, etc... but that is just me. As for the chicken wings, they were amazing. We both had orders of chicken feathers (aka boneless chicken wings) which were quite tasty. I think my fiancé ordered the "rookie" sauce for hers, which was not much but that is okay. As for mine, I got Jalapeño Cheddar (more jalapeño than cheddar) and Loco Bueno (a taco flavored sauce). Between the two I liked the Loco Bueno best, but I will probably try something else next time. While not her thing, I loved the waffled steak fries, which tasted amazing not only by themselves but also dipped in the remaining queso from the chips. Granted they were a little busy, the service was decent, nothing to rave about though. Oh, and I nearly forgot, their mac n cheese is amazing, seriously, really cheesy and full of flavor. If there is one thing this place knows how to do well it is cheese. They put it on everything they can. It was on the toast that my fiancé got with her salad, it was in her salad and it was in my Jalapeño Cheddar sauced wings, but they still tasted more of jalapeño then cheddar. We will definitely be returning soon, probably October with some out of town friends who are huge wing fans!

Decent wings, and sides...have to get there for a "frosty cold adult beverage evening", to see how THAT is...but overall, a pretty decent drinks and wings place. A change of pace from the OTHER major chain wing place!

This is a small chain out of SC. The wings are a little above average, but the real deal is the lunch buffet - if you're down with getting fat, it's all-you-can-eat, but I prefer it because you can access several different types of wings. In a lot of ways, it's no different than Buffalo Wild Wings, but I preferred the wings here by a margin.

I have been dying to get to this place since hearing of it opening here. Finally I was able to come in for lunch today and it was really good. Our server was Samantha and she did a great job taking care of us. I ordered the single order of ten wings which I chose the 'red dragon' & "ginger' sauces. The red dragon was my favorite with a tangy teriyaki spiced just hot enough to make me want more. Although when I tried ordering a drink on one of the inserts in the menu with the football stuff I was unable to get that since they only do them on Sunday & Mondays. But the Hillbilly Tea I ordered instead was spectacular. One was good enough for me. It's a pretty strong drink with firefly & jack daniels mixed with the mixers. Samantha informed me of the lunch specials they have which are timed to 30 minutes from order to when you get your check or you get your meal for free. Sounds like a pretty cool special with a lot of selections for that lunch menu. However, I was there specifically for the great selection of wing sauces. I highly recommend checking out the 'Grab-A-Duck' claw machine they have near the bar and patio area. I couldn't resist sticking a dollars worth of quarters in there to try and catch one. And I did manage to get one at least. I hope to be back again sooner rather than later.

Excellent wings, but a little mild. Their heat rating are dumbed down for the masses, so order at least two levels above what you normally would. Service both times I visited was beyond excellent. I would recommend this spot above any other wings restaurant I have visited!

Atmosphere was good. Food was average. Service was poor. Took about 15 minutes for the server to take our food order. Ordered wings as an appetizer and two entrees. Food came out about 20 minutes later--all at the same time. It was not busy when we were there so I'm not sure what took so long. If you're going to offer wings as your main focus they have to be the best or your going to have trouble surviving with mediocre service.

went for a drink and a bite to eat here to check the place out.. 20 beers on tap..!! good wing flavors and they are tasty.. 2 fer tuesdays you get an order of wings and they double it for free..!! also have a nice happy hour, 3$ talls for domestics and varying $$ for the specialties.. overall, nice place.. i will visit again..

I love Wild Wings, but as mentioned in other reviews the service is sub-par. It was Cinco de Mayo and the server didn't even point out the specials nor did she know if they were still doing the beer special that is still advertised online. (They aren't or at least the charged normal price). Coming from Mt Pleasant and knowing how this place should run, it makes me fearful for their survival. I think the servers should spend some time back in Mt Pleasant and Charleston to see how service should really be for the Wild Wings I know. Food is still great!

One of my "Go To" places in Cool Springs. (I can't believe I actually have some "Go To" places in Cool Springs, but alas I digress, and you gotta go where your life takes you sometimes.) Nice, big space. Two bar areas and a great stage. TVs of all sizes all over. As God intended, the wings are NOT breaded. $3 well drinks all day, every day. Happy Hour is a cool concept called "The Drink Exchange". It's kind of like the stock market where drink prices go up and down based on popularity. They have screens with scrolling Drink Tickers and everything. I'm sure they can manipulate the system (Hey, it really IS like the stock market!), but it's fun. Tuesday nights are 2 for 1 wings. Favorite sauces: Tennessee Fireball, The General, Red Dragon, Regular Buffalo Hot. All are spicy, but won't overwhelm you. They fry the wings and then finish them off under a broiler. Puts a nice glaze to some of the sauces. I like mine extra well done so I tell them to fry them hard and leave them for an extra round in the oven. Perfect. Tried a burger once and it was good. Try the "Chicken Feathers" if you're in the mood for lighter fare. They are just grilled tenders on skewers, but they will put any sauce on them for you. The staff is fantastic. Kim, Jessica, Jenn, Will, and John will take good care of you at the bars. If you're into 80's music (and let's be honest, who isn't?) you should check out a band called "Rubik's Groove" that plays here periodically. Good times.

