El Patio has finally served me something to write about and want to share it with you! The Sopes are new and they are delicious! They come in a variety of choices, steak, chicken, pork, sausage and more! I actually thought I was eating something from a upper scale Mexican Restaurant and that for me is very exciting to my taste buds! They are served with fresh guacamole, lettuce, sour cream and a red salsa sauce on the side. I tried the steak and chicken and they were both delicious. I liked the chicken best, it had more flavour but the steak was also good. I added beans and rice to complete my meal. The service is always good and I eat there often always trying new things that mostly taste the same but like I said these are worth writing about, so go and try them if you get a chance.

Nice atmosphere. Quick service. Eating authentic Mexican food on a weekly basis kinda makes me biased. This tasted like heat lamp/straight outta the box, upgraded Taco Bell Mexican food. But when in Rome....

Menu says Chimichanga is fried tortilla with chicken & beans. It ended up being 2 little ones with nothing but chicken and no beans laying on a bit of nacho cheese. Thank goodness I ordered beans as a side. It was good once I combined it all. My server was too busy for me and looked put out when I asked for a second drink. The margarita was good though. I'm on the fence.

Atmosphere was nice, a few rooms to break up noise. The food came quickly and was really good. Had the pechuga especial. Husband had the fajita salad.

Pretty nice atmosphere and food is pretty good. I had the fish tacos and my colleagues had burritos and chimichanga. The fish tacos were okay but had better in SF. I think the garnish was a bit lacking and fish was so-so. Overall, the service was good and business seems to be pretty good. Steady crowd of folks and really liked their salsa with their tortilla chips. Price was not bad either. I think the side dish could be improved to go with the fish tacos.

This is a favorite restaurant locally and it just recently had to expand by opening a new location. I, sadly, have only visited once, but I hope for a chance to go back in the future when visiting family in the area. The salsa was respectively good; I've had better but I have also had far worse. Our service was also excellent and our chips were refilled multiple times during our visit. I was happy with the numerous options on the menu and it took me forever to pick out what I wanted. Being a health-conscious person, I tend to look for things that have some vegetables whenever possible, which is part of the reason I don't frequently eat out at American-Mexican restaurants, but this place had an amazing assortment of options. Rather than order a large meal, I ordered a chicken enchilada and got a side of the vegetables; I was incredibly happy with my meal. The side vegetable option ended up being a jackpot, and, even though I thought I was ordering a small meal, I had more food than I could eat, especially after the chips and salsa. I think my meal was under $6 dollars and I still had leftovers to enjoy for later. My visit here was a great experience.

I had the "Burrito Texano" for lunch and it was the best I've had in a long time. The chips were fresh and thin. Staff was very good. I will be back when in the area.

Awesome guacamole! Fresh, fresh ingredients with awesome smokey flavor. Salsa tasty, but not as spicy as I like, but about all the locals can tolerate :). The portions are huge.. and sharing is accommodated without objection. Their menu goes on for pages and pages, and available for take-out. I took a take out menuy with me to plan for my next visit.. I suspect that whatever you want in the world of Mexican food, they will accommodate. The Cheeses in queso, enchiladas, etc. is the best ever! It is a white, presumably mexican cheese. The service is unbelievable, seeing that you always have chips, salsa and water. The taco, is for real homemade and The fajitas, are savory and well seasoned. --- all this in a strip mall! They have several dining rooms suitable for families (VERY child friendly), groups and couples. There is full cocktail service with Margaritas that keep my spouse coming back! Highly recommend for a bread from the ordinary!

We drove up here looking at homes. We were recommended to come here by word of mouth. It was amazing. We ordered the Texas burrito. It was amazing. The meat is seasoned well. It was enlightened to feed me and Lindsey both and we were stuffed. The service was great too. This is also the nicest looking Mexican restaurant ive ever seen. The salsa is good but as mentioned before it's not spicy. When in Rome do as the Romans, right?

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
