Every time I have ordered pizza from here it has been delicious. The staff is friendly and the pizza is ready in about 10 minutes. I like to support local restaurants and I hope Florence will continue to support Rebel Pie. Highly recommend!

I drive through Florence on the way to Myrtle Beach and was so happy our normal place was closed for the July Fourth weekend. We found Rebel Pie on yelp and was not disappointed! I got the Margarita Pizza and my husband got the Meat Quarto Pizza. Made with all local ingredients and everything homemade it was wonderful. They bake their pies in a brick pizza oven also which makes them come out hot and bubbling. My hubby got a piece of cheesecake for desert and it was the best he has had in a while. He wouldn't even let me try it! Bottom line--- with everything local, this is definitely one to try!!

Great Yelp find while stepping off the highway on the way to take the kids to see the grandparents in FL. Many fun colas for the kids, they each got a black cherry cream soda. Yum. I love the set up of the brick oven right there when you walk in. The pizza was fantastic and the price was great. Only 4 stars as the table layout is just kind of a big open room, not very fitting for a brick oven place... I'd prefer a little seclusion from the other guests.

My wife and I ate here for lunch. It was an odd time in the afternoon so the place was dead but the food was definitely alive. We ordered the pimento cheese baguettes as an appetizer and for our meal we had the chicken pesto pizza. Both were great, the pimento cheese was fresh and homemade and the baguettes were toasted with nice grill marks on the underside. The wood fired pizza was fantastic and very fresh. Although filling, the pizza wasn't heavy on the stomach as most pizza tends to be. It's so nice to see a locally owned restaurant with quality food that sources all their ingredients from local farms and breweries. The price for two people with two drinks and a starter was only 28 dollars, so you really can't beat it. The staff was also friendly and the chefs loved hearing that we thought the pizza was awesome. We will definitely stop in again and I highly recommended if you like pizza or just good food in general!

Tonight we visited the new pizza spot Rebel Pie and thoroughly enjoy our time. We ordered two 12 inch pizzas: pepperoni and De Chèvre. Great flavors, nice textures, and tasty crust. In addition to some good pizza, Rebel Pie also has a great selection of SC brews. We will def. be back! Staff was friendly and attentive as well!

Everyone loves this place but I'm not a fan at all. Very little flavor, very few options and just not worth the money.

I'm torn on stars here. I personally devoured my 4 slices of cheese pizza. Fresh ingredients, Char on crust from wood fired oven, homemade sauce- perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. The rest of my party- not so pleased. Sister and Mother thought everything was good, but dislike char on their crust, so this turned them off some. Who knows what my Dad thought. He had the meat pie, ate half but kept talking about "why do people try to reinvent the wheel?" He's funny about pizza. Pizza is very subjective. So many ways to do it- you have to appreciate it for what it is, not what you want it to be. I'd personally eat a Rebel Pie again. My deduction of stars was more for service. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and left but in between was dicey. Our server was young and sweet. However under 18- this means you cannot serve or remove alcohol from tables. She offered us drinks but the could not bring them or clear the empties. Growing up in this area, I'm used to this, but they were not on top of it here and it made things slow going. The booth was tiny so having empties on the table was a space problem. I finally turned around and put extra plates and glasses on the table of the booth behind us. (yes, I could reach it- tight space!!) My Dad started with a salad, but they failed to bring salt and pepper to the table or asked if he needed it. I also had to ask for more water twice. Again, I enjoyed the pizza- this was just not a well rounded experience for my family.

Just ate lunch here, what a great find! This is the most authentic Neapolitan style pizza you'll find for miles around. This is from someone who has had real pizza all over Italy and who grew up in New Haven, a city that really put this style of pizza on the map in America. The wood fired brick oven makes all the difference. All of the ingredients are locally sourced, no added unnatural mess, and they stock local craft brews from around the state. Again, very rare in this area. They round out the experience with a comfortable dining room and warm, friendly service. Real foodies will definitely appreciate this place.

A pizza haven in the food desert that is this portion of I95. Excellent service delivered The Blackened and blue shrimp and meatball appetizer which were spot on. We had a Margherita and a shaved ribeye steak pizza pie. Both excellent with just the right char from the wood oven. Enjoy. P.S. Super clean bathrooms!!