Hate to leave a bad review but this place has earned it. Food is mediocre and overpriced, but the service is what is really lethal. Greeters are always cool and indifferent, but this past Saturday was the last straw. Wife and I arrived for early afternoon lunch and asked for patio seating (after waiting about 10 minutes while the staff wandered around and chitchatted). Were told we had to sit inside because they had a large private party coming in about 45 minutes. Meanwhile the patio was more than half full of guests. We left and won't be back ever. I'd be shocked if this place lasts a year.

Feb 22, my 4 roommates and I went to Wild Wing to see one of my roommate's uncle play in the band. We called on Thursday to see if we could make a reservation for 5- they said yes, so we made our reservation for 7:45 Friday night. Friday at 2 PM someone from Wild Wings called us to confirm the reservation for 7:45 and we confirmed that we would be there. We got to Wild Wings at 7:40 and they said it'd be a 10-15 minute wait, which was fine. 20 minutes passed and no one had explained anything so we asked the hostess what was going on and she said they were waiting on the group at a specific table to leave and that it should be any second because they had cashed out and were just finishing their beer. So we waited another 15 minutes. Then I asked again what was going on because 3 other couple sat down that had walked in after us. She said she was sorry and didn't know why they hadn't left yet, which didn't explain why we weren't sat at one of the tables the other 3 couples had been seated at- so I clarified that we did not care where we sat, we just needed to sit down because one of my girls is anemic and has low blood sugar, so we were getting worried about her. I wanted to go ahead and place an order since we were told just 5 more minutes until we were seated so it would hopefully be ready by the time we sat down and the hostess said she couldn't do that, so I asked to speak with the manager to see what we could do- she went to get him. An obviously younger guy walks up and asks if he can get us any drinks because we would be sat in "just 5 more minutes" (it has been 45 minutes past 7:45 by now) and he was sorry, so I assumed that was the manager. SO, after an hour and 10 minutes and SIX couples sitting down before us, we finally sat down and the guy I was led to believe was the manager was taking care of us along with another guy. They were very friendly, but when he went to get the checks, I told him I was very frustrated at how everything had gone that night and as the manager he didn't do a good job making sure we were happy- his reply was "oh, I'm not the manager".... then I was upset that the hostess got a faux manager and asked my waiter to get the manager. He took all of our checks (we were paying separately) and said he would get him. He then brings back the 5 checks (he ran our cards) and no manager, stating that he couldn't find the manager. So I looked up, pointed to a man that looked like he was the manager and said is that not him? So he walked over there and as I'm watching him talk to the manager about what's going on, he has displayed an obvious attitude about it. The manager walks over to talk to me and I told him the whole story and he acted like he had no care in the world about it. When I said we had a reservation his reply was "well we don't take reservations for less than 10"... which meant whoever took the reservation and whoever called the next day to confirm the reservation was not aware of this. So he said he would make sure that it was talked about in their next meeting. Which was frustrating for me because I didn't understand why he, as the manager, didn't want to make sure we were happy. So when I told him that any other manager would have at least offered an APPETIZER on the house, if not taken care of the dinner, he replied with "well I can't do that your cards have already been run." Then, finally, he takes the cards and the receipts, and takes off the 6$ appetizer we had to order to get some kind of food in my friend's stomach before we had an issue, taking $1.30 off our checks. Basically, it was our first time there, we had heard nothing but good things about the place and were excited to see her uncle play, and just wanted to have a good night out... After dealing with all of this, it was just not a good time- and we would have just left if it weren't for her uncle playing. I feel like if any of us felt like the manager cared at all about the issue, we would have understood that they messed up and been able to let it go, but the whole situation was just ridiculous. And THEN the regional manager contacted me and said he asked the manager to do something about this and after weeks of no contact, I contacted the regional manager to let him know his store manager had not contacted me and his reply was "I can not make them reach out to you." NEVER will I go back- terrible management.

My family and I decided to try Wild Wing Cafe thanks to Sharing Spree, and we were pleasantly surprised! My husband and I were both afraid it would just be another chain restaurant in Cool Springs with average food, but it actually turned out to be rather delicious and excellent service. I purchased the Little B's sliders, and they were perfectly cooked with great flavor. My husband loves wings and tried two of their spicier sauces, and he gave them both a great recommendation. They also have a great kids menu - my daughter ordered the cheeseburgers with broccoli and had enough for two dinners. Overall, good food, great service and a casual atmosphere - we'll be back!

My family (husband and 3-year-old) love this place. The atmosphere is great and so is the food. There is a lot to choose from from several salad options to wings. We had great service the 3 times we have been here. I love their selection of wing sauces. I don't do the hot stuff and they have a good selection of wing sauces for those like me. Their kids meals are reasonable too! It is a great family place and a place to watch a game!

