When Tim Hortons left Wakefield after financial struggles, Bess Eaton came and took place, again. I'm not a Rhode Islander but I have been getting familiar with many of the things that happen here after spending 4 years of my life in the area. That's why I know that Bess Eaton was there, first, before Starbucks and Tim Hortons and everyone else. Now onto the actual coffee and services. I gotta say the are really good, really really good. The first time I went there I just had a medium coffee with cream and sugar. The coffee, if not the best thing I have had, was a good quality brew, flavorful and very enjoyable. The baristas are very friendly and helpful and the place in general is very comfortable -except for the coldness of the place due to the AC-. As for the prices, they are very reasonable and way cheaper than starbucks. Also they are very generous with the amount of coffee they serve. A few days ago went again to buy a medium sized iced coffee and the thing they gave me was big. So big I honestly thought it was a large cup of coffee, but it wasn't. I will try and keep buying coffee there as much as I can. It's always refreshing to see some competition around and not pay so much for overpriced coffee like Starbucks wants me to. In the meantime I declare myself a fan of Bess Eaton's revival in Wakfield RI.

I look forward to visiting the beaches during the summer just so I can get my Large ice coffee from Bess Easton!! The Staff is so incredibly kind and always smiling. Their coffee is so much better than others around; plus just as reasonable. The best part of all is that crushed ice!! Please come back up to the Northern part of R.I.!!!

Let me tell you.... Wakefield is all a buzz over this place reopening! The line was out the door, the drive thru line was to the street. And why you ask? For styrofoam 32oz containers filled with crushed ice and ice coffee. Even on a day when its 25 degrees out. The staff was a little frazzled, which doesnt surprise me. They had been getting their asses handed to them from the minute they opened. There was a well dressed couple (Im assuming the owners) stocking baked goods, and checking on the staff. They dont have the trademark Red White and Blue cups yet, but Im sure without a doubt, they are on their way. Once the staff gets the hang of it, and the craziness calms down, Im sure this place will run like the well oiled machine that it used to be. Good Job guys, and thank you for making Wakefield that Happiest Place on planet earth.

Maybe we went too late....? Maybe it was an off day....? Maybe we are just super picky about our donuts....?! I dunno, I don't think we even finished our donuts from Bess Eaton and that is unheard of :O

These guys have never failed to impress me. Love their food products and especially their coffee. Whenever we're at the beaches or down that way we are sure to stop in before returning home.

Good news Bess Eaton has returned to Wakefield. Great coffee, bakery products and breakfast sandwiches. Much better than the overpriced yuppie coffee sold accross the street. WiFi is supposed to be up and running in about a week.