We have been here a few times looking for a more "epicureous" meal, if you will. We have been pleased with the pizzas we've ordered, but never pleasantly surprised. The pizzas offered are basic, but delicious. You can tell they use quality ingredients for the most part, and make each pizza fresh. Our most recent visit we ordered the Mediterranean pizza and were disappointed to say the least. All the toppings we're sliding off, the crust a little soggy, and my husband who LOVES kalamata olives felt cheated to see the seemingly canned olives that sat atop our pizza like a throne of lies. It's a great place, good service, nice people, and good food. I just wish we had more options in Florence for food for foodies. CALLING ALL EPICUREANS! WE WANT GOOD FOOD!

First meal in about ten days that wasn't fried or 'cued, and Rebel Pie delivered. The pizza was moist and the crust perfectly done (I lived in Bologna, Italy for 4 years, so I'm not comparing it to Pizza Hut); ingredients (in my case: prosciutto, arugala, and onions) were nicely portioned and fresh. The salad we started with - a caprese - contained some very tasty tomatoes/basil, though the style was different that one normally expects from a caprese, which threw the wife a bit. Best of all, the owner Barry, a local boy who detoured through Minneapolis prior to opening up his pizza joint back in Florence, makes sure to stop by each table and check in. Barry explained to us his vision of serving true Neopolitan pies that celebrate the delicious local ingredients, including local microbrews. Rebel Pie is a winner in Florence and well worth the drive off the interstate if you're just passing through.

This pizza hits the top on my list. It's just perfect. It's light, ingredients actually do feel fresh, just as they boast ...Fresh local ingredients! The booth could be more cushiony to offer more comfort, but that will definitely not prevent me from going there again. I liked the ambience as well. What impressed me the most was the quick service... Can't get any better!

You can't go wrong with a wood oven, and this pizza is delicious. I got the margarita and my boyfriend got a pizza with red sauce, pepperoni, sweet italian sausage and green olives. We were on our way home to Charleston SC, and this was well worth the detour. Nice selection of beers on tap, too.

I just read through the reviews for Rebel Pie, and I don't understand the one with just 2 stars. Not at all. When I go to a great taco place, I'm not looking for great ambiance; I'm looking for great tacos. And when I want great Neapolitan-style pizza, I'm going to Rebel Pie. The pizzas are thin and crisp with just a hint of char around the edges. The pies are not overloaded with toppings--it's a great balance which shows off the crust to best effect. Rebel Pie takes "family restaurant" to the next level by including the whole family. Rather than off-putting, I find it charming that the kids are helping out with the family business. It's also worth it to note that we drove 2 hours to come to Rebel Pie after hearing great things through facebook. Our visit was worth every mile we drove, and then some. Oh, and come for the pizza but save room for some of Alan Cooke's stellar cheesecake for dessert.

Service was a little slow. Went on lunch break and it took just about the whole lunch hour. Pizza was fabulous though. Would definitely go back - but only when I have plenty of time. Saw on the menu they had some awesome appetizers and desserts I'd like to try. Pizza will not disappoint you!

Greatest pizza in town. They have more gourmet style pizzas. They have fresh ingredients like shrimp and avocado to put on them. You have to try the s'mores dessert pizza for sure!

Thin and chewy crust with a tasty sauce and fresh vegetables. Hard to beat. Nice selection of local craft beer. Very different from the standard pizza house.

Amazing pizza. My wife said their September pizza with spicy salami and sausage was the best pizza she has ever had. Great local food and a good beer selection.

Rebel Pie recently moved into a new location on 2nd Loop Rd. in Florence. Overall I wasn't impressed by Rebel Pie. It did not live up to all of the hype. Atmosphere: This place has a "cool factor" of zero. Green carpet, cheap tables and booths make this place about as inviting as an old pizza hut, not to mention the fluorescent lights over each table. Most fast food places have better decor. Staff: Certainly the oddest part of my experience. My waiter was a boy around 12 years old. All of the waitstaff seemed around the ages of 10-16, except for an adult manager. For $11-15 pizzas you'd expect a more professional staff. Food: I had heard rave reviews about the pizza at this place. Clearly those people have never left Florence. My pizzas was moist and flimsy, I ate most of it with a fork because it was so limp I couldn't pick it up. My generic salad tasted like any I've had at McDonald's. This place is far from gourmet or distinct. The crust did have that brick oven taste that you'd expect. Location: Strange place for a restaurant. They recently moved from a rural warehouse to an outdated strip mall. Although my experience wasn't necessarily bad, it certainly wasn't what I expected. It's a shame that this is the best wood-fired pizza that you can get in Florence.

Nothing fancy... clean, reasonably priced and the absolute epitome of what terrific pizza should be... great bread adorned. Superb!