We visited on a Thursday night and there were many open tables. The waitress misheard our order and brought the wrong appetizer, but the buffalo chicken dip was alright so we didn't bother to say anything. We ordered 8 boneless wings each (half Thai and half honey sriracha). The wings are pretty bad- they're likely the kind that come frozen and have a lot of breading compared to actual chicken. Additionally, the Thai wings had little flavor and were burnt. My husband also ordered a beer. He was not carded, and the waitress didn't actually brought his beer until we asked for the check. She was nice enough though to take the beer off the tab. Overall, service is slow and not as attentive as you would expect for a Thursday. I don't really care to return and won't recommend it to friends.

I got the wings and they were good but I would ask to taste the sauce before ordering. My wife got the Asian chicken salad and she loved it. The service was bad for the second time

Been going a couple times a month on Tuesday's for three years. The service has been going down hill for over a year. Tonight was the last straw. Asked for the manager and he didn't have time to stop by. I bring customers and it has gotten to be embarrassing. I'm done.

I have been to this place a couple of times for lunch. The wing bar at lunch is sub par. The other items I have order there were no better. The service during lunch time is very slow. It took 30 mins to just get our checks , which isn't good for people who are trying to keep lunch under an hour. Some of the staff seems uninterested in doing their jobs. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

I wish I could give zero stars. The worst service I have ever had in my life. My husband's wings were good. My daughters food was alright. My "sirachos" were not that great as they were topped with raw onion that was not completely chopped and I ate a few chips with nothing but onion a few times which was disgusting. But that's a forgivable offense. What I cannot forgive was the complete and utter disrespect for us a patrons of their establishment. We waited a good 20 minutes before our drink order was taken. We than had to wait another 10 minutes for a waitress from another section to come speak while 2 waitress working the section we were sitting in walked past us multiple times. We ordered an appetizer from the insert, so not a regular item, and they got the order wrong twice and tried to blame us because the staff did not know the menu. All this while other people are being waited on and brought food without issue. One waitress with an absurdly heavy hanging belly had a particularly remarkable attitude. Then after bringing the appetizer AFTER our food arrived we were charged for all items and not given an "I'm sorry", a coupon or anything. We gave the standard 20% and left a note about the horrendous service. The staff has got to be delusional if they believe this type of service will allow them to thrive in Franklin.

Looking for someplace different, thought we would try Wild Wing Cafe in Cool Springs this afternoon. Got there and the place is over half empty. Hostess sits us at a table that need to be cleaned off. Waiter comes and we order a couple drinks. He brings over menus which are quite extensive. Told the waiter this was our first visit. Marie orders a burger they offer with about 6 choices to complete it. The waiter is one of these guys that doesn't write anything down - no chance of error there, right? I order wings and some special kind of chips. Waiter comes back - tells me they're out of the chips. Asks what I want instead. Without a menu, I say OK, just regular chips is find. Waiter says they think they're out of those as well but he would check. Comes back and says they are out. I said, OK, how about some kind of potato skins as I still don't have a menu. He looks at me, kind of frustrated, and says "how about just tater tots'? I said "how about this? You just bring us the check for these drinks - we're leaving". He stomps off and comes back and tossed the check on our table, I gave him no tip and wish there was a way to give a negative tip. Thought about asking for a manager, but since we'll never be back, opted just to go on and leave. Felt good not to put up with this crap.

ok, so after finally meeting up with my husband...he was at Buffalo Wild Wings. ;-( we enjoyed Good food. Good service. Super cold beers! Beautiful weather. After getting off to a rough start with service and timing, I think this place has finally worked it out. I will be back.

Wild Wings Cafe is a favorite of ours - especially when there's a good game on. The wings are great - better than that BWW's - good variety and good spice! Beer selection is pretty good - though really wish they offered a regular selection of porters or stouts to go with all of the lighter varieties and IPA's they offer. Spinach dip is also good - but chips are not always as fresh as we wish. Service is generally good - but sometimes (yesterday for example) it's less than stellar. In the warmer months it's great to eat on the covered patio area. All in all, we enjoy it!

Wild Wing Cafe has definitely grown on me over the last year. The food is very good and the tv situation is excellent. They have a big screen on one end and other tvs in several nooks throughout the restaurant. They do a good job of having several different games going and even the bar area is conducive to watching several games at once. Good for fantasy footballers like myself. The wings are good, much better than Buffalo Wild Wings. BWW seems to fry theirs to a crisp, but you are able to tell that the wings at WWC are still chicken. All of the flavors are good and they can get hot if you want. I'm proud to say that I've had the half order of Braveheart wings. This wasn't a contest. I was just manning up that day. I ate the first one and literally thought 'are these the hot ones' (as I had another 1/2 order of a more normal variety)? One wing later, I figured it out. My entire face was on fire. I can go native Thai with the best of them, but this may be the hottest thing I've ever experienced. I kept pressing. I'm working on wing three and I'm literally sweating everywhere. The waiter keeps bringing iced tea so that they don't have to call a trauma unit. It's freaking hot, man. Wing 4....it's still hot. I haven't gone numb or blacked out or anything that will end this yet. I'm almost to the top of Everest at this point. I can't remember if I had 5 or 6 wings. Maybe I did black out. However, I finished the ordeal and my wife is still sitting by me (good sport, right?). I'll also warn you that there will be residual effects to eating the Braveheart wings later after you have had time to digest them. Just letting you know. I don't hold this experience against Wild Wing Cafe. They were champs about keeping me alive. If you want a bar with above average food, go for it. This place is excellent.

I used to love Wild Wing Cafe but like other reviews have said, it's gone down hill and I unfortunately don't see it making it in a cut throat dining town like Franklin. I do hope they prove me wrong and turn things around. Food & Drink: I like their food. Never had any complaint for a far better than BW3 wing place. Beer selection is good and the menu has a lot to offer. I will say that when I'm feeling healthy, I like to get their feathers which are grilled. Well, they are about half of the size than what they used to be and not worth what you pay. That's the only complaint I have on their food. Wings are better than most and always consist at in size. Atmosphere: good. LOTS of room and table size selection. TV's everywhere. No complain on atmosphere. Service: it's just plain bad! The people are nice enough but when you have to apologize all throughout the service, not good. It's all in the kitchen. I can't figure out if they are understaffed, under qualified, under equipped or just plain underachievers. The one thing I can tell you is chicken, should not take that long. We love you Wild Wing Cafe and will continue to still embrace you (when we have 1.5 hours to spare) but PLEASE pull it together. I love the concept but that kitchen needs to be whipped into shape. Something to add after looking at the Yelp pics,,, BRING BACK THE BLUE WASHCLOTHS. Those were cool and set you a bit apart.

The wait staff is amazing, but the management clearly missed the memo on customer service. Will not be eating here EVER again. Rudi was very rude to us, and I am not interested in giving money to a business that thinks that his kind of actions are acceptable. Thanks, but no thanks.

A multitude of flavors of wings to choose from. I'll choose this place over Buffalo Wild Wings any day.

    (4)
  • Tim M.

The wings are so-so, especially from the wing bar during lunch. The sauces are really good but the quality if the chicken is pretty "blah". The same goes for their chicken sandwiches, the chicken was slightly over cooked and a little tough. Order wings specifically, that tends to be the wisest route to take. The kitchen is quick and you'll get them fresh and hot. Burgers are decent, salads are weak, typical of this kind of place. Chili con queso was actually good and we didn't wind up with a pile chips and no more dip either. Service is typically pretty quick, friendly, and accurate.

Reviewed this restaurant before, and give it three stars but I tried it again and got the lunch all-you-can-eat wing buffet and I was very pleased. Really good wings!

Had a previous bad experience with WWC due to poor customer service but thought we'd try it again. We managed to time our entry right at shift change between bartenders so it took more than a few minutes to get drinks ordered and delivered, but things haven't changed much since our last visit. The staff is very young and doesn't seem to get the "Customer Service" concept all that much. The wings are okay, the sauces good but with a tip we spent over $50.00 for ten wings, two drinks each, and two appetizers. For the same price I can go the the Tin Roof II with my Bride twice and have better food.

  • Mark W.

I gave Wild Wings a three overall but I would rate it differently if the service and beer selection was better. The food and entertainment are good but the service is lacking. They are always out of my favorite beers. There is no excuse to have it on the menu but be out of stock. I think it is poor management at the bar or restaurant level.

Love the food and had excellent service. Our prior visit they had a popular local music group and considering the crowd and our table size that night we had excellent service as well then.

Lunch buffet is over $10; way over priced. For fries and wings, not a great deal. Service is also slow. Good selection of different sauces for wings. A little too greasy. Mineos, while service is slow, has better wings.

  • Thomas C.

Subpar food ... Subpar service ... 0 stars if yelp would allow it. And the waitress actually told us the 40 min wait for our meal when the place was half full was due to two cooks quitting that evening. They were quick to bring me a check however. This place will be closed by Labor Day --- mark my word.

  • Daniel B.

Wild Wings Cafe ambience consists of a wide open place with lots of tables and a big rectangle bar with lots of TVs everywhere. The wings are meaty, tender, juicy, and the flavors are ok. I prefer a solid classic wing flavor (Franks Red Hot Sauce and Butter), but the flavors here are "more" than the classic. I am sure they are well liked. The Monday through Friday Lunch Buffet is less than $11 and features all you can eat wings with and without bones. The winter buffet includes soups and the warmer months feature salads. The staff is friendly and casual which is great for a sports bar. They have lots of beer on tap and drink specials. There is nothing just killer about this place, but it scratches the wing and sports TV itch.

I really like Wild Wings. I've had good experiences with them in the Carolinas and so I have been excited to go the Tennessee location. We walked in rather late and were told, the kitchen closes in about 30 but the fryers will stay open for another hour or so. No bigs, it's all about the wings so we go to the bar to and order. The bartender comes up and when we ask for menus he had to make sure the kitchen was still open. We were a little surprised and told him what the host out front told us, he went to check anyway and then came back to tell us what we already had told him. We ordered wings and they were as I remembered them: pretty good, distinct flavors and with a good amount of meat on the bones. Full and happy I was ready to pay the check and leave. We waited, waited and then waited some more. Our bartender was preoccupied with a waitress who had obviously come off shift and her phone of youTube clips. We would have tried to get the manager's attention to complain but he was over there yukking it up too. I'm sure I've seen more unprofessional behavior before, but not in recent memory. As I was whispering to my friend about doing a possible dine and dash the bartender managed to tear himself away and asked how we were doing. Good timing on that one. I'll wait until another Wild Wings opens nearby or until I go to another location out of state.

Disappointment! This was a favorite in Chas. SC but quality and service are really suffering at this location.

Good food, price is what you'd expect. Casual. Great beer selection. Was there Wednesday 6/4/14, apparently it is amateur mic night. Kids and all...before I go back, I'd DEFINITELY call 1st to make sure thats not happening. Their 'hot' wing sauce selection is good but the 'hot' is just normal buffalo.

Soo,.. My wife had nothing but praises about how good the wings are here after just eating here once, so I decided to give them a try. The Good: Love the setup, TVs everywhere plenty of seating, a game room and even a stage for Karaoke. Our waiter was pretty kool!, she informed my wife and i on what her favorite meals were and offered as much info as possible on what we may like to eat. Wifey ordered Spicy garlic wings and I ordered the Ultimate bacon burger. Wait time was not long at all and i must admit our waiter didn't bother us too much nor neglect us to little...she was just fine! The Bad: SO our food gets to us, and as we prepare to eat I noticed there was Mayo on my burger, now I read the menu in detailed to make sure there was no mayo mentioned and there wasn't, no biggie though! I figured i would just let the waiter know that i am allergic to mayo and they would gladly take is back and fix it..well once the waiter returned I informed her about the issue and she replied and I quote " OH, well we can just scrap the mayo off the bun and bring it back" ..ummm no ma'am you can't because like i informed you I'm allergic to mayo so can i have another top bun? She says " Hold on while I get the manager"...o....k.....is it that serious? but whatever. So the manager comes to our table and says "Hello what kind of reaction does Mayo give you cause I have a food allergy as well" UMMM WHAT DUDE!?? WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH FIXING MY MEAL? SHOULDN'T YOU ASK WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU LIKE OR HOW CAN I FIX IT?!! ...so I replied......'IT MAKES ME WANNA WHUPP RESTAURANT MANAGERS ASSES FOR ASKING DUMB QUESTIONS, SO I TRY TO AVOID IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE WHEN OUT!!!.." last time I checked it was their job assure customer is happy not diagnose what ingredient specifically cause an allergic reaction!!! I ended up not ordering anything and just eating off my wife's plate which was really good! So kudos on the wings! Overall: I will most likely go back but no time soon, and when i do i will just stick to the wings and a few beers.

Hey, I've got this great idea for a restaurant. It's like Buffalo Wild Wings...but...it's...well, let's just leave out the "Buffalo" part. I don't think anyone will notice. Ignoring the food for a moment, you're going to have a difficult time ever meeting anyone at this restaurant. If you want to eat here and meet people...then prepare for this conversation -- "Where are we meeting? " "Wild Wing Cafe." Oh, Buffalo Wild Wings? "No, Wild Wing Cafe." Is it the Buffalo Wild Wings by Walmart? "No, it's the Wild Wing Cafe by the old Borders." Fast forward two hours later. "We're by the bar. We have a table for 4." "I don't see you." "We're at Buffalo Wild Wings, right?" "Wild Wing Cafe" "What's the difference?" -- How Wild Wing Cafe's lawyers allowed them to have almost exactly the same name as their competitor is...well, special. BW3 was founded in 1982, Wild WIng Cafe was founded in 1990. As far as my Internet research has told me a) it is not an offshoot of BW3 and b) BW3 has never sued them for brand confusion. The wings...well, surprise...they're a lot like Buffalo Wild Wings in that for the most part, the flavors I've had sort of run together. Oh, they're edible and decent...but they're almost indistinguishable. There's not too much "ka-pow" to the spice. The prices aren't bad...it's definitely a lot cheaper than BW3. You can also apparently accidentally order a really cheap pitcher of some alcoholic concoction. Of course, if you want to watch an NHL playoff game and there's a guy in there watching Lehigh baseball, good luck getting them to turn one of the every single TVs in the joint off of the Lehigh baseball game. But other than that...it will do.

This place is going downhill fast. We went a few months ago and it was very good. We went today and it was totally opposite. They appeared to be very short staffed as when we walked in there were a bunch of empty tables and we still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. We started with the Hot Shots appetizer the cheese and sausage was ok on the inside but they were cooked too long and had a burnt taste. I had the Buffarella which the menu said was the best seller though the flavor was good the chicken tenders were supposed to be crisp but they were mushy. My wife had the sloppy joe it was nothing special, i made better at home. Both our fries were barely warm. Service was average at best. He barely came to our table at all to check on us. We should have sent the food back but we just wanted to get out of there. The only good thing was the Bud Light 2.75 draft. Not going

I became interested in trying this place when I saw that it was open in the location where the previous Borders Cafe was located. I checked out their menu and my fiance and I decided to try it just recently after I left work early. The environment was nice, but loud like expected. I was excited to see that they were playing the opening ceremonies for the London Olympics, but could barely hear it. The service was fantastic, as our waitress suggested some items to us and was very friendly. We ordered an appetizer of chips and queso...it was delicious, but I didn't care much for the peppers and such that were added in to the queso. I decided to order their grilled chicken (aka Chicken Feathers) with their Wild West marinade (tangy ranch flavor) and fries, along with a salad. The salad was delicious, and I also enjoyed the cheese toast they added to it on the side (which had my fiance drooling, lol). I tried out the chicken, and it was fantastic! I didn't really taste the ranch until I was finished with it, but it was still delicious. The fries were ok (after dipping them in the remainders of ranch dressing), but I would have preferred them to be a little more crispier in my opinion. All in all, i enjoyed the meal and can't wait to try more of their food!

Worst service I think I've ever had and waitress and manager could care less. Food took forever, waitress disappeared and food was cold when it arrived. Definitely will not be back.

Took at least 15 to get water, and close to 1 hour for food. Keeping in mind that this was after the lunch rush. There were no more than 20 people there, tops. The only reason why I give them two stars was that all the staff seem nice. The food was horrible. The garlic sauce on the wings tasted like fish had been cooked on the same grill. The ribs were way over cooked. In fact, out of the $21 bill, the free water & lemon were the only thing that was tasty and I would consume again there. Plenty of TVs and a couple of bar areas, probably a great place for kids - just wish I had a better experience.

I received an invitation to come to Wild Wing Cafe tonight, and as it's new and I hadn't yet visited, I decided why not? My first impression was that Buffalo Wild Wings, Logan's, and Tin Roof had somehow spawned a love-child in a weird, triumvirate mating ritual. There are televisions everywhere, memorabilia of both the sporting and whimsical nature adorning the walls, and throngs of people, including a few children. If you don't want to sit at a table, bypass the host stand and seat yourself in one of the two bar areas; between the two bars and the cocktail tables there was ample available seating, even at 9 pm on a busy Friday. Everyone at the bar seemed to be having wings, and everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying them, so of course, I ordered the wings. As is my long tradition upon having wings at a new wing place for the first time, I ordered the hottest wings on the menu. Labeled the "Braveheart" wings, the adjacent bar patrons told me that I would be doing my best Mel Gibson as William Wallace impression, crying "FREEDOM" at the top of my lungs after a few bites, before being forced to either: vomit, attempt to flush my tongue with a never-ending stream of frosty beer, dive head-first into the bar's ice bin, or possibly a combination of all three. My response? Game on! If grading on a scale of hotness from 1-10, with one being naked wings and ten being immediate tears springing to one's eyes, sweating, and burning of the lips, tongue and throat, these clock in at about an eight. The wings weren't the meatiest I've had, but they were definitely bigger than Buffalo Wild Wings' wings and most other chains. I do have to applaud Wild Wing Cafe for the balance they achieve in their flavor and heat, at least on the "Braveheart" wings. All too often, the "hottest" of hot wings are spiced beyond real human consumptive ability, overly sauced with what can only be described as liquid napalm that proceeds to get EVERYWHERE, including, inevitably, one's eyes. Thankfully these were sauced appropriately and were more than just heat. That said, I rarely meet a dish that is too spicy for me to enjoy. The service was friendly and attentive enough; the initial greet from the bartender came a little slowly, but all subsequent interactions were both friendly and timely. Impressive, especially considering one bartender confided in me that this was her first bartending gig --she looked like she'd been tending bar far longer than the three weeks that the restaurant has been open. In short, if you want a wide selection of wings, beer, and sporting events on your television, give Wild Wing Cafe a try. There's no shortage of space and as the newness wears off, I doubt they're going to be running much of a wait for tables. The competition in the area gets just a little too crowded for my taste, but then again, I've yet to experience Wild Wing Cafe on a game day. Until then, we'll just say I'm a fan.

The wings were dry, the waitress was nice but every single thing she brought out had either something missing or was just horrible looking and/or tasting. I went with 2 girlfriends who had been before and they both say it's hit or miss with the quality of the food. Tonight was definitely a miss! I will take my wing cravings elsewhere next time...

Buffalo Wild Wings minus the Buffalo??? Hmmm.... well they do have good wing specials and the bartenders are good. Not a bad place to hang out. Not as good as B-Dubs tho

The food is OK (not great), but the real problem is the service. In my three lunch trips there, every time the service has been lackluster and as slow as can be. Slow meaning we have waited for almost our full lunch hour just to be served something off the menu. (The wing bar is obviously faster, but the choices and quality aren't great.) All three trips have taken 90 minutes to 2 hours from start to finish. To make things take even longer, try to use a coupon. Two times either I or one of my guests used an electronic buy-one-get-one coupon available on our iPhones. Both times, without permission, the server walked away from the table with our unlocked phones for an extended period (5-10 minutes) to find a manager to approve the coupon. And then several of us at the table got incorrect change. I almost ended up leaving there making money once! That wouldn't have been so bad, but it's pretty pitiful. Bottom line?: There are plenty of other places to choose in Cool Springs. Save yourself the frustration and time.

The boneless wings are just plain bad. We are usually not boneless wing people but decided to try them when they were cheaper than the bone-in. They were dry and tasteless. Not worth the time or money. We came in on a Sunday afternoon, they weren't busy and the wings should have been fresh, but they taste like they've been in the cooker for hours. Don't make out mistake!

I had the drunken shrimp which were awesome! My friend got the onion rings which were huge and served hot and crispy. I will definitely return for more than drinks and appetizers!

We went to the lunch buffet on 2/1/2013. It was a good experience, but there were a couple of things that made this a 2-3 star experience. The good. Wings are one of my favorite things to eat, and Wild Wings Cafe does a good job with their seasonings. They did a good job keeping up with the demand. Service was good, very prompt and attentive. There were a couple of problems, though. For one thing, there was no celery. That's not worth taking off any stars, but I've been to other Wild Wings Cafes and they have celery; it's a staple when you have wings. You need celery. The dressings were also not marked; that is a nice touch. Ditto some of the wings - there was no marking on the boneless. It's the little things that make an experience better. My real issue was the price. Wing bar and a drink: $15. Before tip. That's ridiculous. It isn't a full buffet - it's just wings. I cannot go back because it's just too expensive. Again, it's just wings. Not Ryans, not Sizzler, not a Chinese buffet where you have a lot of variety. SHould have cost no more than $10.

I went for the first time about a week ago. The food was pretty good but NOT for what we were charged. For three people (husband, son and myself) we spent $60. Yikes!! So that's why I'm giving it 2 stars. I did like the tons of choices on wing flavors and celery and salad were good but you gotta watch what you order or it adds up FAST. I also think the wings could be a wee bit plumper and fresher. They seemed a bit on the small and overdone side (for the price). My wing-size standard around here is Mc Creary's Pub in downtown Franklin. They've got some of the biggest and meatiest wings in town!

Wild Wing Cafe is located in a strip mall on Cool Springs Blvd. It's relatively new to the area, but I have been to a Wild Wing Cafe in Jacksonville, FL, so I knew what to expect. I went here for the daily lunch all you can eat wing bar. The buffet doesn't open until 11:30, so don't go too early. They have about 4 different flavors in both boneless and bone in. They also have a soup and 2 different dipping sauces for the wings. The atmosphere is decent, but nothing special. They have the typical decor of old signs and advertising. I was however, impressed with the beer selection. They have quite a few beers on tap that I didn't expect to see. The staff was nice and didn't let our drinks sit empty. What did surprise me was the price. The wing buffet was $11.99. That seems really expensive for some wings. The wings were pretty tasty, but no better than other restaurants in the area and certainly not good enough for the high price tag. I won't return simply because of the high price tag. I think that $8.99 would be much more reasonable and I might become a regular if that was the case.

This is our "Go to" place to eat and grab a cold beer. They have a great draft beer selection with several local brews. The food is great and the service is too. The wraps are amazing!Much, much, much better than any other wing place in town.

I love Wild Wing Cafe. I've eaten there from the original on Hilton Head to ones all over the SE. I love 'em. Love their wing flavors, and their grilled chicken feathers. But quality is inconsistent all over wherever you get 'em. This one, slow service, barely warm wings (that had clearly been under a heat lamp. My wife's chicken feathers were fine, but her fries were room temperature. To top it off, our server didn't come back until we were done, and then asked us how things were, after it was too late, and we had been sitting thirsty for the past 15 minutes after eating hot wings. I was excited to tell my Nashville friends about it, but changed my tune after this visit.

Went for lunch. The interior is very similar to Buffalo WW with Tvs and games but it's my understanding that they are not affiliated. I had the lunch buffet which was all you can eat wings for around $10. The wings were vastly superior to any other chain restaurant and most others I've had in the South. The service was good, the food was better and I was able to make it back to work on time.

Your quintessential sports bar. Wings were pretty good, we had the hot buffalo and the orange chicken flavor. Lots of flavors to choose from. $2 drafts can't go wrong. Great bartender and plenty of tvs. I travel a lot with work and this place is a great find in franklin. Especially while you're thinking about tiles! Equally great tile store 2 mins walk away. Furnish your house over a beer and some wings. Sweet deal!

Meh. We used to LOVE Wild Wing Cafe when we lived in Charleston, SC so we decided to stop at this location in Franklin on our way from Destin, FL back to our current home in Iowa. It was just alright. The service sucked. It took over 10 minutes to even have a server acknowledge us and take our drink order. Our appetizer order was wrong but it wasn't worth hunting down our server to have her make it right. Our kids' burger buns were really stale and they barely touched them, I imagine because of this. I get that pretty much nobody cares about kids' opinions of their food but this was pretty gross. Our wings were fine - heavy on the salt though and not as spicy as we remembered. It took a while to get our check which was frustrating since we had two little ones with us. If I could've flagged down any server, I would have. Unfortunately, this experience kind of ruined our nostalgic feelings we had towards Wild Wing Cafe. Oh well!

Like the lunch buffet. Their steel city chips are really good. I have tried midday of their wings and they are all pretty good.

  • Dan Z.

The Good: Wings; they really are "among" the best in the area. Crisp with lots of cool flavors to chooses from. Really like the steal town spud chips too. The Bad: Well, reaching here but it can get a bit noisy during bid sports games with cheering fans. If you are going for that, it will be a great time but if your going for conversation it may be a bit tough. The Rest:Two big bars; one inside snd one on a closed in deck that opens up in good weather. Lots of TVs. Good beer selection. More of a sports bar overall. Tips: zIf you want great food but care to keep an eye on the celeries, try the chicken feathers. They make them in any sauce you want and they come with a side. Also, for a wing joint the basil burger is great; my wife's favorite!

My fiancé and I come here all of the time. The food is always delicious and the prices are very reasonable. They have great specials on game days and other events. The large patio is very nice too. I have had the chicken fingers, wraps, sandwiches, and wings. All were very good! Nothing fancy, but definitely good prices and great food.

This is my go to place. Love it. The wing bar at lunch is about as good as it gets. The burgers are huge and their daily specials are a bargain. By the way, their salads are huge so you can definitely make a meal out of them. Service is good and it's not too loud. Good atmosphere. Oh and my kids love it and I love it when we take them on Kids Night. They show kids movies on the big screen and on tvs near where kids are sitting. Pretty cool!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! We continue to go to Wild Wing Cafe because of their decent menu and good prices. The service has always been bad but today it went from the normal bad to abysmal. We waited ten minutes to be greeted and even when we were greeted it wasn't by our server, we were told she was out back. The restaurant was vacant, maybe 6 or 7 total seated tables with an abundance of employees "working". We saw multiple employees sitting down at the bar texting or eating while the silverware they were supposed to be rolling sat out to the side. There were multiple uncleaned tables left from earlier in the day which sat filthy all throughout the restaurant. I will also note that the attire of the employees is tasteless. There is clearly no form of dress code here. Young women waitresses walk around in the shortest shorts and ripped shirts (bras and butt exposed). I am convinced that one of the male waiters was wearing floral swim trunks. Overall it's an unfortunate situation. The menu and food are good but the service is awful. Every.single.time. You have to try to be this bad.

Worst place I've been in awhile. Came in at 8p on a Thursday night, 3 tables occupied in entire restaurant and my party of 12. Took 15min before the waiter came over, he didn't write anything down, forgot most of order, food didn't arrive until 50min later, drinks forgotten, food burnt, drinks not refilled and no apologies or manager present. How does a place like this exist!

Truly underwhelming experience! I brought my 2 elementary age kids to meet up with my friends for my birthday. One friend brought his 2 year old and when we were greeted we were asked if we needed a high chair, we gladly accepted it. We quickly realized it was broken and asked for another only to find out they didn't have a properly functioning high chair. We toughed it out and should have left then. I had a coupon fir a complimentary did and orders a dip only to find on my bill they didn't remove the entire amount of the dip because they removed the lower priced appetizer instead. We waited 10 minutes after our food was brought out for silver wear. Finally, one of my friends explained the issues to the manager, and was told that they were working on issues! The only issues that they have is lack of return business. Avoid at all cost.

Came here the first time right after it opened. Great service, great bartenders, Tuesday night wings are half off, after ten domestic beers are half off as well. Great venue for local musicians and fun cover bands. Be warned that when Rubik's Grooved, an 80's cover band is playing on Friday nights, it can turn into quite a bit of a mess. Only time have had an issue was on the Rubik's Grooved show, and took almost twenty minutes to get a beer, let alone get food which was another 30 minute+ debacle, and then spent 15 minutes trying to pay. Other than that, have always had a great experience, and definitely will be my go to wings place for a long time to come still.

The service has been an issue here since I began coming to WWC; however, it has definitely, steadily improved over the last few months. The atmosphere is great...it is wide-open for kids, has a "game" area with pool tables, darts, Golden Tee, et cetera. The food is consistent. Ironically, although known for its wings, the hamburgers are very flavorful!
